Pelosi: Illegal Alien Amnesty More Important Than Winning the Election

Nancy Pelosi says a lot of stupid things, but this isn’t one of them.

Adding millions more Democrats to the voting rolls and millions more welfare recipients is the long game. Losing an already lost midterm election means losing a battle, not the war. It’s a worthwhile sacrifice play.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who spoke just before the vice president, said she “desperately” wants to pass new immigration laws this year and implied she would be willing to sacrifice more seats in the House to do it.

“I believe it is more important to pass comprehensive immigration reform to me and to my caucus than to win the election in November,” she said.

Pelosi added she would be willing to make any compromise necessary except on the inclusion of a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants — a key division between Democrats and Republicans.

Because at some point Voter ID laws might really kick in and a lot of Democrats will suddenly start losing elections unless the deck is stacked with enough legalized illegals beforehand.

I cannot think of any non-treasonous reasons why you would want to fill the country with illegal aliens – most of whom are uneducated and can’t even speak English.

    • Obamaocare

Because there aren’t any that’s why.

    • BS77

Ta Ta Ta…it’s not “illegal alien”….it’s “undocumented Democrat voter”

“…most of whom are uneducated and can’t even speak English.” They wouldn’t need to be educated or know how to read, write, or speak English. The Democrats will have helpful docents at the polling places to coach them in how to vote, and why, which buttons to press or levers to pull or which dots to press their pencils through the paper ballots.

The bitch is mad – at America. Otherwise she is just pathetically stupid.

Progressives *hate* America as it is. You may think they are joking when they say they hate America, but they are not. Everything America is and stands for angers them. To then it is an unjust country founded by dead old white men with a racist and unfair Constitution and it makes war on the rest of the World for no good reason.

Of course, this is complete madness. America is one of the most just and egalitarian countries on the planet. But the Cultural Marxist indoctrination of Progressives is so complete they simply cannot see what is fair and focus obsessively about any perceived unfairness (never considering many factors, like individual motivation, for wealth disparity, for example).

Thanks for links to Evan Sayet. I have been around long enough to witness the triumphant march of liberalism from a few silly propositions toward full idiocy. The most amazing thing to watch has been that at the same time they would win all major cultural battles. Evan Sayet analyzes the strange phenomenon very deftly.

Pelosi knows that a permanent Democratic super majority is one bill away. If Soros and his minions achieve Amnesty, they can continue to leave the border open so Republicans, conservatives, libertarians, etc remain a distinct and permanent minority. Those who argue that new immigrants become more conservative in the second generation ignore the fact that new immigrants will continue to flood in, offsetting any natural trend toward conservatism, thereby maintaining an insurmountable political advantage.

Someone needs to slap Boehner, Ryan, and some of the other idiots who support amnesty. Maybe they’ll wake up.

  • Michael Copeland

“Amnesty” is capitulation, failure to uphold law, a dishonest
term, imparting a charitable gloss to dereliction of duty.

From the serial “Game of Thrones” the line “…he’s willing to burn the world to the ground if he can be the king of ashes…” certainly deserves a second thought when Pilosi is concerned.

OK for others to commit political long game suicide, because she can run naked through any main street in her district stark naked at high noon firing an AK-47 off each hip and still get reelected. 1300 Obamacare exemptions in her district alone.

I’m sure this is just a drop in the bucket. This is the state of Washington. Imagine how many more south of here. How about nationwide?

Right. So what do we do, David?

Freedomworks is cowering behind a pile of well-thumbed Atlas Shrugged paperbacks as AFP does the dirty work they both want: hammering the grassroots to keep quiet about amnesty. The Kochs are quietly colluding with the Chamber of Commerce to see this through while undoubtedly reassuring them that they’ve got the Tea Party subdued and properly distracted.

Meanwhile Frontpage has spent a week telling us that we need to be properly submissive to black men who safety-pin their pants to the bottom of their underpants, because, hip-hop. I know details like that because, unlike the boyos who wrote that offensive crap, I lived and worked — by necessity — in bad neighborhoods and had to deal with such threatening, non-entrpreneurial, hate-filled thugs daily.

The RNC is cool with no borders. Paul Ryan’s pockets are stuffed with sell-out cash. Rand Paul’s jealous, but his check is also in the mail. Grover Norquist is rubbing his moist palms and bellowing movie laughter from his dank lair. C-PAC’s leadership, Al Cardenas, has been machinating behind the scenes for years for the moment when his little wooden boy Marco would lead us from the darkness of national sovereignty to the light of tens of millions of new welfare recipients dropping the bottom out of the blue collar labor market — or what’s left of it. Houseboys for everyone, including the conservative writers at certain online magazines who dream of getting that next illegals-sensitive screenplay green-lighted by the big boys.

The Bushes are planning for a Jeb-Neil-Marvin trifecta if they play their cards right, and then summers next to the Kennedys, as usual.

    So. What do we do?

      Natch.

        Huh?
