Palestinian Authority in Violation of 11 out of 15 Treaties it Just Signed

"This one I'll violate now and this one I'll take home and violate."

“This one I’ll violate now and this one I’ll take home and violate.”

Look on the bright side. At least Abbas is (possibly) not in violation of the other four.

Despite U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s best efforts to bring Israel and the Palestinians together at the negotiating table and Israel’s support for continued peace talks, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has once again broken his word to Israel and the United States. In addition to rejecting the basic premise of “two states for two peoples,” and instead of meeting with the Secretary to move forward towards peace, Abbas chose to pursue unilateral recognition by signing onto 15 international conventions and treaties.

Revealed here for the first time in a special report: The Palestinians are in clear violation of at least 11 of the 15 treaties they just signed.

Terrorists in violation of treaties? I’m shocked. They’re violated every agreement they signed with Israel, but I just assumed that was because they were having an off twenty years.

Here are some highlights of Abbas’ amazing tour of international conventions to sign and violate.

The Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations

That one should be easy to keep. Just don’t store weapons in your embassy.

Palestinian Violations: Czech police found explosives, assault rifles, and handguns at the Palestinian mission in Prague

The Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women

It’s the Muslim world so you know where this is going…

Palestinian Violations: Violence against women (domestic violence, sexual assault, etc.) is rampant in the Palestinian territories. Offenders are treated with impunity. In 2013, honor killings in the West Bank and Gaza doubled. Palestinian women have no divorce rights. Strict Islamic laws codify inequality and restrict freedom in all aspects of life for Palestinian women.

But at least there’s nothing in there about Hitler…

The International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination

Palestinian Violations: Under to Palestinian law, selling property to Jews is punishable by Death. Abbas, Haniyeh, and other senior Palestinian officials have been heavily involved in anti-Israeli and anti-Jewish incitement for decades. Such incitement, including praise for Nazis and Hitler, is regularly spewed forth by senior Palestinian officials,

If a Palestinian state is recognized, finally there will be a country where everyone really likes Hitler. And isn’t that what the international community stands for.

The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide

See above.

The Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment

Yeah… that was never going to happen.

The United Nations Convention against Corruption

Palestinian Violations: The Palestinian political system has long been defined by endemic corruption. Billions in aid sent to the Palestinian territories by Western nations have been squandered and diverted. Even the European Union, a large financial supporter of the Palestinian Authority, has publicly accused the PA of mass corruption and mismanagement, claiming that they squandered close to $2 billion in European aid.

Maybe next time start with an easier international agreement. Like the International Convention of Blaming Everything on Israel, or the United Nations Stuff All the Euros in a Suitcase and Act Innocent Pact.

Abbas could clear either of those easily.

This is great! Now bring them up on charges before the International Criminal Court in the Hague.

    • darnellecheri

Fat chance of the scales of “justice” swinging against them. The PA are clamoring to be an ICC member – the UN General Assembly upgraded their status to non-member state – so they can refer Israel on charges of war crimes, human rights violations, and just about every other crime under the sun.

      • William_Bradford

You miss the point, bring them up one item at a time. They want nation-state recognition, with it goes responsibility. Bring charges against all of the recently released Palestinian terrorists, one at a time. Then bring up charges for each infraction, item, by item, treaty by treaty. It’s just another battle field. They don’t get to decide. Let them feel the international heat that goes terrorism and with nation-state-hood.

        • darnellecheri

          Message received.

Because the “international community” is all about weighing evidence before jumping to conclusions. And “international institutions” aren’t swayed by mere political considerations.

It’s a beautiful world. Especially in the “international community.”

          • shutupandknit

like our “special relationship” with Israel? Where they get to kick us in the shins all the time and we give them 30B in aid? And they want Pollard too. Such simple people!

          • objectivefactsmatter

“…like our “special relationship” with Israel? Where they get to kick us in the shins all the time and we give them 30B in aid?”

Yeah, the one where we kicked them out of the Sinai because that was “our” idea for being friends with the Muslim world. See how that worked out?

Like out “special relationship” with Saudi Arabia – from whence 15 of the 19 hijackers of 9/11 ass lifted from? And the BILLIONS of AFTER TAX dollars are sent to OPEC for their overpriced $100 per barrel oil?

            Such simple minded Socialists.

          • Drakken

Hey if you love those effing pali savages so much? Go bloody well put your money where your jihadist collaborating mouth is. How much you want to bet that your too much of a coward to do it?

      • shutupandknit

Since Israel commits no human rights or war crimes, then they are already members of the ICC too, right?

You think that KGB Putin will be tried at the ICC – for invading and annexing Crimea and threatening the Ukraine?

    • Drakken

Take that abomination called the Hague and tell them to go hang.

      • William_Bradford

Understand, but the Palestinians think that they can use the international community to crucify Israel. That can only happen it Israel lets it happen.

It is always entertaining to watch lefists who get caught up in their manufactured web of repression, a web that is fraught with mechanism designed, they think, only to punish their enemies. File hundreds of terrorist charges against those just released, and sitting Palestinian officials – in short use the mechanism to punish them.

  • kasandra

So now that they’ve broken off the negotiations will the PA give the murderers released from Israeli jails to procure the “peace process” back to Israel to serve the rest of their sentences? Didn’t think so.

    • Daniel Greenfield

      Never works that way

    • objectivefactsmatter

      Snipers anyone?

  • objectivefactsmatter

I missed the four that they’re not violating.

  • wileyvet

They’re just following the example of their prophet Mohammed. P*ss be upon him.

      wileyvet AKBAR!

  • Habbgun

Isn’t the PA in violation of the Ethical Treatment of Ethnic Russians living permanently or temporarily settled or even just visiting a small and not very well kept hostel agreement? Doesn’t that treaty have an expulsion clause if the terms aren’t met? Just asking.
