While Harry Reid is screaming incessantly about the Koch Brothers, another duo, Comcast and Time Warner, is set to sail through.

Comcast is one of Harry Reid’s top 5 donors and his Chief of Staff is a Comcast man. Here’s how they met

Twenty years ago, Krone had just started a new job and wanted to make a good impression. “You know, you’re young and you’ll do anything,” he reminisced. “I was asked if I would go pick up this senator at the airport.” That’s how he met his future boss, Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.)

Two decades later, Reid is the Senate majority leader and Krone is tackling the role of his chief of staff.

Krone came by his hard edge honestly. He spent more than 15 years in the private sector, where he once lobbied for the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, and more recently was a top Comcast executive.

During his private-sector career, Krone remained friends with Reid. “We always just kept in touch,” he said. “He just always looked after me.”

Krone also became one of the senator’s biggest donors, giving about $35,000 to Reid’s campaigns and leadership political action committees, according to the Center for Public Integrity.

What a touching tale of lobbyist and corrupt politician finding true love and happiness together.

Majority Leader Harry Reid’s chief of staff, David Krone, left a highly lucrative gig at Comcast before working for the Senator. As part of his exit from the company, he’s collected $1.2 million in additional payment since taking his job with Reid.

And now Harry Reid will go back to ranting about the Koch Brothers while a Comcast executive runs his office.

Can we hear some more from Reid about how our democracy is for sale?

As Senate Majority Leader, who is or was the bigger douche Harry Reid or Tom Daschle? Vote Now.

Damn, tough vote. They are both intellectual lightweights, and talk like effeminate losers. I have to give the nod to Reid for his “unAmerican” remarks.
