Creepy Faceless “Sharia Compliant” Doll Debuts in UK

Well this isn’t creepy or horrifying at all. This is Islam’s idea of what a woman should be. Faceless. (via Religion of Peace)

A new ‘Islamic doll’ with no facial features has been launched in Britain.

The ‘Deeni Doll’ has no eyes, nose or mouth whatsoever in a bid to comply with Islamic rules governing the depiction of faces.

The doll was manufactured in China and designed in the UK by Ridhwana B. She told us: “I came up with the idea from scratch after speaking to some parents who were a little concerned about dolls with facial features.

“Some parents won’t leave the doll with their children at night because you are not allowed to have any eyes in the room.

“The Deeni Doll has no face on it whatsoever and is Shariah compliant.”

“The Islamic range in kids toys is quite limited at the moment with few choices. Although this project took a while, I am looking at researching other ideas in the future.

Just wait for the beheading playset. And the Islamic Barbie, which will be faceless and come in packs of four with one Ken doll.

Creepy in a nutshell. Actually, because Islam turns Muslims into indistinguishable ciphers, male Deeni dolls should also be faceless. Except perhaps for a beard. That way, when the Muslim child plays house with the male and female Deeni dolls, she can pretend they have four or a dozen baby Deeni dolls, also faceless.

You don’t get out much. Here in the Midwest, we’re used to this kind of doll. Very popular with the Amish. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amish_doll

Missed the whole point – didn’t you. There is absolutely no comparison between this creepy Moslem doll and the old folk style corn husk dolls, or between the Amish Christian religion and Islam. Anyone who compares or equates the 2 is a complete moron.

Easy does it there, cowboy. The comparison is from a similar reading of the Old Testament on the issue. I’m not in any way comparing the two religions. But as a conservative evangelical Christian, I have no stomach for slamming Muslims for doing things that are not that creepy at all.

Some Amish (not all, for other Amish dolls do have faces) apparently believe the faceless doll symbolizes equality in the eyes of God. On the other hand, Muslims disbelieve in equality, between men and women and of course between Muslim and non-Muslim, and the faceless female doll more likely comes from the long tradition of denying the humanity of women.

By the way, how many Amish terrorists have there been throughout history?

OK, I missed the memo that says opposing Islam means I must oppose every single thing that every Muslim does everywhere all the time. Carry on.

Nope. Muslims should be able to do whatever they like as long as they claimed that it is what their religion wants. As you can see, Islam is sacred and it trumps everything, from your laws to your culture to whether you like it or not.

Anything that offends Islam or Islam does not agree with needs to be banned and never to be spoken of again. Allahu Akbar~

Sharia compliant and what happens to non compliant barbie dolls

  • pupsncats

Hey. Isn’t it great that little Islamic girls are allowed to play? At least prior to their marriages at age nine, they ought to be able to pretend they aren’t doomed to a life of slavery and non-personhood.

Hmmm, I can think of lots of toys. Instead of a play tool belt and tools little boys can have a play bomb-belt complete with little squares of plastic C4 with wires running to a plastic battery case with real batteries and a little wired hand-held button detonator. When pressed the belt makes explosion sound and light effects.

Or how about a series of suicide bomb cars featuring the same models really used with hidden compartments and trunk outfitted with removable bomb gear. They could have a wind up timer or button that also triggers lights and explosion effects.

And no child’s toy chest would be complete without an “Infidel Slayer” set of life sized plastic scimitar, islamic green headband with blood curdling suras printed on them and black bandanna face cover.

For little girls would be a game modeled on Operation but instead of removing bones and fixing wounds the game would feature clitoridectomies, labiaplasties, vulva stitching and treating miscellaneous welts and bruises.

The possibilities are endless for hours of educational, sharia compliant fun and laughs.

And, when old enough, the kids can visit relatives back home where it’s not a game.
