Poll Says Obama is Worst President in 70 Years

bush_

Obama has been running against Bush for so long that he finally managed to beat him in one election. As the worst president since WW2.

33 percent said that Obama was the worst president with 28 percent for George W. Bush.

Obama did even better among independents who listed Obama as the worst president by 36 percent to only 23 percent for Bush.

A majority also said that Obama was a worse president than Bush. 41 percent of independents agreed with that. Only 31 percent though that Obama was better than Bush.

In 2011 a majority still thought that Obama was better, but now the Hope and Change is dead.

45% to 38% also say that the country would have been better off today if Mitt Romney had won. 47% of independents agree while only 33% disagree.

    A vast UNDERSTATMENT

  • http://libertyandculture.blogspot.com/ Jason P

Further good news: 35% put Reagan as best President with 18% for Clinton and 15% for Kennedy. My interpretation is that right-leaning people are solidly behind Reagan with no close second. Left-leaning are split between Clinton and Kennedy. However, Kennedy was a conservative Democrat (even more so by today’s standards). Come to think of it, Clinton (because of the House) was quite conservative with Alan Greenspan calling him the best Republican President he had to work with.

Johnson gets a puny 3% with even blacks preferring Eisenhower to Johnson. If one thought that big government programs will earn eternal love and respect, one might want to reconsider.

While I’m often discouraged by the fact that the left has our children during the four most formative years, their college years, I’m heartened to see that Reagan gets a 36% best President rating among college educated. Lesson: a true principled conservative can win and get lasting respect.

Maybe people eventually learn that you usually don’t win by being 100% on defense especially a passive, desultory defense.

      The president loves sports analogies.

Has any boxer ever won a fight by being 100% on defense?

Hopefully, that is an analogy that even a die hard liberal can understand.

But I don’t know, I got into a debate with some yesterday and they were quite obtuse.

    • JackSpratt

Yep, JFK was a economic supply sider, and an anti-communist. He was also friends with Nixon and sent him a congratulatory note in 1950 upon Nixon’s successful prosecution of Alger Hiss. As an aside, Bobby Kennedy was also an anti-communist and as a Senator was on Senator McCarthy’s committee investigating communist activities. Joe was also a Godfather to one of Bobby’s daughters.

  • JackSpratt

Odumbo is easily the worse president ever. Most of us knew that, by his resume, a year before he was elected. He had two books that told he was racist, anti-American and marxist. Throw in his two interviews, with the San Francisco Chronicle, and NPR in Chicago, speeches, etc. Joe the Plumber even smoked Odumbo out as a marxist. He’s also a malignant narcissist. Where most democraps, like Klinton, have tried to hide their communism, Odumbo is so ingrained that he wears his marxism on his sleeve.

  • truebearing

Obama is melting down over his cratering popularity. His demeanor has changed from the self-deluded smugness of an oblivious narcissist, to the narcissistic rage that was inevitable once reality penetrated his ideological defenses and self-worship. Americans are rejecting him, and he is furious.

Now the number of racists will suddenly multiply, as he needs to dehumanize the increasing percentage of Americans he now hates. Conversely, his loyalty to those he believes are like him, ie Muslims and minorities, will now increase. Obama will double down on his war with America. Our enemies will be the beneficiaries.

The Supreme Court and Congress are co-equals to the executive branch — co-equal being an unreconcilable concept to a malignant narcissist — and both are at serious odds with Obama’s dictatorial, illegal presidency. A constitutional crisis is looming.

    • wileyvet

Kind of like Muhammad. Struck back at the Quraysh, the Jews of Medina, and had assassinated anyone that spoke ill of him. Couldn’t tolerate rejection or criticism either. Maybe Obama is the Twelfth Imam.

      • truebearing

The more he’s opposed, the more he will show his true nature. Being pathologically narcissistic, he sees everything as his. Like a spoiled toddler, Obama has tantrums when his power is curtailed. His baby rattle and pacifier are now his pen and phone. Now he will use them as weapons to punish those who want to block him from doing what he wants. As with all malignant narcissists, he has a sadistic, vindictive nature, so he will likely try to inflict pain on those who seek to stop him, or America in general. The more he punishes his enemies, the more opposition he will get. This will get ugly. I tend to doubt that he has a point where he can acknowledge failure and change course. He’s probably capable of rationalizing just about anything.

Is Obama the Twelfth Imam? That is a question I asked myself after running across something on the internet a few years ago that was written several hundred years ago about the Mahdi returning wiith a great army from the West. The description of the Mahdi fit Obama very well. His deftness at effortlessly releasing evil is unmatched. When it comes to deception and destruction from within, he makes the Trojan Horse look like the Little League.

  • Doug

So what’s going to be done about it?
    Nothing!

  • Steve Lowe

Never thought i would live long enough to see a worst president than Jimmy Carter but i have Obama is so feckless and inept it is scary.

  • Abberline

All well and good I suppose but I would bet any one here that if Obama could run for a third term in 201 he would still win. There is a great deal of cognitive dissonance in America.

  • Race_Dissident

So it appears the worst two post-WWII presidents have been the last two. That doesn’t bode well for America’s future.

    • JackSpratt

Johnson, Karter, Klinton or Odumbo, take your pick. We were very lucky to have GW Bush when 9/11 happened. Gore or sKerry would have continued Klinton’s appeasement policy. There would have been no response to 9/11 and we would most likely have been hit again, at least once. Throw in that having inherited a downturned economy (stock market crash of 2000), and GW had us a robust economy, low unemployment rate (4.5%-created 11 million new jobs). In fact GW holds the record among all presidents of 5 straight years of good economic growth. This notwithstanding two major hurricanes and the 9/11 attack. Then the seeds sown by Karter with the CRA (subprime lending) and watered and fertilized by Klinton (forced subprime lending) bore fruit (created a housing bubble) and came home to roost, bursting and sinking the economy in 2008. If not for war stimulation, it would have been worse. The record shows that the Bush taxcuts (across the board) were doing their job, increasing federal tax revenues. Just like Harding, JFK and Reagan, before him.

  • tagalog

Only in the past 70 years? What, are we stopping at FDR? Would it be picking on him to go farther back?

    • JackSpratt

There is no doubt that Odumbo models himself and his socialism after FDR. FDR, as you recall, wouldn’t stand for the High Court finding his New Deal policies unconstitutional. He first tried to expand the Court to get control of it. Failing in that, he publically assailed some of the older Justices, and a couple finally did succumb saying life was too short for this. It was the beginning of the modern democrap party’s politicization of the Court system. A narcissist, FDR, also broke the tradition started by George Washington, and exceeded the 2 terms, believing the country couldn’t do without him. Necessitating the 22nd Amendment.

      • objectivefactsmatter

FDR is certainly in the running for most overrated president.

  • ObamaYoMoma

Yep it’s pretty close, both Obama and GWB were incredibly incompetent, but Obama has won this contest in a close race.

    • JackSpratt

NOT even close. Only leftists and big L Libertarians would think that.

      • ObamaYoMoma

I was wondering why you were so dumb when it came to Islam and the perpetual jihad they are waging against all infidels. Now I know, you are a neocon. Meanwhile, like a typical neocon you not only believe you are more conservative than me, which is ridiculous, but you also worship GWB who didn’t have a conservative bone in his entire leftwing body. Okay, now I know where you are coming from. By the way, just so you know, GWB is responsible for the two greatest strategic blunders ever in American history and I feel that way not because I’m a Ron Paul kook, because I’m not, but because it is true.

        • JackSpratt

I was pretty sure from your comment you were stupid, you didn’t have to confirm it. Big L Libertarians (Kooks) are far to the right of conservatives (read, anarchists). That’s why GWB would appear to be a liberal to you, but yes, he wasn’t a solid conservative. You kook Libertarians have more in common with leftists than you do with true conservatives.
I have heard the term neocon bantied about for several years. In researching the term on the internet, I found the definitions to be all over the place. It appears it has no more meaning or use than to be a slur against conservative Jews and/or a handy method to disparage conservatives who aren’t kooks. I am neither a kook nor a Jew. I support Israel and Jews, and despise kooks.

          • ObamaYoMoma

Again, you inevitably got it wrong, and I even told you I wasn’t a Ron Paul Libertarian kook moonbat, at the same time I’m also not a blind neocon supporter of GWB like you either. GWB didn’t have a conservative bone in his incredibly liberal body, which is why he is responsible for the two greatest strategic blunders in Iraq and Afghanistan ever in American history, for growing the size, scope, and power of the government like a stuffed Dhimmicrat on steroids, and for the financial collapse. I can see that Karl Rove is one of your idols as well.

By the way, moonbat, I’m a Ronald Reagan conservative that not only believes in smaller and less government, but who also believes in a strong military as well since it is better than having to fight wars, and just like Reagan I also see the world with crystal clear vision.

Thus, unlike you I was able to see that GWB’s fantasy based nation building missions to rebuild Muslim countries, who are our eternal mortal enemies, to lift up Muslims, who are also the enemies of all infidels, and to turn the Islamic totalitarian world into a bastion for liberal democracy, which is utterly impossible, were a fool’s errand destined to fail even before they were ever implemented, and exactly like they did.

Hence, I’m not surprised in the least that a clueless neocon GWB supporter like you who worships the ground that mental incompetent walks on, would be too mentally incompetent to see the error of his ways, much less recognize his own folly. Thanks for revealing your own true character though. It’s exactly as I assumed.

          • JackSpratt

Your biggest problem is you have a bad case of myopia, and are blinded by ignorance…or is it stupidness. It is you who reveal your character, such that it is, by your rhetoric. You can deny it all day long, but it is plain to see that you are indeed a kook…a Moonbat. There is no doubt that you voted 3rd Party in 2008 and 2012, (probably 2000 and 2004 as well) thus electing and re-electing this bozo marxist. This anti-American SOB.
While Mr Bush is no genius, he’s not the nincompoop you make him out to be, and you dishonor yourself and the United States, by claiming that he is. Mr Bush may not have been as conservative as we would have liked, but is a decent and honorable man. His Military GT score was 125 (5 points higher than Gore and sKerry). He was smart enough to get a college degree, with decent GPA. He was smart enough to fly the most difficult and dangerous airplane in the U.S. arsenal at the time. He was smart enough to be able to fly that plane all over, out over the ocean, and find his way home again. He never lost one of his ariplanes. He was smart enough to become governor of Texas, and president of the United States. He never went to war in Afghanistan and Iraq without alot of consultation and advice. If you think different, you’re stupid. You would have appeased the Islamofascist terrorists as Klinton had done, or as Gore or sKerry would have done had they been elected. You were probably right in there with the democommies cheerleading and emboldening the terrorists, calling for Mr Bush’s head.
I worship at the Altar of God and have no pagan gods. And you can throw your utterly stupid and juvenile ‘neocon’ crapola around all day, it has no meaning to me.

“45% to 38% also say that the country would have been better off today if Mitt Romney had won.”

38% of the people in this country are too stupid to be saved. Let’s round them up and deport them to North Korea, where Obama’s ideas are in full flower.

    • SCREW SOCIALISM

Actually Eurabia is where Obama gets his ideas.

  • GSR

Its was a shame that this man was elected in 2008. It was (is) a tragedy for the USA that he was re-elected in 2012. He’s anti-White, anti-Christian, anti-Jewish, anti-Western civilization.

    • JackSpratt

And especially anti-American. He loathes our military, free institutions, and constitution.

    • BS77

      Tell that to Steven Spielberg……….

    • SCREW SOCIALISM

That’s why Obama sat in Rev. Wrights church of hate for 20 years.

Obama and his posse would have been handing arrows to the Injuns at The Alamo.

And tortillas at the Little Big Horn.

  • Debra Carfagno

People like obumer and gwb will continue to “win” elections until there is a standard in place, not just term limits, but where each polling place is fully monitored, everyone who has the legal RIGHT to vote has an I.D. be it a card, fingerprint whatever, and a polling place manager who must be background checked, fingerprinted and so on. That way ANY and ALL discrepancies can be laid on there head, and be held responsible for paying the costs of not only fraud, but also the costs of having to re-vote. Also please include campaign spending limits, lets face it, there’s alot of folks out there much more competent to do the jobs that our elected officials refuse to do, if only they had a fighting chance against big money. This is the minimum needed if we truly want our democracy to work in the future.

  • DogmaelJones1

“Only 31 percent though that Obama was better than Bush.” In every country there is a percentage of the population that is as dumb as a doorknob. Liberals are like Muslims: All that inbreeding produces idiots, morons, and cerebrally challenged twits and lost causes.

    • JackSpratt

There is easily 31% of socialists, communists, marxists and maoists living in this country. Probably another 10-15% useful idiots and fellow travelers.

  • objectivefactsmatter

Still too many idiots in America.

  • ensitue

In 2009 I came to the realization that Obama was going to do his very best to destroy America and enslave it’s people using Collectivism and Islam as his weapons of choice, I wept, and started to prepare. Now Obama has started playing his end game both in the ME and here at home. Obama’s minions show themselves to be broken people, full of envy, rage, hate and entitlement and they in turn victimize 1000′s if not millions of innocents, manipulating them with lies and empty promises so that they swear allegiance to the cause of eliminating the Middle Class and the nation itself. I used to believe Europe would fall before America but now I realize that I was wrong. This summer will be the start of things, an internal war orchestrated by Obama. Real Evil has arrived, evil in the Biblical sense is here.
