State Dept Urges Israel to Avoid Escalating Tensions After Muslim Murder of Israeli-American Baby

img540211

That’s our State Department. Or Saudi Arabia’s State Department. I’m never sure. But it is staying focused on what counts; warning Israel not to “escalate tensions” by fighting back.

The United States on Wednesday condemned the terrorist attack at a Jerusalem Light Rail station.

“We express our deepest condolences to the family of the baby, reportedly an American citizen, who was killed in this despicable attack,” State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in a statement quoted by AFP.

“We urge all sides to maintain calm and avoid escalating tensions in the wake of this incident,” she added.

All sides. The side of the killers and the side of the victims.

I don’t doubt that Hamas will listen to the sage advice of Jen Psaki and stop killing people. And if it doesn’t, Psaki can always be counted on to condemn Israeli action against Hamas.

The baby’s grandfather said, “They waited for this girl for a few years … they just returned from the Western Wall, the first time that the child was at the Western Wall, brought her back toward the Temple Mount, and unfortunately, the  hatred of the Arabs … no pity or anything. this holy soul and pure girl did not do anything wrong, was murdered for no reason.”

Halperin said that “the car began speeding, hit the stroller, the child flew through the air and fell with her head on the pavement. Bled very badly in the brain. The doctors at the hospital did their best and I want to thank them. Her parents are traumatized, they are shaken completely.”

This ceasefire that Obama pushed for is working great.

Somebody should kill you for spewing venom. One less piece of crap in this world.

      • truebearing

If “spewing venom” should be a capital offense, the insane followers of Islam would be destroyed. Hmmmm, you make a good point.

        • amdaman

Kill ‘em both, I couldn’t care less. This world needs neither.

          • truebearing

But you are spewing venom, too.
Do you choose the punishment you prescribe for others?

Do I need to give you the expanded version? If you want to kill them both, then go ahead, it doesn’t matter to me. How’s that spewing venom?

Take back the Temple Mount and banish all Muslims from that area.

    • Bamaguje

For the life of me, I don’t understand why Israel’s allows a Muslim waqf for the holiest Jewish site.
That’s part of what emboldens Muslims to make outrageous claims on theTemple mount.
Bear in mind that non-Muslms are completely barred from Mecca and Medina.

      • Larry Larkin

I’ve been advocating for years the bulldozing of the muslim boils on the top of the Mount and the building of the Third Temple.
And for the record, I’m of Irish Catholic descent with no Jewish blood what so ever.
What I do recognize, however, is an evil philosophy when I see it, and after more than 40 years of looking very, very closely at the religio-political evilness that is islam I’ve yet to see the slightest redeeming feature in it.

      • philly gal

you would have to ask Moshe Dayan why he gave over the Mount to the Waqf…biggest mistake and he did not live to see what he did…another liberal mistake…there is no end to them…

“Her parents are traumatized, they are shaken completely.”
God comfort them. It breaks my heart to even read this story.
What evil bastards our Israeli friends have to deal with today and every day. Practice restraint? They do that every moment. I wish the State Dept numbskulls had to spend one month in Jerusalem to see it and feel it themselves. Put their own kids in the kindergartens that are being stoned or at risk of Hamass tunneling through. I despise their ignorance and heartlessness.

    • PAthena

The State Department, historically against Israel and Jews, is following the lead of President Barack Hussein Obama, follower of Rashid Khalidi, P.L.O. representative, and Mohammedan manqué.

  • truebearing

What a horribly sad story. The parents are undoubtedly heartbroken, and will never fully recover from this loss and encounter with evil.

What is also unutterably sad is that people can sink to such depravity, such evil. These fools are no longer humans. They have become demonic, and it is by choice. There will be a wailing a gnashing of teeth when they are held to account.

72 virgins? I think not. 720 demons with fire-tipped whips is more like it. Flog on…

  • UCSPanther

Hamas has always been a pack of cowards. They gleefully cheer the murder of civilians who don’t usually have a chance of fighting back, and then start playing victim when they get a well deserved flogging for their crimes…

The US reactions is always very predictable. Hold the Israelis back to let the scum of the earth Palestinians keep hitting them. Something needs to be done. How about deporting all the really hard core Palestinian terrorists in Israeli custody to the US and just turning them loose in Times Square? See how we like dealing with them for a while.

  • Gee

I suggest we exercise restraint – yes I know this is hard. We should exercise all the restraint that the US exercised on 12 September 2001 and 8 December 1941.

That is the kind of restraint we should exercise.

  • jjeffs63

Hey Jen….does this baby have a name? I bet it would if it were moslem. We could then watch you turn your tongue into a knot trying to pronounce it

  • EightBall343

Show restraint? I am certain Israel will follow Obama’s edict.

  • Michael Garfinkel

There seems to be no limit to the depths this despicable State Department – indeed the Obama administration in toto will descend to.

They seem compelled to stick their thumb in the eye of every single decent instinct and precept.

It becomes innervating just trying to keep up with it.

There’s no point in looking for anything of value in Obama; he is incapable, apparently, of transcending a corrupt nature.

I wonder though, how long will the Israelis themselves permit this abuse to continue?

Here’s a thought for a first step on a new page:

Isn’t it time, particularly in light of Abbas’ string of recent incitements, to leave him to the tender mercies of his Hamas “partners”?

Then we can proceed from there.

“A foundation chaired by Teresa Heinz Kerry, wife of Secretary of State John Kerry, who is deeply involved in negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians, is funding a radical anti-Israel, anti-American snack bar near the Carnegie Mellon and Pittsburgh University campuses.
The restaurant, ‘Conflict Kitchen’, which proudly boasts that it serves food only from countries with which the U.S. is in conflict, received a $50,000 grant from the Heinz Endowment in April to assist it in moving locations.”

“However, the restaurant lately has been serving its hummus and baba ghanoush sandwiches in propaganda wrappers that carry quotes from Palestinians opposing the existence of the state of Israel and has hosted panel discussions featuring pro-Palestinian speakers, in which supporters of the Jewish community and Israel have not been allowed to participate by the restaurant’s owners.”
