Iran’s Supreme Leader: Jihad Will End when US is Destroyed

No reason why this nice man who, unlike the latest moderate puppet president, actually runs Iran shouldn’t be allowed to get nukes. He just wants them for peaceful Jihadist purposes.

And we all know Jihad can mean many things. Like killing non-Muslims.

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, all but said on Sunday that negotiations over the country’s illicit nuclear program are over and that the Islamic Republic’s ideals include destroying America.

“Those [Iranians] who want to promote negotiation and surrender to the oppressors and blame the Islamic Republic as a warmonger in reality commit treason,” Khamenei told a meeting of members of parliament, according to the regime’s Fars News Agency.

In response to a question by a parliamentarian on how long this battle will continue, Khamenei said,“Battle and jihad are endless because evil and its front continue to exist. … This battle will only end when the society can get rid of the oppressors’ front with America at the head of it, which has expanded its claws on human mind, body and thought. … This requires a difficult and lengthy struggle and need for great strides.”

Khamenei cited the scientific advancement of the country. “The accelerated scientific advancement of the last 12 years cannot stop under any circumstances,” he said, referring to the strides the regime has made toward becoming a nuclear power.

But meanwhile he’ll send out puppets to play at negotiations while Iran rushes to obtain a nuclear weapon that it can use.

This is the radioactive endgame that Obama, Hillary and Kerry have been enabling. And it will end in mass death.

The Iranian regime is obsessed with destroying its enemies. It is violent, paranoid and desperate. Iranians oppose it. It needs a way to keep them in line and to expand Shiite power in the Middle East and around the world.

And it has a great deal of unfinished business with the United States of America.

Let’s hope Obama is paying attention to this.

I’m sure he is. He’s probably writing them a check for billions right now.

      • Texas Patriot

I hope Obama blows the Iranian nuclear weapons complex to smithereens (a) because he needs to in order to protect Western Civilization and to prevent a nuclear arms race in the Middle East; and (b) because it would shock you guys so badly.

        • truebearing

Yes, it would, but I’m not sure why you would put shocking us anywhere near the exigency of saving the world from Islam.

Because in any war of consequence knowing your friends is just as important as knowing your enemies.

          • truebearing

How narrow is your definition of friends?

          • Texas Patriot

Whoever defangs the mullahs by destroying the Iranian nuclear weapons complex or decapitates the Islamic Revolutionary Party of Iran by removing the current Iranian regime is a true friend of Western Civilization.

        • Drakken

It ain’y gonna happen, period, end of story, Obummer is like the proverbial deer caught in the headlights where Iran is concerned, and his gal pal Val Jarret is taking secret trips to Iran and the UAE to decide God only knows what.

  • truebearing

Pay no attention to that man behind the diaphanous curtain, threatening to destroy all of us. Islam is a religion of peace. Just keep repeating to yourself: “follow the yellowcake road, follow the yellowcake road…”

In a nation where the constitution explicitly vests sole authority and power, especially in foreign policy, into the Supreme Leader and ruling religious council, you can’t just laugh off these comments. They are as compelling and powerful as any national leader. Which is why any agreements with Iran that do not include linkages to improvements in human rights and changes in Iran’s governance away from a religious theocracy are pretty much useless. Just another affirmation that Iran and Khamenei have no interest in peace with the West and are only interested in expanding their sphere of influence and extremist brand of Islam.

There are essentially two scenarios that could play out in Iran. One is that the Iranian people could rise up and throw out the fundamentalist mullahs who have held the Iranian people hostage since the takeover by the Islamic Revolutionary Party of Iran in 1979. The other is that the United States could cut off the head of the snake by taking out the top two hundred members of the ruling party as well as the entirety of the Revolutionary Guard that keeps the mullahs in power. In either event, there is every likelihood that the Iranian people would choose the more moderate path now being taken by the Egyptian people if they had the opportunity.

      • Drakken

Well you either take out the bloody mullahs, or one way or another we will be forced to and your going to be caught up in the middle.

This tops the list of the 7,458,392 reasons why Obama is a traitor and needs to be impeached.

So what he’s saying is, it’s us or it’s them. I vote for us.

  • Skeptic7

Take the mentality of the Santa Barbara killer – that all these things and people MUST change or die – and you can see that an entire Iranian government feels this way. Time to bring back the “soft on crime” “soft on terror” label for the Democrats.
