Only Charlie Crist Can Go to Communist Cuba

Charlie Crist has been a Republican, an Independent and a Democrat, switching parties after every defeat. If he loses this time, he might be thinking of going Communist. He’s not quite red, but orange might be close enough.

Now Crist is going to Cuba. After originally playing anti-Communist and anti-Castro, Crist is throwing out yet another plank of his platform now that he’s a Democrat. Now Crist is all about the Communism.

“I understand that it’s important not to go to Cuba when she’s under the dictatorship, but unfortunately the man I’m running against doesn’t understand that. But I know that you do,” Charlie Crist said in 2006, lobbing a powerful political bomb at an opponent who had traveled to Cuba.

But that was then. This is now.

Crist has changed his position on everything from the Affordable Care Act to abortion rights to gay marriage in order to fit in better with his new party.

And now Crist is doing the “Viva Castro” thing.

His evolution on Florida’s southern neighbor started in February, when Crist said he wanted to end the trade embargo. Earlier this week, Crist went a step farther and said he is considering visiting Cuba himself this summer.

And what a symbol Crist chose: Versailles is the same restaurant where he bashed his opponent, then-Rep. Jim Davis (D), for going to Cuba back in 2003.

At this point lies and hypocrisy are Crist’s brand. Believing in nothing is his whole agenda.

When he ran for Senate in 2010, he stuck to his hard line on Cuba in an interview with the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

“The problem is, you have this totalitarian regime that is down there that locks up journalists, suppresses freedom, doesn’t allow for open dialogue, and I think unless and until that begins to occur, it is not in Florida’s or I don’t think America’s best interests to be embracing of that kind of government.”

But now it’s in Charlie Crist’s interests to do as a born again Socialist.

  • Ban Liberals

As a Floridian I can tell you first-hand this guy is a lying sack of garbage.

Not to mention he is a liberal through and through.

Imported 75,000 Haitians, moaning about flooding there, promising it was “a temporary measure,” and then ‘forgot’ to send ‘em back.

If Florida elects this opportunist again, we and many other clear thinking Floridians are leaving because it will mean that the eastern liberals have invaded, polluted,k and conquered Florida and ruined it, too.

Why do we call them RINOs when it is actually the Republicans in power who are this way. This is the party. This is how it functions. Maybe we can try DIMOs. Democrats in Modus Operandi.

    Most politicians are whores.

I can’t help thinking that when the New Left communists went underground and took over the Democrat party that some of them might have also burrowed their way deep into the Republican hierarchy as well. It might be interesting to look at the associations and activities of some of the RINOs in their youth. I wonder if Ion Pacepa has any knowledge on this?
