If the situation in Iran is a bleak as some of the data currently suggest, if the people are really as dissatisfied with the mullahs who run the country as some experts on the country believe, then is would be a mistake of the highest order of magnitude to help them jump start their economy. Instead of weakening the sanctions, they should be made tougher in hopes it will help bring the government down before it gets nuclear weapons. Afterwards, it will be too late. Once Iran has “the bomb,” the mullahs will never be driven from power.

if Iran was not seeking nuclear weapons, they would not have run computer simulations for increasing the yield of a nuclear bomb,or tested neutron initiators and implosions of dummy pits at Parchin. (all violations of the NPT)
If Iran only wanted a peaceful nuclear industry, they would not have constructed centrifuges and sites in secret,in violation of the NPT. They would have done it openly, with full knowledge and consent of the IAEA and UN,and avoided sanctions from the beginning.
If Iran didn't intend on attacking the US,they would not be building a missile base in Venezuela,or testing SCUD launches from container ships.
I'd think Iran has better things to do with their money and resources.

'From Persia, very near a million...' - Michel de Nostradame. I hope Israel is warming Dimona up. The time is near. In any fight the aggressor throws the first punch, but in order to win, it is the victim who has to throw the last punch. Israel, you're about to arrive. Good luck. Luv ya!

Generally, everyone who uses the term "chessboard" and insinuates a regional domino theory of nuclear empowerment should be laughed out of the stadium. What decade is this? And who just read Brzezinski For Dummies?
