Netanyahu Responds to White House “Coward” Attack: “I Have Risked My Life Many Times on the Battlefield”

Some of Obama’s minions chose to smear Netanyahu as a “chickens__t” and a “coward”. Now Netanyahu has responded.

“When Israel is pressured to make concessions on its security, it is very easy to give in. There are ovations and ceremonies on lawns – and afterwards come the missiles and the tunnels,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated Wednesday at a memorial event at the Knesset for IDF Maj.-Gen. Rehavam Ze’evy.

A former tourism minister who had also served as Advisor to Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin on Anti-Terror Matters and Intelligence and as chairman of the board of the Land of Israel Museum in Tel Aviv, among other prestigious posts, Ze’evi was murdered by Arab terrorists in 1999 who shot him in the head at the Jerusalem Hyatt Hotel.

“As Prime Minister, I am responsible for Israel’s security,” Netanyahu said. “I care about the lives of every citizen and soldier. I have been on the battlefield many times. I have risked my life for the country and I am not prepared to make concessions that will endanger our state. It must be understood that our supreme interests, with security and the unity of Jerusalem first and foremost, are not among the top concerns of those anonymous elements that are attacking us and me personally, because the attack on me comes only because I am defending the State of Israel. If I did not defend the State of Israel, if I did not vigorously uphold our national and security interests, they would not attack me. And despite all the attacks against me, I will continue to defend our state. I will continue to defend the citizens of Israel.”

In his speech, Netanyahu also said that,

“Israel has long faced attacks on its right to exist.  Some people deny the strong affinity of the people of Israel for its land, an affinity that was formed 4,000 years ago in the Land of Israel and 3,000 years ago with Jerusalem, the capital of Israel. Some people are not willing to recognize the right of our people to a nation-state of their own, who are not willing to recognize the right of the people of Israel to a nation-state for the Jewish people. This was and remains the root of the conflict.”

Benjamin Netanyahu is a true leader and a patriot. To be defamed by the minions of a tin-pot despot that is, unfortunately, called “president” is an embarrassment to our nation. Of course, Obama’s very existence is an embarrassment to our nation. Being called a “coward” by the Obama Clown Show is, pardon the pun, the proverbial pot calling the kettle black.

    • Yehuda Levi

I doubt anyone in Obama’s inner circle has ever worn the uniform.

Netanyahu has worn the uniform and risked his life for his country.

This is all you need to know about the two parties involved. Leftists often accuse others of their own weaknesses. It is called “projection.”

      • Breaker Morant

Are you kidding? Eric Holder was decorated for his heroism in the Ferguson, Missouri incident. A decorated soldier. Obama is a decorated soldier as well. I do think that you know which army they fight for, and who decorated them.

  • bob smith

For a man of his stature and accomplishments to have to defend himself against the musings of leftist ideologues who have done absolutely NOTHING to defend nor uphold their sworn allegiance to the integrity of The Republic let alone ever do a day of work or sacrifice, it serves as a stinging indictment of the travesty we call a democrat.

Bravo Bibi for setting the record straight and letting these cowards know that it is your sworn duty to protect the citizens of Israel, a sworn duty that has been vanquished by leftists.

  • Erudite Mavin

I posted this elsewhere yesterday and will repeat,

The ObamaBrats call BiBi ChickenS*** because

he did not bomb Iran. First, Israel over the years knew

the U.S. had their back and now the Obama adm. has been knifing Israel in the back.

Israel is around the size of the 5th smallest state, New Jersey, while surrounded

by several countries being attacked by Radical Islam, 100s of thousands killed in just the past few years and continuing.

Iran being the head of the snake and backed up by Russia, tiny Israel without anyone backing them up would be totally destroyed as has been the call of Iran to whipe Israel off the map.

Obama and his crowd know this and joke about it.

Obama and his bunch are the types that Sh** on a person and then tell them they stink

    • Biff Henderson

Sh*tbirds that have never stood ground to defend their country think they do so as parrots of this Clown.

      • Erudite Mavin

Remember, Obama and crowd don’t see America as a Country, but part of an extension of the rest of the world.

        • Biff Henderson

What they need is an extension of my foot in their ***.

  • Patriot077

Well, Bibi has class and values. Not descriptors I would use for those name callers in this administration which reminds me more and more of a bunch of teenagers that don’t know enough to know how very little they know.
The fact is, that true c.s. in the oval office did everything possible to keep Israel from doing what needed doing. Bibi warned of the perils at the UN. Made no difference. The stupid foreign policy planners in the WH would rather kiss Iran’s patoot.
It’s incredible to me that the events of 1979 aren’t in their memories. Holding our embassy personnel hostage for over a year. They are not our friends and never will be.
Oh, it’s too late, baby now, it’s too late … maybe Carole King will sing that for 0bama.

    • John Pallyswine

It is all Bibi’s fault. Despite the fact that PM Netanyahu ( Hebrew for ” gift from God” or ” God has given “; yes Yahoo means God), was in the military, something that only Post WW2 Presidents Kennedy and Carter were, Netanyahu does not act like the other leaders in the region. The leaders whom European. American and other Western leaders bow down to and grovel to.

Bibi should order that Christians be killed, spat on, de-flowered and dehumanized, all females must wear bags on their heads or be acidified, all homosexuals be hung, all thieves’ hands be cut off, all unfaithful wives be stoned.

      • Patriot077

They would still hate him. Unless they somehow forced the Jews to leave their homeland and abandon Jerusalem to the savages. That ain’t going to happen. It has been written.

      • Gee

Truman, Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan, and both Bushes were in the military as well.

  • Softly Bob

    Projection, projection, projection.
Just like Muslims, Leftists always accuse others of being that which they are themselves.
Leftists are the biggest cowards on the Planet. Their forked tongues lick unwashed Muslim posteriors better than anybody.

  • garyfouse

I can’t wait to learn who the anonymous official in the White House is who said that. I will wager that he has never worn the uniform of his country.

    • Race_Dissident

But I bet he’s worn nipple clamps and a butt plug.

      • wetoldyaweedcallya

And I think so did his whole platoon!

    • Raymond_in_DC

I wouldn’t be surprised if the slurs came from Obama himself who, indeed, has never worn the uniform. (Mom jeans don’t count.) It might have been Kerry, who wore but dishonored his uniform.

      • objectivefactsmatter

They probably had at least one conference to plan the leaks. Of course this ridiculous president was part of it.

      • wetoldyaweedcallya

Given that military action was spoken about (not attacking Iran), I’ve got a feeling it came from Hagel or someone close to him…but I wouldn’t be surprised if it actually was from the pharoahinchief.

  • Race_Dissident

    Bibi for president.

  • http://ruleofreason.blogspot.com/ Edward Cline

Barack Hussein Obama is a false leader and a coward. And a traitor. And a back-stabber. And a racist. And an anti-Semite. And a hater of the good for being the good. That can be said about everyone in his administration, including John Kerry. What a contrast between him and Netanyahu.

  • kasandra

The irony here is beyond belief. The pajama boys in the White House calling an IDF officer who served in Sayret Matkal a coward and complaining that he didn’t attack Iran when it is the U.S. regime that has done everything in its power to keep Israel from doing so and which, at this very moment, is doing all it can to reach an agreement with Iran that will give it nuclear weapons are unbelievable. I am appalled.

    • Raymond_in_DC

Some of us recall the suggestion from Brzezinski, no friend of Israel, that if Israeli jets flew over then US-controlled Iraqi airspace on the way to Iran then US pilots should shoot them down. This was another way to tell Israel “Don’t you dare!”

That idea had to lead Israeli planners to consider: If they’re targeted by US pilots, do they defend themselves and maybe kill American pilots? (Brzezinski fails to consider IAF pilots are every bit as skilled as USAF pilots.)

  • tagalog

Didn’t Netanyahu serve Israel as one of the IDF commandos who conducted the Entebbe raid? A pretty gutsy guy if you ask me.

    • Gee

Nope – his brother commanded the mission and died there

    • Raymond_in_DC

As Gee noted, it was his brother, Yonathan, who commanded and fell in the Entebbe raid. But Binyamin served in the same special forces unit, the Sayeret Matkal. He fought on both the Six Day and the Yom Kippur wars and participated in a number of counter-terrorism operations.

The only “chickens**t” is the senior official who slings mud then hides behind his anonymity.

    • Chavi Beck
  • Gee

Wish he did more than make good speeches. Back it up by telling Odumba and his stooges to f*ck off and die already

  • Atikva

I heard of these attacks against PM Netanyahu a few days ago and they only deepened my contempt for the attackers. When US “officials” hiding behind anonymity insult the Chief of State of an allied country and pretend to give him lessons in courage, they are only positioning themselves for a most deserved kick in the pants.

On the one side, we have the 18 year old Benjamin Netanyahu who joined the IDF during the Six-Day War and achieved the rank of Captain before being discharged. He was a team leader in the elite Israel’s commando units Sayeret Matkal whose famous Operation Thunderbolt rescued 102 Jewish and French hostages in Entebbe in 1976. Incidentally, the operation was later renamed Operation Jonathan in honor of its leader, Jonathan Netanyahu, PM Netanyahu’s own brother.

Benjamin Netanyahu, for his part, participated inter alia in commando operations Inferno and Gift in 1968 and Operation Isotope in 1972. Additionally, he fought and was wounded on the front lines in the War of Attrition (1970) and the Yom Kippur War (1973).

A parallel can hardly be traced with the US officials who insulted him since they did it on condition of anonymity, but their Commander-in-Chief is known. And his military career can be described as follows:

    Military training: zero
Participation in rescue or other Operations: zero
    War record: zero
Demonstration of courage or resilience under fire, whether physical or spiritual hardship: zero.

Under PM Netanyahu’s leadership, Israel has successfully maintained its existence and its integrity in spite of continuing warfare outbreaks from the jihadists who want its annihilation; also in spite of a worldwide campaign of libels and defamation. The Head of this State the size of Massachusetts has also successfully withstood for the past 5 years the tremendous pressure inflicted by the Head of the American 50-States and incurred its regime’s increasing hostility without batting an eye. Under PM Netanyahu, Israel enjoys a flourishing economy and its population continues to grow steadily. Israel figures at the 11th rank on the 2013 World Happiness Report.

Under the Obama regime, well… need I elaborate about our progress? Should I mention these US Officials and their leader’s subservience toward Russia and the islamist troops anywhere in the Middle East? Or our overrun borders? Or their boss bowing in front of muslim royalty, having the gall to apologize IN OUR NAME to muslim terrorists?

And incidentally, under the guidance of these valiant US “Officials”, America has fallen 6 ranks below Israel on the 2013 World Happiness Report and will fall
well below that during the next 2 years.

So there is only one way to react to insults from such coward, incompetent and treacherous “US officials”: place them and their insults in the toilet where they belong and flush – 2, 3 or more times if necessary.

This just in: In an official statement, BB said, “Any time, cnut.”

How I wish we had a leader that speaks honestly like Netanyahu. I am always inspired when I hear him. That is why he irritates our Communist-in-chief…Netanyahu doesn’t speak in circles or deceptively…he speaks in realistic terms and he knows true north unlike our Marxist president.

Netanyahu: MBA. M. IT, for many years ambassador to the UN. Former Special forces soldier

  • Chris Gait

It is very true that the American people are behind Israel. It is the pack of jackals that have taken control of the country’s government for the last few years that are not. Two elections should be enough to change that.

  • http://www.facebook.com/aemoreira81 aemoreira81

The author doesn’t mention it, but I think that there is a Russian backstory to what you are seeing. Israel has grown closer to Russia of late, and Obama sees Russia as a threat to the USA. Would Obama really tell Benjamin Netanyahu if he needs help, that he should rely on Putin for it instead? Can a country that is allied with Russia be trusted by the USA even if it’s Israel?

  • MrUniteUs1

Does Netayanhu want the U.S. to attack Iran?
    Do you?

In case you would miss it, Kasandra’s answered you below:

“The irony here is beyond belief. And also in case you would miss my disclosure of your own messiah’s record:

      “Military training: zero
Participation in rescue or other Operations: zero
      War record: zero
Demonstration of courage or resilience under fire, whether
      physical or spiritual hardship: zero.”
