IRA Demands Investigation of Pastor Who Compared Muslim Migrants to IRA

I’m not sure why Sinn Fein is complaining. They see the IRA as a good thing. They see Muslim migration as a good thing. Why would they complain about comparing the two?

Police in Northern Ireland are investigating a potential hate crime after an evangelical Protestant preacher compared “cells” of Muslims in Britain to the IRA.

“In Muslim lands Christians are persecuted for their faith. Their homes are burned, their churches destroyed and hundreds of them literally have given their lives for Christ in martyrdom.”

Speaking on the BBC’s Stephen Nolan show, Pastor McConnell said he was raising awareness of the plight of a 27-year-old Christian in Sudan who faces the death sentence. The woman, who is the daughter of a Muslim man and is married to a Christian, was condemned for “apostasy” by a court.

The pastor added: “But the British Government, and the so-called watery clergymen, close their eyes to this evil that persists in our midst. It is called by our critics ‘the language of hate’.

“Enoch Powell was a prophet and he told us the blood would flow in the streets and it has happened. Fifteen years ago Britain was concerned of IRA cells. Right throughout the nation they done a deal with the IRA because they were frightened of being bombed. Today a new evil has arisen – there are cells of Muslims right throughout Britain.”
Sinn Fein’s Mr McGuinness said police should hold a thorough investigation into the senior pastor’s comments. “Coming in the wake of a recent spate of disgraceful racist attacks against families in parts of Belfast and elsewhere, such inflammatory comments only serve to fuel hatred.”

The attacks, according to the story, apparently consisted of two cases of graffiti. Or as the IRA would call, “kid stuff”.

Pastor McConnell said: “I do not teach my people to have hate policies or to go and hurt people – definitely not.”

“Anybody that comes to our church sees the love that is in our church and the welcome in our church, sees the kindness in our church.

“We have helped people from Islam. We have helped them financially, we have helped them in other ways. We are not against them but we are against what they believe.

“If they had their way, I believe we would be persecuted even in Northern Ireland and particularly in Britain.”

“I think the public of Northern Ireland is fed up with all this stuff, when we have to treat everyone like cotton wool, and yet the people we are treating like cotton wool, in other lands wouldn’t let us breathe – wouldn’t give us a drink of water.”

“I will wait and see what the police say to me. I am prepared and if they put me in jail I will go to jail, but I will not retract what I have said,” he added.

McConnell is actually wrong about the water part. Here’s what the Koran says will happen to non-Muslims in hell.

“As for those who disbelieve, garments of fire will be cut out for them; and boiling water will be poured down on their heads, Whereby that which is in their bellies, and their skins too, will be melted.” (Koran 22)

And if they run out of skin, Allah is going to make more skin. Because that’s the kind of homicidal serial killer he is.

“Every time their skins are roasted through We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment.  Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise.” (Koran 4)

Much like Hannibal Lecter.

It would appear that no one anywhere except “Islamophobes” and Imams and Clerics have actually read the Koran and understand what the traditions say, and what Islamic teachings implore its adherents to do. Why is Islam being protected? Its beliefs are so utterly devoid of tolerance for other faiths, and it reject all contrary thinking, including that of clueless multiculturalist, and liberal politicians.

Q3:28. Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah. except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah.

      Apparently the Koran is Islamophobic

You could even argue that your basic Islamist has a right to
be koranophobic … especially if she had the misfortune to be born a woman … and had not yet reached adolescence … and lived in Iran, or Sudan, or Yemen, or or or

        And consider this scenario:

    • Gee

Remember a vast majority of the adherents of Islam are illiterate. So yes their Imams do tell them what it says.

      • Lea

You have to read the Koran in Arabic to understand it. Allah only likes arab muslims.

        • Gee

I have read it in Arabic – and for Muslims that is the problem – I do understand it and them

The pastor is a man of God and a man of the Word of God.The world of the IRA and indeed Islam cannot abide either, but run howling” foul”as the truth of the man of God and the Word hits them with waves of goodness and love which neither can stomach,These poor folk would rather kill, maim, and destroy because their “god”drives them thus to do.

You are brilliant and witty if not politically correct. This is one time that I could ever agree with an evangelical pastor from NI. Scary part about it is that the pastor did not defame Islam, he merely stated what Islam IS. I hope he doesn’t buckle. Ireland is quickly bowing down to PC ideals that protect the Islamic terrorists which breaks my heart. Hopefully, once the PC rules begin working against their communities, they’ll stand up and say, “no.”

      The left is strong there

Just wait until the Muslims try to take the pork out of sandwiches in Ireland or try to ban the phrase “Merry Christmas,” or Happy Easter. Ireland has already had its share of civil war hell with the Brits. They’re not about to allow any transplant foreigners to pull that crap. Ugh.

So, the head of a terrorist organization (nominally Christian) is “offended” by a minister’s comparison of the IRA, which killed thousands of “non-believers,” with another religion that also regards “non-believers” as legitimate prey to kill, maim, and rape. Of course he’s offended. When has anyone ever ascribed rationality and morality to a terrorist? A terrorist by definition is a criminal.

    • Sean Healy

The IRA were a secular organisation. Their ‘non believers’ were people who didn’t believe in their Progressive national politics. Check out their social policy platform to see how secular Progressive they are.

Oklahoma’s Anti-Sharia law has just been overturned. State has to repay Muslim defendant attorney’s fees for $300,000. CAIR is absolutely thrilled.
