The Left’s War Against Justice and Peace

Outrage In Missouri Town After Police Shooting Of 18-Yr-Old ManWhen rioters and “protesters” defend criminals and attack the police it is not a protest. It is an attack. When radicals and rioters defend the guilty and attempt to prosecute the innocent, it is not a protest. It is an attack. When they make race an issue when it is clearly not an issue, it is an attack. When whites are regarded as guilty before the fact and blacks guiltless even after the facts show they are guilty, it is not a protest; it is an attack. It is a calculated attack and the target is America, is us.

“No Justice, No Peace!” is the cry of modern lynch mobs. It means “Our Justice, Or Else” – or else we will burn your city down. Or else we will burn your system down. This is the agenda of the left in the streets and of their supporters in the White House and the Democratic Party:

“We are going to fundamentally transform the United States of America: your system of justice, your system of governance and your system of laws. If we can’t do that, we are going to burn it down.”

Conservatives need to stop dropping their jaws when progressives say “My mind is made up don’t confuse me with the facts” – and mean it. Conservatives need to recognize that the only facts that matter to progressives are the ones that justify their attacks. The mobs who have occupied our streets are not protesting injustice. They are a lynch mob demanding their due. They want officers of the law handcuffed and hung, and criminals (aka “political prisoners”) set free. They want honest juries disbanded, and racist judgments the rule.

Understand that our president and his chief civil rights officer, who are encouraging the “protests,” are racists, as is the Democratic Party which exerts monopoly control over every major inner city in America. Why else would Obama and Holder look to Al Sharpton, who is certainly the nation’s most prominent racist, as their chief adviser on race relations?

Al Sharpton is author of the fundamental transformation of the civil rights movement into a racial lynch mob, which took place decades ago. It probably began with the teenager Tawana Brawley, who accused white cops of raping her because she was afraid of being beaten by her mother when she failed to come home. Sharpton led the charge, whose self-appointed posses ruined these officers’ careers and lives. The progressive phrase of the day was: “Even if Tawana Brawley was lying, she was telling the truth.” (Because white men regularly raped black women – a bigger lie than Brawley’s own tall tale.)

Sharpton has made his career as a slanderer of whites in too many cases to list. Think only of the innocent Duke LaCrosse players whose careers and reputations he and his minions destroyed for a year while defending their criminal accuser who was black. Think of Paula Deen, who voted for Obama and gave millions of her self-made fortune to poor black children, but was falsely and successfully framed as a racist by Sharpton and Co., until her multi-million dollar empire lay in ruins. Nor are apologies ever necessary for black lynchers like Sharpton. There are probably more cases like this of whites who have been destroyed by black racists than there are of blacks being shot for being black by law enforcement officers. And there are surely a lot more cases of blacks being shot for being black by other blacks.

The trigger of the current progressive assault, which has inspired mobs in over 100 American cities, is the Eric Garner case in New York. Many conservatives eager to be reasonable have suggested that the racial arsonists may have a point. Actually they don’t. Most conservatives realize that the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” slogan, which pretends that the Ferguson criminal, Michael Brown, was innocent and the white police officer Darren Wilson guilty is false. But the Eric Garner slogan “I Can’t Breathe,” which suggests Garner was choked to death because he was black, is equally a lie. Garner wasn’t choked to death, and he didn’t die because of the color of his skin.

The police sergeant on the scene directing the arrest was an African-American woman. Garner was not choked or strangled to death. He died in the ambulance from a heart attack, a consequence of his morbid obesity, asthma, heart disease, diabetes and resisting arrest.

The demonstrations are Orwellian, fueled by made up facts and deliberate disregard of the facts. But they have already inspired a racist Attorney General to send the Feds in to punish law enforcement and handcuff the police. Never let a travesty go to waste. The federal reforms proposed by Holder, if implemented, will cause a lot more African Americans to die in the high crime areas of the city as similar measures have in the past. And this will continue until conservatives begin calling things by their right names; that would mean fighting fire with fire.

I once heard Thomas Sowell make the comment that the biggest deficiency in the worldview of most conservatives was an inability to grasp the existence of evil.
Sowell thought that many conservatives couldn’t bring themselves to admit that we’re not all Americans or we’re NOT all in this together.
He made that comment right before Obama came into office. I think his perspective has been validated beyond a doubt.
Mr. Horowitz seems to be trumpeting that same theme.
And I would like to suggest something about the influence Horowitz has had on Rush Limbaugh.
In my opinion, Limbaugh has been a somewhat pedestrian commentator on current events over the years. He’s intelligent and correct on many issues but lacks depth. He’s somewhat superficial and does not have a broad perspective on philosophical or theological issues which underpin the political debate.
But Limbaugh did publicly say that David Horowitz changed his perspective and that he developed a new appreciation for the degree of premeditation and malice toward America that the Left employs. In short, Rush stopped viewing liberals as incompetent and began to view them as evil.
I would like to relate something Limbaugh said just the other day which displays the influence Horowitz has had on him.
Rush came right out and said that Boehner’s immigration bill was a sham and that many REPS really do not want to prevent illegal immigration…….they just want to pretend they oppose it. He went on to say that Boehner and McConnell were corrupt lackeys willing to destroy the country at the request of the Chamber of Commerce and other big business interests.
    WOW!!!
The old Rush would have never said something like that. Criticizing RINOS and slamming big business were unthinkable for Limbaugh in his previous life. Rush is becoming an America Firster.
Someone might want to ask Rush about this, but I think Mr. Horowitz and FrontPage are responsible for this transformation.

      Agree with everything you wrote.

    • Bamaguje

      Of course libs are evil.
How else does one explain their anarchist penchant of putting the interests of criminals above that of law abiding citizens and law enforcement agents?

Even after it’s been unequivocally proven that the thug Michael Brown was shot in self defense after assaulting a police officer, Libs persist with the blatant falsehood that it was an unprovoked racist attack on an “unarmed Black teenager.”

They started with Miranda rights for criminals, now they want to give Jihadi terrorists a pass as they hypocritically whine about “torture.”
The lives of Americans that have been saved by enhanced interrogation are irrelevant to those who want to destroy America.

    • marlene

I don’t agree with everything you wrote.

      • You Make No Point

        So what?

    • SoCalMike

Once you realize people are lying, it changes the dynamic completely.
Recently Dr. Sowell and Rush both expressed the sense of this.

Americans tend to project ourselves onto others.
Republicans project their sense of fairness onto Dems who project their own petty control freak impulses and sordid motivations onto Reps.
It rarely occurs to Reps that Dems are lying; they must be stupid.
How many conservatives still believe Obama is incompetent?

Dems on the other hand are fighting TRUE evil. Not Al Qaida or Islamic Jihad. These groups are merely “victims of injustice and centuries of racism, imperialism and colonialism suffering a lack of educational opportunities and socioeconomic equality. ” Republican and any domestic opposition are the true evil in the world.

The Left did the same thing during the Vietnam War and the end of the Cold War. Selling out and betraying America and the West today is just a continuation of what they started doing 35-40 years ago.

    • Teavangelical

Bravo, Daniel — I have observed the same behavioral changes in Rush. I have listened to and loved the man over the past ten+ years, but have always criticized his lack of painting the big picture on the LEFT’s ambitions, or the fact that there is an AGENDA. I applaud his epiphany, and of course, I applaud David Horowitz’s honesty and bravery.

    • The March Hare

I have always known Rush has implied the evil goals of the left, but since the left has taken the gloves off and come more out in the open, Rush has been putting it all right out there pulling no punches. If he had done that before he would have been being beat up and smeared a thousand times worse than he has been and would have had difficulties keeping an audience and never gotten out any message at all. As time goes on, the left lets it all hang out which gives Rush the clearance to let them have it. He has always said it is going to get real dirty and nasty before it is all over and we are getting there fast now.

  • johninohio1

There is no reasoning with evil, no compromising with it, no appeasement of it.
It is becoming obvious to more and more conservatives that all out war, in the same manner as Nazism was fought and defeated, is inevitable. However, the difference is that this will occur on North American soil, and will probably result in the partitioning and, therefore, the dismemberment of the US. Ironically, this is exactly what the nihilistic left seeks, and means that ultimately they will be the victors. The whole purpose, apparently, is the weakening of the US to the point where we will no longer be the bulwark of freedom in the world, and the path to a totalitarian world government will be cleared. George Soros, should he live long enough, will probably be the foremost contender for King of the New World Order.

    • BS77

The window smashers, looters and arsonists are NIHILISTS as you say. They care NOTHING about Michael Brown or Mr. Garner…they just want to destroy our society .

Well written. However, it’s the descendants of Rothchilds’ grandsons, the “Five Demons” (appropriately named) , who, after stating they were turning their attention to the USA, also stated “We have bought and paid for every member of congress and now we own America.” nexusnow.info/forum/showthread.php?10738 Read down a bit until you get to the chronology.

If the Left wins, there will never be any civil rights in this nation again. Whites will be murdered by the millions as a form of “reparations” by blacks who have been inculcated with insensate hate for multiple generations. No, not all blacks feel this way, but enough to become the spearhead of the Left’s revolution. All moral people of all races must recognize this evil for what it is. They must also recognize the imminence of this impending evil.

The blacks on the Left were culturally severed from morality, compassion, forgiveness, and human decency for one reason: to provide the Left with sociopathic shock troops for their final lunge for totalitarian power. Up to now, Obama and the Left have followed the Gramscian template for incremental revolution — a silent coup — but even Gramsci recognized that at some point, a brief but violent civil war was necessary to complete the revolution. It appears the Left feels it is time, because they are moving in every way they can to create chaos, out of which they will claim control.

The trigger to the Left’s move may be the huge loss in the last election. They realize the lies aren’t working and they need to close the deal. Or perhaps it is the black nationalists, led by Obama, who see the chance to get revenge on whites — the real impetus behind all talk of reparations. Either way, the Left is picking a fight and they aren’t going to stop. If we don’t want this to progress till it is out of control, we had better unify and fight back on every front.

    • Mickey “the wrench”

“Whites will be murdered by the millions as a form of “reparations” by blacks”. They have pretty much pushed it to the limits. It is more likely that there will be a major backlash and that Democrats, Blacks and Illegals will be hunted in the streets by “Racist Whites” with full sanction of the government.

You seem to believe a civil war is inevitable at this point. I certainly do, and it’s part of the reason why I’m moving from Florida to South Dakota.

  • http://raycaruso.com/ Ray Caruso

Compromise is not possible with those of ill will. That’s why leftists must destroyed, not accommodated.

  • DaCoachK

I really do believe that a civil war is coming. Never has this country been more divided, and this includes the years between 1861 and 1865, when citizens drew arms on fellow citizens. I lay much of this at the feet of Bill Clinton. He ended twelve years of normalcy and, in some ways, reintroduced the Democratic Party to Americans. His lies made the party palpable to many. In the meantime, he brought many radicals and loons into the seat of power. Never has this country been so split. Clinton bears much of the blame for this divide. There are two parties in the country, each the polar opposite of the other. There is no common ground between the two. One party believes in America’s promise, while the other wants to change that promise. One party believes in freedom, while the other believes in government running every facet of your life. One party believes in equal opportunity, while the other believes in equal outcomes dictated by the government. Yes, a shooting war is possible.

    • http://raycaruso.com/ Ray Caruso

And if there is one, conservatives have a good model in the Spanish Civil War. It was a war of attrition in which the conservative side slowly tightened the vise on the progressives until they went scurrying to their ally, Joseph Stalin. He had most of them shot during his next purge.

  • Mickey “the wrench”

How about we have a detachment of Marines handcuff Sharpton, Holder and the Commander Big Cheese and haul them off to prison awaiting trial?

  • Bamaguje

“The federal reforms proposed by Holder, if implemented, will cause a lot
more African Americans to die in the high crime areas of the city as
similar measures have in the past” – Horowitz.

You erroneously assume race hustlers like Holder actually give a damn about saving Black lives as they pretend to.
If they did they’d address the high levels violent crime in Black communities that is at the root of clashes with law enforcement. Libs are only interested in fueling racial discord for political gain… seizing power.

  • marlene

Well said and time it was said. Paragraph 4.

  • hatsylady

So true. Where are the conservative brawlers? I’m sick of polite, timid politicians on the right just accepting the left’s diabolical, twisted view of our country.

  • Mike Miller

South Africa is heading exactly the same way. It’s really ironic, but the current leadership emboldened by and having been sanctioned by Nelson Mandela is emptying out state coffers and enriching themselves beyond belief. However there are those for whom the destruction of our country is not happening fast enough, and have created their own party under one Julius Malema. They managed to garner 7% of the government in the last election from nowhere, fueled by hate, racism and entitlement. Now that they are in parliament they are trying to systematically break down structures that have been in place for years. They seek to drive the white people off their land without compensation, siting entitlement as justification. Like Obama their mantra is “laws are there to be broken.” Go Figure…..

  • tagalog

We must be made to remember that Michael Brown was on his way to college, so of course his conduct is simon pure. And he had his hands up and his back to the officer (kind of a contradictory set of bodily attitudes, but so what). And Eric Garner suffered from a multitude of ailments, so he was to be allowed to act as he pleased even if he broke the law.

And an airsoft gun is not a toy; it’s a pellet gun. Pellets fired from an airgun have the ability to put out one’s eye, and can leave a nasty bruise even if they’re not likely to be deadly.

The people who were shot just happened to be black. They could just as easily have been white.

There is a sense of something like entitlement among thugs, including black thugs; sometimes the arrogance that comes with that posture can be fatal, as it was in these cases.

  • JDsHandsomeSon

I concur with everything in this essay. It is long past time for conservatives, especially conservative public commentators, to stop expressing disbelief and bewilderment at the seeming logical inconsistencies of the left and embrace what is clearly before all our noses: that the left is evil and as diabolical as our rhetoric makes them out to be. It is a waste of time to debate or attempt to “educate” or dissuade the left from their misguided thought processes. It is deliberate and if anything the left themselves know full well what they say is lies. It is time now simply to defeat them and it is time we use all means at our disposal to do so, regardless of how ruthless.

  • Daniel

I want to apologize for re-posting this from another article. But it really has a lot of application to this thread.

The key to understanding current events is to have some knowledge of Russian Nihilism. Russian Nihilism is a tree that produced two branches: Communism and Anarchism. They are both atheist philosophies.

Those urban rebels who love Rand Paul and look like progressives?…….are modern anarchist “libertarians”. Obviously, the “progressives” come from the Communist branch.

Fyodor Dostoevsky is regarded by many as the pre-eminent literary psychologist of Western culture.

“I would like to recommend to all FrontPage readers a novel called, “The Possessed” by Dostoevsky. In some translations it’s titled “Demons”.
Dostoevsky wrote this novel in 1871 as a reaction to the rising tide of Russian Nihilist philosophy that was sweeping the country and which in one generation produced the Communist Bolsheviks of Lenin and Stalin.
Alinsky is a product of the Far Left which has its roots in Communism and Russian Nihilism. These revolutionaries have always declared that the goal of their movement was the destruction of the existing social order so that it could be replaced by a utopian, atheistic collectivism.
In Dostoevsky’s novel, one of the key scenes is the burning of the Shpigulin shipyard by Nihilist arsonists as an organized protest. The shipyard fire spreads over to a local neighborhood and houses catch fire as well.
As the “progressive” aristocrats marvel at the fire and comment on it………the governor of the province(who is a conservative traditionalist) declares:
“The fire is not on the rooftops………but in men’s minds.”
Ferguson is not really about a fire at a car dealership or convenience store. It’s about the self-destructive, suicidal fire that burns at the core of modern Leftism.”

    • Debbie G

Thanks for this reference, Daniel. I found a website where you can read it (and print it) for free:
      http://www.gutenberg.org/files/8117/8117-h/8117-h.htm

      • Daniel

That’s great. And since you’ve come this far Debbie………I’ll take you to the quote that unlocks the mystery of the suicidal, leftist mind.
“If there is no God………then I am god.” Kirilov
That line completely fascinated the great Albert Camus to the point that he wrote his only stage play based on it. Called, of course……”The Possessed”.

        • truebearing

Yes, the genuine existentialists, Dostoevsky and Kierkegaard, fascinated those who turned it into an “ism,” which is precisely what Dostoevsky was warning us about. Camus, Sarte, et al. were all a bunch of Kirilovs, spending their days complaining about their existential despair and trying to summon the courage to finally kill themselves. They all made the same mistake: they took God out of existence, and despair followed.

Nietzsche did the same thing, in his own way, in using Stavrogin as his prototypical ubermensche. He “borrowed” the ideas from Dostoevsky, then promptly perverted them.

          • Daniel

The amazing thing about that novel is that Dostoevsky describes and predicts both Communists and Nazis fifty years before they emerge onto the scene.
He describes the man-god believers(Nazis) AND he details the collectivist totalitarians like Shigalov(Communists).
            Unbelievable.

          • Debbie G

Hey you guys, don’t tell me the ending! LOL

          • truebearing

And then he took the knife and grabbed the heroine….oh sorry. :)

          • truebearing

He was an amazing man. Like David Horowitz, though through different circumstances, he rejected this political evil after having once been part of it. Their enlightenment made prophets of both men. Unfortunately, not enough people in Russia listened to what Dostoevsky was trying to warn them about, and the same is true for Horowitz, where many years of great effort to warn America about the Left fell on too many deaf ears. Now we are living what he tried to prevent.

I don’t know if you’ve read it, but “The Brothers Karamazov” is another great novel by Dostoevsky.

You got me going on this now. I’ll have to pull both books out and read them again. It’s been too many years.

          • Daniel

There are two chapters in the Brothers K that I believe are the most profound ideas I have ever seen in literature.
“Rebellion” is the single most powerful argument ever made against a merciful God(which Dostoevsky later refutes with Father Zosima).
“Legend of the Grand Inquisitor” is probably the greatest chapter in Western literature from a metaphysical standpoint.
Dostoevsky introduces the world to the idea of a “totalitarian” in it.
For ideas…..Dostoevsky is the greatest novelist of all time to me.
But for powerful moral and ethical arguments…..Solzhenitsyn is the best. If you can get a copy of Gulag Archipelago vol. 2………..check out a chapter called “The Ascent”……..it is the Mt. Everest of literature.

          • Daniel

There are two chapters in the Brothers K that are so profound it is almost impossible to believe.
I remember the first time I read the Legend of the Grand Inquisitor……….I thought I was reading something from a transcendent genius from a superior life form.
And the chapter titled Rebellion is the single most powerful indictment against the idea of a merciful God ever written.

          • truebearing

The Grand Inquisitor is truly profound. It is Dostoevsky at his best. I love that novel.

    • truebearing

      Excellent post.

Dostoevsky was a brilliant thinker and student of the human psyche. From Nietzche to Freud, he was, and still is, a huge influence on Western culture. Nietzche’s amoral ubermensch, or “overman” was derived from the central character of The Possessed, Stavrogin. Freud considered Dostoevsky and Shakespeare to be his greatest influences. You are absolutely right about the relevancy of “The Possessed” to what is happening in America today.

At the center of Dostoevsky’s message was that abandonement of morality and the supplanting of belief in God with political utopianisms results in a cultural death spiral. His original title for the book was “Demons,” which is how he saw nihilism, socialism, and the warped, sociopathic people who obsessively seek utopia by killing millions of their fellow citizens to achieve a “successful” revolution. It is exactly what we are seeing today.

      • Daniel

When are your 2 Republican majority governments (in both houses!) going
to join together to convince all Americans that there must be no racial discrimination? And that this party will never support any racial predjudice! Perhaps you could ask Allen West to declare this! Obama and his colleagues will only cause more chaos if they are permitted
to continue with comments such as: “Racism is Deeply Rooted in the USA”.
Such remarks will only encourage more criminality and rioting, especially
amongst young people. These comments are now also very dangerous
for the youth in Europe. As you know, the Islamic riots have been increasing
all over Europe. The Mosques have been recruting many unemployed young
men and teeners for the Jihad. Many are coloured, school drop-outs, and have become very radical as new converts to the Islam.
Obama and his colleagues seem to be at their weakest point now. It is so very
weak and low that he should have to resort to using “colour” as an impulse
to gain support from 1 group of Americans. It seems that this may be one of the last attempts of Obama to gain some support, before he must release both
houses to his rival Republicans….But, in the meantime, how low can he sink!

I’m a retired U.S Marine, and I’ve been in some serious scraps, one with non-English speaking Arabs who were deciding whether to kill me or just use my head for a soccer ball. I also worked the 2012 NATO Summit in Chicago and saw some Police sporting t-shirts that said ‘We get up early to beat the crowds’. I had to put up cheerfully with with some extreme scumbags who are a carbon copy of the scumbag looters who burned down stores and stole everything they could lay their hands on in Ferguson Mo. That’s the job. In Vietnam we killed the bad guys.

    • cree

When cops have reason to arrest you, justly or wrongly, petty or serious (by video/audio backup), it’s really dumb to resist arrest, because one way or the other, you lose. If Garner had not resisted arrest, he would be alive today; booked on the charge but alive.

      • Vinegar Hill

I give you the same reply as did for “Smoking Hamster”.

      • cheeseburger

Cops dread having to get into violent confrontations. They all know that even if they are right, they still have to go through a review board, so they are not inclined to overstep their authority. If this particular officer has a record of being over-aggressive or brutal, it will come out. Cops don’t like to have the public perceive them as the problem instead of the solution. It was stupid of Obama to inject his opinions into the issue, which he did a few times. His job is to run the country, not to stir things up worse, which seems to be the case. He’s a smart guy, but anyone with brains will spot any duplicity on his part.

      • newsel

Probably not: “Garner was not choked or strangled to death. He died in the ambulance from a heart attack, a consequence of his morbid obesity, asthma, heart disease (and) diabetes. The resisting arrest was secondary. Dead man walking.

      • frankstclair

Iffy cal, he was very ill. He may well have died getting out of bed one afternoon.

    • Smoking Hamster

It is no different than if Garner was running from the cops and suffered a heart attack. The cause of death is heart attack caused by resisting arrest caused by committing a crime. He wasn’t choked because he could breath and say “I can’t breath” 13 times. He had no damage to respiratory areas.

He was arrested 30 times in the past. A heart attack was bound to happen sometime…

      • Vinegar Hill

You write “The cause of death is heart attack caused by resisting arrest caused by committing a crime.” Once again you blame the victim.
I repeat, you are shifting the blame onto the deceased. One could add to what I have written by saying that if Pantaleo had listen to Garner regarding his inability to breath then he would not be dead. If the other four officers had intervened he would not be dead.

        • SCREW SOCIALISM

The tragic Eric Garner case is TOTALLY different from the michael brown thug case.

Regressive “progressives” conflate the two cases which are totally different.

I have sympathy for Eric Garner.

ZERO sympathy for michael brown or the knife weilding psycho thug in Brooklyn.

        • Smoking Hamster

I’m sorry but if you are obese, drug using, diabetic, and asthmatic and die of a heart attack you most certainly take the brunt of the blame. The actions taken by the police would not have killed or even seriously injured a normal person.

          • Vinegar Hill

…….but the actions of the police officer did kill him……

          • truebearing

The police officer was reacting according to his responsibilities. He was hired to maintain law and order. New York put a huge tax on cigarettes, then pressured the police to be enforcers. Garner was a repeat offender, had generated complaints from people in the neighborhood, was allegedly selling to school children, and resisted arrest. That doesn’t mean he deserved to die, but it does mean the officer was required to arrest him.

You can’t say he would still be alive. That is pure speculation. Having diabetes, sleep apnea, and asthma made Garner one cigarrette away from a heart attack. The officer only had him in a neck hold for 8 seconds. It takes a lot longer than 8 seconds to choke someone to death, and any reasonably healthy person can hold their breath for 60 seconds, or longer, quite easily with no risk of heart attack.

If the facts put the cause of death on the poor health of Garner, it isn’t blaming the deceased, it is objectivae consideration of all of the facts, not just political spin.

I’m sure you are still defending Michael Brown, despite the overwhelming evidence of his guilt. He charged a cop and tried to take his gun. Is that fact somehow “blaming the deceased?” If you think it is, you need your head examined.

          • nomoretraitors

and if Garner had not become combative and uncooperative, the cop would not have had to react in the way he did

          • Vinegar Hill

Look the video and tell me how you think he was “combative”?

          • nomoretraitors

He refused to be handcuffed and told the officers he was tired of them “messing” with him and said it was going to “stop today.”
I was bike riding in a park one afternoon and was stopped by a cop because I fit the description of someone who had been reported to be breaking into cars in the parking lot. He asked for my ID, I showed it to him and within 10 minutes was on my way — no beating, no handcuffs, no chokehold. That’s the way you deal with the police

          • http://saberpoint.blogspot.com/ Stogie Chomper

The fact that Garner is deceased is irrelevant. He caused his own death by resisting arrest.

          • Vinegar Hill

How were the police to know if Garner was lying? What would have happened if they’d eased up and he overpowered them? (he was a big guy).
Also, this confrontation happened less than a week after a cop in nearby Jersey City NJ was gunned down in the line of duty. Don’t you think that was on their minds?

        • johninohio1

If he was having a heart attack, then you have no idea of whether he would have survived or died. It would all depend upon the severity of the heart attack and the speed at which help could arrive.

          • Vinegar Hill

Do you not think that an illegal choke hold might have had something to do with bringing on a heart attack?

          • nomoretraitors

It was not a “chokehold.” Once he was brought to the ground the cop no longer had an arm around his neck.
The confrontation probably triggered the heart attack but the underlying factors of obesity and asthma were the main cause.
Funny how Garner’s multiple ailments didn’t prevent him from resisting arrest.
Check out “Lessons From Staten Island” and Lessons From Ferguson” on wordpressdotcom on the root causes of the problems in the black community

          • johninohio1

I think resisting arrest was more to blame. You can argue that the crime he was being arrested for shouldn’t be a crime, but a cop doesn’t get to choose the laws he has to enforce.

          • cheeseburger

Of course, any rational person would consider that, but rationality went out the window when Blacks started looting, shooting and torching buildings in Ferfuson MO. These very same people… the looters and shooters and arsonists that DEMAND that it is their right to commit crimes, will be FURIOUS if the cops don’t respond, and quick, if, perchance, it is the Black’s houses that the Blacks accidentally set fire to their own homes. When an entire race claims that it’s skin color grants it immunity to prosecution because 100 years ago slavery existed, Rule of Law ceases to exist, and Rule of Mob takes over.

        • frankstclair

If you can complain that you can’t breathe, that means you can breathe. Garner is not a victim, unless it is of his own lifestyle. But facts don’t matter, your mind is made up. Bring on the lynch mob!

          • Vinegar Hill

You are implying that if Garner had said that he “can’t breath” properly with the extra word all would be fine!! So he died because of his failure to explain his inability to breath “properly”. Do us all a favour…..

          • frankstclair

You do us all a favor and research what you’re talking about. The man was NOT choked to death. He died in the ambulance of heart failure. Of course, facts don’t matter to the narrative, do they?

    • SCREW SOCIALISM

The death of Eric Garner was a MAJOR screwup by the NYPD. The cops and the EMT should have taken his “I can’t breathe” seriously.

The death of the thug michael brown was unfortunately due to his attacking the copy in Ferguson.

What needs to be addressed is why are black people overrepresented per capita as perpetrators of crime.

You have followed suit as well in your most recent comment.

Regarding the above response I agree with you when you call attention to the need to investigate “why are black people overrepresented per capita as perpetrators of crime.”

        • SCREW SOCIALISM

Some people who are obese are unable to breathe while lying prone due to various health conditions. Some people need several pillows to elevate their head/back to ease breathing.

Mr. Graner clearly said, while he was prone on the sidewalk that he could not breathe. That should have been taken seriously by the cops AND the EMT.

Eric Browns family have a case against the city of New York. But some slimey lawyer will take too much from the eventual settlement.

That G-D for the video. And for the videos that showed michael browns thuggish behavior in the mini-mart and the POS who stabbed a guy in the Brooklyn synagogue who was unfortuneatley shot by the NYPD because he went back for his blood stained knife.

        • kasandra

No you didn’t. You wrote it about Garner and Brown. You wrote ” they try and shift the blame for the recent deaths to the deceased”. “Deaths” is plural so you weren’t just talking about Garner which means that you think in the Brown case the blame for his death was shifted from the police to Brown his bad self. Now, that means you think that when a police officer attempts to defend himself from being attacked, with the assailant trying to grab his gun, that the blame should rightly be on the cop. I don’t care what color you are. If you grab for a cop’s gun while attacking him, you’re the responsible party for everything that results. Period. No blame was shifted in the Brown case. The Gentle Giant, high on THC and coming from a robbery, was always the right one to blame.

          • Vinegar Hill

Horowitz wrote the sentence in relation to Garner and I showed the error of his ways. However, I also used the plural, because what I wrote not only applies to Garner but many other brutal killings of black people…………Trayvon Martin…..Renisha McBride…..Amadou Diallo……..

          • kasandra

I don’t know who Renisha McBride is but none of the rest were “recent.” Your original post, to which I was replying, referred to “recent” deaths.” I wouldn’t refer to Martin or Diallo as “recent” deaths.

          • truebearing

Now you’re digging up Trayvon Martin. Okay. He got shot because he tried to smash Zimmerman’s head on the concrete. He’s another punk that deserved what he got.

          • truebearing

Brutal killings of black people? What about the thousands of black on black killings? That makes the number killed by police pale in comparison, but it also proves just how violent and out of control young black males are. It proves that many carry guns, or other weapons, therefore, the police have no choice but to anticipate the possibility of the need to use deadly force when dealing with proven violent people.

You refuse to acknowledge truth when it impinges on your racist agenda. That is pretty sick.

          • Vinegar Hill

“the need to use deadly force when dealing with proven violent people.” There were other options which could have been used as a response. The police “have…choice”. The need to use “deadlty force” against an unarmed man?

          • truebearing

If someone pulls out a toy that looks identical to a gun, the police have a fraction of a second to respond. They have a right to live too. Only a complete moron would expect anyone to just stand there and wait to see if it is a real gun and if the person wielding it will shoot them.

As for Garner, he was not a victim of deadly force, period. He was a victim of being too effing fat and out of shape. he also had diabetes, asthma, and sleep apnea, all three of which may have disappeared if he lost enough weight. Blame the Ho-Hos and Ding-Dongs he ate for being the “deadly force.”

        • cheeseburger

He was a bully and a thug. He enjoyed using his size to terrorize the weak. He tried to overpower a cop. Bad idea. Bullies and thugs who are dumb enough to pick a fight with a cop will eventually get killed violently. Better him than the shopkeeper, who was the bullies victim.

Same moronic argument. He wouldn’t be dead if he hadn’t attacked a cop, either. But he did. Deal with reality instead of posing hypotheticals that are an impossibility.

You are the one trying to shift the blame. Typical leftist projection.

Brown got shot because he assaulted an officer, eluded being arrested, then charged the officer, twice. Several black witnesses corroborated Wilson’s account. The forensics corroborated Wilson’s account. Brown had it coming, pure and simple. there is no gray zone. No doubt about what happened and why. No mystery as to the thuggish nature of Brown. He tried to bully a cop and got shot repeatedly because he was too stupid, high, full of hate, or all three to stop after being wounded. He’d be alive if he hadn’t been such an a+shole.

          • Vinegar Hill

It’s not a “moronic argument”. It is another way of viewing events and it does not attempt to justify the killing.
The police have different options regarding the manner in which they can respond. I offered alternatives and they all would have avoided death.
What do you mean by “Brown had it coming, pure and simple”. Who are you to act as jury and judge?

          • cheeseburger

Coming at it from a different angle, Brown was not the sharpest card in the deck. He was a known bully. This has been documented in print and on video. People of low intelligence are inclined to make bad decisions. His juvenile years are publicly acknowledged in that respect. So on that fateful day, an angry, dumb-ass bully made a fatally bad decision, he tried to wrestle a loaded service revolver from a cop. A smarter person who was not accustomed to getting his way by bullying, beating up people smaller than him, would have surrendered. Sure, it’s a tragedy, but this sort of craziness has been going on since cave men roamed the earth. The Strong and the Smart survive. If he’d used his smarts, he’d be alive today to beat up people weaker then him.

          • cheeseburger

One can gain from the leftists, that a cop’s life is less valuable than a Black thug’s life.

          • truebearing

It is an argument and it is moronic. You are trying to revise that facts of the incident after they have already happened. One could say that is dishonesty, but anyone who thinks they can rewrite history simply because they didn’t like an outcome is a moron.

The killing was justified, as is any killing where someone is attacked by a huge bully intent on injuring or killing that innocent person.

Your alternatives? What alternatives? Let him go and continue to break the law? Send him to a fat farm so he can take pressure off his weak heart? I don’t see any alternatives in your nonsensical comments.

What do I mean be “Brown had it coming?” What part of that didn’t you understand? Brown was on a crime spree. He attacked a cop, then tried to again. The law is clear that Wilson was well within his rights to shoot Brown. Brown asked for it.

          • cheeseburger

Obama went on national news networks and gave his speech about our ‘disenfranchised minorities’, subtly encouraging Blacks and their Leftist Communist minions to loot, riot and murder. Brown is a product of Obama’s ‘free stuff’ ethos… free cellphones to organize the scumbags so that they can destroy property, public and riot. If a White Cop defends himself against against an attacking enraged Black thug, the cop is guilty… how dare the cop defend himself and his oath to serve and protect both peaceful citizens and his own life? ‘Black Thug’s Rights’ apparently supersede the rights of everybody else?

          • Vinegar Hill

Your second paragraph tells me that you are out to lunch! Look at the video of the event and explain how he “attacked” the police.

I know I certainly wish both Brown and Garner had lived. So they could have been arrested, tried, and convicted of being criminals. Especially Brown, who likely should have been in prison in the first place, for second degree murder. And you would think Garner would have been locked up on that tragic day as well. After all, 30 prior arrests! It’s as if the police have their hands tied or something. It is clear to me, Brown and Garner should have been locked up for their own good. So I certainly hope you do not accuse me, of placing blame on the guilty as sin. I just might cry. Boo hoo hoo. Boo hoo hoo.

Based on the last election Americans are waking up and rejecting the works of the left. It’s obvious that Obama, Sharpton, Dyson, Farrakhan, etc. are in with the Communist revolution as it is being trotted out in Ferguson. The Democrat party line media are totally complicit, ignoring robber Mike Brown’s attacks on the cop and still calling him “unarmed black teen”, and ignoring the many more murders nationwide by similar feral black thugs. The sherriffs deputies and police forces could be eventually subverted and packed with thousands of muslim or leftist operatives and made to suppress us into full tyranny, but that would take a lot more time than Obama has. Not saying don’t be prepared. For now our traditional laws, mindsets and enforcement personell are geared to protect us from a violent revolution. If Obama-Holder worked up an actual race war and declared martial law that could change. They would like to do it but probably couldn’t get away with it yet. Meanwhile don’t give the left propaganda fodder by supporting the killing of Eric Garner. Millions saw the video and watched the cops choke him down and leave him lying there unconscious on his side handcuffed behind his back with no care for 7 minutes, arrested for resisting arrest -legal, but not very defensible morally or emotionally. If the injured dies later its still a killing in common law.

Their policies would lead to carnage in the black and minority communities. They are the mob. They hate America. Most Americans, I believe, do not want to hamper the police.

More is coming out about Garner, over at: gotnews.com.

(a wonderful site I first read about here, at the mighty Frontpage)

Gotnews reports, EricGarner had at least 8 domestic incident reports filed against him.

Including several for unwanted sexual touching. Garner was also picked up for for possession of narcotics with a dangerous tag, an offense that means the drugs could be “oxy or meth.” Garner also got busted for for false impersonation, or giving a false name to the police. He was also picked up several times for driving with a suspended license. There is more. But please, check for the rest yourself, and experience the fabulous world of Eric Gardner.

“And this will continue until conservatives begin calling things by their right names; that would mean fighting fire with fire.”

Ferguson: Young black bull shot to death when mistaking policeman for matador.

CIA Interrogations: Despite evidence that interrogation techniques revealed important information, leading ultimately to bin Laden’s execution, and the prevention of new terrorist attacks, Democrats claim interrogations were morally reprehensible, regardless of how many lives they saved.

Obamacare: should have been referred to as “ObamaScare”.

2016: the year we find out what percentage of the American electorate is still sane.

As I’ve said before and will say again, the left doesn’t want justice. The left wants REVENGE

The Left wants more than revenge. It wants, as our illustrious President has said many times: to fundamentally transform America. He never specified the details of his plan, but Obama supports The Leftist agenda.Christianity is out, free abortions are in. ‘Progressive’ is in. supporting the military is out, Pardoning Islamic Jihadists is in. The Constitution is out and free condoms and birth control is in… all supported by the mainstream American working class, which Obama despises. Free lunches and cellphones for Obama’s ‘community organizers are in. Hard working middle class workers are forced to pay for Obama care whether they like it or not. Rule by fiat ‘executive order’ is in and Rule of Law is turned into Rule of Mob. Obama has been the most divisive President in decade, and it was all part of his plan from the get go. read this: http://www.aim.org/aim-column/obamas-communist-mentor/
