Obama Says Abbas Renounced Violence, Abbas Says He’s Just Like Hamas

Obama received terrorist leader Mahmoud Abbas, who refuses to stand for elections, at the White House.

“I have to commend President Abbas. He has been somebody who has consistently renounced violence, has consistently sought a diplomatic and peaceful solution that allows for two states, side by side, in peace and security; a state that allows for the dignity and sovereignty of the Palestinian people and a state that allows for Israelis to feel secure and at peace with their neighbors,” Obama said.

“I also want to point out that the Palestinian Authority has continued to try to build strong institutions in preparation for a day in which the Palestinians have their own state…”

These strong institutions don’t include an independent legislature, which no longer meets, or an independent anything. Actual decisions are being made by the PLO Council. Economic power is purely a matter of political access.

But let’s skip back to Obama’s first paragraph. When has Abbas “consistently renounced violence”?

Around the time that Obama visited him, Abbas gave an interview to Putin’s RT in which he claimed that he was just like Hamas.

“As far as I am concerned, there is no difference between our policies and those of Hamas. So why are they labeled as terrorists? In my opinion, [the EU] can remove Hamas [from the list], why not?”

Abbas is a little more circumspect in his rhetoric most of the time, though a few years ago he threatened a “religious war” when Israel added Rachel’s Tomb to its list of national heritage sites.

He repeatedly celebrates terrorism and he leaves it to his subordinates to make more direct threats of violence. The Palestinian Authority which he runs engages in violence and routinely advocates and celebrates it as well.

So in what possible sense of the word has Abbas renounced violence?

Obama claims that Abbas has “consistently sought a diplomatic and peaceful solution”. That must be why he refused to even discuss peace negotiations until Israel freed a large number of terrorists, many of whom had killed civilians.

Obama setting Israel up to take the blame – Commentary Magazine

    http://www.commentarymagazine.com/2014/03/18/obama-setting-israel-up-to-take-the-blame-abbas-palestinians-peace-process/

Abbas’s refusal to take the steps necessary to make peace is nothing new when you consider that he and his predecessor Yasir Arafat have already turned down three Israeli offers of peace and statehood. This has been a consistent pattern for the PA. As the Washington Post’s Jackson Diehl noted on Sunday, Abbas thinks he can get away with this because the Obama administration has no intention of pressuring him or holding him accountable for Palestinian incitement, terror connections, or diplomatic intransigence.

If the president were genuinely interested in pursuing peace he would be hammering the Palestinians for their behavior and making it clear they would pay a high price for saying no to Kerry’s framework. Instead, he has given Abbas carte blanche to maintain the same obdurate stance he has taken since he took over the PA from his longtime boss Arafat.

You can hammer so-called Palestinians for their behavior all you want, but it will never result in peace, as the so-called Palestinians are little more than the proxies for the Islamic totalitarian world that is waging a perpetual jihad not only against the Israeli infidels in Israel to make Islam supreme, but also against all religions and all infidels throughout the world to make Islam supreme. Thus, for any solution in Israel to work, it would have to be a part of a much larger comprehensive solution imposed by the collective infidel world to destroy Islam as a force. Anything less will inevitably result in failure.

You know there is no chance in “you know where” for your solution to work. In effect there is no solution to the conflict. The Arabs/Muslims/Palestinians will never agree to any solution that allows a Jewish state in their midst.

This is not rocket science. We are dealing with an individual who likes people who agree with him and dislikes those who don’t.

Obama does not like Netanyahu anymore than he likes Karzai in Afghanistan. Netanyahu doesn’t cater to Obama, Abbas does. It is really that simple.

When you have a narcissist as president, it is all about him and his feelings. If you want something from Obama, you better agree with him and do what he wants. There is no room for discussion. His judgment about anything, including military strategy, is always correct. And like any child, if you confront him, he will take his toys and go home.

Pray that our next president has at least some emotional maturity.

Hey Daniel, I just wanted to take a second and thank you very much for the free e-book, I am enjoying it immensely.

I think we need to be realistic. Obama shares the PLO’s goals, and that is the elimination of “pesky” Israel. He’s not a bumbler or a fool, just evil.

Actually, Abbas is a non-violent stealth and deceptive jihadists, as he never ever bloodies his own hands. Now, of course, we are all aware that he has personally financed various bloody and very violent jihad attacks in the past, but again because he didn’t ever get his own hands bloody in the process, he remains a non-violent stealth and deceptive jihadists that has been successfully duping various American infidel Presidents for decades. While it is understandable that you would mischaracterize Abbas as being a terrorists given your almost total obsession with violence, he is nonetheless a non-violent stealth and deceptive jihadists, and as such a particularly very effective one. You can’t deny that.

“the Palestinian Authority has continued to try to build strong institutions” – Care to name any of those? Only 100% of their infrastructure and institutions were built by – gasp – those evil Jews.
