Anti-Israel Blogger Praised by Media Goes on Crazy Racist Rant Over Pro-Israel Black Woman

A little tip for Richard Silverstein, you don’t get to shout “Uncle Tom” or try to sound like a cartoon version of a black 60s radical when you’re whiter than cottage cheese.
You just don’t.
Perhaps proud black man, Richard Silverstein would consider Martin Luther King who said, “When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews, you are talking anti-Semitism” another Uncle Tom.
Richard Silverstein, an amateur hatemonger praised by the mainstream media because he directs his hatred at Israelis, melted down quite badly when discovering pro-Israel activist Chloe Valdary’s article criticizing Judith Butler.
Then Richard Silverstein suggested that Chloe couldn’t have written her article on her own.
@MaxBlumenthal I’ve never read her B4 but this sounds like it was ghost written for her. Wonder if that’s possible.

Chloe replied by noting the absurdity of an Uncle Harry accusing her of being an Uncle Tom.
@AnarchoZionist lol an anti-Zionist Jew has the audacity to call ME an uncle Tom. Let us pause and note the multiple ironies:
— Chloé Simone Valdary (@cvaldary) February 22, 2014
@AnarchoZionist he does not believe in his own people's self worth; he thinks all black people must think alike. Bravo.
— Chloé Simone Valdary (@cvaldary) February 22, 2014
Silverstein reacted to criticism of his racist Tweet with all the grace and dignity you would expect from Norman Finkelstein.
@JCCWatch My parents taught me to hate injustice & lies lk those spewed by @cvaldary
— Tikun Olam (@richards1052) February 23, 2014
@AlexRyvchin After calling Judith Butler a “vile anti Semite” @cvaldary is lucky that’s ALL I called her!
— Tikun Olam (@richards1052) February 24, 2014
@lukobe @cvaldary Did they teach you in English linguistics that “negro” wasn’t spelled with a capital “N?”
— Tikun Olam (@richards1052) February 23, 2014
@HenMazzig Though I’m NOT white supremacist, YOU & @standwithus are Jewish supremacists, Islamophobes, racists.
— Tikun Olam (@richards1052) February 24, 2014
@lukobe So there is huge difference bet. N-word (racist) & “Negro” (sarcastic reference to @cvaldary‘s betrayal of progressive values)
— Tikun Olam (@richards1052) February 23, 2014
@ByondPolitics Pro-Israel trolls are bigots & don’t get to define who are bigots.
— Tikun Olam (@richards1052) February 23, 2014
@lukobe Calling @cvaldary “Uncle Tom” was not a personal attack. Nor was calling you a hasbarist. Those are political terms, not personal.
— Tikun Olam (@richards1052) February 23, 2014
@billmon1 So far tnite I’ve been called ‘pedophile’ & my parents “kapos” by nitwits lk @JCCWatch who think ‘Negro’ is racist term.
— Tikun Olam (@richards1052) February 23, 2014
@EmmeDiaz Racism is Jews who only hv use for other races when they endorse Jewish racial superiority.

@DarthPutinKGB When will the glorious forces of the Russian Federation liberate our downtrodden brothers in the Ukraine from Euro lackeys??
— Tikun Olam (@richards1052) February 22, 2014
@buffer Y is buffer telling me I can no longer post using free version. Is this glitch or is there a usage limit?
— Tikun Olam (@richards1052) February 22, 2014
Buffer, stepping in to help Richard Silverstein, the man with no filter. But don’t worry, the Forward and the New York Times will go on quoting Richard Silverstein and taking him seriously no matter how many crazy racist things he says on Twitter.
In response to Richard Silverstein’s racist rant, Chloe replied.
“To be honest, the attack really did hurt me. Not because of who had said it, but because I didn’t really think it was possible that in today’s world, in the 21st century, there would be such bold and overt racism expressed by someone who is looked up to in the media.”
“That someone would actually suggest that my writings should be questioned because I’m a young black girl, that was a painful reminder of what my ancestors had to endure, and it reinforced my sense of duty to the cause of freedom, to which all peoples must aspire.”
When this reporter expressed surprise that someone like Silverstein could hurt the feelings of someone like Valdary, she replied,
“Yes, Saturday was a very bad day for me. It’s not that he means anything, it’s just that you know my people’s experience is poignant and, to be frank, I’d never experienced anything even remotely resembling [the ugliness of] pre-civil rights movement in America. But it’s a teaching moment.”
