Israel deployed ground forces in Gaza Thursday night both because Hamas’s terror tunnels into Israel have become an unacceptable threat, and because it had to break the deadlock that had developed between it and Hamas.

Until the ground invasion, Israel and Hamas were in a holding pattern. Hamas would not accept a ceasefire deal because Egypt’s offers provided the Iranian sponsored, Muslim Brotherhood terror army with no discernible achievements. And absent such achievements, Hamas prefers to keep fighting. Israel for its part is unwilling to make any concessions to Hamas in exchange for its cessation of its criminal terror war that targets innocent civilians in Israel as a matter of course. As Hamas sees things, it has three ways of winning.

First, if Israel had agreed to ceasefire terms that left Hamas better off than it was when it started its newest round of indiscriminate missile attacks against Israeli civilian targets, then it could have declared victory.

Hamas’s terms for a ceasefire included, among other things, an open border with Egypt, egress to the sea, open access to the border zone with Israel, an airport, a sea port, and the release of terrorists from Israeli prisons. Obviously, if Israel agreed to even a few of these terms, its agreement would have constituted a strategic victory for Hamas.

The second way for Hamas to win is if it able to accuse Israel of killing a large number of Palestinians at one time In that case, Hamas can expect for the US to join with the EU and the UN in forcing Israel to accept ceasefire terms that require it to make significant concessions to the Palestinians in Gaza as well as in Judea and Samaria.

This is what happened in Hezbollah’s war with Israel in 2006. During the fighting, Hezbollah alleged that Israel killed a great number of Lebanese civilians in Kfar Kana. Those allegations caused then US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice to effectively end US support for Israel’s war effort. Rice quickly coerced Israel into accepting ceasefire terms that paved the way for Hezbollah’s takeover of the Lebanese government.

If Hamas is able to create a similar situation in Gaza, it will likely achieve the same sort of strategic victory over Israel.

Finally, if Hamas is able to produce a picture of victory that can burnish its reputation as the leader of the jihad against the Jews throughout the Islamic world, then it will be able to declare victory. Operations such as Hamas’s repeated attempts to launch mass casualty attacks in Israeli communities along the border with Gaza by infiltrating Israeli territory through its underground tunnel networks, have been geared towards achieving such an end.

Since Hamas initiated the current round of warfare against Israel, Israelis have been split in their assessments of how best to win the war. Still now, with ground forces deployed in Gaza, the dispute over the proper goal of the operation remains significant.

Although everyone supports the troops, politicians on the Left, led, most openly by Labor party leader Isaac Herzog say that Israel should limit its goals to the maximum extent and seek a ceasefire because “there is no military solution” to the conflict with Hamas.

Israel’s best bet, they say, is to do everything it can to end the Hamas missile strikes as quickly as possible through negotiations. At the same time, Herzog argues, since there is only a diplomatic solution to the Palestinian conflict with Israel, Israel needs to send negotiators to Ramallah to beg Palestinian Authority President and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas to sign a peace deal with the Jewish state.

There are several basic problems with the Left’s position.

First, Hamas and its partners in Gaza from Islamic Jihad, al Qaeda affiliated jihadist militia and Fatah have no interest whatsoever in peaceful coexistence with Israel. They exist to fight Israel. This means that the only way that Israel can get them to stop fighting is by using its military force to convince them that it is not in their interest to continue shooting.

In other words, the only “solution” to Hamas’s aggression is a military solution.

Then there is the bizarre notion that a deal with Fatah is somehow the silver bullet that will end the military threat to Israel from Hamas-controlled Gaza.

A deal between Israel and Fatah in Judea and Samaria would have no effect whatsoever on the situation on the ground in Gaza. Given Hamas’s absolute rejection of peace with Israel, and widespread support for Israel’s destruction throughout Palestinian society, a peace deal between Israel and Fatah in Judea and Samaria would in all likelihood increase Hamas’s prestige among Palestinians and throughout the Muslim world. In other words a peace deal with Fatah would enhance Hamas’s prestige and power and ultimately bring about an expansion of its military capabilities.

Beyond that, Abbas has ruled the PA for the past decade. Throughout this period, he consistently demonstrated through deed and word that he will never, ever sign a peace treaty with Israel. Abbas has twice rejected offers of peace and statehood from Israel. Just three months ago he rejected another offer from US President Barack Obama. During the same period, he has signed three peace deals with Hamas. The most recent one is now in force, on the ground.

Since Hamas initiated its newest round of criminal projectile assaults on Israel, Abbas has acted as a full partner in the war. He has represented Hamas internationally. He has negotiated on its behalf – and continues to do so in Cairo.

Abbas has slandered Israel in the most obscene terms. His Fatah group has actively participated in the missile offensive, on the ground in Gaza. It has also proclaimed its absolute unity of purpose with Hamas and Islamic Jihad in the war against Israel in daily official pronouncements.

Given all of this, the notion that Israel can pin a diplomatic strategy for ending Hamas’s war against it on Fatah is not merely ridiculous. It is inexcusably irresponsible for would-be national leaders to maintain faith with it. The only purpose such behavior serves is to reinforce the Americans and Europeans in their delusional faith that the chimerical two-state solution is a recipe for utopian peace rather than war, bloodshed and radicalization.

On the other hand, the Right, led most outspokenly by Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman insists that the role of IDF ground forces in Gaza should be to reconquer the area with the aim of destroying Hamas’s capacity to continue shooting rockets and missiles. Only such a ground-based operation, they claim will eliminate the threat of Hamas’s projectiles.

There are several problems with this position.

First, it makes assumptions about Hamas that are not necessarily correct.

It is far from clear that the only way to destroy Hamas and end its capacity to harm Israel is to reconquer Gaza.

The main reason that Hamas began the current war is because the terror group is in distress.

The Egyptians have cut off the Palestinian Muslim Brotherhood’s financial and military supply lines through the Sinai. Hamas of the summer of 2014 is not Hezbollah from the summer of 2006. Hezbollah had open supply lines from Iran through Syria and Turkey. Hamas is locked in between Israel and Egypt.

Moreover, Hamas is challenged on the ground in Gaza by the same jihadist groups that now fight with it against Israel. If Hamas cannot produce a victory in this round of fighting then its friends from al Qaeda affiliates and from Islamic Jihad will renew their challenge to its authority. Add to the mix the response of a public angry at Hamas for forcing it to serve as human shields for missiles and terror masters who were unable to bring home the bacon so to speak by fighting, and there is a reasonable chance that Hamas will face a full-blown insurrection once a ceasefire with Israel goes into effect.

The only way for Hamas to avert this fate is by being able to point to significant gains from the fighting that will neutralize at least some of its opponents and rivals.

In other words, Israel doesn’t have to reconquer Gaza to destroy Hamas. We just have to humiliate Hamas and knock out capabilities like the tunnel networks that immediately threaten us. And then let the Gazans fight it out.

Finally, a full-scale ground invasion is a risky proposition. There is no assurance of success. Israel deployed ground forces in south Lebanon in 2006. But due to incompetent national and military leadership, the forces achieved little from a strategic perspective while absorbing painful losses.

Israel faces an acute operational challenge in Gaza. The nine year absence of IDF forces and Israeli civilians on the ground has wrecked Israel’s intelligence gathering capabilities and so limited the IDF’s operational effectiveness. If in 2004 Israel was able to defeat Hamas through targeted killing of its commanders, repeating that success today without good human intelligence assets on the ground is a much more difficult prospect.

This is why we are already beginning to see diminishing results from the air campaign. Without human assets on the ground, the IDF either cannot locate or cannot get to the remaining high value targets.

Unless Israel is able to change this situation fairly rapidly, it will not be able to sufficiently diminish Hamas’s capabilities to convince Hamas’s leadership that they are better off ending the current fight without achieving anything significant than maintaining it until they do.

This is why the government was finally compelled to order the ground campaign.

Ground forces are required to develop the information Israel needs to kill a large enough number of Hamas leaders and destroy the tunnel complexes and a large enough quantity of missiles and launchers to convince Hamas’s terror masters to cry, “Uncle.”

While the ground operations continue, Israeli negotiators should be avidly agreeing to every ceasefire offer that denies Hamas any achievements. The IDF must continue to exercise an abundance of caution to prevent Hamas from luring our forces into a situation where we will be accused of massacring Palestinians.

None of this is easy or simple. No result is guaranteed. But in fighting Hamas today, Israel finds itself in a better position than it has faced in past fights with Hamas. For the first time, we face an enemy with a limited shelf life. Without supply lines from Egypt, Hamas cannot fight forever. Its allies at the UN can feed its forces and protect Hamas from an insurrection from a starving population. But the UN cannot rearm Hamas. It cannot reopen the smuggling tunnels from Egypt to enable materiel, money and trainers to enter Gaza.

Hamas is desperate for anything it can call a victory. By denying it one on the one hand, while taking action to force its leaders to prefer organizational humiliation to personal destruction on the other, Israel can win a decisive victory.

Caroline Glick is usually right. I hope she is here. I am not sure what point she is making. Why not go in an wipe out rocket launching sites and not give the land back?

    • Bamaguje

I totally agree with you. Ground forces to totally annihilate Hamas as well as any other Jihadist group that might want to take its place.. then reannex Gaza to prevent it from being used as a rocket base against Israel.

Contrary to what the defeatist Labor party would have us believe, there is a military solution to this conflict. Israel has just being unwilling to use it.

It’s not enough to defeat your enemy in battle, you must also crush his/her will to fight. That can only be achieved by dispensing with so called ‘peace process’, then unreservedly crushing the Arab Jihadists masquerading as “Palestinians”, regardless of the bleating of the so-called ‘international community.’

      • republicc

The reality is that Israel needs the United States. All Obama wants is an excuse to force Israel to settle on unfavorable terms. Didn’t you read the article?

    • JayWye

the “rocket launchers” are MOBILE;for smaller rockets, they set up a simple launch rail between two civilian homes, covered by a tarp so they’re not spotted by Israeli aircraft, then yank the tarp, fire the rocket, and run to the nearest tunnel. the larger rockets fire from trucks, they roll out of a tunnel, elevate rocket, fire, and roll back into the tunnel.

      • Hank Rearden

ic – meaning that there aren’t “launch sites” in any useful way.

And if Israel were to use counter-battery fire, it would be hitting “civilians” if it hit anything.

One of the problems for Israel is the relatively unlimited financial support the oppo gets from us, the UN, the EU, etc. In a “normal” situation, one of the things that would send the oppo home would be the need to make a living, to get on with life. But terrorism IS the living of at least the leadership. So long as that is the case, they can do this forever because they don’t have to care about the welfare of their followers and their own wealth continues to build in those accounts in Switzerland.

No easy answers because Israel is constrained by Jewish morality from slaughtering the oppo, which would be the historic solution.

Israel is conducting an experiment – can you win a zero-sum struggle by being a nice guy? History says no. So, we’ll see. It has to use an opportunity like this to wipe out as much of the leadership of the oppo as it can.

Islam cannot accept the victory of the Jews and remain Islam. Of course, people can adjust to anything, so I guess it is a question of how vigorous literal Islam remains. Perhaps the counter-revolution of the Egyptian people is a positive sign.

  • Drakken

Caroline, if you want to win, give Gaza the Carthage treatment, anything other than that, you will be doing this again in a year or two.

  • Hktony

There is only one way with Islam? You defend your land and if
they step on it you do what is necessary for them never to do it again or they will! History shows if you don’t stand your ground they take it. Never ever let a Muslim into your country. Look at the damage they do everywhere they go.
I just wonder how much suffering do people need to see before non Muslims recognize that all muzzies in General will kill you. A horrible thought but again look at history and not try and be the nice guy.

    • Rational being

You are 100% correct. They damage one way or the other, every place they settle in quantitiy. Small example I read years ago: They are 5% of the population in Denmark, but commit over 50% of the rapes in that country.

      • BS77

England, Holland, Sweden etc etc have opened the gates and let the Trojan Horse in…now they moan in despair. The governing bureaucrats and social engineers with the “multicultural diversity” PC agenda have put European nations in mortal danger. What fools!!!!

        • Al Pratt

America is doing the same thing, just more slowly. After 911 islamopithecine immigration increased and President Bush was hugging imams at the White House. Now we have Barack Hussein Obama and an Administration infiltrated by his islamopithecine pals. Supposedly koranimals only make up one or two percent of the US population but that’s still too many.

I still think the Latinos are the final nail in the coffin of America.

        • American Patriot

England is not a country. England is one of four internal divisions (along with Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) of the country named the United Kingdom (or Britain). Calling the UK “England” is offensive to the people of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, the UK’s three other internal divisions.

    • ObamaYoMoma

Never ever let a Muslim into your country.

There is only one country in the world that takes that piece of very good advice to heart and that is in Japan. Japan does not allow Muslims to immigrate because it rightly discerns nothing good can ever come of it.

      • bigjulie

Absolute certainty!! Muslim immigration has only one purpose…the beginning of the end to the host country’s traditional existence! We have all these diplomatic wannabees trying to embellish their reputations as peacemakers, mostly through “negotiations”, never ever learning that Muslims do NOT negotiate!! They may go through the initial motions, but they are all fakery and window dressing as the process unwinds and your offers are never good enough, no matter how good they are!
You either keep them in their own countries where they are already established, or risk eventual complete destruction of your own!

        • OMGO

I appreciate the wisdom of what you are saying, that you “keep them in their own countries.” The fault I find with what you say is that the countries they refer to as Muslim countries were once predominantly Christian, Zorroastrian (a monotheistic belief of millions but now reduced to 200,000 worldwide), Buddhist, and Hindu as well as large Jewish populations from the Roman diaspora. There are still remnants of those religions within many of these countries that Muslims kill as part of their entertainment, along with stoning and other forms of honor killing. In recognition of those remnants, we should start referring to these nations not a Muslim countries but as Muslim-dominated countries, a phrase that I think recognizes the repression of non-Muslims by Muslim majorities in those countries, while subtly, with the word ‘dominated’ suggesting that injustice is taking place that needs to be corrected.

          • bigjulie

So noted…but the bottom line is the Islam must be stopped, ended, brought to a close, eliminated, if we are to have a major disruption to world peace neutralized! Islam is a case study in how human minds are molded, for good or evil (in the case of Islam) and how easily it is accomplished!
Once programmed, these poor people are condemned to death at the hands of everyone on the planet who really have no intention or desire to become “Muslim”, because death is what these “innocents” are taught to offer as the only alternative to their way of believing!
Their “way” is not negotiable! They have holy documents that allow complete falsehoods to be offered as a means of continuing Allah’s “will” and they thereby eliminate the believability of everything they say! What do you do with a whole people who lie constantly in pursuit of their ends and feel entirely justified in those lies by their own holy scriptures? You cannot possibly hope to reach any sort of détente with such a group, because it is at once obvious that, in the end, it is their way, or the highway!! The rest of us either “submit” or DIE!!
Sorry!! Not if I can help it in any way!!

            Islam AND communism/fascism/socialism.

      • Remembering JDL

That’s because Japan was once a religious totalitarian state under Shintoism prior to and during World war 2. It took 2 A bombs for the japs to agree to the unconditional surrender which was predicated by the elimination of their national religion. Look at them today, free from the chains of Shintoism and a friend of the US.

        • bigjulie

Actually, it was the elimination of the doctrine of “bushido” the Samurai concept of “no surrender”. Shintoism had nothing to do with it…but your concept of what it took to eliminate it is steady on course! Instead of 2 megatons, however, 5 to 20 megatons will be required because many many more minds will have to be changed…minds rooted in 7th century savage ignorant methodology as a viable means of “progress” towards their ends of a worldwide caliphate!
Most of us do not want to become “Muslim” but their methodology is to continue to make the rest of the world “an offer we can’t refuse”! It can’t possibly end well for them…or us!

          • Remembering JDL

Thx for clearing that up, but whether it’s bushido,Shinto or Islam it’s still a faith based ideology that is anti-individual It calls for the submission of the individual for the cause of the ideology. Any appeasement to it only fuels the enforcement of the ideology. Overwhelming force by whatever means necessary leading to an acknowledged defeat by the enemy along with total abandonment of the ideology is our only recourse. We see what appeasement has done

Actually, that’s not exactly true. The Japanese allow immigration but you must take Japanese citizenship. No dual-national citizens are allowed. There are only a limited number of Japanese Muslims, likely because of Japanese nationalism. Japan does accept Muslim immigrants now but the demands are very high and are job-specific.

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_in_Japan

        From Wikipedia:

Islam was thought to have first come to Japan in the early 1900s when Muslim Tatars were escaping Russian expansionism.[9] The Muslim community in Japan has a history of over 100 years, although some sources contest more than this amount.[9][10][11] In 1909 it was documented by historian Caeser E. Farah that Abdul-Rashid Ibrahim was the first Muslim who successfully converted the first ethnic Japanese, and in 1935 Kobe Mosque – Japan’s first Islamic building – was constructed.[9][12] Some sources have stated that in 1982 the Muslims numbered 30,000 (half were natives).[9] Many[specify][not in citation given] of the ethnic Japanese during the economic boom of the 1980s converted when large swathes of immigrants from Asia came and integrated with local population.[13] The majority of estimates of the Muslim population have been put at around 100,000 in estimates.[9][14][15] Islam remains a minority religion in Japan, and there is no evidence as to whether Islam is growing or not. Conversion is more prominent among young ethnic Japanese married women, as documented by the Japan Times as early as the 1990s.[13] Furthermore in 2000 Keiko Sakurai had estimated the number of ethnic Japanese Muslims in Japan at 63,552, and around 70,000 – 100,000 foreign Muslims residing in the country.[10] However according to essayist Michael Penn states that 90% of Muslims are foreign and about 10% are ethnic, but the true figure is unknown and this is just another speculative estimate.[14] In Japan the government does not take religion into account as part of the demographic concern under religious freedom. As Penn states, “The Japanese government does not keep any statistics on the number of Muslims in Japan. Neither foreign residents nor ethnic Japanese are never asked about their religion by official government agencies”.

Contrast the Wikipedia version of why Islam has an uphill climb in Japan w/what an Israeli writes:

History shows if you don’t stand your ground they take it. Never ever let a Jew into your country. Am I merely telling the truth as I see it just like Hktony? And as of my posting this comment all the comments below are supporting his bigotry and hatred. So for all of you that feel this is Anti-Semitic, unless you are prepared to label his comments racist, bigoted claptrap take you anti-Semitic hypocrisy and smile.

My comments are for illustration purposes only- His comments and those below are clearly meant in earnest. No country which practices genocide and apartheid like Israel can survive in the modern world. But from the sound of the comments I keep hearing around the net, Israel’s supporters still haven’t figured that out yet.

      • JayWye

        that “genocide” is nonsense;
there’s a lot more “Palestinians” over in the West Bank;SAME people(Arabs.).
Fact is,if Gaza doesn’t want it’s civilians killed, they should not launch attacks from there into Israel.
As for “apartheid”,that’s more nonsense. Israel’s muslim citizens have all the rights and privileges of Jewish Israelis.
        Stop with the propaganda.

      • Hank Rearden

I know just what you mean. You let Jews in and you don’t know WHAT is going to happen. As soon as you turn around, you can’t move for the schools and the hospitals. And the doctors! Don’t get me started. And then the first thing you know, those Jews start writing books and putting on plays. Oh, the humanity!

        • Debbie G

Just wondering if the “dearborn” stands for Dearborn, MI., an American mecca for muslims.

    • OMGO

Years ago, an Ethiopian man expressed to me much of what you have here. He had left his country because his government had let Muslims in. “They want to completely take over everything,” he said, “They are crazy.” After reading versions of the Koran, Hadiths and the Sira, made readable and chronolgically understandable by the Center for the Study of Ploitical Islam, I have realized that the term “radical Muslim” is completely redundant, because, as you say, they all want to kill all non-Muslims because this is what Muhammud instructed them to do, adding that lying to, cheating, robbing, stealing from, torturing, raping, enslaving and killing

non-Muslims is pleasing to Allah because it advances Islam. When Muhammud defined Islam as the religion of submission, he did not mean submission to his desert god Allah so much as he meant that everyone should either submit to Islam or die.

  • Clive Walters

Israel needs to be clear to the world and rightly strike aggressive rocket launches with immediate retaliatry fire; three misisiles against a hot launch site should do it. So the iron dome target acquisition radar can give the launch location and then direct attack as well as intercept should follow each time. This would destroy Hamas equipment and skill. End of story.

    • Gee

Not going to work. Hamas sets up the rockets on metal tube stands with a timer. Only civilians are left in the area to move the stands when they cool down – usually children

    • Drakken

You either go big or go home. Rolling arty barrages are a nice touch.

  • HG

There is a better solution: Cut off the water to Gaza. They either surrender or die. All of Gaza’s water comes from Israel. It is insane to continue to supply it while Hamas is trying to kill Jews. Cutting off the water will not endanger IDF lives, which the ground invasion does.

    • The March Hare

But it will endanger the people of Gaza that Hamas controls. That has always been the problem of the situation. If humanitarian issues weren’t important, then wholesale bombing would have taken care of it long ago.

      • Habbgun

If you are engaging in a terror war that targets civilians and children you lose the ability to say there is a humanitarian component. The Palis have done just that. By the way just as Hitler preferred his people die en masse defending his vision the Hamas leadership will prefer Palis die en masse defending Islam. This is a win-win and the left will get its dream of having people realize elections have consequences. Put in Hamas and die for Hamas.

        • The March Hare

As I said, if the humanitarian issues weren’t important. What makes the issues important is the blowback against Israel for responding at all, even though they do so with surgical precision. The entities screaming at Israel for responding are playing along with Hamas, are the vast majority of the noise and the cause of pressure from the UN, the US and other leftist and Muslim nations. This on-the-ground action is to prevent the loss of life of the arabs and shut up the critics while taking care of the problem for now and the near future.

          • Habbgun

It is time to stop worrying about blowback. Blowback is not just something which can flare against Israel. Blowback is the cloud of fear that allows Islamists to fight the type of war Jihadis like to fight. Jihadis want to be parasitical. They want to exact tribute while they slowly strangle other nations to death. Blowback is not to be feared. The fear of blowback is a far bigger problem.

Just for once Israel should stare down the hypocritical nations that won’t actually do anything anyway and do what has to be done. Winning a test of strength is an absolute victory. It should be sought.

    • Herb Suhl

Could Sryia then cut off he Jordan River into Israel? Besides the PR from the media of Gaza babies dehydrating would be a horrible PR problem for Israel.

      • JayWye

Syria used to do exactly that, cut off the Jordan River into Israel. Despite treaties and International Agreements.
Since they lost part of the Golan, they don’t do that any more.
But the major difference is that the Jordan is a natural water source, and Gaza gets supplied with Israel’s purified water from Israel’s utilities, not natural water sources. Same for the electric.

        • Herb Suhl

The West Bank must tap into the Jordan as well. And if there is enough left downstream the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as well. I was thinking the Israelis could flood all those Gaza tunnels when they find them.

          • Drakken

When you dump some napalm into them it takes care of who ever is in there and marks the entrance.

          • Herb Suhl

The Israelis will just keep growing their population and their economy. Given what happened to them and their dependence on international trade and investment I think they will avoid the use of napalm. Even though the Palestinians would happily kill every Jew in the Solar System, the Israelis prefer to keep the Arab body count low.

    • James_IIa

Quite interesting, but in all probability a loser. Israel would be tagged for genocide. But you need not take an all-or-nothing approach to this sort of thing. In wars, infrastructure gets damaged, whether intentional or not, and people have to work around the problems. So if Israel allowed part of the distribution network to be damaged, it could still allow a large enough supply of water to keep people alive under rationing. It can be done, and the stressful conditions would put pressure on the Hamas leadership.

As Glick says, and as I have seen elsewhere, Hamas is becoming increasingly resented by the residents (Gazaians?) because of its war crimes of human sacrifice. If to that some hardship in getting water is added, Hamas may take another big propaganda blow. However, if Israel blocked the water completely, all the anger would be directed at her.

      • JayWye

        it’s “Gazans”.

  • Lanna

Israel is doing what any other nation would do to protect their citizens, they have full authority and the moral obligation to protect their land from these Rockets going into their cities. Watch the tunnels, that’s an avenue that Hamas will try again and again unless they are impassable and collapsed!

    • Gee

Israel is doing far less than any other nation would do to protect their citizens

  • DaCoachK

Armored divisions on two sides. Meet in the middle. Kill and crush every Palestinian/Muslim in between. Surround Israel with a fortified fence. Don’t let Muslims in. It is the only way for Israel to survive. The Muslims use the Israelis’ values and the rule of law against them. They play dirty; Israel needs to return the favor in spades. Palestinians wanting a state is a myth. They only want the destruction of Israel.

    • Gee

There are a lot of Muslims in Israel that are the equal to anybody. The Druse and even Bedouin serve in the IDF. They are in the courts, education and medical fields.

Some of the best citizens in Israel are Muslims. Just have to allow them equality and not the right to impose their Sharia and they are great citizens for the most part

      • DaCoachK

I’m not wrong. My solution would work 100%. Israel, for years, has tried to broker a peace with these savages. None of it has bore fruit. Eliminate the problem. Period.

He is right. The Psuedostinians are not interested in a two state “solution.” They want all of Israel and they want the Jews dead and gone.

      • Al Pratt

There are a lot of muslims in Israel that are the equal of anybody? How many are a lot? I’m just curious because when hamas started this latest rocket barrage I saw “a lot” of muslims there dancing and cheering. The islamopithecines in the Knesset seem to be a nasty bunch, too. And then there are the schools, television programs, etc, that teach their kids to hate Jews.

So how many are “a lot” of decent Israeli muslims?

Hamas also misread Israel, when it calculated that the IDF would never send troops into the Gaza Strip. Now, too, the leaders of this radical Palestinian group are counting on Israeli forces not venturing into the densely-populated urban center of Gaza City to beard them in their bunkers and destroy their military machine. If they have got it right, they will have won.

    • Gee

I think you are wrong – Hamas has been counting on it. They want better opportunities to hold Israelis hostage and they want their civilians to be killed – better PR

    • ObamaYoMoma

the leaders of this radical Palestinian group

There is nothing radical or extreme about Hamas. As a matter of fact, the jihadists that comprise Hamas are no more or no less radical than the millions of Muslims that have migrated to America for the nefarious purposes of mass Muslim infiltration of our society and for eventual demographic conquest.

While Hamas jihadists have elected to wage jihad violently in their particular case, those Muslims that migrated to America, on the other hand, have elected to wage jihad non-violently and through stealth and deception. Nonetheless, both factions of jihadists share the same exact goal, a world where Islam and Islamic totalitarian society has been made supreme through the imposition of Sharia (Islamic totalitarian law) and a world with all infidels subjugated into Islamic totalitarianism, i.e., harsh and debilitating dhimmitude.

Your naive perception, on the other hand, is that only radicals and extremists, which like in all societies comprise only a tiny minority of the overall population, are terrorists. However, that is a very false analogy of the situation, as waging jihad, which is a holy war waged by ALL MUSLIMS against ALL INFIDELS in the cause of Allah to ultimately make Islam and Islamic totalitarian society supreme throughout the world, is a fundamental holy obligation incumbent upon all Muslims in one form or another, either violently or non-violently, and because Islam, more than anything else, is an extremely draconian form of totalitarianism that seeks world domination, as opposed to being just a so-called religion, all non-conformer are summarily executed for apostasy and blasphemy per the dictates of Sharia, similar to the way that all non-conformers in the old Communist Soviet Union were sent to the Soviet gulags.

Thus, all mainstream orthodox Muslims in the world, as opposed to only a few stray radicals and extremists perpetrating terrorism here and there randomly, are jihadists in one form or another, either violent or non-violent. Otherwise, they are summarily executed for apostasy and blasphemy according to the dictates of Islam.

This is a very important distinction to understand, because terrorism always and only comprises just a few radicals and extremists perpetrating violence, i.e., a tiny minority of the society, while jihad (holy war), on the other hand, involves the entire worldwide Islamic totalitarian community and is waged both violently and non-violently, in stark contrast to terrorism.

As a matter of fact, the worldwide Islamic totalitarian community, i.e., the ummah, is not only waging jihad against the infidels in tiny Israel through their proxy – the so-called Palestinians, but they are also waging jihad against all infidels and all infidel states throughout the world again to ultimately make Islam and Islamic totalitarian society supreme. Indeed, it is war as opposed to just terrorism, and war is a far more substantial issue relative to terrorism.

I started to do some research on sieges and found some interesting information

Here is Wikipedia’s list of sieges, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sieges
Here are some interesting notes on what are considered the most brutal sieges
    http://www.history.com/news/history-lists/7-brutal-sieges
Here are a list of the deadliest sieges: http://listverse.com/2014/01/21/10-of-the-deadliest-sieges-in-history/ One of this list is the siege of Jerusalem in 70 CE.

Of course a siege by Israel is not a politically correct idea in 2014. Nevertheless, the idea may have merit.

  • ObamaYoMoma

Israel for its part is unwilling to make any concessions to Hamas in exchange for its cessation of its criminal terror war that targets innocent civilians in Israel as a matter of course.

Hamas is a proxy of the Islamic totalitarian world and as such it is waging a jihad (holy war) against the infidels in Israel and exactly like is typical whenever Muslims wage jihad throughout the world against all infidels, they employ only “total war” tactics.

Muslims are not terrorists, who consist of only a tiny minority of radicals and extremists as in all societies. Instead, they are jihadists, i.e., mujahideen (holy warriors), as jihad involves the entire Islamic totalitarian community instead of just a few stray radicals and extremists Muslims here and there randomly perpetrating terrorism. In other words, her perception of Hamas and so-called Palestinian society is severely tainted.

Those allegations caused then US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice to effectively end US support for Israel’s war effort.

One of the worse secretaries of states ever in one of the worse administrations ever. Of course, clueless Republicans will take offense with this statement, but nonetheless demonstrate that they are utterly clueless at the same time. Indeed, this is one of the ways in which the RINO Republican Party, i.e., the neo-Dhimmicrat Party, left me. I didn’t leave it.

I’m afraid Abbas isn’t suicidal, as the only agreement that Abbas can make with infidels is a Hudna, which is a kind of temporary truce designed to be broken at some point in the future whenever the Muslims determine the time is right.

According to Islam, the only peace that can exist between Muslims and infidels comes only after Islam and Islamic totalitarian society have been made supreme via the imposition of Sharia (Islamic totalitarian law) and only after the infidels have been subjugated into Islamic totalitarianism, i.e., rendered into harsh and debilitating dhimmitude. Otherwise perpetual jihad must continue.

There is no diplomatic solution for Israel or, for that matter, any other infidel states throughout the world, as besides only the infidels in Israel, the Islamic totalitarian world is also waging jihad against all infidels and all infidel states throughout the world. Hence, the only available solution will require the collective action of the entire infidel world acting in cooperation together as one to end the perpetual global jihad at large.

Beyond that, Abbas has ruled the PA for the past decade. Throughout this period, he consistently demonstrated through deed and word that he will never, ever sign a peace treaty with Israel.

Again, Muslims can only make Hudnas with infidels. Thus, if Abbas signs any kind of peace agreement with Israel, it will be an agreement in the same vein as when Arafat signed the Oslo Peace Accords, which allowed him to return from exile in Tunisia to the disputed territories in Israel to head up the PA.

Indeed, immediately upon signing the Oslo Peace Accords, Arafat went on a whirlwind tour of the Islamic totalitarian world to let them know in no uncertain terms that he had signed the deal only in the spirit of Muhammad’s infamous Treaty of Hudaibiya in the case some Muslims got a wild hair up their behinds and decided to execute him. In other words, it was a Hudna that he used to get his foot in the door inside Israel and that he never intended to fulfill.

If Abbas aspires to end up like Anwar Sadat, i.e., assassinated, then he should sign a permanent peace deal with Israel. However, Abbas hasn’t shown any signs of being suicidal.

It is inexcusably irresponsible for would-be national leaders to maintain faith with it.

In other words, it’s beyond stupid. Indeed, it’s John Kerry stupid! And that’s pretty damn stupid.

The main reason that Hamas began the current war is because the terror group is in distress.

A very wrong view of jihad (holy war), which also explains why she often arrives as wrong conclusions.

Add to the mix the response of a public angry at Hamas for forcing it to serve as human shields for missiles and terror masters who were unable to bring home the bacon

Another error in her fantasy based view of Islam. Muslims aren’t forced to serve as human shields, they are obligated as it is a form of jihad. Indeed, all Muslims in the world are jihadists in one form or another, and serving as human shields is one of the many ways Muslims engage in jihad.

Again, Jihad as opposed to terrorism involves the entire Islamic totalitarian community as opposed to just a few stray radicals and extremists randomly perpetrating terrorism here and there.

All these errors in perception eventually add up to false and fantasy based conclusions most of the time. Her conclusion in this specific case is obvious.

  • Gee

There has only been one way to negotiate with terrorists that has ever worked.

Talk to them until you get into position to kill them.

They are war criminals and that is all there is too it.

  • Bert

I love Caroline Glick but am in disagreement because secular thinking can never permanently and completely solve this problem. Consider this alternative: Declare that Gaza is part of Israel and all Gazans are illegal settlers. Cut all water, food and electricity. Announce that Gazans have two weeks to completely evacuate to a temporary staging area in Sinai. Announce that after two weeks Israel will carpet bomb Gaza into rubble. Israel announces that the governments and NGO’s that supported the Palestinians must now accept their share of Gazans into their countries. Any Gazans remaining in Gaza will die but the onus will be on the West and the Muslim countries. They will have rejected a humane solution to liberate all Gazans and offer them a peaceful new life elsewhere. Anyone got a better idea?

    • ObamaYoMoma

Since the sole fundamental purpose of mainstream orthodox Islam is to subjugate all infidels and all religions into Islamic totalitarianism, i.e., harsh and debilitating dhimmitude, through both violent and non-violent stealth and deceptive jihad and the eventual imposition of Sharia (Islamic totalitarian law) to ultimately make Islam and Islamic totalitarian society supreme throughout the world, there is no peace possible between Israel and the Islamic totalitarian world.

For there to be peace between Israel and the Islamic totalitarian world, Israel would have to be capable of ending the worldwide global jihad at large that the Islamic totalitarian world is waging against all infidels and all infidel states throughout the world all by itself and alone, and that is a task I’m afraid just too enormous for tiny Israel to accomplish all alone and by itself.

Thus, even your proposed solution would not work to end the jihad being waged perpetually against Israel, as the Islamic totalitarian world would simply reconstitute and refortify their jihad. They would also take advantage of the worldwide outrage and condemnation that is sure to come Israel’s way because of such dramatic actions to further weaken, if not destroy Israel.

  • ObamaYoMoma

Actually, all we need to do to defeat the collective Islamic totalitarian world is force Pakistan one way or another to hand over its humongous nuclear weapons arsenal or be destroyed. We must also do the same thing with respect to Iran’s nuclear weapons program. As those two issues are two of the greatest threats emanating from the Islamic totalitarian world.

The greatest threat by far, however, which is mass Muslim immigration with all of its excess baggage, and which is really non-violent stealth and deceptive jihad for the nefarious purposes of mass Muslim infiltration of our societies and for eventual demographic conquest, must be banned and reversed ASAP.

The final step in the process is for the collective infidel world to totally isolate the collective Islamic totalitarian world.

Since Islamic totalitarian society is a parasitic society incapable of producing anything of value, without access to infidels to leach off, in time Islamic totalitarian society will fall into total abject poverty, and once that reality inevitably happens, then after a few generations Islam will inevitably become discredited in that society. Then once Islam has become totally discredited throughout that society, at that point, but not sooner, that society would then be ready to rejoin the rest of civilized society.

  • Mike Nelson

IMO Israel needs to threaten something the Hamas holds dear, Israel needs to state that if the misslies do not stop they will Raze the Two Mosques to the ground and they will never be rebuilt. Then If the Missiles don’t stop drop 2000lb gbu 15′s on every mosque in the gaza strip have the IDF target every Imam in Gaza and kill every Hamas and Islamic Jihad leader in Gaza target their homes give them no warning if they use human shields then their are more martyrs in Gaza.

This may sound cold but this is the only way to deal with militant Isam is b overwhelming force and no mercy.

  • DontMessWithAmerica

I didn’t have the patience to finish reading this overly long examination of a complex situation. There is a more realistic and simplified way to approach this. Reduce it to home invasion and here it isn’t as serious because home invaders mainly want to rob you not to exterminate you. Now if you have arms and they invade your home you are not going to worry about what your neighbors will think about how you defend yourself. You shoot to kill. Make sure you kill because if you just wound them – with the precedent of several insane court cases in which robbers out of jail have sued home owners for having crippled them and won – you could lose your home. So you kill them in self defense. Israel and Hamas are in a similar situation. Israel can’t negotiate with madmen whose lives are devoted to killing Jews. Israel must eliminate them in one fast swell swoop before the lefties in the rest of the world can start interfering. Once it is done, there will be screaming here and there but the rest of the Arab world will be happy and Israel will have peace.

You call it genocide, I call it what it is, warfare. There are no ethics or morality where islam is concerned for they have none for us. • Guano Genesis

Israel needs to distribute fake photos and movies of Palestinians killing their own children and bombing their own mosques – hey wait a minute, the Muslims already really do that! Maybe the Israelis should just broadcast 24/7 video of atrocities committed by muslims against other muslims, plus throw in a few of them murdering westerners, raping and murdering nuns and priests while muslim leaders boast about their responsibility. Let the Europeans suck on that. Since Muslims kill a thousand muslims for every one killed by Israel, what is the problem with Israel taking military action again?

Israel’s biggest enemy is the liberal world media – the gullible jackasses who report Palestinian propaganda staged to pull naive heartstrings. Fear of world opinion is what keeps Israel from doing the only thing that promises them longer term peace – to eradicate Hamas capacity and will to lob another missile. A premature ceasefire is the worst thing that can happen to Israel.

  • Cristinascar

Israel has only one enemy the UN, and the media who lie far worse than any wrong in history, no one is getting even half of the truth on the conflicts of the middle east, and military intelligence are a group of sicko liars in the middle east. No one has ever or will ever get treated with such evil lying than the UN and the whole media has done to Israel.

The whole narative for the middle east is a lie, it really is I am not crazy. “Plalestine” was in fact Ottoman Syria, part of the Ottoman Caliphate, why can’t the media say that it is true, say what we are dealing with. The refugees come at a time when the world had 100 million or more refugees, and every other one migrated and moved on with their lives. Ottoman Syria had changing demographics throughout its history. For example the Muslim – Christian wars of 1840 and 1860 on Ottoman Syria including today’s Galilee, killed over 100,000 people, it is sometimes referred to as the Maronite Druze wars, because anything within the Ottoman Empire and trust me any wrong done by Turks or Arabs (the chosen people of the Koran, will disappear, that is a fact you can not even find a crime done by the Ottoman Caliphate in any history book on earth), Also if you find that I just wrote the truth that over 100,000 were killed in a racist ethnic war on Ottoman Syria in the 1860s in ten years more than the whole of the Arab Israeli racist colonialist Muslim conflict, wouldn’t that say something to the antisemitism we are dealing with? Because they routinely say a country which never existed was a peaceful place!!!! Think about that one?

    • Guest2014

How can Ottomans or Turks do any wrong, even when they commit genocide they are bound to be righteous about it. This is going to be their attitude in general, in the past as in modern Turkey: here is the oath that students take every morning; would they admit to a mistake if they were led to believe every word?

“In accordance with the direction of the Board of Education and Edification, the Ministry of National Education issued the circular number 1749/42 and dated May 18, 1933 about the “Student Pledge”. Students must repeat the oath each day.

I am Turkish, honest and hardworking. My principle is to protect the younger to respect the elder, to love my homeland and my nation more than myself. My ideal is to rise, to progress.

Oh Great Atatürk ! On the path that you have paved, I swear to walk incessantly toward the aims that you have set.

My existence shall be dedicated to the Turkish existence. How happy is the one who says ‘I am Turkish !’.”

        • Guest2014

Wikipedia writes the student oath was edited in 1972, 1997 and then annulled in 2013. Turkey has declared a three day mourning for Gaza, which means, following the abolition of the practice of reciting the student oath first thing every morning, they are these days pledging themselves directly to Hamas, not even exchanging Mohamed for Ataturk.

    Is it inevitable that
the Left will cry out because Israel is defending itself? No.
Let every reasonable person in the West know that just like the tunnels
Hamas dug in the earth with soil and cement, they are in business for digging
tunnels in the social fabric of Western society and the minds of its peoples. How many of them lived in a country dominated
by Muslims? How many have their children
    attend schools regulated by Islamists?
If the answer to these questions were ‘yes’, they would be supporting
Israel. Why? Because, they would have known that children
are taught in schools that it is alright to cheat in exams as long as one is
not caught or that it is alright for men to commit adultery as long as they are
not found out. Just like the physical
tunnels, there are networks connecting women, who meet weekly to talk about
marriage issues and prescribe amulets and other ‘solutions’ for a wide range of
    problems, including infertility and infidelity;
if they had known that a solution for infidelity is rubbing pig’s fat on
the competition’s door post, would they still be crying against Israel? There is not any information in the media
about the tunnels, physical or otherwise, unfortunately, but a plethora of
    stories written in Hemingway’s now old fashioned short story journalistic style;
even in the Telegraph of London one gets suggestive dialogue pieces about Gaza
and there is silence about the plight of Israel and Israelis. The West needs to be informed more and wake
up to the fact that they are supporting something they know almost nothing
    about.

  • DogmaelJones1

Israel should eradicate Hamas in Gaza permanently, kill all the leadership (no warning phone calls) even if that means taking out their families, and end the terror. And once eradicated, Israel should twist its heels on the remains just to make sure Hamas is deader than doorknobs. Palestinian “civilians”? I frankly don’t care about them. Their kids are raised to hate Jews and Israel. Tough. Muslims don’t mind killing Israeli kids, so reciprocate. Gaza and Hamas are the initiators of force against Israel, and counting on Israel being sensitive to “world opinion.” Screw world opinion. It isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.

  • Lanna

There is no way Israel should show restraint to defend itself….Never listen to John Kerry or the President. Weakness would benefit Hamas!

  • DrLarry

There is only one way to win a war, that is to render your enemy incapable of continuing to fight. Additionally you owe it to your fighting force to pursue it in a way that is the least threat to them.

  • Abdur Razzaq bin Mohamed Ali

Subhan-Allaah, I read the entire article with great anticipation that the author will provide a possible solution to end the violence and a win-win situation to Isreal and Palestine, but got disappointed. WHAT IS THE WIN WIN SOLUTION GUYS ???

The rest of dumb blind commenters went to other extreme of suggesting a method which is not a real solution, I mean 1 guy wrote to destroy the mosque, one wrote to kill all mothers, 1 to nuke, 1 to kill all in Palestine, i mean seriously these people are so dumb that they even fail to know what this is being taking place and it will never be peace for Isreal till it leaves is “YOUR HOME IS MINE, AND YOUR WEALTH IS MINE”, a robber cannot occupy your home and if you ask him to leave he does take gun against you.

The author is talking about the political game and who has now has the upper hand, but what will tomorrow be is totally blind on it.

    Here is my solution….

    1. Peace loving jews who wants their home and wealth can remain in Israel, under the Muslim ruler who is just.

    2. Zionist, who wants to take more land, can pack their bag and re-occupy Germany or European country, if they are turned down than let them go to Country of Free USA, and see if they accept them.

    Thats it..

    • Cristinascar

Is any idea you have not directly stolen from Jews and people for Israel?

      • Abdur Razzaq bin Mohamed Ali

No…This is not a stolen Idea from jews, Palestine Muslim are not occupying Isreal and nor are they systematically involved in genocide of Isreal, this is my own honest thought for the sake Allaah and for the benefit of Isreal (Zionist) and the people of jews who want to remain in their motherland. I know most of you will turn your blind eye to the suffering of these nation. But the onus is now on the Europe, who threw away the jews, chartered a secret deal (wiht the UN) to give them their holy land (not sure what makes them their holy land, when the Torah itself has condemned the jews and said that they will be thrown out at every place of the earth like the wanderers), so their destiny is no place in the earth. Europe did not want them, UK did not want them, US don’t want them, the only human (that they call Animal now is the ARAB Palestine) who sheltered them and gave them the authority to even rule them (for a brief period), but they failed in both as a good guest and also as a good nation. All they have is the support of the people who don’t want them, and hence they know the only way to survive is to keep killing their host and not to fight back to the people who threw them. What a joke.

So with due honesty, i like the Yahood to be under the protection of Muslim, and Zionist to go and take back their land grabbing and nuke and to experiment on the Europe, UK or US. That a fair win-win situation, isn’t?

Hence, my wish is that the sensible people of world guide them and tell them that they are not welcomed (Zionist), and let the jews prosper in the land of Allaah (Earth). But not by killing and grabbing others wealth. They should larn from their mistakes of the past. This region is of too much stake, and their destruction of the Muslim and even dream of nuking the entire Muslim holds not water. Allaah wrath is upon them the moments they disobeyed Musa (Moses peace be upon them), they are cursed in this earth (except those who surrender to Allaah and his deen), they are a lesson to all of us. After all who in the earth is a person who pits on the plates that feeds them. Subhan-Allaah.

I have seen many such comments in different blogs on how to destroy the entire Muslim, in fact i ask you to invent something that will destrou the entire Muslim people from the planet, and also make the Quraan and other Islamic teaching burned down to the last bit (nowadays the messages are IT enabled). BUT WHAT AFTER THAT, the day when no Muslim or Islamic teachings are to be found in the earth, what will happen to this world, Allaah knows, but one is for sure, no one will be at peace after that too. Zionist will fight the Christians and pagans. There will not be any end to their filthy thinking of looting and massacring. But, what will happen is their will be another Nation come that will uphold the same Islamic teaching, and will again ask them to submit to 1 God and live and rule by Allaah command. This is what i am eluding to, there is no escape, their is no shortcut, there is no other way. I urge the UN, US, UK, Europe, German whoever are behind for their sorry faith to come forward and make the past right, take them home back, and give them comfort (your land and wealth), the other jews who believe in 1 God, can remain in Palestain forever in peace.

I don’t see any other way for them, except what I have advised above. This is the wise advice I feel for my fellow Abrahamic followers.

My suggestion looks precy, but its not, it a particle solution with a good intention. If they build a land and be obedient in the new land and do not create the same type of atrocities, they will really be a good people to follow. I will too love them. But i know they (Zionist) are not. We all know that. Except that some admits it some don’t. But whatever happens tomorrow in Gaza or the rest of the world is not what I am looking to. The destiny of all humankind is already written down, its only when it will happen is what we are waiting for. I hope this advice is recorded and in the future then the entire world becomes the worshipers or 1 God, and knows that they are the son and daughter of Adam & Eve, and in that they are 1 Nation who sumit to this 1 God (as muslims), then will only the peace previal. Insha-Allaah, till then there is no peace i see in my sight.

This is what you get reminded then, stop watching movies, looks at the real time movies of humans dieing each day in Palestine, Isreal, etc. there are plenty of such movies in web. For once, think about the people of this part of the world. I am worried about my fellow human beings, he may be Devout Muslim caught under this act of a Devout Jew bundled with the Zionist. You cannot rule a society with the weapon and nuke, you have to rule them with justice. Where is the justice in this place now?

You completely missed my point. As an infidel, I would sooner trust a rabid communist army than the reassurances of a pack of Jihadi conquerors.

I will not bow before you.

          • Cristinascar

He wants you to watch videosm to get you to hate Jews all day like the Muslim world does, without any knowledge of real death counts, in all wars, he is referring to making us a dictatorship, and a happy -to -be one

          • Abdur Razzaq bin Mohamed Ali
          • Abdur Razzaq bin Mohamed Ali

You too completely misunderstood, none of the Muslim will ever want you to bow down to them, if you still do they will call you a Kaffir or a Mushrik, as this tantamount to worshiping a human, which has not place in Islam.

I am not a Jihadi here, as a real Jihadi are busy doing something else, if i get a chance i will kill myslef these jihadi and defend you all (non-Muslim) from such Jihadis, who dont do jihad as per Islamic rules.

        • Drakken

Your a goddamn muslim who only cares about your fellow sub human savages, your hypocrisy knows no bounds, that is how you ragheads rule, by the strong man or mullah. So take your Islamic justice and shove it where the sun don’t shine.

          • Abdur Razzaq bin Mohamed Ali

wow…are you Drunk Mr. Drakken, i believe you are a student of Biology, and hence you are very bad in english language, but good at to know where a-holes in your body part that can be shoved and that don’t shine. :-)

Coming back, i don’t wants to be rude like you, i don’t understand what you want to do, to discuss issues like a human or go to operation theater and do a wrong operation.

            Decide then we will talk?

    • Drakken

Your solutions are a no brainer, not only no, but h*ll no! Time for you ragheads to get what you deserve, complete destruction. No more muslims = no more problems.

      • Abdur Razzaq bin Mohamed Ali

Not possible, we are going to here till you and your next complete generation, Insha-Allaah. the only concern here is when? When you will submit to ONE god, and obey his command and stop defending Zionist.

  • Cristinascar

Abdur didn’t read anything, Abdur stole his idea (and antijewish propoganda which is his life) of using an American flag, from a pro-Israeli commenter. Abdur got to this page by following the pro-Israeli commenters he follows around and harasses like a gang thug. Excuse me the gang thugs are like him, they are the original evil.

  • Per Ardua

“… Israel doesn’t have to reconquer Gaza to destroy Hamas. We just have to humiliate Hamas and knock out capabilities like the tunnel networks that immediately threaten us. And then let the Gazans fight it out.”
When Hamas has been thoroughly “knocked out,” whatever remnants might then exist in Gaza will gather half a million Gazans in a rally and declare victory in “The Mother of all Gazan Wars,” and we will have the same story over again with plentiful Western funding, viler BBC propaganda and more modern US weaponry.

  • Drakken

The more dead muslims the better, you and the rest of the Islamic blight upon humanity are going to find out in very short order that us infidels have run out of sympathy and empathy for you bloody savages.

    • ddearborn

      Hmmm

You do realize that my original post merely substituted Judaism and Jews in the comment made by Hktony. It was a simple illustration of the rancid racist and bigoted anti-Muslim rhetoric on display in the comments here. I noticed that even though my comment was the first made after his, it has conveniently been forced way down the page. Which naturally puts my comments out of their intended context. Though I am quite sure all of that went right over your head.
As to your inference that I am Muslim; so sorry to disappoint you, I was born a Christian. Obviously you were not. “the more dead Muslims the better” really? that is the best you can come up with. I guess you can’t articulate your racism, bigotry and hatred much more succinctly than that. Did you come with that all by yourself Drakken? Your parents must be so proud.

Re: “Enough is enough, you will have to read the history and see what has been going wrong, if you can’t then be please be silent.”

Excellent point. But the history you’re looking at goes back more than 70 years, and began with the Philistine invasion, from whose name Palestine was derived, and took place thousands of years before Islam was created.

And even if we go back just a 100 years, who were the Palestinians? The 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica states, “early in the 20th century a list of no less than fifty languages were spoken in Jerusalem.” It describes two classes of population, the “nomadic” and the “sedentary.” The Arab population was composed mostly of Bedouins, described as “wanderers.” In Jerusalem and other cities, besides Muslims, the population of Palestine, as a trading center, was composed of Ottoman Turks, Egyptians, Armenians, Greeks, and Italians. There was an “extraordinary redevelopment of Jewish life” since 1870. There were also Persians, Afghans, Kurds, German “templar” colonies, and Bosnian colonies. There was a large population from Sudan and Algeria. Over a third of the population of Palestine were Christians and Jews. That did not include the visitors from around the globe. And there was obviously no people called “Palestinians,” as the Palestinians were also Jews and Christians.

And you no doubt read the Bible, which describes the patriarchs, the exodus from Egypt, and Covenant with G_d, the conquest of Palestine by the Israelite tribes, the monarchy, the rival kingdoms, the fall and exile of the tribes, and the reconstructions of Judah in the times of Cyrus.

The great misunderstanding today is that “Zionism” is not a colonization of a foreign land, but is a “Restoration” and “reestablishment” of a former Homeland of the Jewish people, going back over 4,000 years. Today, the Arabs in Israel have the most freedom than the entire Arab history. Peace might be possible when the Muslim world says “Welcome Home, “Children of Israel.” Let’s rebuild a civilization together.”

Both Hoover and WilsonK made speeches mentioning the desolation of southern Ottoman Syria. Every word that rained propogandist Jihadi has said is standard trained response. I have seen Hamas and other Muslim propoganda videos training them, and the American flag thing he stole from a Jewish commentor. Even his style of writing is stolen from a pro-Israel commenter. These people have no brainse just an antisemitic social media conspiracy, and stolen idea.

      • Abdur Razzaq bin Mohamed Ali

Good let’s go back before 2000 BC (to the Canaan) and see who were the dwellers of this place http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/History/hebcanaan.html or let’s go back more and do your research who were dwelling in this place and you keep on going till you see that this place was empty, and then you search back to where the first humans came to this place, and then keep going back till you reach our great great grandparents Adam and Eve (Peace be upon them), and then don’t stop go back where they came from, and who created it, and then ask the one who Created it, why have you made this Zionist like a nomads and why they were kicked out at every turn of the century like a football, and they are never in peace. See what the religious scripture has to say.

The point here is not who were the original owner of this land, this land is not your fathers or mothers or jews, this land belongs to the 1 God who created, and the people who worship him are the deserved owner of it, the jews some do it and hence they can stay, the Zionist does not believe in this god and only believe in land and killing, so they can be thrown out.

Opps i realised that I too was rude looking at your stupid historical nonsense proof of whom that land belongs, if you want to go to the religious scripture, then too it belongs to the first son Ismail of Abraham (Ibrahim peace be upon him), and not his second son, Isaac. Quoting from a fatwa of Muslims…

The Qur’an addresses the children of Israel as the people who were descendant of Jacob, son of Isaac, and the grand son of Ibrahim. Israel is another name of Jacob. Jacob was a Muslim, the Qur’an says, (…and so did Jacob, ‘Oh my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the Faith of Islam.’ Were ye witnesses when death appeared before Jacob? Behold, he said to his sons: ‘What will ye worship after me?’ They said: ‘We shall worship Thy god and the god of thy fathers, of Abraham, Isma’il and Isaac, the one (True) God: To Him we bow (in Islam).’) (Al-Baqarah 2:132-33)

        2. Allah has never chosen any people because of any racial or ethnical entity but he chose certain people because of Islam.

        3. Children of Israel, when they followed Islam, they were the best nation; they were Muslims but others were Mushriks or Kafirs.

        4. The Holy Land is blessed because of being the place of Allah’s Messengers and His Message. Descendants of Jacob, among whom are Moses, David, Solomon and `Isa (Jesus) who are holy prophets, so they can fit the Holy Land.

        5. The Qur’an addressed earlier the followers of Moses to liberate the Holy Land, they were afraid to get into the Holy Land and they made an excuse for not restoring that land because they believed that the Canaanites are too strong to defeat. They mocked Moses and rebelled his request, the story is detailed in suratal-Ma’idah, 21-26.

        6. The Holy Land is always the land assigned for the servants of Allah who surrender everything to him.

        7. The occupation of the Holy Land is due to Muslims’ lapsing in weakness and deviating from Allah’s teachings. The occupation of the Jews to the Holy Land is something casual. The Holy Land is waiting for the time when there will be holy people who strictly abide by Allah’s teachings to deserve it.

Focusing more on the Jews’ claim to Palestine as their promised land, we would like to cite for you the following fatwa issued by the prominent Muslim scholarSheikh `Atiyyah Saqr, former Head of Al-Azhar Fatwa Committee:

Twenty centuries before the birth of the Christ, there lived on the shores of the Euphrates a tribe from the descendants of Ibrahim (Abraham) searching for rich places to graze their flocks; they went westwards till they crossed Galilee. They were given the name of the Hebrews, now known as the Jews. They moved aimlessly without having a certain destination until they arrived Egypt where they lived in peace and security for five centuries.

The rulers of Egypt, known as the Pharaohs, kept a tight fist on the Jews and humiliated them. The rescue of the Jews was attained when Moses (peace and blessings be upon him) was sent to them. He led them through Sinai to a new land and a fresh dwelling. For some time, they stayed in Sinai till commands were given to them to enter the Holy Land of Palestine. In Palestine, there was a tribe called Canaanite who built some cities part of which is Jerusalem. Days went on till the Jews revolted against the teachings of Allah and deviated from His religion. Almighty Allah sent to them the governor of Babel, Buchtnasser who humiliated them and enslaved many of them.

Many years later, they returned back to Palestine and some of them went to dwell in the Arabian Peninsula. The Jews in the Arabian Peninsula showed enmity to Islam and fought the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) till they were driven out from the peninsula by Muslims.

Though, seizing the chance of Muslims’ lapsing in weakness and deviating from Allah’s teachings, the Jews have occupied Palestine, they will never remain there forever, for the evil within themselves is beyond description. They will suffer another defeat and sever blow; we hope this will be at the hands of Muslims once they return back to their Lord and be unified again. Allah says in this regard, (And when your Lord announced that He would certainly send against them to the day of resurrection those who would subject them to severe torment; most surely your Lord is quick to requite (evil) and most surely He is Forgiving, Merciful.)(Al-A`raf 7:167)

As for claiming that the Jews have a right to take Palestine as their promised land, we will say that the verse that reads, (Go into the holy land which Allah hath ordained for you.) (Al-Ma`idah 5:21) means that the promise stands so long as the people given this promise abide by Allah’s teachings. Once they show disobedience, the promise no longer exists. In addition, this promise is not an absolute one; rather, it is confined to a certain period of time. Now, the promise is no more valid, for Almighty Allah says, (We have written in the Scripture, after the Reminder: My righteous slaves will inherit the earth.) (Al-Anbiya’ 21:105)

Mark Twain’s observations during his visit in the late 1800s:

“The population of Jerusalem is composed of Moslems, Jews, Greeks, Latins, Armenians, Syrians, Copts, Abyssinians, Greek Catholics, and a handful of Protestants. One hundred of the latter sect are all that dwell now in this birthplace of Christianity. The nice shades of nationality comprised in the above list, and the languages spoken by them, are altogether too numerous to mention. It seems to me that all the races and colors and tongues of the earth must be represented among the fourteen thousand souls.”

    . . . .

“Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes. Over it broods the spell of a curse that has withered its fields and fettered its energies. Where Sodom and Gomorrah reared their domes and towers, that solemn sea now floods the plain, in whose bitter waters no living thing exists–over whose waveless surface the blistering air hangs motionless and dead– about whose borders nothing grows but weeds, and scattering tufts of cane, and that treacherous fruit that promises refreshment to parching lips, but turns to ashes at the touch.”

Let’s face reality, the return home, after 2,000 years, of the Children if Israel has helped restore that mighty place. Let’s hope Islam doesn’t bomb it.

    • Abdur Razzaq bin Mohamed Ali

Islam does not need to bomb its own sacred place, Israel are doing it day in day out…may be you are blind, you must visit the places where Muslims has build Architecturally advanced places across the world…nevertheless stay in the topic, its not a 2000 years old history its the history from the day Allaah has made this earth belong to the his slaves…that includes jews who are worshipers of one God and not the Zionist who are worshipers of land and wealth.
