"all believers voluntarily ignore facts that go against scriptures. That's a fact."

No, that is nonsense.
I'm a believer in God and Jesus Christ.
And I don't ignore facts.
Therefore your statement is false.

I could just as easily say all "non-believers" ignore historical facts in the Bible.
And it would be equally untrue.

Speaking of Noah; if you had ever bothered to read (and more importantly - study) the Bible you would know that the only areas mentioned in the Bible are in the Middle East, with perhaps some of Greece
Roughly the area of the Babylonian Empire.
With Iraq in the center and surrounding areas.
Not Europe, Not South America, Not North America, Not the Arctic nor Antarctica.
We know this, for example, when the Bible says that Cirrus controlled the world. Or numerous other kings "controlled the world".
Much like Alexander.

The story of Noah is not meant to be an historical fact of the entire world, as we know it, becoming flooded.
It is a story about a man placing his faith in God despite society and what appears to him to be common sense.
In fact there very well may have been a man named Noah who built a boat and saved his family and his animals in a localized flood.
A localized flood which had nothing to do with animals or people from other continents.
A localized flood which destroyed the people of the area, just like Mount Vesuvius destroyed Pompeii.
The locals might have thought it was the "end of the world" when it in fact was not.

Hardly the most stupid comment today gray, all believers voluntarily ignore facts that go against scriptures. That's a fact.

After Noah's flood, where did the different races come from, caucasian, blacks, chinese, ... How did humanity survive on such a small gene pool? Why did god voluntarily keep genetically-transmitted diseases like e cystic fibrosis? How did lions and tigers survive on only a pair of each prey? How did the antelopes survive if they were eaten by lions... What about insects? Ect...

Sorry for the typo, english is not my first language.

The Bible makes it clear you must do works.
But even more of an authority than the Bible, is God the Father, and Jesus Christ the Son.
Both make it clear you must do works.
Try reading the ten commandments for starters.
The first and greatest commandment is works.
The second greatest commandment is also works.
Acknowledging God as the Father is works.
Acknowledging Jesus as the savior is works.
Following the ten commandments is work.
Following the sermon on the mount is works.
Not once did Jesus say to anyone that works were unnecessary.
Yes ... I say again .... over and over ... clean the wax out of your ears and listen closely. You ARE saved by grace. But in order to be saved by grace you must perform works.
You must be baptized.
You must pray.
You must confess your sins.
You must repent.
You must keep the commandments.
You must follow in his footsteps.
etc.
Just like every Apostle did.
Those are all works.
You can sit there in your rocking chair. Farting and picking your nose while rocking back and forth.Thinking you have to do nothing but have faith, if you want.
Be warned, you are in for a terrible surprise.

Not on any corrupt religious establishment.

What's your point herb? You want to convince me Christianity is true and Islam is false???

Both of them are lies. Islam is the worst of them because it gave itself to right to force itself onto others through violence (to this day!). Oh, Christianity went there for a while a looooooong time ago.

So, faithful believer, go back and teach your children that evolution is wrong, that in reality, a sky fairy magically created everything, and all he cares for now is to be worhsipped by us all...

And if you don't, wll, you burn in hell.

How lovely.

That's where the differences stop gray_man. You see, Islam is false in your eyes and Xstianity is false in Muslim's eyes. Care to argue one falsehood against another? Both religious systems are based on sheepish followers gobbling-up what the religious establishment (aka the faith pushers) wants you to believe.

So, gray_man, be a good boy, follow the religious rules imposed on you by other HUMANS to earn the make-believe paradise you are fed.

James 2:14-26. sonny. Faith without works is dead.

I guess you believe that a person can claim to have faith in Christ, and then continue to sin. Make no effort to follow the commandments. Eat, drink, and by merry, for tomorrow he will die.
In fact, not even ask for forgiveness, because that would be effort (work) on their part. And on judgement day, all sins will be absolved because of faith?
Then explain to me why have judgment day at all.
I guess, in your mind, all the sins of Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Muhammad, to name just a few will be forgiven and forgotten, just because they believe.
You are fooling yourself, sonny, if you thinks you are not required to do good works.
However, no one said works were enough by themselves for salvation. Faith will save you, after all the works you have done.
The gospel is not a free ride.
Every time Jesus spoke to another, he told them to go do good works.
The words of Jesus out-weigh anything written in Romans, sonny.
Jesus came not to take away the law, but to fulfill the law, and the law is works.
From the mouth of Jesus the two greatest commandments both involve works.
Following the commandments is doing works.
Preaching the gospel is doing works.
Being an example to others is good works.
All of those are required, by Jesus.
We are saved through faith, AFTER all the good works we have done. Works are required.
Amen.

In fact (not to change the subject) here is something for you to wrap your mind around. Do you not think Lucifer, who became Satan, and the 1/3 of the host of heaven who rebelled, and were cast out of heaven, had any faith?
They had both knowledge and faith, but their works are going to doom them to eternal torment.

Romans. old boy. We are Justified by Faith, our righteousness is through faith in the risen Lord.
Not once did Jesus say works were unnecessary. He did say they were not enough. Every bit of guidance given by Christ to someone else was a verb. Works are a requirement.
As a Christian, you MUST DO !
And doing is works.

Pretty obsessed in your own boxed up concepts aren't you?
This passionate expression might just be your own religion. I was raised an atheist in (nearly) atheist France, and recognize you thoughts as the ones that raised me. Thank God I moved to America to find a people who are more enlightened. Now France is overrun by muslims, French girls are even more promiscuous than Americans, many French natives are converting to islam, they elect a president who fathered 4 illegitimate kids with one gal, then dumped her for 2 different concubines. Marvelous isn't it? what the absence of a strong compass can do for a nation - and no - an atheist "moral compass" doesn't withstand the test of time.
