Washington Post Muslim Reporter: Was Hamas Expected to Turn the Other Cheek?

britain_eakin

Britain Eakin is a fanatical Muslim convert who obsessively hates Israel.

Tim Graham of Newsbusters and others helped get results when the Washington Post sent out a militantly anti-Israel reporter to cover an anti-Israel rally… with the expected results.

The lead reporter on Monday’s Washington Post story on Palestinian protests is Britain Eakin, whose Twitter bio reads “Graduate Student Extraordinaire in Journalism and Middle East Studies at UA, Tucson.”

Eakin is in no way a neutral observer of the Israel-Palestine conflict. As she’s reporting “objectively” for the Post, she’s tweeting out an editorial she’d written defending the Palestinians against “Israel’s disproportionate war on Gaza”  for al-Jazeera America:

Britain Eakin has also written for Counter Punch which ran an actual blood libel aimed at Jews.

The Washington Post, rather than taking down Eakin’s rant, put up an apologetic note.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The Post covered a protest outside the State Department on July 20 against U.S. policy in the Middle East and Israel’s actions in Gaza. One reporter sent to cover the protest, Britain Eakin, is an intern who has written opinion pieces elsewhere that sharply criticize Israel in the conflict. The Post should not have sent her to cover the protest and, had it known of her writings, would not have done so.

The Post might have some basis for that.

Britain Eakin’s Facebook page looks clean and credible, while her Twitter account is a seething mass of hate. Fellow WaPoers who had friended her on Facebook might not have known exactly what she was.

But then again they might have known.

Meanwhile Britain Eakin was tweeting stories with titles like “Was Hamas Expected to Turn the Other Cheek?”

This was clearly a point of view that she agreed with.

On the hate site Counterpunch, Britain Eakin wrote that, “Israel is an oppressive and occupying power; it can’t in good faith claim self-defense.”

This was her work at around the same time as she was supposed to be practicing journalism for the Washington Post.

And this was Eakin’s response to the death of Osama bin Laden

Not only is Muslim terrorism against Israel, Israel’s fault. But Muslim terrorism against America is, America’s fault.

Hamas is expected to change its religion and to abjure that false prophet.

I mentioned this yesterday and will do so again. Why does every story and corner post on Front Page have ads from a stealth Jihad organization based in Britain, asking for donations to help Gaza and exhorting Muslims to pay Zakat to help out? Zakat is the Muslim tax expected from all Muslims to further the cause of Islam, and the group in question is dedicated to Islamic institutions in Britain. Taking ad money from such groups, to me, runs counter to FPMs fight against Jihad on the west. Am I the only one seeing these ads, due to something in my browser? I don’t get it. Can someone explain please?

    • Gee

Have never seen one. But I use Opera – so no ads at all

      • Daniel Greenfield

        ditto

    • Daniel Greenfield

I don’t see any ads, but that’s just my browser.

Ads can be a complicated question. Some are site specific, others are displayed across different sites based on an arrangement with the ad company, and others still others can follow you around based on your interests and cookies on your browser.

If you clear your cookies and a persistent ad goes away, then it’s user targeted.

Some ads however can use your IP address.

Clicking on ads you don’t like, can cost that company or org money. It doesn’t bring in money to them, unless you donate to them.

Google is one of the biggest sources of advertising. That means a site can end up with ads it doesn’t like or support, like the Muslim singles ads that many complain about. It doesn’t mean that a site is taking money from a Muslim dating site.

      • Squiggles

If you are using Google Chrome, you can install a small add-on called Ad-Block. It blocks all ads and sometimes goes a little further and takes out all youtube videos and such.

      • DogmaelJones1

I recently made the same complaint about other FrontPage articles. But, as I suspected, and I think Daniel suspects, FrontPage hasn’t much control over the kinds of ads that appear on its pages. They’re sent enmasse by Google or by whatever outfit has contracted with Google to raise revenue-generating ads. The best policy for readers is to simply ignore the damned things, as I do of virtually every ad that appears on FrontPage.

      • Gee

Use Start Page for a search engine and the NSA doesn’t get to track you and no cookies either

      • wileyvet

Thanks for the reply. I will try to get rid of them from my cookies and browser.

    • Michal

I use adblock (as do many of my friends) so honestly I dont know …

      • garyhope

AdFender works for me on most sites except YouTube and the ads there are really intrusive and annoying.

    • objectivefactsmatter

      Probably thanks to google.

  • Gee

I think that she would be an excellent reporter to send to Syria to cover her friends the ISIL. That would be poetic justice

  • WillielomanIII

Stop buying anything from Amazon. I cancelled my account there

    • Hugo Fitch

I buy a lot from Amazon, but am strongly Zionist. Is there something I should know about Amazon?

  • Hard Little Machine

Where’s a tactical nuke when you need one?

  • Drakken

I really wish this scrunt would come where I am, she would be treated as any enemy propagandist would be treated, with lead poisoning.

  • meanpeoplesuck

When Israel was looking for the kidnapped teens they killed 6 people- double the number of the kidnapped teens. When Hamas responded, Israel used it as a pretext for war where 25 times as many Palestinians have died as Israelis.

We need more honest reporters like Britain Eakin so we can know what’s really going on, and not be spoonfed by RepubliNaziTard Media.

    • Daniel Greenfield

      Being attacked is a “pretext”?

Also more Germans died in WW2 than Americans. Clearly the Nazis were in the right.

      • UCSPanther

Don’t forget the Japanese. They got more than they could handle in response to their “Pacific Blitzkreig”…

        • SCREW SOCIALISM

          Pearl Harbor was a “pretext”.

          • Daniel Greenfield

to this type of scum it is

    • Gee

Considering the thousands that attacked Israeli soldiers – it should have been 6,000 dead.

As for the Islamofascists in Gaza losing, oh well. You beg and beg for Israel do something then whine when we do.

The US lost 106,000 men to Japanese and killed over 1.8 million – so the US must have attacked Japan – right moron?

    • UCSPanther

Like I said, if this was WWII, you would be wailing about Dresden, Nagasaki and Hiroshima…

    • SCREW SOCIALISM

The hijab she wraps her head with makes her “impartial”, “even handed”, “progressive”.

    • SCREW SOCIALISM

britain eakin, like the vile islamofascist hag lauren booth, convert to the oxymoron “religion of peace”, exemplifies the moral rot that is destroying the UK.

    • mackykam

I’m all in favor of proportionality: 500 dead arabs for one Jewish life.

      • Larry Larkin

Nope, the arab calculation is over 1,000 for one Jewish life. Currently the Israelis are being niggardly on their repayments.

        • mackykam

          I stand corrected.

    • Izzi0917

      Surely you’re not serious.

    • Jerry G

I guess you get your facts straight from Hamas.

  • DogmaelJones1

Maybe Britain Eakin volunteer to go to ISIS, or Syria, or Iraq, or Libya for a term of sexual jihad? Other good Muslim girls do. It’s their duty. It’s Eakin’s duty. Somebody should remind her of that. And then we’d so no more of Eakin.

  • SoCalMike

A cup of coffee at Starbucks is maybe 5 bucks but this is priceless.

  • mackykam

Wonder if she had a clitorectomy? Don’t females need one to convert to Islam? Does she wear that rag on her head because she’s having a bad hair day?
She makes a perfect candidate for an honor killing, inshallah, LOL!

  • v

It’s Islam folks. It is a violent and corrupt religion that prides itself on lies and deceits. From it inception it has proven a violent murderous religion in the name of “Allah”. Some people call it a religion of peace, I call it a religion of “piece of ……”
