Anti-Israel Kerry Blames Jewish State for Collapse of Negotiations with Terrorists

US Secretary of State John Kerry meets with Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Palestinian National Authority

Of course. It’s always Israel’s fault.

Israel could offer every inch of land except for the Tel Aviv bus station and the talks would collapse and it would be at fault for not offering the bus station.

Israeli leaders who thought that they would prove that it was Abbas’ fault by going along with the release of murderers every step of the way are right back to where they started.

US Secretary of State John Kerry spoke before the Senate on Tuesday, where he blamed Israel for the breakdown of peace talks last week.

“Israel didn’t release the Palestinian prisoners on the day they were supposed to be freed, and another day passed, and another day, and then another 700 settlement units were announced in Jerusalem, and ‘poof’…that was sort of the moment,” remarked Kerry before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Regarding Kerry’s comment about the “700 settlement units,” Israel reissued a call for tenders on over 700 housing units in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo last Tuesday. A construction freeze on Jewish building in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria was not a precondition of the talks.

The fourth and final batch of terrorist releases, meant as a “gesture” for the talks, was set for March 29 but put on hold given the total lack of progress in talks, and the widespread protest to the unpopular move. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu reportedly told Kerry the release could topple his government.

The release was officially cancelled last Thursday, after Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Abbas requested to join 15 UN agencies last Tuesday, in breach of the peace talk conditions.

Let’s sum up.

Israel delays the release of a final group of terrorists, who shouldn’t have even been released because it’s completely inappropriate to demand preemptive concessions before an agreement, and then it’s at fault.

And let’s not forget the “settlements” in Jerusalem, one of the oldest cities in the world.

Meanwhile no amount of Muslim settlements creating “facts on the ground”, no amount of threats of violence and actual violence, no amount of violations of agreements by the Muslim terrorists are ever the issue.

It’s always Israel’s fault.

Kerry further blamed Israel for demanding recognition as the Jewish state. Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas brought talks to a standstill by adamantly refusing to recognize Israel as the Jewish state.

“The government of the United States and the president supports the notion of Israel being defined as a Jewish state,” Kerry noted. “We believe that that should happen. But when it happens, and how it happens, has to be part of the negotiations. It’s not going to happen in the beginning.”

So why are terrorist releases happening in the beginning? Because the terrorists get anything they want and Israel gets blamed the moment they aren’t happy.

Noting the intensive energy that he has put into pushing the talks forward since last July, Kerry noted “there’s a limit to the amount of time that Obama and I can invest in this topic with consideration to other challenges around the world, especially if the sides aren’t willing to show seriousness.”

Kerry and Obama can take their ball and go home. There are so many other parts of the world they can screw up instead. Pivot to Asia, Ukraine, Syria or Mars.

Israel, after two decades of concessions and countless dead, still isn’t “serious” enough for Kerry and Obama.

Maybe they can find someone appropriately serious in Syria.

But don’t worry, as on every other issue, Kerry was for Israel before he was against it. Back when he was running for president, he was talking in an entirely different way.

“For the entire 20 years that I have been in the United States Senate, I’m proud that my commitment to a secure Jewish state has been unwavering; not even by one vote or one letter or one resolution has it wavered,” Kerry said to the applause of the ADL audience.

“I was allowed to fly an air force jet from the Ovda Airbase. It was then that Israeli insecurity about narrow borders became very real to me. In a matter of minutes, I came close to violating the airspace of Egypt, Jordan, and Syria. From that moment on, I felt as Israelis do: The promise of peace must be secure before the Promised Land is secure on a thin margin of land.”

“I will never forget a moment on top of Masada, when I stood on that great plateau where the oath of new soldiers used to be sworn against the desert backdrop and the test of history. I had spent several hours with Yadin Roman debating whether or not Josephus Flavius was correct in his account of the siege – whether these really were the last Jews fighting for survival – whether they had escaped since no remains were ever found. After our journey through history – which we resolved with a vote in favor of history as recorded – we stood as a group at the end of the cliff and altogether we shouted across the chasm – across the desert – Am Yisrael Chai. And across the silence we listened as voices came back – faintly we heard the echo of the souls of those who perished – Am Yisrael Chai. The State of Israel lives. The people of Israel live.

“In this difficult time we must again reaffirm we are enlisted for the duration – and reaffirm our belief that the cause of Israel must be the cause of America – and the cause of people of conscience everywhere.”

John Kerry, he’ll say anything. Absolutely anything.

    Bye bye Nobel Peace Prize.

    • Daniel Greenfield

Maybe he can still make a documentary like Al Gore.

      • truebearing

If like Gore, he sticks to pure fiction, he’s got a good chance.

        • Daniel Greenfield

He just needs his own crisis. Global Warming is taken.

  • Habbgun

Here’s a suggestion….Israel can declare war on Judea….arrest and release its own citizens as a negotiating precondition and John Kerry can broker the agreement…..In fact I’m so sure Israel can have peace with Judea we should just give Kerry a noble prize right now…..

  • Andy_Lewis

    Ol’ Horseface Phuqueface strikes again,.

  • truebearing

Israel ruined the negotiations which would have afforded all Israelis the eternal peace of Kerry’s genocide enabling efforts. In the next round of
“peace talks,” Kerry can insist that Israelis agree to “stand still while we shoot you” as a condition for Abbas to agree to more conditions and money before he will come to the table, where the Israeli negotiators are gagged and blindfolded, and failure to answer is counted as agreeing to any and all terms.

  • kasandra

He’s so busy with Iran (failure),Crimea (failure), Egypt (failure) he must have forgotten about the PA having decided to bypass negotiations altogether and apply for membership as a State on 15 UN committees contrary to its commitments to the US and Israel.

  • Gee

Ah yes – it is the fault of the JOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSS. Those stiffed necked people keep on insisting on breathing in spite of all the Arab demands to the contrary.
Secretary Kerry – I intend to personally piss-you-off by continuing to upset your Arab pets and keep breathing on a regular basis

    • Dan Borden

…and since you are a JOOOO, we know you are using more air than you are supposed to, probably stealing it from some poor Palestinian(although I should have paid more attention in geography class, I can’t find Palestine anywhere on a real map), and I bet you enjoy torturing those Arab pets for fun. Furthermore, I know you damn JOOOOOS conspired to steal another race from Jeff Gordon on Monday. Come on, admit it!!!!

  • Jake

Well, first of all Jews have no promised land and this is written in the bible with evidence so stop saying the words ‘Jewish state’. Secondly, You are calling the other side as terrorist, For God sake, please look at the statistics and you’ll see that more than 500,000 palestinian were killed by the jews who are claiming it’s their right using the crocodile tears as said by one of the elite Jews thinkers while only a few hundreds of the israelis were killed. Mmmm. How about the people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Were those (millions) people terrorists?

Am just saying the tiniest of the tiniest truth. Stop kidding yourself unless if you only follow the black media which focus on brainwashing only. Stop following that and look up statistics and other sources (tons), go there and watch for yourself.

    With all due respect!

    • Alja Gerschman-Meijer

You are so WRONG it’s not even funny.

    • Ken Kelso

What you smoking. Less then 100,000 Arabs have been killed in all the Arab wars against Israel since 48.

      • objectivefactsmatter

Well, when jihadis blow themselves up in their garages planning the next terror attacks, the death toll climbs for them then as well while the Jews get away with no harm. So that must be the fault of the Jews too! Twenty nine jihadis dead and no Jews killed. It has to be the Jews again!

        • Dan Borden

Precisely!!! Very soon, you too can be an islamic scholar!!

          • objectivefactsmatter

            It’s not actually that hard.

          • Dan Borden

I disagree…….to be an “islamic scholar” is EXTREMELY challenging!! You need to suspend and/or forget every bit of logic and rationality you have every learned. You have to believe that rape victims not only asked for it, but should be stoned. JOOOS and Christians are to be blamed for everything bad, and profess that Muslims created and discovered everything. You obviously have a lot of work to do……I would suggest killing as many brain cells as possible, and read nothing but the Koran everyday.

    • Daniel Greenfield

Everything you’ve said, from the first sentence to the last is laughably untrue.

    • objectivefactsmatter

Let me explain something to you that will help you in all areas of your life. People can lie. And their lies can some times “feel true.”

You look like an idiot when you regurgitate blatantly mendacious propaganda. Then again, you might be genuinely brainwashed.

    • Gee

Wow 500,000 killed?!?!?!? Who knew. Heck that is only 100 times more than even the lying Arabs claim

    • johngvanvliet

What news cast you watch ??? and can you read ??

      YOU LIE “Jihad Jake”.

5,000,000,000,000,000,000 ” paleswinians were killed by the followers of the prophet of Satan called Muhammed.

    • CowboyUp

Imperial Japan openly waged a terror war from the beginning, and the allies responded in kind. The fakestinians did and do the same, deliberately targeting civilians. Unfortunately, the Israelis have not responded in kind, so the fakestinians continue to attack their civilians.

    • Dan Borden

Dude, you obviously flunked out of yeshiva, and ended up in some miserable inner-city public school. I believe your history teachers came directly from Hamas and Code Pink. However, if you do have a extra ounce or two of what your are smoking, I have a couple of friends who will pay top dollar.

  • wileyvet

As Abba Eban once famously said ” The Palestinians never miss an opportunity, to miss an opportunity”

I have at least 2 complaints to make.
1)Who is Swiftboat Kerry,he of the the numerous Purple Hearts, to mediate a peace negotiation beween Israel & this so-called “Palestinian Authority? Kerry is a dishonorable traitor who was in Paris in 1970,in uniform,to speak with the North Vietnamese delegation which represented America’s enemy. His meetings were unauthorized & criminal.Hanoi John accused American soldiers Of complicity in genocidal murder, which aside from some rare instances, were untrue. The man,if I can call him a man,is a disgrace & lacks honesty & integrity. All that being acknowledged, why would anyone trust this liar & traitor ato be an impartial mediator in any peace negotiations, when the fate of a nation may be at stake!
2)Much of the blame lies with the Israeli politicians who “bob & weave” around issues on a steady basis.Netanyahu persists in doing the Court Jew routine, relying almost completely on finesse, without any suggestion of strength in an attempt to hold off the Jew-haters in Washington & Brussels.Rolling around in the dirt like a whipped dog only encourages your enemies to double their efforts! Why should the Anti-Semites who seek to murder Israel have any respect for people who have no self respect! As a contrast,in 1948 Ben Gurion & the Jewish Agency declared independence, over strong American & European opposition. He knew what needed to be done & if the Jew haters in the western capitols didn’t like it they could all go to Hell in a basket. No waffleing at that time!
In 1981,after blowing up Iraq’s nuclear program,Washington got after Israel for their actions.Prime Minister Begin refused to see Israel humiliated. He told Washington that Israel was not a Banana Republic, not anyone’s vassel state!Upon getting this message Washington gained some respect for Israel & let up on the pressure.Perhaps Netanyahu & Israel’s current politicians could follow the examples of Ben Gurion & Begin, grow backbones & tell Obama & Kerry to go “play in traffic”.When all is said & done,if you are willing to passively take sh-t, sh-t is what you will get!

  • Mladen_Andrijasevic

On Sept 2, 1939, when some MPs heard Chamberlain’s reaction to Hitler’s attack on Poland (the previous day), they vomited. This is exactly how I felt when I heard Kerry’s remarks

  • CowboyUp

“Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu reportedly told Kerry the release could topple his government.” The dp would call that a twofer.
