The Paranoid Madness of the Democratic Party

seiu_protest_ap_218-1The Democrat may no longer believe in God, the Constitution or even motherhood and apple pie, but he devoutly believes that somewhere out there Republicans are sitting in a sealed room and plotting to bring back the 50s.

And if not the 50s, then at least the early 60s.

The left accuses the right of being deeply paranoid. Meanwhile the left is convinced that every Republican sneeze is a racial putdown of America’s first black president since Bill Clinton.

Forget about looking for Communists under every bed. The proper progressive never lies down with his or her partner of choice and their government mandated birth control from the Catholic institution with no choice in the matter without first checking their privilege and checking for conservative bigotry.

Sometimes, somewhere in Kentucky or Alaska, a minor Republican functionary forwards an email depicting ObamaCare as the work of a voodoo witch doctor and the first lefty to discover it dines out on that triumphant accomplishment for a year before writing a book about it. The rest of the time, the McCarthyists of the left have to work to unpack the subtext of a random remark.

When Mitch McConnell complained that Obama plays too much golf, MSNBC’s chief late night lunatic, Lawrence O’Donnell, barked that “Well, we know exactly what he’s trying to do there. He is trying to align to Tiger Woods and surely, the lifestyle of Tiger Woods with Barack Obama.”

The Calibnasian Woods didn’t actually identify as black, but that was probably because of the way Republican racism stigmatizes black people. Will the right-wing bigotry never stop?

The reinvented Democratic Party runs entirely on conspiracy theories about Republican bigotry. It complains that Republicans secretly believe that they’re a Communist conspiracy to destroy America, while their entire platform is an accusation that the Republican Party is a secret conspiracy to enslave black people.

Or as the famous admirer of articulate, bright and clean-looking African-Americans, Joe Biden said, “He is going to put y’all back in chains.”

The chains would be redundant considering that he and his boss have run up the national debt to $17.6 trillion or a post-racial slavery of $55,234 by every American, regardless of race or creed, owed to China, Japan and the Muslim world.

The Democratic Party runs on racial paranoia, on class paranoia, on gender paranoia; obsessed with portraying the Republican Party as a Nazi cult dedicated to serving Southern racists, the Koch Brothers and Israel.

Conspiracy theories aren’t a fringe element in the Democratic Party; they’re the entire ticket.

The War on Women, the constant claims of racism (according to ex-MSNBC’er Martin Bashir IRS was the new “N Word”) and the invocation of class warfare by wealthy residents of entirely white bedroom communities is a litany of conspiracy theories. The frenzied search for new IRS and Tiger Woods “dog whistles” that prove the Republicans really are out to bring back the 50s is the psychological breakdown of an entire political party taking refuge in political paranoia.

The bible of the left’s conspiracy theory is a Lee Atwater interview from 1981 in which he described politics becoming post-racial. Since conspiracy theorists can always locate that one frame that proves that the plane heading for the World Trade Center was a hologram and the magic bullet that shot JFK was really fired by Jackie Kennedy, they carefully excerpted a part of the interview to make it look like Atwater was saying the exact opposite of what he was saying.

The left built up its pyramid of racial paranoia, its obsession with a Republican “Southern Strategy” to prove that the real racists weren’t the Democrats who fought for segregation, but the Republicans who fought against it, and its claim that since then the Republicans hid their racism in calls for small government and lower taxes, which, if you own a special Noam Chomsky decoder ring, really means Supermegaracism.

If Republicans are covertly disguising their racism in low taxes and small government, anyone who believes in low taxes and small government is probably a racist. And since Republicans hide their racism in innocuous policies, any conservative policy must be another racist Trojan horse.

Everything is a conspiracy. Everyone is a conspirator. If a Republican supports X, it must be racist. If he says Y, it must be racist.

Understand that and you understand why MSNBC’s cast of lunatics insist that IRS is the new N Word and that the Republican Party keeps mentioning Obama’s golf game to suggest to its base of racist voters that he’s really off having affairs with a string of blonde women.

Progressive racial paranoia makes perfect sense if you assume that your opponents are part of a conspiracy whose defining feature is a paranoid projection of your own racism.

The racial Atwaterization of the Democratic Party, its Northeastern Strategy, is typical of conspiracy theorists, whether it’s the Muslim Brotherhood’s front groups or the LaRouche zombies, who engage in byzantine conspiracies and vicious underhanded attacks that are justified by their own worldview in which a vast conspiracy is being waged against them.

Think of Hillary Clinton invoking a “vast right wing conspiracy” in public while justifying her husband’s adultery as being caused by Republican attacks in private, targeting women who complained about her husband’s sexual harassment in private, while claiming to be a role model for women in public.

That gap between ideals and actions, ends and means, is typical of the conspiracy theorist who projects every evil onto a single enemy, an Emmanuel Goldstein or Dick Cheney, and acts out every horrifying power fantasy in order to destroy him without ever acknowledging that he has become the thing he hates the most. He has become, not Dick Cheney, but Dick Cheney as he envisions him, an abuser of the Constitution who uses the IRS as a political weapon, invades countries unilaterally and destroys political enemies with lies, smears and innuendo.

The Dick Cheney of the left’s paranoid imagination sits in the White House.

Political paranoids are totalitarians… and totalitarians are political paranoids. The Democratic Party has become both. Its paranoid totalitarianism runs on conspiracy theories that justify its abuses of power. It has accepted the left’s classic formula of the conservative political opposition as a reactionary force that is the source of all evils in society.

If the Republican Party and the conservative opposition embody racism so thoroughly and covertly that there is nothing non-racist about them, there is nothing left to do but to destroy them. Having reduced the right to a total evil with no redeeming qualities, destroying them seems benevolent.

The average MSNBC viewer, New York Times reader and progressive suburbanite is not interested in a close look at his political movement. Instead of giving him something to believe in, his party’s media outlets give him someone to hate. His political identity is shaped not by what he stands for, unsustainable debt and an incoherent foreign policy of platitudes, but by his resistance to the Tea Party hordes who want to put black people back in chains, put women back in the kitchen and put homophobes back in the CEO’s office at the Mozilla Foundation.

The politics of paranoid hatred is the crutch of mental cripples who protect the source of their dysfunction by projecting it onto phantom enemies. It’s Hillary Clinton with her unfaithful husband, her list of enemies and her conviction that the Republicans made him cheat on her multiplied a million times over. It’s the frenzied MSNBC talking head who sees the N Word everywhere because it’s inside him. It’s an Attorney General who pursues racial grudges without ever admitting it while calling the country “a nation of cowards” on race.

The Democratic Party has been contaminated by the madness of the left through its alliance with the left and the entire country is paying the price.

    Progressives these days are becoming increasingly desperate. The future does not augur well for them, their illusion is being ripped down before their eyes, and their hare-brained schemes are crumbling.

    • Daniel Greenfield

      I think it’s more that they’re getting what they want, absolute power, and it doesn’t complete them.

      • Vaud

        Because when you reached the complete power you are scared of losing it. That’s when the cleansing starts. First you remove political opponents, then everyone starts to look like an enemy. At that moment the revolution eats its own children.

        • Daniel Greenfield

          Power consumes itself since it’s ultimately not divisible in a totalitarian system without murder.

          • Jeff Ludwig

            This is such an important point!!

        i believe in the individual’s initiative. Britain was a socialist country but it is turning around faster than the USA and its economy is doing much better and grows faster than ours. i believe that people will do whatever it takes to realize their ambitions, look at fracking, and in spite of gov’t policies they will change america back to how it was. people will not agree to pay taxes that they feel are too high and they will bring change hopefully by voting in the kind of people who will do what is necessary to bring back america.

  • truebearing

    The Left is positive all political enemies are racist because the leftists are racist, and if they are, we have to be, too.
    There are two things that one can always count on from the Left: lying and projection. They won’t admit their ugly inner nature, but it is easy to read in what they accuse others of. Hillary’s “vast rightwing conspiracy” comment was concurrent with her scheming with George Soros and John Podesta to create the Center for American Progress — the nerve center of the Whitehouse and the vast leftwing conspiracy. Leftist projection is as reliable as the sun.

    The Left wants to take us back to the communist regimes of the 20th Century, so of course, we are trying to go back to the 50’s (if only). The Left is still hung up on a failed ideology from the 19th Century, so of course, we’re the regressives. The Left is bizarro world. Lies are truth. Truth is a lie. They are some mighty messed up political sociopaths.

    • Daniel Greenfield

      People project their own natures onto their enemies. Liberal racism leads to a liberal obsession with conservative racism.

      • Judahlevi

        Most conservatives believe in Individualism as a human relational philosophy. They recognize that skin color or gender does not define you, it is your mind that defines you.

        Liberals are collectivists, and you have to be a collectivist to be a racist. They believe you are defined by your skin color or gender just as a racist or sexist does. They believe in multiculturalism, not Individualism. As usual, they take the wrong side of the issue.

        • Jeff Ludwig

          And people of color are typically not found in their homes at social gatherings unless they are colleagues on their jobs and part of their strategy for personal advancement to have said individuals over.

        • Chavi Beck

          Liberals are collectivists, and you have to be a collectivist to be a racist.

      • Jeff Ludwig

        Yes. I see this so clearly with the limousine liberal types I live near in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. There is a sense of moral superiority completely disconnected from their manifest behavior and sense of arrogant superiority over all others, including those of other races. It is a palpable disconnect if one “has the eyes to see and the ears to hear.”

      • truebearing

        That explains the Left’s insistence that Bush was stupid.

      • kikorikid

        …and the obsessed and perceived “racism” is used as the
        justification for punishment and oppression.

    • Demetrius Minneapolis

      I mentioned on another news site this morning that it is not us who keep minorities in the project housing generation after generation, it’s the Democrat’s progressive policies that do that. Now THAT is racist.

    Sussinct, witty and accurate. Absolutely horrifying though for our Nations well-being. Now transfer ALL of this to the Progressive’s enviro-loonie crowd, and their paranoia of Carbon(we are carbon), and you have “the perfect storm” of human insanity and suicide.

        For a good slant on how liberty among us has been whipped down, watch the old documentary about Bob Dylan’s England tour in 1966, Don’t Look Back, and watch how they conducted themselves and the presumptions they had that are displayed. It’s interesting.

        To see how the value of character has been discounted and the value of appearance exalted, think about non-conformity and how people express it today, versus the documentary Monterey Pop. There were freaks in the audience at Monterey wearing sport coats and ties with short hair.

  • PDK

    This ex-patriot of America, is an ex-patriot not because I left America, but because the liberals and their democrat party stole my America, via a fully enfranchised democracy, and transmogrified her into their liberal ideology’s, coveted, socialist democracy.

    I no longer see the reason to do battle with liberals. For me the time has come, and the need has risen, to move on, and further to move on without liberals or their religion of liberal ideology.

    A new White Homeland is the new dream, not just for Americans but all whites the planet Earth over.

    Liberalism is, as it always has been, the iceberg targeting the Titanic.

    From the Sanctuary, @
    I’m PDK: Thank you.

    • Habbgun

      Last I checked socialism is a white European philosophy. The academics who push it are overwhelmingly white. Do you really not want socialism or do you want the socialism that gives you preference? After all there are always socialisms justifying one group in power over another.

        Socialists like stalin and SHlTler.

        • Habbgun

          And their millions and millions of followers……and there are still millions and millions who believe the same crap….

      • PDK

        Socialism is part of the white liberal’s, liberal ideology.

        Liberalism is the failure to mature or transcend insanity.

        I’m a non-liberal, non-apostate white, preferring to gather with my own kind.

        White liberals and their allies, the negros, Hispanic white/browns, Islamics and all the other losers of planet Earth would not be welcome in a new White Homeland.

        I’m not alone in this emerging belief.

        From the Sanctuary, @
        I’m PDK: Thank you.

        • Habbgun

          And you are going to put it where?? America is not the home of deracinated whites. It is home of people who knew where they came from, still know their heritage but have found a place to make a better world. You slobs just want to continue the drug and alcohol abuse that led your families not to remember who they were and where they came from. Sorry but that is the truth.

      It’s called “Projection”.

      “Psychological projection is the act or technique of defending
      yourself against unpleasant impulses by denying their existence in
      yourself, while attributing them to others.[1] For example, a person who is rude may accuse other people of being rude.”

      • hiernonymous

        That was the first thing I thought when I saw the article. Well spotted!

  • Habbgun

    The Democrats have always used this strategy within. It was always an intramural hate fest..They whispered to the Irish they were on their side and against their “enemies” who also voted Democrat. They whispered to the Blacks they were with them and against the racists who also voted Democrat. They whispered to the Italians and the Jews about their enemies that also voted Democrat. They whispered to the liberals that they looked down on the Democrat voting blacks, italians, Irish etc. and that only academics should be in charge and then they pocketed every bit of money they could. Now that racial tensions have lessened they need a new enemy.

    Until conservatives destroy the machine they’ll get more of this. You can’t focus on and run against the Presidential face of the Democrats. He is just a figurehead. You have to run against the machine and the petty politician. Once you start winning you haven’t just one an election you’ve changed the country. Of course Republicans are more statists than conservatives and wouldn’t like that kind of change.

  • CowboyUp

    This has been going on a long time. In the 80s the dp/left was saying crack cocaine was a CIA plot to poison Black people, and that conservatives didn’t care enough to do anything about the violence and crime plaguing Black communities. So penalties for violence and dealing crack were increased with bipartisan support, and then it turned out Black people were running the crack trade. Then the dp/left said conservatives were running a plot to imprison Black men.
    That women and minorities tend to move up the economic ladder under conservative policies, and down it under leftist policies is lied about by the left, when it isn’t ignored.

    So to recap – as the saying goes, ‘It’s not paranoia if they’re really out to get you’.

    And hopefully at this point – we ARE – as a nation – out to get these bozos out from behind the helm of steering the ship of state into the maelstrom.

      Because that would entail admitting that the great and omnipotent Barack Obama is nothing but a complete and utter failure. The left thrives on identity politics, and they were so proud of the fact that they elected America’s first black president, that the only way they can excuse this man’s failings is through other’s racism. Absolutely pathetic.

  • Davros11

    Daniel Greenfield and “herb benty” great words guy’s keep it coming and let everyone know the game they are playing is for real and very dangerous!

  • Randy Townsend

    Absolutely correct. Remember, it’s all about power. It’s ALWAYS about power. The left (through government) forces it’s ideas on everybody because 1) they need everybody on board to pay for it; and 2) the vast majority won’t support them voluntarily (i.e. Given a choice – they reject the lib plan). This fallacy of liberal freedom and tolerance is a lie. Doubt that? Tell a liberal “No” and watch what happens then….

    • kikorikid

      “Once upon a time”… there was a Western Liberal Tradition that
      did espouse tolerance, particularly racial/cultural tolerance.
      There was tolerance of an open exchange of conflicting ideas.
      There was tolerance of religious diversity.
      There was tolerance of individual choice and initiative.
      There was tolerance of association.
      Tolerance is dead.
      “Liberal”, today is a veneer/façade for the intellectual
      fascist who claims it. It is manifest every time a “politically
      correct action” takes place. Being “politically correct” is
      to bow before the totem of Cultural-Marxism”. Being
      politically correct is simply to show ideological conformity.
      Been there.

    When and how did this all start? I know progressivism started in the late 1800s in America. Teddy Roosevelt was one, Woodrow Wilson and FDR were. America was an amazing country post WWII. But where did the hate America, really vile ideology develop. Did it rise out of the CPUSA or something else? Did it begin after the Russian Revolution? I know about groups like the SDS, The Black Panthers, The Nation of Islam, and Weather Underground, but who or what fuelled the divisiveness and rancour that now permeates education and politics in America. I know what the results have been, but how did it happen. Any thoughts, please?

    • cacslewisfan

      Here’s what I have found so far, anyone who reads this feel free to correct, I don’t claim to be an expert: during WWII the US allowed Marxists from the Frankfurt School refuge in the US. They were running from Germany because the Nazi party hated Communists (Marxists/Commies were all over Europe causing trouble. Mussolini began the Fascist party in part because he hated how Communists were disrupting post WWI efforts to rebuild manufacturing). So these Commies come to the US. One very prominent Marxist, Herbert Marcuse, worked for the CIA in DC during the war. After the war, he taught at Harvard, Columbia, then moved to CA and taught at Brandeis, and UC Berkley. Marcuse and fellow Frankfurt school jerks were particularly toxic because they had planned to bring down the culture of America by use of “Critical Theory.” Critical theory is why you see the hatred of all things American, Western, “White Male,” “Heteronormative,” etc. The phrase “politically correct” came from the Frankfurt School. It means correct according to THEIR politics. I mentioned Marcuse because he had a huge influence on the students that attended university in California. Much of the hippie, free love, commune idiocy of the 60’s started in CA because of Marcuse’s books. The big question for me always has been, “What idiot let those people in?” From what I gather, “fellow travelers” in the US gov. There have always been many in the gov. Jamie Glazov’s book, “United in Hate” exposes a sickening history of Leftist journalists, faculty, etc that enabled and covered for horrible Marxist/Commie atrocities. I highly recommend you read “A Conservative History of the American Left” by Dan Flynn. It is a fantastic read, and it will give you the history of the American Left starting with the first collectivists. The Pilgrims of Plymouth Rock.

    • lyndaaquarius

      this is what I’ve read. Much of the poison in our society came from the Frankfort School,a group of radical Marxists who fled Hitler’s Europe and came to New York. They had many subversive ideas and morphed into the New School,I believe.One of them Lukaacs was father to the concept of sex education,which was a tactic used solely to denigrate American society.They were all cultural Marxists and thoroughly evil.It all seems to have been an all out assault on all the pillar foundations of America.

    • truebearing

      Envy, and the hate it leads to, has been around forever. Marx created a pseudo-collectivist system for cultivating envy and hate. Progressivism is just a cloak to disguise its true nature as yet another derivation of Marxism. All forms of marxism are formulas for the envious and hateful to convert the seven deadly sin into power.

  • Jeff Ludwig

    The following is excerpted from an email I wrote to a liberal/leftist acquaintance who was offended by the Greenfield article I sent to him depicting the power motive of the left. He indignantly replied that attacking the left as wanting power was somehow ad hominem or unfair, and that he is only interested in debating policies. My answer to him would apply to this article by Mr. Greenfield as well. This article as well as the previous article is right on target…..

    A couple of emails ago, in response to the Greenfield article, you wrote, “The issues here are not the psychology of the Left or of the Right, but rather what is better policy.”

    It seems to me that whether we like it or not, motive is a part of all action. Mother Teresa might have made some mistakes in caring for the poorest of the poor in India, but probably those mistakes would not loom very large in the mind of a reasonable person because of her motive. She took care of people who literally had been put in garbage cans or left to die in the street by their relatives as being persons who, by reason of illness or old age, were not deemed worthy of living, or were too expensive to take care of.

    So, it is standard for the left to attribute the motives of selfishness and/or greed and/or racism and/or sexism and/or homophobia to anyone who advocates policies that the left does not agree with. Justice Kennedy in his recent vote for the legitimacy of same sex marriage castigated those who opposed it as being hateful and mean-spirited. Think of it: people who believe in heterosexual marriage and defending an institution that is literally worldwide and thousands of years old are hate mongers? The Defense of Marriage Act, passed by both parties, and signed into law by Pres. Clinton was a law passed by haters. Wow! Likewise in the economic sphere, if someone opposes welfare-to-work laws they are condemned by the left as being racist and selfish. We have to take care of the poor don’t we? Any suggestion that a policy be created that builds in the concept of personal responsibility is portrayed in the politically correct world of the left as “imposing one’s values on others.”

    The left then is not immune to questioning the motives of others, and questioning motives is legitimate if the questioning is legitimate. Some ways of reflecting on motives are more valid than others.

    So if programs and regulations and taxes and time requirements and toilet tank requirements and land use requirements and unending inspections of facilities are imposed upon the citizenry, thus increasing geometrically the size and role of government in our everyday lives, are rationalized at every turn as necessary for the “welfare” of the people, then the citizenry may want to make the following observations. First, why is the greatest discontent found in urban areas where the left is most in authority and has the greatest amount of input into policy? Second, why is it that with each new expansion of government, further expansion is justified to supposedly correct the mistakes and “unintended consequences” [sic] of the first level of expansion? Third, why do we have so much inflation that has run parallel to the creation of the Fed and the expansion of government debt and expenditures? Fourth, why do a high number of families have both parents working full-time jobs to meet basic needs and yet find they are increasingly “just getting by.” Fifth, why, in spite of tremendous expansive civil rights legislation over the past 50 years has the black family disintegrated so that 77% of black kids are born out of wedlock? Sixth, why have results in every area of educational testing, graduation rates, increased school violence, “college readiness,” and cultural literacy declined over the past 50 years despite increasing government involvement and skyrocketing educational expenses?

    In other words, with increasing government expansion (at a geometric rate), we do not find a parallel track of results commensurate with the expansion. The lack of results lead a thinking person to ask himself or herself why the results are lacking. After a half century of very few good results, and many results even in inverse proportion to the expansion and involvement of big government, a reasonable person would conclude that the expansion was not put in place to get results at all. Then, said thinking person would tell himself/herself, “If the expansion of government in size, regulatory authority, and demands for our money was not really intended for results, then there must be some other motive.” Mr. Greenfield in his truthful article was asking himself that very question, and — not unreasonably — concluded that the motive for those seeking said expansion was to accrue greater power for themselves. So, it seems to me that he was making a fair point, and beyond fair…a truthful point.

      There’s no doubt that Joe McCarthy was an alcoholic, self-serving sleazeball who used the Red Scare to advance himself, and did thoughtless harm to other people, but he was also correct about Communist subversion in the United States.

    In the 1950s and early 1960s, there was this much:

    1. We knew who the real racists were because they were quite open about it, so we could deal with that. Some black people would say that knowing who their enemies were was better than crypto-racism and racial mythology, which of course is what we have come to today;
    2. Economic prosperity was on the rise;
    3. We didn’t have presidents running off to military adventures in other countries. In fact, as of the early 1960s, we could still say we’d never lost a war;
    4. Racism was on the decline, and the lot of women in commerce was on the rise;
    5. The music was better;
    6. Outside the big cities people didn’t feel like they had to lock their doors, and kids could go out and play without adult supervision;
    7. The biggest things school kids had to worry about were being late to school, getting bad grades, and so on;
    8. The national mood was optimistic;
    9. Patriotism was a good thing;
    10. The only thing about nuclear bombs was that the Soviets had them too, but they were rational and were not interested in blowing things up in a nuclear holocaust for their ideas.

    There are, no doubt, many other things that make the 1950s and 1960s America significantly better than today (like politicians of whatever stripe being more interested in the well-being of the United States than their own careers), but those are my top ten.

      yes – high school kids ‘crimes’ were chewing gum and running in the hall.

    “That gap between ideals and actions, ends and means, is typical of the conspiracy theorist who projects every evil onto a single enemy, an Emmanuel Goldstein or Barack Obama, and acts out every horrifying power fantasy in order to destroy him without ever acknowledging that he has become the thing he hates the most. He has become, not Barack Obama, but Barack Obama as he envisions him, an abuser of the Constitution who uses the IRS as a political weapon, invades countries unilaterally and destroys political enemies with lies, smears and innuendo.”

      You can change words around, but not facts.

      That series of posts was pretty unoriginal.

    “The average FoxNews viewer, Frontpage Mag reader and conservative suburbanite is not interested in a close look at his political movement. Instead of giving him something to believe in, his party’s media outlets give him someone to hate. His political identity is shaped not by what he stands for, lower taxes and an interventionist foreign policy, but by his resistance to the Operation Wall Street hordes who want to put investment bankers in chains, denigrate white men, and put homosexuals in the CEO’s office at the Mozilla Foundation.”

    “Political paranoids are totalitarians… and totalitarians are political paranoids. The Republican Party has become both. Its paranoid totalitarianism runs on conspiracy theories that justify its abuses of power. It has accepted the right’s classic formula of the liberal political opposition as a progressive force that is the source of all evils in society.”

    “Sometimes, somewhere in Kentucky or Alaska, a minor Republican functionary forwards an email depicting ObamaCare as the work of a voodoo witch doctor and the first lefty to discover it dines out on that triumphant accomplishment for a year before writing a book about it. The rest of the time, the McCarthyists of the left have to work to unpack the subtext of a random remark.”

    LOL. You wrote an article recently–a race baiting article–about corruption in a small town near St. Louis that no one has ever heard of, and implied that it was Obama’s doing, while the McCarthyists (no need to qualify) for whom you chummed agreed in absurd and witless flights of fancy: “This is Obama’s America!”

    An excellent article. The perfect examples of projection.

    Oh man, that is one the best articles I’ve read in…a really, really long time…nailed it on so many levels…well done.

    the libs actually think they are “smart”
    They keep saying so.
    But the bottom line is that they want whatever money you might have.

    Watching This Week with George Stephenopoulis, I’m struck by how much emphasis the lefties who comment there are putting on the 2016 candidacy of Jeb Bush for president. It’s always interesting when the lefties tell the righties who the righties ought to run for President. James Carville actually had the stones to say that Jeb Bush is the only viable candidate since Chris Christie self-destructed. I wonder when Governor Christie self-destructed.

    But given that they all agree that the only person in sight to be the candidate is Hillary Clinton, and that even they show the video of the show-throwing incident, it’s understandable why they would want the Repubs to run Jeb Bush; he’s the only Republican Hillary could convceivably defeat.

    A very naive essay. It’s not “…paranoid madness…”, it’s effective agitprop politics. After all, don’t the ethnics vote 90% for the DEMS. Some of this is due to the shocking weakness of the GOP in dealing with the Progressive/Fascist propaganda machine.

    There are worse eras to bring back than the 1950s. Like the late 1960s, for example.
