ObamaCare Increased Premiums 39% to 56%

If you like your wallet, too bad. Some of Obama’s campaign donors have lifted it and are driving down K Street with it.

Americans buying health insurance outside the new Obamacare exchanges are being forced to swallow premiums up to 56 percent higher than before the health law took effect because insurers have jumped the cost to cover all the added features of the new Affordable Care Act.

In California, for example, some families are paying a high of $2,604 a month and in New York, $1,845.

Below is a cost summary provided by eHealthInsurance:

— Premiums have increased by 39 percent to 56 percent, compared to pre-Obamacare coverage. As of Feb. 24, the average premium for an individual health plan selected through eHealth without a subsidy was $274 per month, a 39 percent increase over the average individual premium for pre-Obamacare coverage.

And this is just the beginning. We’re still in the initial stages of this nightmare. ObamaCare will only get more expensive and dysfunctional as it goes on.

The cost of my policy has gone up over 100% since the un-ACA was passed, and that’s not counting the increased deductibles and copays. It’s pretty clear people are being herded into these government exchanges.

Amazing!!! If you have to pay for your own health insurance and somebody else besides your costs go up. Even if there is some sort of policy called comprehensive reform. Luckily when minimal healthcare is provided to all then the premiums will go down substantially. Oh wait. That is not how this works.

You have to pay to play, and pay more if you refuse to play. This is how criminal operate.

It had to be this way. Any economist would tell you that if you have the middle income class paying for unlimited healthcare for the lower income class their premiums would have to increase.

In other words, the middle class is subsidizing healthcare for all lower income class people including illegal aliens. If you are in the middle class, you are paying your premiums plus the premiums for your lower income neighbors. After all, the lower income class can obtain healthcare for $1 dollar a month.

It is a redistribution of wealth (a tax) from the middle class to the lower income class. And Obama said he would never increase taxes on the middle class?
