Actually, the book is mostly about Frank Marshall Davis - another hero in Obama's life. There are a couple of heros in the White House too - Axelrod and Jarrett. And let's not forget a hero Van Jones, who has been moved to relative sidelines. You're right. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. Unfortunately, posthumous biographies attributing one or more unflattering or unfavorable characteristics to deceased individuals are a dime a dozen, and do not constitute sufficient evidence for tarnishing the reputation of a legitimate American War Hero. Have a nice day.

Wow. Broken record. First of all, the point is that Obama is raised by communists - not about Stanley Dunham's heroism or the lack thereof. Missed clear and deflected.

And, to top it off, you're personally attacking me - and the author I referred to - for making the point that I'm making. Read too much of Saul Alinsky? Or it comes to you naturally - perhaps, from your parents' kitchen talk?

reader: I DID offer you information that you never intend to even acknowledge.

I'm astonished and amazed that you would accept such a low standard of evidence for purposes of posthumously tarnishing the reputation of an American war hero. Unfortunately, it's one of the anomalies in our law at this time that anyone can say anything about a dead man without any fear of being sued for libel or slander. And of course the bookstores are full of posthumous biographies slandering famous men and women who are no longer able to defend themselves.

From my standpoint, "rank hearsay" from an unauthorized posthumous biography without any corroborating direct evidence of what a man actually said or actually did is not a sufficient basis to associate a man with a despised and discredited ideological dogma, and the fact that you are so ready to do so in the case of Stanley Durham is quite surprising to me. Perhaps the sacrifices of American soldiers in liberating Europe from the scourge of Naziism don't mean as much to you as they do to me.

The truth is that Stanley Durham was an American hero who served with General George Patton in WWII, and unless you can present some direct and independently verifiable evidence of what Stanley Durham actually said or actually did, I want nothing more to do with you.

I DID offer you information that you never intend to even acknowledge. Instead, you - as all religious marxists do - got stuck on a non-sequitor like a broken record. Nobody on the left challenged Kengor's research. Instead, it's being completely ignored, as the marxists left ALWAYS does, when they cannot challenge the facts. When they do - even based on a slightest inaccuracy - they ruthlessly bury the source, no matter how insignificant to the matter the discrepancy is. Laura Logan is a perfect example of that. I mentioned four Communists closest to Obama. FOUR. No matter. You wasted space and time on your "he served with General George Patton" mantra. Pathetic. And why would you as a marxist believing that marxism is instrumental for Western civilization complain about being demeaned by being called one? Reeks of schizophrenia, or worse - perhaps, deep down, you understand the depth of evil and immorality this ideology brings?

reader: Neither [do?] I understand why you insist on the fact that he wasn't, just because he was serving under Patton.

You have offered no proof whatsoever that Stanly Durham was a Communist, yet you do not think there is anything wrong with calling him a Communist even if it is not actually true. Unfortunately, this is where you and I must part company.

The deliberate use of lies and half-truths for purposes of character assassination and gaining political advantage has been the hallmark of Communists, Leninists, Stalinists, Bolsheviks, Leftists and Socialists from the very beginning, and I want no part of it.

Stanley Durham was an All-American hero because he served with General George Patton in one of the greatest political and ideological struggles of all time, and he is no longer here to defend himself. As such, he deserves the presumption of innocence. Unfortunately, the fact that you are not concerned with whether your charges against him are true or not is more than enough for me to distance myself from you.

"Obama had a similar moment on September 11, 2012 when the Muslim rebels he had assisted in modern day Tripoli turned on America and assassinated our diplomats"

Now that's interesting, cause Obama still refuses to describe what exactly he was doing during the attack on Benghazi annex. Did I mention that it was the Benghazi annex, and not where the Embassador Stevens supposed to be, i.e., Tripoli, actually? But, since you KNOW that Obama had similar moment, I assume that you were by his side. Why don't you tell us all about it?

I don't understand why is it not nice to call Communist a Communist. Neither I understand why you insist on the fact that he wasn't, just because he was serving under Patton. I wonder if Zinn (who I believe to have been a card carrying Communist) thought that, even though he was a proud member of the Communist Party, it was not nice to call him that. Is it ok with you if I call Khruschev a Communist? You are utterly delusional. And what's it have to do with Putin and his vews on economics, for crying out?
