Only 31% of Americans Believe ObamaCare Will Work Better Than VA

That’s a real vote of confidence right there.

The scandal surrounding the Department of Veterans Affairs health care system isn’t making Americans feel more confident about ObamaCare, a just released Fox News Poll finds.

Less than a third of voters believes that the government will do a better job with ObamaCare than the VA did managing care for vets (31 percent). Over half believe it won’t (55 percent).

By a 55-38 percent margin, people wish the Affordable Care Act had never passed and the 2009 system were still in place. That includes a quarter of Democrats (25 percent), a majority of independents (58 percent) and most Republicans (85 percent).

Over half of voters under age 35 (53 percent) along with a majority of those ages 65 and over (58 percent) regret ObamaCare passed.

In addition, by a double-digit margin, more voters say the country is worse off under the new health care law: 44 percent worse off vs. 29 percent better off.

There’s Obama’s historic legacy in a nutshell. The majority agrees that his signature program made the country worse.

The only reason the ACA has a better chance of working than the VA is that, in theory, the ACA primarily relies on private providers. Even if you’re on Medicaid you’re going to a doctor willing to take it. The VA is entirely government run and we can see how that’s working. I don’t know anyone who has to wait more than two days for an appointment and the VA standard is 14 days… which they aren’t meeting. I hope people are beginning to understand that if Democrats get single payer they’re looking at VA quality healthcare delivery.

Usually, the average American voter will forget something they dislike after a few months because it slips from their range of attention. This won’t happen with Obamacare, it’s going to bite people on the butt every time they need medical attention. With some luck and time there will be a desire by the vast majority to get rid of it. I hope.

This just in. 29% percent of voters are complete morons.
