I’m Going To Make It So “Not One Person is Quote ‘Thrown Out’ or ‘Deported’”

Who needs Obama when we have Republicans willing to go even further than him.

House Speaker John Boehner’s top committee chairman says he wants an immigration bill that would allow millions of foreign migrants to stay and work jobs sought by Americans.

“I’m going to use my assets and resources in the new year to work with this Congress… to have a well-understood agreement about what the law should be, and how we as communities, and farm communities, and tech communities, create circumstances where we can have people be in this country and work, and where not one person is quote ‘thrown out’ or ‘deported,’” Rep. Pete Sessions, the chairman of the powerful House rules committee, told a group of Democratic legislators.

The committee has the power to kill or boost members’ bills because it decides how each bill will be considered in floor votes.

It’s the responsible thing to do.

“There is no one in responsible Republican leadership, elected officials, who has said we should deport 13 or 11 million people,” Sessions said.

13 percent of Americans say it’s okay to cheat on their taxes.

We aren’t going to lock up 39 million people. No one says we should. So it’s time for Tax Reform. We need to reform the IRS so it functions more like the border patrol. We need to provide amnesty for tax cheats.

We need to reform the law to say that it doesn’t matter if you pay your taxes or not and certainly no families should be broken up over it.

The same politicians who push that rhetoric when it comes to illegal aliens or legalizing drugs, draw the line at legalizing a much more minor offense because it hits them in the pocketbook.

Now they can understand how Americans losing jobs to illegal aliens feel.

I hate to be the skunk at the picnic but for months I’ve been warning my fellow conservatives the Reps were going to disappoint. I did support the blowout to at least stop some of the lib madness and slow the decline but that’s all I expected out of them at best.

Establishment Reps are content, as Mark Steyn says, to hold office not power. The Dems use their power at every chance to ratchet the country leftward even if it costs them the power a cycle or two. They take the long, long view and know that once something is done it’s very hard to undo, especially with pusillanimous Reps as the opposition, and will be there for them to pick up where they left off.

Reps on the other hand are happy to warm seats, hold office and tinker around the edges because they’re more concerned with retaining the power even though they will never fully use it. Their priority is the next election and they dread the bad press and frowns of the DC-media complex. Even now they are already more concerned with 2016 and so shrink from exercising raw power to move the country in their direction.

I’d like to think that it’s just because their conservative nature makes them naturally hesitant to forgo the nuances and niceties of Roberts Rules of Order but I’ve been watching too long and know better. I think it’s because we don’t really have a functioning and meaningful two party system or legislature any longer.

I think we have a “good cop, bad cop” game being run on us by the political class with each party the heroes to its acolytes and the villain to the others. They make a public show and play at opposing one another with a wink and a nod while the real deal making goes on backstage. Every so often the actors and roles are shuffled around and those who lose a starring role onstage find a place backstage on K street or as part of the production crew in consulting, gov’t bureaucracies, etc.

Just as I predicted the Reps are readying to pretty much continue on the present course with an occasional tip of the hat to so-called conservative principles but they will not defund or dismantle anything. They won’t even try. At most they will prevent worse depredations, slow the decline and just basically remain in a holding pattern. Depend on it.

And the real irony is that rather than endear them to the electorate and bring more election successes it will cost them that power they clung to but wouldn’t use. They will lose it in a cycle or two having made no real difference in the life of the Republic or even leaving any trace at all. You’d think if they believed their own rhetoric they would at least see that losing the power for having made some changes is better than losing it because they wouldn’t but if you do it’s because you too believed the rhetoric or haven’t been paying attention long enough.

Nobody is saying that Africans in Africa will ever be a minority

Nobody is saying that Asians in Asia will ever be a minority.

So why are they saying Whites will be a minority in Britain in 2036?

      And Sweden in 2024?

That’s because there’s MASSIVE non-White immigration in EVERY White country and ONLY White countries.

Because there’s a program of White geNOcide.

      They say it’s “anti-racist” but it’s simply anti-White.

      Anti-Racist is a code for anti-White…

Dems want to import dirt poor, semi-literal Latino peasants, in order to create a new lower class of people in need of government services (social programs, subsidies, etc.) which candidates and politicians use to get elected an re-elected.

Repubs want to import educated Indians, Chinese, etc. in order to take good, middle class IT and engineering positions, for that’s what business wants – the so called “H-1b” visa racket.

Indeed. “Diversity” is code for Anti White America. “Diversity” also means importing the 3rd World.

      • andrewwhitehead

No country on the planet has ever practiced “diversity” and long survived in the manner in which it was founded. The United States will be no different.

Sessions, Boehner, et al, do not care. They have their high-paying no-work “jobs” with security for life and benefits no other American will ever have (unless they pay for it themselves). They work in a clean office, have staff to do things for them like, go get the coffee, pick up their dry cleaning, shop for them, stand in line at the DMV, etc.
Until illegals can run for office, Sessions/Boehner, etc., have no incentive to do anything for we “dirty masses”. And when illegals get the vote (like they do in California) then folks like Sessions and Boehner won’t even need to pretend to listen to us at voting time.

    • Secret Person

It’s rather unfortunate that Peter Sessions, one of the GOP traitors, shares the same last name as Jeff Sessions, a GOP patriot.

One look at this fool and it is easy to see what the problem is. His ego is out of control and he sees an opportunity for future political popularity. He is intoxicated with the possibility of becoming a senator or governor, then president. This brainless a-hole should be run out on a rail.
