North Korean Dictator Threatens War, Celebrates Executions in New Year’s Message

The world is a rich tapestry of cultures. Every culture has its own way of celebrating the new year. Some do it with fireworks, others by waving corporate swag in Times Square and still others do it by threatening nuclear war.

If you’re a North Korean living on 375 calories a day so that your dictator can live a posh life and fund a nuclear program, then you celebrate the new year by kneeling on the floor and worshiping his portrait and his father’s portrait while waiting to starve to death or be taken away to a labor camp where you and several generations of your family will be used as chemical weapons testing subjects.

And then sometimes Dennis Rodman stops by.

In some countries, their New Year’s message is optimistic and forward looking. In a Communist dictatorship, it’s a celebration of executions and threats of war by a midget dictator whose country has yet to develop a teleprompter forcing him to read his nuclear threats from piles of papers stacked in front of him.

It’s the dark comedy of totalitarianism. Whether it’s Hitler, Stalin, Lenin or Kim Jong-nn,  the average Socialist dictator is a pathetic creature who would be laughed out of the room in any other social context. But when he’s backed by a red flag and a bunch of slightly less starving soldiers with machine guns and well-fed secret police, then everyone applauds when he delivers his threats of murder and mayhem.

“Last year we took the resolute measure of removing the factionalist filth lurking in the Party,” said Kim.

“As our Party detected and purged the anti-Party, counterrevolutionary factionalists at an opportune time and with a correct decision, the Party and revolutionary ranks were further consolidated and our single-hearted unity was solidified by 100 times,” he added, referring to his uncle Jang Song Thaek, long considered the country’s No. 2 power.

He also warned the United States and South Korea to stop taking place anti-North Korea military exercises.

“The US and south Korean war maniacs have deployed legions of equipment for a nuclear war in and around the Korean peninsula and are going frantic in their military exercises for a nuclear war against the north,” said Kim.

“Should another war break out on this land, it will result in a deadly nuclear catastrophe and the United States will never be safe,” he warned.

The United States isn’t safe because Bill Clinton let North Korea develop nukes in a deal that has ominous resemblances to the one that Obama is trying to make with Iran.

If Bill Clinton had done his job and ended North Korea’s nuclear program, instead of bombing Yugoslavia at the behest of his Muslim buddies who donated so much money to his presidential library, Kim Jong-un would have nothing more to threaten the United States with than Dennis Rodman.
