Venezeula’s Insane Socialist President Keeps Accusing People of Wanting to Kill Him

Sometimes we call world leaders insane because they’re mean and kill lots of people. That’s not the case with Venezuela’s Socialist president Nicolas Maduro.

That’s not to say that he doesn’t kill lots of people. He does. But he also talks to deceased ex-president Hugo Chavez in bird form, sees his image on subway walls and threatened those who didn’t vote for him with an ancient Indian curse.

He sent the army to occupy electronics stores and there’s milk and toilet paper rationing in what used to be one of the wealthier countries in the region.

Like a lot of crazy people, Maduro is also obsessed with assassination plots.

First Maduro claimed there was a CIA plot to kill his political opponent Capriles who was uniquely qualified to be the President of Venezuela, not only on account of his degrees and background, but because he wasn’t a complete lunatic.

Capriles pointed out that if anyone killed him it wouldn’t be the CIA, it would the Birdman of Caracas.

So Maduro began claiming that the CIA wanted to kill him. Now if the CIA wanted to kill Maduro, it would tell him that eating rat poison will give him magical abilities. And Maduro remains un-assasinated, despite much of the country which doesn’t work for the government hating his guts.

Now he had a woman arrested for conspiring to kill him.

Venezuelan prosecutors charged a prominent opposition leader with conspiracy Wednesday in relation to an alleged plot to assassinate leftist President Nicolas Maduro.

Maria Corina Machado, a vocal supporter of anti-government protests that rocked the country earlier this year, vehemently rejected the charge as she left the attorney general’s office after questioning.

“Today they have charged me with the crime of conspiracy,” she said. “All the accusations and supposed evidence are false, and I reject them.”

Under Venezuelan law she faces eight to 16 years in prison if convicted.

The attorney general’s office said in a statement she had been charged with “conspiracy” for “allegedly having links to the assassination plan against the president.”

You know the case is solid when the attorney general is using the term “allegedly” for a conspiracy he’s charging her with.

Along with Leopoldo Lopez, an opposition leader jailed since February on charges of inciting violent protests, she has been one of the most visible figures in an anti-government protest movement called “La Salida,” or “The Way Out.”

The way out in Venezuela is the same way out as in the USSR. Saudi Arabia’s oil war and fracking in the US have turned Venezuela’s oil money into collateral damage. Chavez and his crazier successor have run up huge debts and the money isn’t coming in.

Maduro had to announce a 20 percent cut in government spending. Now he’s trying to shut down his opposition with a show trial.

Wonder why anyone would want to kill him?

    • M2000

Using a bullet on Maduro would be a waste of ammo, he’s destroying his own country all by himself.

  • reyol

Kill Maduro? No. I don’t want to kill Maduro. Only the raging socialist infection he has in his brain. Venezuela is another naturally rich country that has been rendered impoverished by socialism. Socialism does not work. Not even the Germans could make it work. The Venezuelans think that witchcraft and magic will make it work for once and for all.

You do not know just how right you are. Too bad American politicians and those who run the CIA don’t understand what they are dealing with. The CIA is a collection of ignorant children dealing with a subject they do not understand and do not want to understand.

      • reyol

Ignorant children? Ouch! They seem to me to be more like vain teenagers going through their “know it all” phase.

They know exactly how to do what they do, they are not perfect in their victories, but they have a shockingly high rate of success. In addition there is no question in my mind, that bitch was likely involved in another coup or assassination attempt, that “opposition” leader has very close CIA ties. … What you rightly view as horrible, as I also agree it is, the CIA would have called successful. Remember the goal is not to create sustainable countries that serve their own population, it’s to serve the correct set of economic interests. You also apparently know the history well, so you know why the population greeted actual leftism warmly. The history is so similar to Cuba it’s nauseating, and we had our sick hands all over it… Unlike the right-wing nutcases, that somehow view Batista like systems as “prosperity”…. I hope Maduro gets things fixed, and for the sake of his public he must.

This is what Libertarian Ron Paul and his site say about their friend Socialist Maduro who is also tied to the hip to Iran and the weapons they have supplied them.

The US Government Should Butt Out of Venezuela

In an op-ed in the New York Times this week , Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro calls for peace in Venezuela. The socialist president has been besieged by demonstrations in which several protestors have been killed. The protesters focus on horrendous economic conditions brought about by Maduro’s socialist economic policies. Maduro is issuing a call for domestic peace.

The problem is that whenever a ruler who is independent of the US Empire is in power, the US national-security state apparatus, especially the CIA, oftentimes gets involved in the process, stirring up trouble and doing whatever it can to achieve the ouster of the ruler and his replacement with a pro-US stooge, ideally one who is a military dictator. It’s no concern of the US government how many foreign citizens die in the process.

The US government does its best to keep its role in the process secret. That’s what “covert” operations are all about. They give the U.S. president the ability to falsely deny US involvement in what is going on.

As we have seen time and time again, the core feature of the US national-security state apparatus involves regime change, a policy that involves the ouster of independent foreign rulers, even democratically elected ones, and their replacement with pro-US dictatorial puppets.

The interesting thing about Venezuela is how the situation there bears remarkable similarities to what happened in Iran, Guatemala, and Chile.

In Iran, the prime minister, who the CIA accused of being a communist, was democratically appointed, and in Guatemala and Chile the presidents, both socialists, were democratically elected…………………
This continues with more of the Ron Paul and his libertarian crowd’s anti American pro socialist dictator and kisses for Iran propaganda

So, your answer is what? You are all over the map.

      • Erudite Mavin

You know exactly what I mean.
Ron Paul and his libertarians support the Socialist Dictator Maduro.

        • andrewwhitehead

Actually, I didn’t. Thanks for clearing this up for me.

        • M2000

wRONg Paul, claims he’s for liberty and freedom, except for the people of Venezuela.

          • Erudite Mavin

Add to Venezuela, his support for Iran, Hamas, Putin, and a list of others who are Not freedom loving countries.

    • Lightbringer

Wow. Looks like Ron Paul is even crazier than I thought.

  • andrewwhitehead

Maduro is an asshat. However, consider that he runs a country with a large proportion of ignorant people who are ready and willing to believe anything he says. Chavez is viewed as the people’s savior and this is something 99% of American politicians and writers do not understand…it is a subject of which they know very little and this is why South America has issues with communism, fascism, etc.
We blew it in South America when we allowed the CIA to run amok and screw things up as only the CIA can. The average American does not understand just how much damage the CIA has done and continues to do in South America because the CIA only listens to those from the region who agree with the CIA’s position, facts be damned. Don’t even get me started on Central America and the CIA fronts in Panama, the IGS which was set up to “study” but is actually a spy agency…or it was until I left Panama, where I was born.
Anyone who cares to disagree with me I have some words for you: Obama, Clinton, Kerry. All three carried on bad policies and screwed Central and South American at every opportunity, along with Republican administrations.

Nicolas Maduro SHOULD be assassinated. It’s the correct, moral, and just thing to do.

¡Un brindís para la muerte de Nicolás Maduro! ¡Que sufra mucho!
