Why? Because my religion - Islam - is a civilized religion. Just like the basic Christianity or Judaism is.
If a Father molests a boy, it's not christianity doing, ordering or even allowing the molestation. It's the Father's own sin. It's not the religion doing it. Same here. It's not Islam doing it. It's a greedy idiot who somehow took the reigns.

Ah, this brings back memories...

Back in the mid-'70s I traveled to Iran via Turkey. That route included a long overland trek on the "Magic Bus" - the lines running from Europe all the way to south Asia. That meant a stop at the border crossing into Iran, which took many hours. (We could see the reputed Mount Ararat in the distance.) While awaiting processing, I witnessed a group of high-end automobiles also waiting to cross.

Iran at the time was flush with oil money, after the rapid rise in prices, and was buying stuff left and right. So much the ports couldn't handle the cargo. And high in demand were automobiles. So cars were purchased by agents in Europe - BMWs, Alfas, Fords, and Mercedes were popular - and driven in convoys using volunteer drivers, usually young westerners. So those "new" cars already had a few thousand miles on them on delivery, but some decided they didn't want to wait to take delivery.

Just like the sanctions on Iraq were killing Iraqis, whilst Sadaam and his evil progeny were building palaces and living it up off the oil for food money and socking away US dollars in shipping containers. How gullible to believe the word of rogue states, especially Islamic ones, when they cry hardship. Deception is a permissible tactic with Muslims to further their cause, and our best and brightest swallow it whole. Iran was down for the count, and Obama let them up. There seems though to be something Un-Islamic about flashy sports cars. Beats a camel, I know, but really, what would Muhammad think about such profligacy? That's right, he was a charlatan, nothing holy about him or his religion so he would have had first pick, in fact he would get the first 20% of the cars for himself. Then he would cruise around with the top down, wind in his turbin, looking for enemies to smite, and booty and women to plunder. Getting his kicks on route 666.
