CAIR Demands Head of Houston Firefighter Over Facebook Post

9-11-firefighter

I wouldn’t even call this a post. He seemed to have set, probably, someone else’s image as his profile picture on Facebook. But CAIR is out hunting for heads and politically correct politicians are only too happy to comply.

HOUSTON (KTRK) — An HFD employee is under investigation and on administrative duty because of something he posted on his personal Facebook page.

The post is set to a backdrop of an American flag and reads, “Proud Infidel. F*** Islam and F*** Muslims.” It was posted to his timeline earlier this month, and at one point, it was even his profile picture.

When we brought it to the attention of the Houston Fire Department, Chief Terry Garrison responded with a statement, “As soon as I was made aware of the situation, I adopted a complaint on the matter, launching an internal investigation.”

“Your rights of freedom of speech and freedom of expression stop when you work for somebody, to the extent that there’s policies in place,” said KTRK Legal Analyst, Joel Androphy.

If we took Joel at his word, then freedom of speech would not exist for anyone except freelancers. His way of putting is certainly unnecessarily creepy. Employers can indeed fire employees for any number of reasons, depending on local laws, etc… However government agencies firing employees for their private views opens up a whole other can of worms as Christie found out when a NJ state employee who tore up a Koran in New York was temporarily fired over it.

Ruth Nasrullah, communications coordinator for the Houston office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said the posting apparently occurred in the wake of early September’s ISIS beheading of journalist Steven Sotloff.

Houston CAIR Executive Director Mustafaa Carroll said his organization is “disgusted” by the post and called on Fire Chief Terry Garrison to order diversity training for firefighter and, possibly, for the entire 4,000-person department. Carroll also called on the firefighter to make a public apology to Muslims

“Violations of this policy should also be subject to further disciplinary action not to exclude probation, suspension and termination,” Carroll said.

“Our public servants don’t just protect one part of society. They protect all of us. They help all of us. They work for all of us. And it’s very important for us to all feel comfortable dealing with people that have some authority over us,” said Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Executive Director Mustafaa Carroll.

Protecting us doesn’t mean that they have to like us. They can’t possibly like all of us.

This clip from Rescue Me sums up matters nicely. (Language warning.)

“Let me tell you somethin’ the next time I run into a burning building and refuse to bring out anybody who’s not the same color as me, then that’s when you can bring my angry, pink, sober, Irish, ass back down here. Got it?”

The basis HPD is using for the investigation is far shakier than Joel would like us to think.

City Attorney David Feldman said Tuesday that although the material “purportedly” appeared on a private Web page, the firefighter alluded to his city employment and included the fire department logo in his postings.

That’s a weak case. No one is under the impression that an individual firefighter speaks for the department or represents it on his private Facebook page.

Listening to honesty is like lifting a heavy weight off my shoulders. It’s liberating and feels great!

Every muslim in this country should either be deported or chipped with a gps device to keep keep them under 24 hour surveillance. 25% of them are pure evil, probably 70% more totally agree with the 25 % , which leaves very few decent ones.

The sensitivity training video is classic, worth a watch. Some graphic language.

    • KyraNelson

Oh do post it if you have it. I’m just not sensitive enough to those fine folks at CAIR who want to slaughter me, my family, you, your family, ETC.

  • Bartthedog

CAIR should be hunted down and deported.

Islam – (noun) the religion of peace, a monolithic faith with a controversial approach to evangelism.
The language is still too strong. Anyone know the government’s stylebook definition of a genocidal death cult?

People do not do things like this except for the fact that Ibrahim Cooper practice Taqiyya for years with the solemn blessing of the ACLU and other scum.

People can hold their tongue for only so long.

We demand Ibrahim Coper’s head. He must resign from CAIR and self deport himself to Yemen or Somalia or the Islamic State.

  • glpage

I am seriously offended by CAIR. Not only because they represent terrorism, but also because they expect non-Muslims to suck up to them. If they want respect they really need to understand they have to show respect. But, maybe their attitude is endemic to Islam and treating others as they want to be treated just isn’t going to happen.

He is exercising his 1st Amendment right to speech……even if someone does not like it.
BUT sadly we live in an age of the ugliness known as PC or basic kowtowing…..

Too many have sacrificed too much to protect our right to speak freely
If CAIR can’t handle it then maybe they ought to stop reading his FB entries.

In case you forgot, only mozlems are allowed the luxury of free speech

This is pure BS. I wish someone would rip CAIR a new one. These lying scum are Muslim Brotherhood for crying out loud. Ask them point blank where is the diversity training in Islam? Where is Muslim sensitivities or respect for anything non-Muslim? Where is their condemnation of Muslim atrocities, or IS or the virulent Jew hatred promulgated in every Muslim country and treatment of religious minorities? Every time this stealth Jihad group opens its mouth, they need to be confronted with solid facts about who they are and what their goals are, and stop being given credibility or legitimacy. This is becoming a tragic farce. Being browbeaten by Islamic supremacists who wish to supplant the US Constitution with Sharia in the Land of the Free is a disgrace.

  • FedUpWithWelfareStates

Hey CAIR…STOP trying to undermine OUR country…it is NOT your country, representing the Muslim Brotherhood as their Taqiyya proxy, filing frivolous law suits in your quest to spread Sharia law & absolutely refusing to assimilate into American culture, & we might stop learning exactly what the Quran says about Infidels (yea, its that beheading thingy) & finally waking up the Sleeping Giant called America that is getting ready to step on your goat loving self, squashing you like the insects you are…Peace out, Dog!

  • De Doc

The citizens of Houston, Muslims included, can rest easy that this fellow in question will carry out his duties to the best of his abilities without regard to the background of those he will help. The same probably could not be said of many Muslims, who by their own religious scriptures, are bound to hold in contempt all those who do not share their Islamic scruples.

  • PatnTrucks

CAIR is pathetic – they want to shut us up on our freedoms and we swallow the CRAP in the koran – and in spite of the KORAN BEING THE MURDER BOOK OF ISLAM. Well, we can’t talk about it because it is true – the koran is the murder book of islam and is so full of CHRISTIAN HATE, JEWISH HATE, Non-BELIEVER HATE, Apostate HATE, Gay Folk Hate, WOMEN HATE, DOG HATE, PICTURE HATE, Church Bell ringing HATE. Just how much can one book have in HATE? Mohaha hated EVERYBODY BUT MUSLIMS. Meantime, while the likes of CAIR is busy pointing the fingers at the rest of the USA over HATE and this and that ophobia – the hate it begins and ends in the koran, the Fake Allah hate book.

  • ylem

I support the firefighter’s freedom of speech.

Cair no like the activist ISIL type jihad; they jump at every opportunity for the stealth jihad approach; that’s because it has worked; and, they don’t like the idea of armed Americans.

Phony “workplace violence” won’t prevent retaliation, it will make it more likely. Cair propaganda, the same.

  • jaazee

When our rogue President issues his unconstitutional Amnesty EO it will not parse “illegals” by country of origin. We have no idea how many illegals from Iran, Syria, Iraq,Libya, Yemen, et al will be out of the closet and free to roam. This will not end well.

  • Smoking Hamster

I hope “demanding his head” doesn’t become literal.

  • KyraNelson

I’m pretty sure I would gag my way through a public apology to those CAIR turds just so I wouldn’t have to sit through a few weeks of “diversity training.” I would be begging for someone, anyone to sever my head after the first 5 minutes.

  • Nottaturk

CAIR remains listed as an un-indicted co-conspirator in the largest terror funding case in US history, by a federal judge. CAIR is no less than the PR wing of HAMAS in the United States. http://definingthenarrative.com/2014/07/26/hamas-in-the-united-states/

  • steveyuhas

Isn’t it time for people and organizations across the United States to follow the example of the rest of the world and ignore organizations like CAIR? Groups of terrorists demand that a man who lays his life down for others every single day should be fired because he dislikes Islam? Has he ever not gone running into a burning mosque? When he does… suspend him, but not over THOUGHT!

  • redbirddeb

F*ck CAIR. How’s THAT for “free speech”?
