Killings of Christians by Islamists Doubled in 2013

Egyptian Copts are the largest community of Christians left in the Middle EastAccording to Open Doors, a non-denominational group that supports persecuted Christians worldwide, the official number of Christians killed for their faith around the world doubled in 2013, compared to 2012. According to the annual survey, the number of Christians killed in Syria in 2013 comes to more than the whole global total of 2012. Approximately 13 percent of the Syrian population is made up of Christians.

In the list of nations with the highest number of killings of Christians, Syria was followed by Nigeria, Pakistan, and Egypt. In its 2014 World Watch List, Somalia comes in at the top of the list— moving from fifth to second place— followed by Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, the Maldives, Pakistan, Islamic Republic of Iran and Yemen.

The survey conducted by Open Doors only counts the numbers of Christian who are killed, reported in the media, and confirmed. Some estimates by other surveys indicate the number exceeds 10,000 deaths. Open Doors has reported that it documented 2,123 killings, compared to the 1,201 in 2012. In 2013, 1,213 of these people were killed in Syria alone. “This is a very minimal count based on what has been reported in the media and we can confirm,” said Frans Veerman, head of research for Open Doors.

The report revealed that “Islamist extremism is the worst persecutor of the worldwide church,” adding that in 36 countries on the report’s list, radical Muslims were the key source behind these persecutions and killings. Michel Varton, head of Open Doors France, told journalists in Strasbourg, “In Syria, another war is thriving in the shadow of the civil war – the war against the church.”

The intriguing issue is that various Islamist rebel groups— including Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, the Nusra Front, Ahrar al-Sham brigade, and other Al-Qaeda-linked groups— are still promising minorities (particularly Christians) that they will have a peaceful life if they support them and if the Islamists come to power. It would be interesting to see an Islamist group provide an example of an Islamist state that has provided full rights for religious and ethnic minorities since the emergence of Islam. Astonishingly, these Islamists groups still emphasize that the rights of religious minorities will be preserved.

This is just another strategic tactic to take control of the states and then impose Sharia and Islamic laws, discriminate against minorities, jail and imprison non-Muslims, and persecute minorities— particularly Christians and Jews.

The first laws that they will pass when they come to power will include: Islam will be declared the sole religion of the state, the law of the land will come from the Sharia, other religions will not be recognized, Christians and other minorities will not be able to run for office, women will not be full citizens, and more. Some other, more ridiculous, Sharia laws may also be implemented, including how women cannot sit on chairs or drive any kind of transportation.

There are many examples of these types of promises made by Islamist groups before they come to power in the history of Islam. For example, the Islamist party of Iran galvanized the support of women and minorities by promising change, yet later imposed the most brutal and barbaric laws against them. These examples existed for the last 1400 years, since the rise of Islam.

Additionally, how can Christians trust the Islamists when they have been executing their own members for the sake of power and for violating Sharia and Allah’s laws?

This week, according to several national and international news outlets and activists on the ground, the Islamist State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has executed dozens of other Islamist rebels in Syria.  ISIL, an Al-Qaeda-linked group, has regained most of the territory it lost in the northeastern Raqqa province. Accordingly, approximately 100 rebel fighters from the Nusra Front— another Al-Qaeda-linked group and Ahrar al-Sham brigade— were executed after being captured by ISIL. Reuters quoted activists as saying that the rebel fighters were captured in the town of Tel Abiad, on the border with Turkey.

ISIL has launched its campaign to build an Islamist caliphate, combining Syria and Iraq through brutalizing the civilians, government forces, and rebel-held areas, while gaining territories and executing those they say have violated Sharia and Islamic law. An unnamed activist said to Reuters, “About 70 bodies, most shot in the head, were collected and sent to the Raqqa National hospital,” adding, “Many of those executed had been wounded in the fighting. The fact that Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham are ideologically similar to the ISIL did not matter.”

It seems that believing in one God, Muhammad, the Quran, and all Islamic and Sharia laws does not matter for the Islamists when it comes to gaining power.  Although, their major argument is that they respect those who believe in Allah and Muslims, history has shown that during the last thousand years what truly matters for Islamists is power and rule.

Prince Charles has decried the persecution of Christians in Islamic countries. Dr. David Curry, CEO and president of Open Doors USA, told The Blaze, “We’re going to motivate the U.S. to pay attention to this issue as a critical component of creating free societies and to support Christians wherever they may be in the world.” Now is the time to observe whether President Obama is also going to issue any statement supporting the persecuted Christians around the world.

He thinks he’s getting 79 virgins, but doesn’t realize that “79″ is the age of the youngest one.

        • Headed4TheHills

79 virgins – didn’t say what species. I have a feeling ol’ Muslim Joe (or Muhammad79 for that matter) might be a wee bit surprised when they get wherever it is murders for Allah go.

Who said the Devil doesn’t have a sense of humor?

79 virginal goats, the west will supply them, virginal goats in any muslim country worldwide would very difficult to find….. lol

(Quran 9:5): Then when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush.

(Quran 8:12): Remember Thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): “I am with you: give firmness to the believers, I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, Smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger tips of them.”

      Yes how about it!

  • truebearing

If Obama does make a statement, it will be insincere, muted, and likely full of cues to the Muslims that he is only doing it for political reasons. If he cared one whit about Muslims persecuting Christians, he would have suspended aid the the Muslim Brotherhood when they were persecuting, even crucifying, Christians.

    • Dyer’s Eve

Well said. But, as we know, Obama is the AntiChrist.

look at the people killed in Afghanistan (millions), Iraq, etc at the beginning by Christian governments and soldiers..

        • JoJoJams

There haven’t been “millions” killed in Afghanistan due to the U.S. war against them, which was in response to that nation’s support and harboring of the people that attacked us on 9/11. Ahem. – the REASON we are there in the first place. – is THEY attacked us! And, as is usual when a muzzie gets there ar se kicked (from someone fighting back), they stop – scream Foul! – whine like little girls…….and regroup until the next time you or your barbaric brethren are ready to attack again.

No matter the death count over there – it would never had happened had they not harbored those who attacked OUR nation. While I’m sure you can understand defense of oneself if a member of your ummah got attacked, it’s the height of ignorance and ridiculous arrogant Islamic imperialism to take offense when someone actually fights back against your twisted co-religionists.

I do realize you ignorant muslims cannot comprehend a government, and nation, without a “religion” being involved (it’s all that 1st cousin inbreeding your ignorant “prophet” said was aok, despite actual knowledge and science to the contrary), but there are definitely no “Christian governments” in Afghanistan, even if there are many soldiers of the Christian faith there. I know. I know. That’s too deep and nuanced an intellectual argument for your atrophied heart and mind (due to islam), but reality is – what actual reality is – not what some barbaric ignorant muslim believes some made up prophet and “god” told them is true.

Reality has a way with bursting the bubbles of the ignorant. The brainwashed take a bit longer. And I pray you’ll come around and see, not only the error of YOUR ways, but also the error of the ways of your made-up ignorant – and false…. “religion”.

          • Muhammad79

            What about Iraq?

          • JoJoJams

It should have been Iran….. Then the Persians could actually be free of the depravity of the terror sponsoring mad mullahs and their apocalyptic version of Shiite islam, as well as the ignorance and barbarity of the shia. But as to Iraq, there haven’t been “millions” killed there, either – and the overwhelming majority that have been killed there, were killed by your fellow co-religionists.

        • Anon.

Muhammad, that is the ignorant view that a lot of non-Western countries have of the West..in fact religion and government are separated in our countries and religion in general is in a steep decline.
We’re not out to kill people that don’t think the same as us but we sure as hell are running out of patience for all the violent, mysogynistic and close minded bull shit that islam is bringing to us.

        • EamonnDublin

Millions??!! Still talking ess aitch one tee, Mohammad. Éamonn.

  • Muhammad79

    How about that?

  • defcon 4

Yeah, it’s “islamists” killing Christians, not muslimes.

    • edward jacob

they islamists are doing what mohamed ,,a,k,a, allah commanded them to do….,,do the *muslmes* believe in a different *allah*?

      • defcon 4

Exactly, islamist is the distinction w/o a difference.

  • Walter Sieruk

The extreme hate of those Muslims against those Christians is so intense that if those Muslims are able to, will murder them. This is explained ,in part, in the Bible. For in the Bible in Proverbs 29:10, it teaches “Bloodthristy men hate a man of integrity and seek to kill the upright.” [NIV]

    • Jenny Gyro

Xtians are the easiest target, as they are not united and they carry not only the dogma of turning the cheek but the stigma of being a Christian – a state of apology that they have allowed to be impressed upon them in the last couple of decades. The other two monotheistic communities have their way with them, take their money, their real estate and even infiltrate their judiciary…while the secular humanists manipulate the big picture with psyops.

  • Kim Hillstrom

I just love how the self righteous so called “Christians” believe that their God is the only one and the right one. I used to be a bible thumping Christian. Now I have doubts. When I see all the hatred that comes from people that are supposed to be Christian, it makes me wonder. What God are you really serving?

    • unionville

It’s interesting that your response to an article about the murder of Christians by Islamists is a short diatribe about “self-righteous” hateful bible thumpers. What is your point? That they have it coming to them for being monotheistic and believing their God is the only God. Or is it their fealty to the bible on homosexuality that has your panties in a twist?

      • Kim Hillstrom

My “panties” are not in a twist, but obviously yours are. Modern day Christians like to talk about Jesus and the bible but act totally opposite of what they like to spew. Their belief that their God is the only God is what makes them such hypocrites. Religious hypocrites are the worst kind of hypocrite. They talk out of both sides of their mouths. They constantly judge others but take offense when the judgement is on them. Kinda like you.

        • defcon 4

Musilmes are killing Christians and this is the BEST you can do? Go back to your troll hole fool.

        • Drakken

Let me guess? You voted for Comrade Obummer didn’t you?

        • JoJoJams

“Their belief that their God is the only God is what makes them such hypocrites.” Seriously? You actually think that is an argument? By the actual definition of a hypocrite, they would be ones if they “had their own, one god”, but then said eh, we don’t know – it really could be there are more. THAT would be a hypocritical faith! Now, you can call them hypocrites for some of the other chatter you threw out in other posts (and some, deservedly so), but someone believing their god is the only god is in no way at all “hypocrisy”. Think much? Or are you typical of the loony left, redefining what words mean?

        • unionville

I take it your answer is yes, Christians who are murdered at the hands of Islamists have it coming to them.

You clearly do have a stick up your bum about Christians. Your generalizations about all Christians is breath-taking and your myopia is stunning to behold. The only one doing the judging in this conversation is you.

        • truebearing

With all due respect, which is none, your comment is incoherent. For instance: “Their belief that their God is the only God is what makes them such hypocrites.”

That is what Christianity teaches. If Christians believe those teachings, they are being devout, not hypocritical. You don’t know the meaning of the word “hypocritical” and you don’t know anything about Christianity. You are a liar, a fraud, and a fool.

    • Headed4TheHills

Don’t give up on God jus’ because His followers might do something y’all don’t like.We are fallible humans. We get it wrong more often than not.

    • itaintmojo

With all due respect, what is wrong with you? What faith believes in more than one God? Self righteousness isn’t relegated to any one sect or tribe. Christians are far more loving and forgiving than anything close to being hateful. You don’t need to bible thump to be a good Christian, and you don’t need to put all Christians in the same basket, if you meet some unkind Christians. Keep the good, and ignore the bad. The Coptic Christians of Egypt (oldest Christians in the world) are being slaughtered by Sharia Muslims, for no other reason but that they are Christians. Christian churches, schools, and businesses are burned down, and Christian kids are being shot dead. Just for being Christian. Do the self righteous Christians you have been so unfortunate to have met affect you that much, to condone the killing of innocent peaceful Christians at the hands of intolerant Sharia butchers?

      • Kim Hillstrom

It’s rather difficult to ignore the bad when they are all over the web, the tv and the radio. Politicos that are supposed to make laws that affect all people are trying to force their religious beliefs down our throats when they are not supposed to bring religion into policy making. Also, let’s look at Israel. Palestinians are being killed, children included just because they are Arab. One shouldn’t try to make their own faith look clean when they condone what another faith is doing. (the Jewish extermination of the Palestinians) And yes, the self righteous phony Christians have affected me that much. Joel Osteen is worth about $40million bucks. Doesn’t apologize for living in a mansion. All of these other people like Pat Robertson who are so hateful and don’t practice what they preach are sickening. It doesn’t pay to fellowship with anyone because they may change the way you think about your faith. I am disgusted with the phony Christians who spew hatred and intolerance. We aren’t supposed to judge but they all do. And on national tv, or the internet or the radio. They spew hatred and so many people fall for it because they are “Christian”. They believe that if it is coming out of the mouth of a professed believer that it must be true. Christianity in its nature is non violent, but modern day Christians have fallen away from what they were instructed to do. They not only hate the sin, but they hate the sinner too. There are too many hypocrites. No wonder people are getting away from organized religion.

        • JoJoJams

I’ve figured it out. You’re actually delusional! you spouted so many talking point non-sense (misinterpreting aspects of life) that I don’t know where to begin! I’ll just pick this one: “(the Jewish extermination of the Palestinians)”
Those Jews just SUCK at that whole “genocide” thing! I mean, the pallys grew from 600,000 to tens of millions! lol. There is NO “extermination” – other than the charters of Hamas and Hezbollah and the beliefs of tens of millions of fanatical (read: pious, observant) muslims wanting to destroy Israel – per their OWN D@MN WORDS! (that get ignored and pooh poohed by anti-semites and ignorant people in the west.)

Enough. You’re too deluded, and I truly pity you.

        • itaintmojo

I believe every human being is unique. Each one has the ability through their own uniqueness, to formulate personal amendments to the ideology we are born in to or choose. There are bad and good in every race and religion. People with good intent need not abandon their faith for people with bad intent. Hold on to what you believe in, in the vision you see it should be, if it is well intended. Don’t let the bad apples spoil your goodness.

Arabs hate Jews and teach their kids to hate Jews at home by parents, and in school as part of the curriculum. They disagree with Israel’s existence. They have been extremely hostile towards Israelis. Suicide bombers, stone throwers, and rocket launchers. Israel reacts to the hostility. If Arabs would not be hostile, not one Arab would die from counter attack. Arab prejudice, towards Jews and Israel, is immense, and blatant. I don’t know how you came to your appraisal, but I totally disagree with your take on that one.

          • defcon 4

Yes, everyone is “unique”, just like everyone else.

        • defcon 4

Pat Robertson “hateful”? In comparison to what? Your fun loving islam0nazi apes who call for the destruction of Israel, stoning of adulterers, the hanging of gays and the imposition of sharia law?

    • defcon 4

At least they don’t believe in killing and persecuting the unbeliever anymore — especially when they’re being murdered, raped and persecuted by muslimes. Now go back to your troll hole.

    • Drakken

Well now, why don’t you take your little soccer mom self over there and give them a good stern talking to and show them the error of their ways since singing kumbaya, a lot of wishful thinking and let us not forget the COEXIST sticker on that mini van of yours will certainly get the job done.
Obviously little mrs soccer mom, your not quite up on current events are you?

      • Kim Hillstrom

Yes. Actually I do. And if this grandma had a mini van I would have a COEXIST sticker on it. But you tolerant, non-judgemental “Christians” still wouldn’t get what it means.

        • JoJoJams

People like you remind me of Timothy Treadwell. He was a loving tree-hugger nicknamed “the bear man”, and they even made a documentary of him living out in the wild with a bear clan. Of course, one summer a drought hit and bears, being bears, one of them killed and ate him and his girlfriend.

You, ma’am, are just as ignorant. “Speak softly, but carry a big stick” is still good advice in this world with human animals. They’re not all as “enlightened” as your precious self.

          • Kim Hillstrom

I have read the bible from cover to cover. Studied it with a Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic dictionary and a Concordance. I know what the bible says. And yes, I would be inclined to agree. I am very enlightened.

          • Drakken

Obviously you are not, for if you knew what you were talking about instead of your wishful thinking and traveled a little bit to some of the troubled regions in the world, you would not be talking out of your backside because your mouth knows better.

          • JoJoJams

Kim, I believe you are honestly sincere – but that doesn’t make it “right”, though I’ve always spouted that, “The Truth is always somewhere in the middle.”

Reading your last sentence, I couldn’t help but think of Romans 1:22 – 32 — complete fulfillment, if you will, of what you have been spouting here, on an article regarding the doubling of Christian persecution in the muslim world – which is a real and definite fact – to spout anti-Christian b.s. and “new age” crap. “Proclaiming themselves wise, they became as fools”. Just as did Timothy Treadwell.

“And in those days right will be called wrong, and wrong will be called right.”

Your last sentence says it all, about the condition of your soul.

        • Drakken

Sorry to burst your little liberal bubble of denial, but, I am not one of those tolerant, turn the other cheek Christians, for I don’t believe in being suicidal to a people that want me and mine dead. God helps those who helps themselves, it is that bloody simple. Not all people, not all cultures and not all religions are all equal, and if you had ever traveled outside that suburban home of yours, you would know that. Why is it that folks with Swedish names are now the most suicidal. Enlightened you say? I can’t laugh hard enough.

        • therealpm

How do you coexist with someone who wants to kill you? Would you advise the Syrian Christians to coexist with the jihadist fanatics who have killed so many of them? That’s just a recipe for ensuring that the remaining Christians will also be slaughtered.

The trouble with present day liberal types is that they are so full of loathing for their own countries that they are totally blind to the all too real faults of their enemies. They believe utterly, with an almost religious conviction, in their righteousness and that everyone else should be like them. The infantile naivety of their position is truly shocking. Jens Orbach’s idiotic statement that if we’re nice to the Muslims then they’ll be nice to us illustrates their delusional mindset perfectly.

The Christians of Syria are discovering for themselves just how nice the Muslims really are, just as those of Egypt and Iraq have done. Of course these Middle Eastern Christians have lived with Islam for centuries and were all too aware of its psychopathic tendencies. Many of those in the West are living in cloud cuckoo land however, especially in Europe where the churches are more concerned about whether homosexuals should be priests than about the massacres being perpetrated on their doorstep.

Daniel Greenfield touched on this yesterday on his blog about Obama’s appeasement of Iran. Coexistence is all very laudable, but it requires both sides to play to be successful. We find ourselves in a situation where one side, the Islamic one, has no intention of playing by the rules. In those circumstances words like appeasement and coexistence are just synonyms for surrender. The time has come to draw a line and say that from this line we will not retreat. We must take a stance in defence of the many wonderful achievements of our civilisation, for if we fail to do so the future for our grandchildren will be one of Islamic darkness and barbarity.

          • Kim Hillstrom

I will respond the the last sentence of your comment. We do have great achievements in our civilization, however the republicans, most specifically the tea party repubs want us to become a “Christian Nation” where laws are made based on their personal beliefs. That is not what the founders wanted. That is not what should be. We are given freedom of religion or from religion by the first amendment. Right wingers are always screaming about the 2nd amendment and their “right” to walk around with a gun over their shoulder and they curse anyone they think will try to remove that right from them. Yet they want to impose their personal religious beliefs on everyone else. That makes them like the Taliban because that is exactly what their agenda is. To make everyone adhere to their beliefs. You speak of darkness and barbarity. After reading the comments to what I had posted initially, these “Christian” responders are the reason people turn away from religion. They are the problem. They are full of judgement and hate and intolerance. They stifle other people from giving an opinion that is not on par with their own beliefs. If some of these people had half a brain they would realize this after seeing their own remarks.

          • Drakken

Your utter stupidity is absolutely stunning, you do not understand Tea Party politics or what policies they are going for, but then again, libtard progressives never will understand it, and advocate for their own demise, your grand children will curse you for idiocy.

          • defcon 4

I like the generalization about whoever supports the 2nd Amendment: “they want to impose their personal religious beliefs on everyone else.” Damn you’re dumb. You must be college educated.

        • defcon 4

Why don’t you try preaching your “COEXIST” nonsense in any islamic state dirtbag? Put your money where your mouth is.

    • Texas Patriot

Thumping the Bible may have been the source of your problem. Reading it is really a much better approach. Here’s a hint. Self defense is not hatred; it’s survival. And it’s been a recognized moral right of all human beings since the beginning of time, and nothing Jesus said did anything to take away that right. But let’s be clear about it. Jesus did say that we should turn the cheek against all insults, which is good advice. He did say that we should turn the other cheek if someone slaps us in the face. He even said that if someone wants our coat, we should give it to them. But he did not say that we should allow thieves to break into our houses and murder our families. Thump less. Read more.

      • JoJoJams

((wish I could give you ten thumbs up! I respond the same way to those that show their ignorance of christian doctrines, and you are spot on!))

      • truebearing

We agree on this. Well played.

        • Texas Patriot

If you can see that I’m right about this, there may be hope for you yet. I see you as a talented but misguided ideological warrior. You just need to tweak your ideology a bit, and I think you will be fine. The bottom line with Authentic American Conservatism is the philosophy of truth and love. Not just truth, and not just love. But truth and love, and the love part is especially important in the case of enemies.

As Jesus said, if we take the plank out of our own eye, then maybe we will be able to see clearly enough to take the splinter out of our brother’s eye. Unfortunately, we are all much more blind than we would like to think we are, and our enemies are probably even more blind than we are. From my perspective, the only hope we have of coming through the dual nightmare of a failed middle eastern policy and a gutted U.S. economy is a strict adherence to the doctrines of truth and love. And where that truth and that love needs to start is with ourselves and how we treat each other.

No more flamethrowers, and no more fireballs. Leave that to the Limbaughs and Horowitzes of the world. The conservative movement in the United States is in disarray, and we need strong leadership. You can play a part in that, but only if you choose the path of truth and love.

          Peace.

          • defcon 4

You can’t have “peace” when the followers of islam want you enslaved or dead.

          • Texas Patriot

D4: “You can’t have ‘peace’ when the followers of islam want you enslaved or dead.”

Very true. But that doesn’t mean we have to hate them. It just means that we have to love them no matter how deluded and misguided they may be. Who knows, someday they may decide to reject the teachings and life example of Muhammad and his followers. Someday they may give up the dream of world conquest and submission of non-Muslims. Someday they may really want to live in peace with the rest of the world. In the meantime, we have to deal with reality as we find it and be prepared to defend ourselves. As Jesus said, “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.” No one said it would be easy. ;-)

          • defcon 4

You’re quite insane. For muslo-nazis to “reject the teachings and life example of muhahahahahaMAD” means they’re not muslimes anymore, at least in any meaningful sense of the word.

          • Texas Patriot

Open your eyes. They do it all the time. The more that do it, the more there are who are likely to do it. Anything is possible in this situation. As it is written, “The Lord works in mysterious ways.”

          • defcon 4

Why don’t you declaim your theories about muslimes renouncing islam in any islamic state? After all, if they “do it all the time” you’ll have nothing to fear.

          • Texas Patriot

No one knows what the future holds. Not me, and not you. If we stand up for our values of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, human equality, and constitutional democracy, my hunch is that the “Muslim problem” will disappear like a mirage in the desert. Some Muslims will voluntarily renounce Islam and choose our way of life. Others will return to Muslim-majority nations where they can do whatever they want.

          • defcon 4

1400 years of unending islamic brutality, persecution, ethnic cleansing and genocide say you’re wrong.

          • Texas Patriot

It’s only recently that Muslims have been permitted to immigrate into Western nations, and they’ve done so under the false pretenses that Islam is a religion of peace. Now that we know that Islam is a religion of conquest with an embedded doctrine of global domination and the involuntary imposition of sharia law on non-Muslims, it is inevitable that Muslims will be asked to renounce jihad or leave the West. It may not happen this year or next year or this decade or next decade, but eventually Muslims will be confronted with the truth and put to a choice. When that happens, the problem will be resolved one way or another.

          • defcon 4

What do you think jihad is? Do you think it is ONLY violent?

          • Texas Patriot

D4: “What do you think jihad is? Do you think it is ONLY violent?”

I think it is an ideology of conquest and submission which is inconsistent with the ideals of Western Civilization including individual freedom, human rights, and constitutional democracy. What else do we need to know?

          • defcon 4

            OK, fair enough.

  • leonkushner

What is also troubling is how many Christian organizations continue to demonize Israel while absolutely ignoring what Muslims are doing to their own. Christians in general are way too quiet on this. Is it because of their large numbers that they forgo the thousands killed, tortured, attacked and those forced to live in utter poverty in many Arab countries? We love our Christian brothers (at least the ones who love us). We pray for the safety of all good people and the eradication of all evil people.

    • Bklyn Farmer

Agree, there seems to be a direct correlation between how a particular Christian organization views Israel and their concern for fellow Christians. Those that are anti-Israel are also silent about Christian prosecution in the Middle East and conversely those that are concern for the safety of Israel (thanks you) are vocal about the murder and attacks against Christians.
Ditto with respect to you last 2 sentence/ Thanks

    • Uri Nidiet
    • Drakken

Well you can either pray about it, or praise Jesus and pass the ammo, the only thing that is going to stop this slaughter is to arm those Christians being slaughtered, the time to turn the other cheek is over, or perish.

    • BagLady

“We love our Christian brothers (at least the ones who love us)….”

Strings attached to your “love” then.

      • leonkushner

Correct. There are many people worth loving and those not worthy of receiving my love, be they Christians, Jews or whatever their religious beliefs may be, will not get it. Those who serve out hate will get hate back in their face.

  • christian

Surprising facts, but admit the numbers are still below what I expected.
When will Christians wake up and recognize Islam represents the greatest threat? They move into our countries, build up solid minorities, change society, and spread while we ‘turn the other cheek’

” They move into our countries, build up solid minorities, change society and spread…..” Hm.

Here is a map of Muslim countries taken over by western powers since1798: Just pointing it out.

      • ebonystone

A good many countries on that map are not, and never have been, Moslem. For example: South Africa, Namibia, Zambia. Angola, Mozambique. Madagascar, Malawi, the Congo, Tanganyika, Kenya.
None of the countries on the map have been ruled by Western powers for fifty years or more.
The whole northern tier of countries — Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco — were Christian countries that were conquered by Moslem armies, and their populations enslaved.

  • itaintmojo

I will be shocked if O’Liar says a word. If he does it will be another lie, from being pressured to do so. O’Liar only has empathy for those who worship the “prophet” of Islam, and none for those who slander said “prophet”.

  • ObamaYoMoma

Killings of Christians by Islamists Doubled in 2013

And Islamists consist of every mainstream orthodox Muslim in the world, as the only path to salvation for Muslim adherents is through waging jihad in the cause of Allah against infidels to ultimately make Islam supreme.

  • R2P

All persecuted Christians in the MENA region are hereby invited to seek refuge in Eretz Yisrael. Naturally, such a large influx of people will necessitate a humane and proportional population exchange. Therefore, all Muslims currently residing between the Rivers Prat and Ye’or and between the cities of Dameshek and Yathrib are to leave immediately.

    • defcon 4

What an ideal solution that would be.

  • Rosasolis

The Islamic terrorism is increasing daily. Within 5 years they will have
taken over all of the Middle-East, Africa, and most of Asia. –
If they are not stopped! When is our Western World going to wake up,
and at last realize what the Ultimate Goal of the Islam is:
” World Domination and forcing their Sharia Law upon all people
    Through Fire and the Sword.”
This is written in the Koran.
They have never shown any peace. Soon their Sharia Law will force
millions of intelligent, poverty-stricken and helpless people to exist
in the Middle-Ages life-style which they are planning to re-create.
While our Western-Civilization sleeps, these terrorist groups are expanding
everywhere. Many of them are very well organized and they have all kinds
    of terrible weapons.
Soon their Jihad will spread throughout Europe, and then to
    North and South America.
Today 21 government and UN workers were killed by a suicide
bomber at a restaurant in Kabul, Afghanistan.

  • Democide

It is just the ongoing economic genocide of white peoples and destruction of science, technology, and western culture.

Any group of people (whites & Christians) too stupid to wake up an take notice of their own extermination is far too stupid to survive on planet Earth.

Too busy watching sports, watching reality TV shows, playing video games, goingto movies, and paying half their earnings in taxes to give food to people who don’t work.
