Obama’s Betrayal of Israel as a Jewish State

Joseph Klein is a Harvard-trained lawyer and the author of Global Deception: The UN’s Stealth Assault on America’s Freedom and Lethal Engagement: Barack Hussein Obama, the United Nations & Radical Islam.

KerryPalestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has flatly refused to recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state. Such recognition is a key condition that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has demanded for reaching an acceptable peace agreement on a two-state solution with the Palestinians.

Prime Minister Netanyahu explained the importance of such Palestinian recognition, which would amount to an expression of the Palestinians’ good faith intention to truly end the conflict by accepting Israel’s right of self-determination to once and for all live in peace as the Jewish state its founders envisioned:

“The central question at the end is of course ‘Are you willing to recognize that the state of Israel is the nation state of the Jewish nation?’. If you don’t have the brunt of the agreement, then why turn to the leftovers. Concentrate on the central and difficult questions that they need to provide an answer for, but they don’t provide an answer. If they do give an answer — its negative. They say that they will not recognize a Jewish state in order to leave the right of return on the table. So then what are we even talking about here? That a Palestinian state will be established but it will continue its conflict against the state of Israel with more preferential borders? We are a lot of things, but we are definitely not fools.”

Incredibly, the U.S. State Department backs Abbas’ position. The spokeswoman for the State Department, Jen Psaki, stated in an interview Saturday with the “Al-Quds” newspaper that “[T]here is no need for the Palestinians to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. The American stance is clear in that it recognizes Israel as a Jewish state, but there is no need for the Palestinians to recognize it as such in a final agreement.”

Psaki is ignoring the Palestinians’ intent to throw out any Israelis still living in an independent Palestinian state. Abbas, for example, declared that “If we want an independent state, I will not accept any single Israeli in our territories.” He denied that he was against the Jews per se, but such antipathy is precisely what animates the xenophobic, anti-Jewish Palestinian ideology. This ideology starts with the Palestinian Authority’s attempt to falsely re-write the history of the Jewish homeland, denying that Jews have any historic connection to the land at all. Official Palestinian Authority outlets broadcast this lie over and over again. For example, in a documentary appearing last December on an official Palestinian Authority TV station, a woman proclaimed:  “I’m not against Jews. They can live. They can live on Mars, Allah willing, but they cannot take over places that are not their places, or land that is not their land and a homeland that is not their homeland.”

On January 7, 2014, the official spokesperson for President Abbas, Nabil Abu Rudeina, accused the Israeli government of “falsifying history.”

Then there is the provocative statement by Palestinian Authority Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash in a sermon delivered in the presence of Abbas and broadcast on official Palestinian Authority TV. Al-Habbash said that any peace agreement reached with Israel is just the first step towards defeating Israel, citing as the “model” Mohammed’s conquest of Mecca just two years after he had signed a treaty that gave his forces time to gain enough strength to carry out the conquest.

Recognizing Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state would be contrary to the Palestinians’ goal of returning millions of the descendants of the original refugees to pre-1967 Israel. In other words, while insisting that Israel withdraw to the pre-1967 lines to make way for an independent Palestinian state devoid of any Israeli Jews, the Palestinians still demand the right to undermine the Jewish character of Israel, even as it existed pre-1967, by flooding Israel with so-called “refugees” (actually many descendants several generations removed from the original refugees) rather than giving them real homes in an independent Palestinian state.

Thus, Psaki’s dismissal of the importance that Israel attaches to the Palestinians’ recognition of Israel as a Jewish state, as part of any viable peace agreement, enables the Palestinians to continue to pursue their xenophobic, anti-Jewish agenda. However, Psaki is simply reflecting the Obama administration’s willingness to turn a blind eye to Israel’s core concern to maintain its Jewish identity. The Obama administration is willing to bend over backwards to accommodate Palestinian prejudices in pursuit of a vacuous peace. President Obama displayed this callousness during the course of an interview he conducted late last month with Jeffrey Goldberg, a columnist for Bloomberg View. Obama issued a veiled threat of diminished U.S. support for the Jewish state if Israel does not succumb to his demand for more concessions: “If you see no peace deal and continued aggressive settlement construction — and we have seen more aggressive settlement construction over the last couple years than we’ve seen in a very long time,” Obama said. “If Palestinians come to believe that the possibility of a contiguous sovereign Palestinian state is no longer within reach, then our ability to manage the international fallout is going to be limited.”

Obama made no mention of the Palestinian demand for the “right of return,” which could allow potentially millions of refugee descendants to descend on a land they did not come from in the first place. Why doesn’t he publicly upbraid Abbas for refusing to concede on this unreasonable destabilizing demand?

This brings us back to the issue of the Palestinian refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish state as part of a final peace agreement. Perhaps there is an alternative solution which might be difficult for the Palestinians to refuse. They should at least be willing to explicitly acknowledge in the final agreement their support of the two-state principle declared in United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 recommending the partition of Palestine into independent Arab and Jewish states. The Palestinian Authority would have a hard time refusing this proposal since the General Assembly resolution according it observer state status at the UN contains in its preamble the words “The General Assembly…Recalling its resolution 181 (II) of 29 November 1947.”

Moreover, the Application of the State of Palestine for admission to membership in the United Nations, which the Palestinians submitted to the UN Secretary General on September 23, 2011, states as follows:

“This application for membership is being submitted based on the Palestinian people’s natural, legal and historic rights and based on United Nations General Assembly resolution 181 (II) of 29 November 1947…”

Part II of Resolution 181 contains Section A, entitled “THE ARAB STATE,” and Section B, entitled “THE JEWISH STATE.” Why can’t Abbas at least be willing to repeat these headings in an acknowledgment of the rights accorded both sides in the two-state solution embodied in Resolution 181, the resolution he now relies on as a basis for an independent Palestinian state?

Finally, President Abbas himself said he realized that it was a mistake for the Arab states to have rejected the General Assembly Resolution 181 partition plan. In an interview in 2011 with the Israeli Channel Two, President Abbas said: “At that time, 1947, there was Resolution 181, the partition plan, Palestine and Israel. Israel existed. Palestine diminished. Why? […] I know, I know. It was our mistake. It was our mistake. It was an Arab mistake as a whole.”

What the Obama administration should be telling President Abbas in no uncertain terms is to correct the Palestinians’ historic mistake once and for all by explicitly embracing the principle of a Jewish state and an Arab state living side by side, as outlined in Resolution 181. It is time to call Abbas’ bluff rather than having the State Department run interference for him.

Obama is just as unlikely to recognize Israel’s right to exist as Abbas or Hamas. He has even undermined diplomatic efforts, ham-handed though they were, by his Secretary of State, John Kerry. Obama’s hate of Israel is palpable, especially when publicly meeting with Netanyahu.

There is no chance of Obama ever bringing peace to the Middle East. The only way it would happen under his evil watch is if Israel decided to voluntarily move.

Peace doesn’t come from the strategies and actions of evil men.

    • John (N)

Agree with you except that a volontary move by Israel will not bring “peace to the Middle East”.

      • truebearing

Perhaps I worded that a bit clumsily. Even if Israel voluntarily moved to another continent, the Muslims would keep fighting each other. They don’t want peace. Killing those who oppose or violate the teachings of Islam is their way to prove “righteousness.” If they have no infidels to kill, they immediately begin killing each other over doctrinal disputes.

        • SCREW SOCIALISM

True. The proof is that Muslims/Arabs are killing people in droves all over the world. Nothing to do with Israel. Just depraved Islamofascists doing what they think muhammed, the prophet of satan, demands.

      • T800

the two-state solution already exists; Israel and Jordan. Jordan is majority “Palestinian”.
Except that means the PLO must disband and disappear, because Jordan already has a working, functional, peaceful government.
THAT is the real sticking point;the thieves and crooks of the PLO and HAMAS don’t want to lose power and all the “aid” money pouring in that they control.(and use to fund their terrorism.)
BTW,after Jordan signed a peace treaty with Israel, they REFUSED the return of the West Bank, that they had illegally seized in 1948. Just as Gaza was part of Egypt from 1948-1967,and it’s return similarly refused by Egypt.

        • ObamaYoMoma

the two-state solution already exists; Israel and Jordan.

Not really…as there can never be peace between Muslims and infidels as long as Islam exists as a force. Indeed, as long as there are Muslims on this planet, there will always be jihad waged against infidels.

With the increasing influence of Muslims in this country these priorities are going to have to change for all of our sakes Jews and Christians alike. Since Islam takes a dim view of atheism, those folks need to start paying attention also. It is not about Israel anymore

        • wildjew

From a spiritual point of view (Biblically speaking) it is about Israel and always has been about Israel. Islam could be, likely is God’s instrument to judge the earth.

You are (Unfortunately) correct. American “Jewish” voters who voted for the golfer-in-chief perhaps once, but probably twice do not practice Judaism as their religion. Their “Religion” is liberalism. I can assure that a preponderance of Jews in new York City voted for DeBlasio since he is considered “Liberal.”

  • StanleyT

There’s another question to ask Abbas. Ask him if the “Palestinian refugees” who now live in areas controlled by the PA will be granted citizenship of his new state of “Palestine”. And when he says “No”, ask him why not.

He will happily tell you that he cannot grant them “Palestinian” citizenship because they have to “return” to what is now Israel. He’s admitted it openly on previous occasions. And it’s yet more proof that when it comes to the “Palestinian” way of thinking, Israel has no right to exist at all.

  • JVictor

Obama is, has been, and always will be an anti-Semite propped up by the likes of George Soros. Obama will never pressure any of the sworn enemies of Israel (what else can you call nations and terrorist organizations that call for the obliteration of all Jews and total Islamic control of Israel and Jerusalem?) to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist. All of the rhetoric concerning the “two state solution” coming from this administration is merely putting lipstick on a pig which will never negate the fact that it is a pig–and Obama and his cronies have been kissing pigs for a long time.

The time is rapidly approaching when Israel will be totally alone with regard to the nations of the world. Never mind the fact that there will always be people from those nations–a “remnant”–who are ardent supporters of Israel. Israel will be isolated from the rest of the world and will have only One source of help. Hmm. This almost sounds like all is falling into place exactly according to the Tanakh.

    • neilcadman

The New Testament likewise! Israel must read the Old Testament and if they did they would know that God was furious with them on many occasions, in fact most of the time, calling them a stifnecked and stubborn people. God removed Israel from its land twice and twice returned it all as foretold. Idolatry was the reason for it removal the first time for 70 yrs and any informed Israeli should know this but why do not Israelis today ask the obvious question, “Why did God remove us from the land 2,000 yrs ago and for so long? Why was he so furious with us?” Today it is as Isaiah spoke, “Like as a woman with child,
that draweth near the time of her delivery, is
      in pain,
and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD. We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought
forth wind; we have not wrought any
      deliverance in the earth; neither
      have the
inhabitants of the world fallen?” Isa
26:17-18 Israel must ask itself, is the sword of God over us and the Lord still furious with us? The answer is, Yes” and therefore Israel must answer why, and do something about it.

      • Lynn Singleton

I believe that is what is happening to this world as a whole, not just the Jews but to the Christians also, We have stopped going to church, stopped being faithful servents of God, in so leading our children down the wrong path of life. So now he is trying to say get yourselves together ( with hint of world disasters, and pending religious wars all over the world.) or He will.

Being British and a former soldier, I would rather describe Israel as a parliamentary democratic republic, with proportional representation. The fact it was founded by Jews is in my mind irrelevant. Then again I am atheist, as are almost all the Israelis I know. All IDF members.

Frontpage is for the two state solution. Whereas Israelis Jews have traditionally asked for negotiation with its neighbors, one at a time, without outside interference. See http://clarespark.com/2009/09/11/oil-politics-and-obamas-view-of-israeli-history/. “Oil politics and Obama’s view of Israeli history.” There will never be a two state solution, for it is the aim of the elites of Iran and the Arab states to remove the troublemaking Jews in their midst.

  • ObamaYoMoma

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has flatly refused to recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.

This writer apparently still believes that GWB was telling the truth about Islam when he proclaimed shortly after the 9/11 violent jihad attacks that Islam is a so-called “religion of peace” and that the vast overwhelming majority of Muslims in the world are moderate and peaceful people, with the exception of a tiny minority of radical Muslim extremists who misunderstand the beautiful “religion of peace”. Even after both of GWB’s fantasy based nation-building missions to stop the beautiful “religion of peace” from being hijacked by radical Islam and to also bring democracy to the Islamic totalitarian world inevitably turned into the two biggest strategic blunders ever in American history.

Meanwhile, for the people that are not so naive and gullible about Islam as this writer apparently is, why should anyone be surprised that Mahmoud Abbas flat out refuses to recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish infidel state? Especially since recognizing an infidel state’s right to exist would constitute extreme blasphemy, which in Islam is an automatic death sentence? Does Mahmoud Abbas seem particularly suicidal to any of you readers?

I mean it’s not like there is a freedom of conscience that exist within Islam for adherents to choose not to wage jihad (holy war) in one form or another against any and all infidels and infidel states. Not to mention that the sole fundamental purpose of mainstream orthodox Islam, as opposed to the fantasy based model this writer apparently still somehow believes in, is the subjugation of the world into Islamic totalitarianism through both violent and non-violent stealth and deceptive jihad and the eventual imposition of Sharia (Islamic totalitarian law) to ultimately make Islam supreme. As a matter of fact, in Islam the world is divided into the Dar al Islam, i.e., the realm of Sharia and Islam, and the Dar al Harb, the realm of disbelief and war, and the Koran clearly states that there can be no peace on earth as long as chaos exists, i.e., the Dar al Harb.

Such recognition is a key condition that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has demanded for reaching an acceptable peace agreement on a two-state solution with the Palestinians.

As long as Islam exists in the world as a force, there can never be peace between Muslims and infidels. Thus, Netanyahu has staked out a position that forces the so-called Palestinians to expose their weak under belly. Unlike this writer, Netanyahu is no dummy.

Incredibly, the U.S. State Department backs Abbas’ position.

Why should anyone be surprised by the State Department’s position on recognition of Israel’s right to exist by the so-called Palestinians? The U S State Department has been hijacked and co-opted by the Marxist Left in this country for as long as I can remember, as it not only actively works to undermine American interests, but also the interests of our allies as well. Not to mention that the Secretary of State, John Kerry, is an exceedingly incompetent Marxist lunatic himself. Is this writer the last person in America to be surprised by this predicament?

Meanwhile, the usurpation of the history of Israel by the so-called Palestinians, which are the proxies for the greater Islamic totalitarian world, is what constitutes non-violent stealth and deceptive jihad. In fact, the entire peace process, for that matter, is non-violent stealth and deceptive jihad used to weaken Israel, as there can never be peace between Muslims and infidels until their land has been rendered into Islamic totalitarianism via the imposition of Sharia and the Jewish infidels that live there have been rendered into harsh and degrading dhimmitude.

Recognizing Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state would be contrary to the Palestinians’ goal of returning millions of the descendants of the original refugees to pre-1967 Israel.

Again, why should anyone be shocked and surprised by this goal, as it has been the so-called Palestinian position for decades now? Does this writer assume that his reading audience has just fallen off the turnip truck yesterday, or is he just lazy?

On Obama’s position on Israel, everyone and their mother in-laws already know that like all Marxist moonbats Obama hates Israel with every ounce of his fiber and will do his best to not only fundamentally transform America, but to also fundamentally undermine Israel in favor of the Islamic totalitarian world as well. Again, nothing exactly earth shattering there.

They should at least be willing to explicitly acknowledge in the final agreement their support of the two-state principle declared in United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181 recommending the partition of Palestine into independent Arab and Jewish states.

There is and has never been anything Arab whatsoever about the jihad the Islamic totalitarian world has been waging against the infidel state of Israel through their proxies the so-called Palestinians all these many years, except for the fact that a lot of Arabs also happen to be Muslims.

Why can’t Abbas at least be willing to repeat these headings in an acknowledgment of the rights accorded both sides in the two-state solution embodied in Resolution 181, the resolution he now relies on as a basis for an independent Palestinian state?

Does the words, automatic death sentence for all those who blasphemy Islam have any meaning for this writer? Apparently not! Oh…that’s right, like GWB the writer still believes Islam is a so-called “religion of peace”.

What the Obama administration should be telling President Abbas in no uncertain terms is to correct the Palestinians’ historic mistake once and for all by explicitly embracing the principle of a Jewish state and an Arab state living side by side, as outlined in Resolution 181.

And it would be utterly useless, as there can never be peace between Muslims and infidels as long as chaos exists in the world.

It is time to call Abbas’ bluff rather than having the State Department run interference for him.

Apparently, the only person on the planet who doesn’t already know what Abbas’ response would be is this naive and very gullible writer.

First, the Arabs will never recognize Israel as the Jewish state. And in fact, why should they? The left wing in Israel supports the anti-Jewish, racist behavior and policies of the arab leaders of the PLO/PA/Fatah. The Democrat National Committee in the US supports this current administration’s racist anti-Jewish Policy. The majority of the media in Israel and around the world support the racist anti-Jewish narrative that comes from the UN every day and now we have the same racist anti-Jewish narrative coming from the White House and the US State Department. Second, it is quite clear that the current US administration, along with the EU, have give Iran a green light to weaponize nuclear missiles. We see the world stand by with its finger up its proverbial butt while the Russian take over the Crimea from Ukraine. The arabs would have to be idiots to accept Israel as a Jewish state…the only ones trying to stop the arabs from destroying Israel are about 55% of the population in Israel. Most of the rest of the world is basically saying go ahead and kill the Jews. And the fact is that many Jews are part of the destroy the Jews parade: Peace Now, DNC, ADL, J-Street, Senator Chuck Schumer, Sec of Treasury Jacob Lew, NYU, Harvard….I could go on. This is war against the Jews…and wars only end when the belligerent side, the arabs/islamists and their fellow travelers, no longer have the capability to make war. And right how the US and the EU are sending in more ammunition to the Jew haters and building their capability to kill Jews.

Jewish districts in US are divided into at least two camps, just like the whole country. Democrats and Republicans (in simple terms). It’s the same thing as half of Anglo Saxon population are Democrats. Thus, Bob, I’m frustrated with all of them Dems combined. And with Liberal Jews, they are mistakenly following Liberals, those Jews in majority numbers are not religious, though religion should not define persons political affiliation. Some non religious Jews are Conservatives as well. to conclude, Liberal Jews think Liberal movement is actually pro Jewish, only anti Israel as a country, not Jews. And that Israel shouldn’t have been established on the first place, and some Lib Jews think Israel is the aggressor, those are guilt driven mental cases. To conclude, every group has great people in it and mental cases. Same with us Jews in U.S. One time I got up and left the mess at my local synagogue and never came back there again, because local Rabbi was spewing anti Bush rhetoric from the pulpit. So I went to another one where the opposite took place, constant praise for United States, Conservative values, etc.

Ah! Thank You for explaining something to me that I was TOTALLY confused about. However, “Liberal Jews think Liberal movement is actually pro Jewish, only anti Israel as a country, not Jews.” what did you mean here?

          • rubber stamp

Liberal Jews are the same as any Anglo Saxon Liberal. They view the world through prism of being more intellectually advanced, “we-know-better”. Thus, they have a distinctive pattern of behavior that I can’t fully understand myself, and that is: Liberals find it gratifying and almost orgasmic experience to convince those who hate their existence to love them. It’s a physiological problem, they use it as a weapon against their own fears. They think, they can have a “bear summit” with any adversary, Liberals believe they can REASON with the uninformed minds who hate their existence. They will never confront those entities with force. However, Liberals are passionate in showing their anger and frustration to the Civilized cohabitation (The Right, who doesn’t care about being liked by external barbarian adversaries)…, because it’s safe to do so, and makes make look strong and brave in the eyes of real adversary. Which in simple terms can be described as “intellectually dishonest cowards”

he did nothing good for anyone, not the USA not for Israel, he is the worst thing that ever happened to this once great country, and the Jews should be most ashamed for not recognizing that this man is so bad, especially for Israel. I will never forgive nor forget.

      • nopeacenow

Everything Obama touches turns into crap. Let’s remember the next time the Democrats want to elect a community organizer as President.

        • notislam

That’s because he is Muslim –and you can’t say he isn’t.
I don’t understand American Jews that do not understand how much of a traitor BHO is? I hear this excuse of “zionist” Good grief–BHO is a terrorist of the highest order with the lies and using taxpayers money to support terrorist organizations and COMPLICIT CONGRESS allows him to appoint the Muslimbrotherhood to advise him on sharia and all things terrorist—-why?

          • Diunte White

            BINGO you are very right

      • Bob Baylor

They can’t help it! Their children (Many of whom can vote) have been COMPLETELY brainwashed in LIBERAL College’s, add that to liberal upbringings and it was in the bag for Obama; TWICE! And I’m sure many of them would vote for him again…if they could, talk about “self-destructive!”

    • Lynn Singleton

Unless we are blessed with him getting Impeached, we only have 2 more years, and I really believe things will be different. And hopefully America will not make this kind of mistake ever again. I just can’t understand why he was never Impeached! Especially for having some of the Muslim Bro. associated with Homeland Security.

Barack Obama was a personal friend of Edward Said – so none of this is any surprise.

Obama does not see the need for Israel to be recognized as a “Jewish State” and is working to undermine it. If this is all he “achieves” he will have reversed a critical UN resolution of 1947 which recognized Israel as a Jewish State. Those liberal Jews who live in a “post nationalist world” who support Obama don’t get it. Those Muslim Arabs mean to kill us, not live with us and they say so.

Obama says that this is a historical opportunity because Abbas is a “true partner who denounces violence” and there is no guarantee that his replacement will be non-violent. Isn’t Abbas in the 10th year of his 4 year term? Since we agree Abbas is not a legitimate interlocutor, and that any agreement reached will not be respected by his replacement, why are we still talking? Because “talk” is the only thing Obama does? No, he also demands concessions from Israel.

I cannot understand the mentality of a self-identifying Jew who would support this hypocrisy / stupidity. Most Americans have better sense. No concessions made so far have yielded any fruit.

The post colonial/ post Ottoman Arab world is going through drastic changes. The one border that should NOT be made smaller is Israel. Meddle with the others, e.g. Let the Palestinians run Jordon, they are already the majority.

  • Sailfin432

I have nothing against Jews, but I think putting Israel in the Middle East on someone else’s land was about the worst way to ensure that Jews would have a place to go to be safe. It’s been 75 years since the Holocaust and Jewish people live safely around the world for the most part. To the extent that Jews are still threatened or there is still anti-Semitism, I think it’s largely because of anger due to what Israel is doing to the Palestinians. A lot of people, including me, don’t understand why Israel doesn’t just stop its occupation and leave the Palestinians to form their own state. They know that the US will always protect them anyway, and the Israelis are far stronger than any other Arab country. I know this will not be a popular view on this website, but I think it is the truth.

    • ObamaYoMoma

what Israel is doing to the Palestinians.

How mentally incompetent can you be? What Israel is doing to the Palestinians, but not what the so-called Palestinians are doing to the Israelis?

What is happening in Israel is not a so-called conflict over land Israel allegedly stole from the Arabs, as that is complete and utter hogwash. What is going on in Israel instead is an old fashion run of the mill jihad (holy war) being waged by the Islamic totalitarian world through their proxies, the so-called Palestinians, to ultimately make Islam supreme in Israel via the imposition of Sharia, which is Islamic totalitarian law, and to render the Jewish infidels in Israel into harsh and degrading dhimmitude.

Moreover, the jihad (holy war) being waged against the infidels in Israel is not any different from the many other jihads the Islamic totalitarian world is also currently waging against many other infidels throughout the world such as the Hindus in India, the Buddhists in Thailand, the Orthodox Christians in Chechnya and the Balkans, the Christians and animists in the Sudan, and throughout the Western infidel world through mass Muslim immigration with all of its excess baggage that is really non-violent stealth and deceptive jihad for the strategic purpose of demographic conquest. Indeed, how incredibly gullible and naive can you be?

I hate to rain on your mentally deficient parade, but the sole fundamental purpose of Islam is the subjugation of all religions and all infidels into Islamic totalitarianism through both violent and non-violent stealth and deceptive jihad and the eventual imposition of Sharia, which is Islamic totalitarian law, to make Islam supreme throughout the world. As a matter of fact, Islam divides the world into the Dar al Islam, i.e., the realm of Islam and Sharia, and the Dar al Harb, i.e., the land of disbelief and war, and the Koran states that there can be no peace on earth as long as chaos exists in the world, i.e., the Dar al Harb.

Indeed, you are the perfect patsy, the kind that slick Muslim jihadists love to dupe into doing their dirty business for them. How about the way that Christians and various other infidels are oppressed, murdered, and raped throughout the Islamic totalitarian world? How about Islam’s bloody borders? How about the way that all females in the Islamic totalitarian world are treated worse than animals? How about the fact that every Islamic state is an Islamic totalitarian hellhole?

How incredibly narrow-minded and myopic can your world be? You’re a target of Islam, just like the Jews in Israel are being targeted, yet you are apparently so gullible and naive, you’d never figure it out until right before they lopped off your head. Some of you gullible useful idiots will deserve what you get!

One straw man upon another. Your lame attempt at appearing reasonable does not disguise your vile bigotry dressed up by falsehoods and propaganda. The land of Israel never belonged to the Arabs. The Arabs are the aggressors. There are numerous places around the world, where much larger and denser populated areas were taken away from different parties and millions of people were expelled without recourse. Including many in the Arab countries – yet, bigots like you never bring yourselves around to call it occupation or genocide. You’re not fooling anyone.

    • carpe diem 36

you are so ignorant that it is a shame. Jews were in Israel for thousand of years, everywhere you dig in Israel you find ancients scripts, coins, evidence of communities and buildings. palestinians ere never there, there were no Arabs in the world until much later and they were just tribes not an organized communities. as to the palestinians forming their own state: that is exactly what they do not want or else they would have done it in 1947 when the UN partitioned the land and gave them a state, but they instead went to war against the new tiny state of Israel, and lost, and they fought time and again and lost time and again. so the myth that they want a state is just being repeated over and over but it is nothing but a lie. they want to kill Jews in their legitimate state. and it is time that the world understand that.

    • Bklyn Farmer

For someone who posted that Israel’s population is made up of “psychopaths for whom Non-Jewish life is meaningless” trying to pass yourself off as a thoughtful fair poster is going to be the magic trick of the century, good luck selling that bridge troll.

    • nopeacenow

You don’t seriously believe people care about the Palestinians? Just as thousands of Syrians are dying every day in Syria and no one cares. If the Palestinians weren’t fighting the Jews/Israel no one would care that the don’t have a state. Unless Israel can be blamed no one care who dies in the ME or who caused it.

You don’t seriously believe Israel can count on Obama or the US for protection? Considering the way Obama treats the Israeli prime minister and takes the Palestinian side in the dispute Obama or the US cannot be counted on for support. Not under Obama or any future president. Israel must be able to defend itself by itself.

  • Anamah

After betrayal of America, Obama continues with the betrayal of Israel as a Jewish State.
    Not a smidgen of surprise…

  • Bob Baylor

AND, wasn’t it LIBERAL JEWS (and there’s PLENTY of them in NY and Hollywood) who VOTED for this guy? TWICE! LOL!! Talk about payback for blind stupidity.

  • Ken Kelso

So basically Obama wants Israel has to release Arab terrorists, give land, give financial support, stop building in Israel, obviously recognize and create a new terrorist state in return for a peace treaty with the leader one section of Fraudestine that the Terroristinians don’t have to keep, and they can shoot rockets and kill/kidnap Jews while the treaty is being signed.

    This must be some treaty

  • Ken Kelso

Its totally true about the Palestinians for their unwillingness to compromise.
The Palestinians want 2 Palestinian states and no Jewish state.
They want a Palestinian state free of Jews and to flood Israel with millions of Arabs for the 2nd Pal state.

Obama should know, Saying that is it time for the Palestinians to make concessions is the end of the peace talks. Because Palestinians and concessions don’t work together..
This is why they always walk away from deals like Barak and Olmert offered.

PLO will not recognize Israel as a Jewish state because it contravenes their Plan of Phases, adopted in 1974 and never revoked. The plan states that they should get any land they can by diplomatic means until Israel is eradicated.

Fatah admits themselves they want 2 Palestinian states.

PA says Netanyahu’s AIPAC speech amounts to declaration of end of peace talks By JPOST
    03/04/2014

Fatah central committee member Nabil Shaath says diplomatic speech was “an official announcement of a unilateral end to negotiations.”

Netanyahu’s AIPAC speech on Tuesday in Washington was “an official announcement of a unilateral end to negotiations,” AFP reported a top Palestinian official as saying.

Fatah central committee member Nabil Shaath said Netanyahu’s comments “contravene all the rules of the peace negotiations agreed with the Americans”.

Shaath said that Palestinians “totally reject” Israel’s demand of Palestinians to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, as well as Netanyahu’s objection to refusing Palestinian refugees.

Netanyahu, during his speech, stated that a historic peace agreement with the Palestinians would open up the possibility of establishing ties with leading countries in the Arab world.

The prime minister said that many of these Arab countries already know that Israel is not the enemy. “Peace with the Palestinians would turn these into open and thriving relationships.”

    • carpe diem 36

what peace talks? did anyone see them at a table talking even once? this is the stupidest thing obama keeps repeating, but his stupidity shows, there were no talks since the last time the PA said no to an offer. so nothing is happening but Obama pretends that there are “talks” going on.

  • Tom

“contiguous sovereign Palestinian” – Even in the 1947 UN plan the “Arab State” is not contiguous, that would require dividing the “Jewish State” into two non-contiguous regions. Did Obama misspeak or is this now US policy?

    • nopeacenow

Obama makes it up on the go. And it keeps changing. Better write it down. Tomorrow’s demands of Israel will be different.

  • nopeacenow

If the Palestinians are unable to declare an end to the conflict as part of any agreement that would be proof positive that the Palestinian goal was not peace but the destruction of Israel.

Obama is aiding the Palestinian frauds in their efforts to destroy

Obama is definitely antisemtic. He obviously does not believe in the Second Coming.

  • willgtl

Had to stop reading after the 4th paragraph… Yeah, it’s totally wrong for Palestinians to want to toss out the Jews in their territory cause you know, when the Zionists took over Israel, they sure didn’t give the boot to every Palestinian and hand their homes to Jews on a silver platter…

Way to be brainwashed by American propaganda. Most Americans have no idea how the Jewish state of Israel came to be in the ’50s…

If a group of people sacked the United States, would you seriously say “Oh, well that’s okay, we can live in peace and harmony. I totally don’t want the land back that you stole from me when you violently exiled us and slaughtered our people.”

Anti-Zionism is not anti-semitism… There are plenty of Jews that hate Zionism, just as there are plenty of Palestinians that hate Zionism. This whole article sounds an awful lot like Islamaphobia. The US is one of the very few states that still support Zionist Israel.
