Eugenics: Obama Budget Promotes Abortion to Protect Endangered Species

The good news is that this isn’t Socialism. It just might be National Socialism.

Like ObamaCare, Obama’s massive budget proposal has all sorts of horrible things in it, but one of them is more horrible than the rest.

Under Global Health Activities, there’s an extra-special appropriation.

“That of the funds appropriated under title III of this Act, not less than $575,000,000 should be made available for family planning/reproductive health, including in areas where population growth threatens biodiversity or endangered species.”

It’s hard to misread this as anything except promoting birth control/abortion of humans to protect endangered species. And species that aren’t even endangered.

This comes after Obama’s Interior Secretary caught flak for telling Eskimos who were dying because of a lack of a road that “I’ve listened to your stories, now I have to listen to the animals.”

According to local Aleutian elders, 19 people have died since 1980 as a result of the impossible-to-navigate weather conditions during emergency evacuations.

“She stood up in the gymnasium and told those kids, ‘I’ve listened to your stories, now I have to listen to the animals,” Democratic state Rep. Bob Herron told a local television station. “You could have heard a pin drop in that gymnasium.”

Maybe the United States government should start representing human beings instead of sacrificing human life for the sake of the radical environmental agenda.

Unbelievable. Proof that “family planning and reproductive health” is merely a code phrase for abortion. Only a deranged Leftist of the lowest order would come up with the idea of human abortions as a way to protect animals.

    • Daniel Greenfield

It’s not really new. Environmentalist groups have pushed that agenda in the past, but this may be the first time it’s directly codified in a government budget.

      • Rick

That is what is scary. Will every other Democrat president include it in their budgets and therefore give the ideal legitimacy?
Rush said ObamaCare is just what they had sitting on their desk drawer. They dust it off, add some lines and give another try. They did so for 2 generations, 40 years.
That is how they come up with such a large bill in such a short time.

        • Daniel Greenfield

Quite possible. The left keeps doing formerly unacceptable things and when no one stops them…

    • truebearing

They are the lowest order alright. Whether it is the multitude of death panel functions in obamacare, or using abortion to protect the habitat of the Black Widow spider, the environmental Left is obsessed with eliminating the expendables*.

Nice picture DG. That ought to get under their skin.
It can take repeated exposure to develop an allergy. Repeated exposure to this picture will drive progressives straight up one wall and down the other. They will not admit it at first, but it will take its’ toll.

    • Daniel Greenfield

      That’s the idea.

U.S. Interior Secretary Sally Jewell is an honorary Amerind. No one rightly knows, who bestowed the honor upon her, but rumor has it Elizabeth Warren did. Others disagree and argue it was former college professor Ward Churchill.

Sally Jewell’s Indian name is ‘Listens to Animals’ or “Listen to Squirrels” or something.

    • Headed4TheHills

Her name roughly translates as “food of squirrels”.

If’n y’all want the actually translation of Sally Jewell’s “Native American” name,it is as follows: This Here Psychobabbling Left-wing Crack-smoking Whackjob what would Rather Kill Humans and Let Bambi Dance and Frolick on their Graves

  • Habbgun

Insanity….the difference in population growth with or without abortion is negligible. This is just to establish the primacy of the state. The tacit ability of a leadership to see human life in relation to government policy is the bedrock of both Communist and Fascist totalitarian control. Not good to see USA moving in that direction.

    • Berceuse

You mean returning in that direction. We’ve been down the eugenics path before in this nation. It brought us to mass forced sterilizations, infanticide, and eventually the ideology, ideas and plans for extermination of “undesirables,” including Jews, that inspired German National Socialists to embark on their own genocidal pogroms. And who led this charge? Democrats and Progressives, of course.

      • Idaho_Roper

And do not forget the grandest of republicans Teddy Roosevelt., he was also a supporter of eugenics. The manufactured left/right paradigm must be identified and stopped if we the people are to survive this tyrannical march unkle sam is on.

Progressive-ism is completely definable using the 10 planks of communism and is really nothing more than re-branding. But the rest of government has morphed into a hybrid communist/fascist animal all it’s own with supporters residing on both sides of the aisle. The ‘slow road’ is not any less tyrannical, nor does it have any different of an outcome for the people under it.

Plenty of republicans have done their share in promoting this charge.

        • Berceuse

Intelligent/compelling points. The allure of progressivism is its supposed ability to fundamentally transform the social fabric — even human nature — via the power, authority, might and mechanisms of the State. Some Republicans have fallen (some still do) prey to such pernicious thinking — the same thinking behind socialism and national socialism. I would argue, though, that my central assertion is correct: The American eugenics moment was primarily driven by progressives on the left, just as it continues to be today. I can’t remember if any Republican justices voted for the majority in the infamous Buck v. Bell decision authorizing forced sterilizations, but I do recall that the only dissenting vote was cast by a Republican.

  • glpage

Most, if not all, on the left support unlimited abortion. I think we need to expand that to include retroactive abortion. /sarc

    • Sean

A liberal pundit who worked for a blowtorch radio station said on air that he believed in post birth abortion. He might have been all worked up from the years of controversy or he might believe it.
If they go back to the typical animals do it or what do tribes do it, they could find tribes that do not consider babies human until they survive 3 days or 7 days after birth. So they have their example. They can proudly proclaim that ‘assigning ‘ personhood to a new born is a western invention.

  • LibertarianToo

So let me see if I’ve got this right: “Family planning is obviously a “codeword” for abortion, because even if it isn’t, just think of all the innocent little babies who are murdered each time their daddy uses a condom. And anyone who thinks widespread use of contraception can lower the birthrate is obviously a Nazi, because Hitler was kind to animals, and anyone who cares about animals thinks they are the only Good life -the eu in Eugenics- and because Eskimos want to live out in the remote Aleutian wilderness and demand a road be built for hasty evacuations, because they have a right to hunt whales in the tradition of their forefathers with their fiberglass boats with the two Evinrudes on the back. And besides, aren’t we here to fill the Earth and subdue it?”

  • truebearing

“including in areas where population growth threatens biodiversity or endangered species.”

The scariest part of this misanthropic scheme is the ability of the government to determine what species is endangered and where. They can find a subspecies of mosquito in a predominantly — purely coincidentally — Christian area and impose population comtrol to save it. If one argues that more humans would help the mosquito, they’ll find a starving Lyme disease carrying woodtick and attach it to the protestor ( an organic solution if ever there was one).

No area will be without some endagered species, if they have to first practice negative eugenics to create an endangered species. Humans are distinctly second class in this Malthusian idiocy. This has Cass Sunstein’s deranged fingerprints all over it.

  • CaoMoo

SO when will I be able to order Soylent Green from my local McDonalds?

    • Hard Little Machine

Soylent Green tried to hide what it was. Obama would hire Daft Punk’s graphic artist to design preliterate food labels for us to know precisely how healthy it is for us.

  • montana83

Totally agree – all people in cities who voted for Obama are not allowed to have children. Republicans and Libertarians are hereby exempted.

  • pupsncats

Where might those people be who are endangering biodiversity and the environment? Why, Washington, D.C., Detroit, Chicago, and New York with huge populations that suck up energy by the boatload or in the case of Detroit, huge swaths of land are simply garbage dumps.

  • catherine maneker

Wow…….another reason to kill babies. All for the good of ……..?……………..a ton of money.

  • gray_man

” … just think of all the innocent little babies who are murdered each time their daddy uses a condom.”

    Are you stupid?
You do know that it requires both an egg and sperm to create a life don’t you?
Judging by the rest of your comment, the answer to my query is self-evident.
    Yes, you are.
