Egypt Trolls Obama, Urges Restraint in Ferguson

It’s bad enough when Russia acts this way, but Obama has made America so weak that Egypt, a client state, is openly mocking the US.

Egypt on Tuesday urged U.S. authorities to exercise restraint in dealing with racially charged demonstrations in Ferguson, Missouri – echoing language Washington used to caution Egypt as it cracked down on Islamist protesters last year.

It is unusual for Egypt to criticize such a major donor, and it was not immediately clear why the government would have taken such a step.

It took the step because Obama is weak and impotent.

Because Egypt resents Obama’s backing for the Muslim Brotherhood takeover of the country and the constant lecturing of the military for suppressing Muslim Brotherhood violence.

And finally, Egypt is pissed all over again because Obama sided with Qatar, Turkey and Hamas over it.

Egypt has backed the United Nation’s call for the United States authorities to deal with protests in Ferguson, Missouri “according to the American and international standards”.

Note the emphasis on American standards.

This is straight up trolling and Obama is weak and pathetic enough to have put America in a place where even our client states are mocking us.

Obama deserves this. His holier than thou attitude in any of his dealings has been begging for a retort like this.

      Exactly

With luck, maybe some of the Ferguson protesters will also troll Obama, and Holder, and Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson. That would be a sight!

How far he has fallen — from getting a mercy Nobel Peace Prize, to being the laughingstock of the world. In reality he started out as low as he could go, but being taunted by the Egyptians is something that might make even him wonder why he’s such a mess.

Why are folks in Egypt mocking me?

  • liz

Obama – weak, pathetic, and proud of it.

I demand the UNHRC and UNSC condemn the extreme disproportionate force that the US has used. It is a war crime because the National Guard has tanks and helicopter gunships.

The protesters must have equal weapons

I agree, and the US should leaflet the area before sending in more police. There is more the US could be doing to safeguard civilian lives. It has acted in a reckless and irresponsible manner and should be investigated by a UN human rights commission chaired by Al Sharpton and Judith Butler.
