How Long Until Obama is Forced to Bomb Libya… Again?

Gaddafi, the Jewish leader of Libya meets, President Hussein Obama, the Muslim rais of America

While the world’s attention is on Syria and Iraq, Tripoli is allegedly under the control of Islamist militias. Meanwhile fighting still continues in Benghazi. With Obama golfing, Egypt and the UAE took it upon themselves to carry out some bombings of their own.

Egypt denied the bombings when asked, but at this point tweaking the US has become a national sport there.

(Of course the White House already knows that all this was caused by a YouTube video.)

Libya hasn’t really had anything resembling a functioning government in a while even though much of the media and the diplomats were willing to play along until it became impossible to go on pretending. In 2012, I warned that the elections were a farce and that the war wasn’t over.

The central purpose of the Libyan election is to maintain the illusion of stability even as the fighting goes on. Benghazi, the “cradle of the revolution,” whose clashes with Gaddafi’s forces were used by Obama to justify the bombing of Libya, is still at war. The Libyan provisional government has already threatened that it will use force to suppress the Cyrenaica National Council, which seeks autonomy for Eastern Libya.

Before long the fighting in Benghazi will force the new Libyan government to engage in a crackdown similar to the one that was carried out by Gaddafi. There are reports that this may be happening in parts of Libya already. But don’t look for Obama to run to the UN Security Council for another No Fly Zone, when it’s the NFA and the Brotherhood killing Benghazi civilians.

Benghazi may be bad, but Tripoli isn’t that much better. There is still gunfire in the Libyan capital and rogue militias are out there looting and raiding.

Things have only gotten worse since then. Any central authority in Libya is even more non-existent than in Iraq which is why the Islamist militias have had little trouble rolling over it.

Nor is there any real sign that the fighting will end. The odds are good that militias allied to Al Qaeda will end up holding key parts of the country and if that happens, we’re going back into Libya sooner or later.

For now Obama ignored the persecution of Africans and Christians in Libya. There hasn’t been a big enough united force or a Yazidi moment to change things. But the moment is likely to come before his term is up forcing him to bomb the country that he shouldn’t have bombed in the first place.

“One measure of leadership is the caliber of people who choose to follow you.”
The upset is, those that didn’t are stuck with the freaking mess.

The country needed a leader more than ever – we were handed a deceiver.
When SHTF – evil will turn up the speed.
Hope is – never to change for the worse.
Lies are believed – by those who dance with the liar.
For every brave soul that steps forward – 10,000 linger.

Question is: Will this conflagration of errors produce a millennial leader? Where is Winston Churchill, George Washington…. Matt Quigley?

    • truebearing

There is a paucity of good leaders world wide. Given what he had to start with, Obama may be the worst.

Only suffering will humble people enough to listen to a great leader. At least half of this country would reject a great leader for the great responsibility he would place on them. They want a microwaved utopia.

Tough keeps going, and the going will make the tough.

If by responsibility you mean responsibility to police themselves and decide on their own where their earned money should go, then I am all for that. But if by responsibility you mean forcing the populace to risk their lives in foreign conflicts and part with their earnings to be given to government, then I am opposed to that with all my heart.

And I think suffering as a tool to humble is overrated. Look at Africa, look at war torn countries in the Middle East, look at various drug holes in south Americas, they suffer a lot, do they seem any more humble to you? Do those maniacs who would kill or steal at a moments notice, seem wiser for their suffering?

The United States is already suffering horribly. We are in the middle of a terrible economic deppression, men are being torn apart by a demented divorce policy, women are finding themselves unmarried and alone, do they seem wiser for their suffering?

        • truebearing

Some people are incorrigible. For them suffering will be an inevitably long drawn out process. On the other hand, sustained success certainly doesn’t make most people humble, especially when they didn’t really earn the wealth they enjoy.

Most people in the US are suffering, and they elected the causes of their suffering. No one made them choose to watch some idiotic reality show instead of doing some research on Obama, or anyone else they voted for. Now some are waking up to the terrible mistakes they have made that could end our representative government. Suffering is what brought them out of their delusions.

Why are men and women getting divorced and ending up alone? These are consequences of their actions and the culture they contribute to. People have abandoned ethics and morality. The results are plain to see.

Those places you mentioned where people have lived in misery forever…what do they believe? Maybe they adhere to evil ideas, such as those found in Islam or Communism. They have to make the connection between what they believe and the consequences that has on their lives. Americans have abandoned much of what made this country great and are now casting about, looking for political messiahs or handy-dandy-magic ideologies that will solve all problems. They don’t understand what made this country great to begin with.

It is also the court system, the subsidies to women as well as affrimitive access programs that give women jobs that they don’t deserve all of these things make men expendable to women and put them at great risk in the family courts when women decide to pull the plug. Not to mention a comprehensive infiltration of feminist thought in all the major religious institutiosn (except the Muslims).

I want you to go to dalrock.com and start reading everything there, I want you to understand just what is being done to you if you are a man, and what is being done to your sons and borthers if you are a woman. We are in the middle of a disaster that has been set up for us all by very evil and ruthless people who regard our lives and happiness as being on the same level as the lives and happiness of vermin.

          • tickletik

What I am driving at, is that the people who are the source of these disasters, the marxists, the fat cats, etc. They are not the ones who are going to suffer. If anything, suffering and demoralization of the populace is exactly what the Marxists are striving for.

Because a broken man cannot fight back.

Don’t let these evil people break you.

So it’s fair to say that Obama isn’t so much leading from behind as he is chasing his tail from behind.

Obama knows nothing about the military. He’s purging generals and high ranking officers. What is he going to do if we get into a serious conflict? Pow Wow with Susan Rice and Valerie Jarret? Better include Elizabeth Warren, too. She really knows how to pow wow. Maybe they can come up with some devasting hashtag strategies. Maybe Obama will take over communications with commanders on the front lines. Something like:

“Mr. President. We’re taking heavy fire from the former US Embassy. They’re hitting us with relentless Stingers and RPGs…you know, the same ones you gave them. What do you want us to do?”

“Hang on a second. I’m lying 6 shots on a Par 3 and I have to hit over the sand trap and put some back spin on this one…boy, I suck at these.”

“Mr. President. We’re just about out of ammo…could you send in some air support?”

“Hey, check that out, Lonzo! I’m on the green and lookin’ mean.”

“Mr. President, we need major help now…”

“Alright, alright. Use your pitching wedge to loft grenades on top of the building like I just did with my last shot. You should have seen it. I nailed that baby.”

“We don’t have pitching wedges or grenades you fool! All we have are these rusty flintlocks!”

Still laughing — thanks truebearing, I needed that!

  • Pete

Obama won’t have to bomb again if and only if his smart power policy was perfect the first time.

  • Cid Campeador

How much longer until Obama is forced back to Chicago?
I foresee a military take over.

  • William

Hey Greenfield, don’t give Obama any ideas.
