This special Glazov Gang episode was joined by Dr. Mark Durie, a theologian, human rights activist, pastor of an Anglican church, and an Associate Fellow at the Middle East Forum, joined the show.

Dr. Durie joined the show to discuss Islam vs. Human Conscience,” analyzing how Islam wages war on humans moral judgment and intuition [starts at 5:30 mark]. The dialogue transpired within the context of Boko Haram’s kidnapping of 276 schoolgirls in Nigeria and the Islamic roots of that barbaric act. Dr. Durie shed light on the Islamic theology that inspires and sanctions Muslims to enslave and rape kafir women.

Also this week: In response to Ben Affleck’s recent appearance on Bill Maher’s “Real-Time,” in which he denied that Islam has any connection to ISIS or any other form of Islamic terrorism, Frontpage is running The Glazov Gang’s special episode in which Ann-Marie Murrell interviewed Frontpage Editor Jamie Glazov about “The Nature of Jihad-Denial” and why leftists reach out in solidarity to Islam:

The biggest challenge in dealing with discussions over ideology is that people want to put labels on others as a defense mechanism when losing a debate which is a self-blocking of admission of truth and accepting that they have been deceived. Thus, they can develop a “self blinded” outlook. In discussions over Islam with liberals who are not Islamic, I use a simple technique which appears to not generate hate from the left though there is always objections from those who refuse the truth.

Take a piece of paper and draw three columns on it. The first column is what does your nation believe about certain political and social issues. As with anything that divides, some issues you may not personally agree with – we’ll get to that. The list can be almost anything but it must contain core issues and platforms of whichever party you choose when listing in the country column. For self insight, I’d suggest also listing core issues of the other party – you get a two for one analysis;. For liberals, let’s say you believe your country mostly supports women’s rights, a belief in a woman’s right to choose, the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, support of LGBT, support of religious freedom to choose one’s own religion including to leave it freely or have none at all, support for separation of religion and government, against cruel and unusual punishment, and the list should go much further. In the next column put your belief on each of these topics. That is the easiest part. The hard part: In the last column find out by searching the beliefs of Islam (not fanatical or militant but regular “moderate” Islam without apologists) and then compare it with your countries beliefs and your own. If anyone honestly does a comparison who is a liberal, a libertarian, an independent, or a conservative they will have their eyes opened to the truth of Islam.

I agree that islam is a faith that promotes murder, rape, hatred of Jewish people, Christians, and all other faiths. Liberalism is somewhat the same except for the beheadings unless you consider abortion in the argument. The koran is the opposite of the word of God from the BiBle. The Son of God will be our Judge and Jesus said, ‘what good is it if you gain the whole world but lose your soul’?
Faith is the Way, the Truth, and the Light.

I agree that islam is a faith

How do you agree? In faith-based religions the freedom of conscience is present so that adherents can either choose to have faith or choose to not have faith. However, in Islam that same freedom of conscience for adherents to choose is completely absent, as all apostates and all blasphemers are summarily executed per the dictates of Islam.

As a matter of fact, the first and foremost prerequisite of Islam is the total, complete, and unconditional “submission” of all adherents to the “will of Allah”, which in essence is draconian Islamic totalitarian law or Sharia, under the penalties of death for apostasy and death for blasphemy. Hence, Islam, more than it is anything else, is a very draconian and very aggressive form of totalitarianism that seeks to make itself and its followers supreme throughout the world. The problem is all Muslims consider it to be their religion.

In the last few seconds of the interview, Jamie used the word ‘coward’ or ‘cowardly’, and that was the word that came to my mind repeatedly during the interview. ‘Wearing blinders’ or ‘holding on to a false world view’ are characterizations that are far too weak in describing what deniers of the Islamic threat are doing. They deny the threat because to acknowledge it would lead to a very uncomfortable conclusion for them–that they must fight back. What they fear is the threat of losing something if they fought back–their job, their economic status, their comfort, their time, their lives–what have you. They are, in a word, cowards. America has always viewed itself as the ‘land of the free and the home of the brave’. Home of the brave? Not so much these days.

In the course of this interview I heard Jamie Glazov say that there are many good Muslims who don’t engage in the horrific kind of things Muslims are infamous for engaging in, but we are not speaking about those kind of Muslims. Thus, I wonder if Jamie Gazov can be so kind as to provide us some specific examples of those “good Muslims” he is speaking about, perhaps he can point to where these “good Muslims” reside, and provide us with some specific examples of how these “good Muslims” aren’t acting like the Muslims in which he obviously views as being bad.

And the reason I ask, is I was under the distinct impression that “good Muslims” were the ones that lived up to the tenets of Islam by waging jihad in the cause of Allah and that the bad Muslims were the ones that shirked their fundamental holy obligation to wage jihad in the cause of Allah.

Anyway, if Jamie Glazov can be so kind as to provide us some specific examples of the kinds of “good Muslims” in which he is talking about, then it would be very much appreciated. Especially if they reside somewhere in the Islamic totalitarian world.

I for one would be very much interested in investigating and examining these “good Muslims” especially since I have been searching for them myself absolutely unsuccessfully for more years than I care to say. So hopefully he won’t hesitate to help me out here.

Now, of course, when I asked another writer once here on FPM to do the same thing, he pointed to Dr. Zudhi Jasser, who is the media’s go to professional so-called moderate Muslim. However, Zudhi Jasser is no more Muslim than I am, as per the dictates of Islam Jasser is an example of a blasphemous apostate that must be executed. So I hope those aren’t the kind of “good Muslims” that Jamie Glazov is referring to. We’ll see…maybe he will respond and I will be enlightened.
