Obama Secretly Giving In to Iran’s Nuke Demands

Iran-nuclear-weapons-program-IAEA-reportFor several reasons, President Obama appears to be desperate to seal a final nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic, even if the comprehensive nuclear pact would leave the Iranian leaders with the nuclear infrastructure and required centrifuges to build an atomic bomb. Based on the latest developments, it is clear the Obama administration has steadily become much more lenient and compromising, giving unprecedented concessions to the Islamic Republic, some of which have been kept clandestine.

As the nuclear talks continue between Iranian leaders and representatives from the P5+1 (China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States), the nuclear negotiations have turned primarily into a show between the United States and the Islamic Republic. Increasingly, Iranian and American politicians from both sides have been holding bilateral talks in order to strike a nuclear deal by the extended deadline of November 24.

The US and Iran appear to be the two major players in the nuclear talks, as the White House began reshaping the nuclear negotiations which fall right into the interests of Iranian politicians.

First of all, the main demand of the United States and other world powers was that the Islamic Republic had to dismantle its nuclear infrastructure for the United Nations Security Council to remove the four rounds of economic and political sanctions on Iran. Dismantlement of the major nuclear facilities would give the international community a considerable amount of relief from Iran’s potential to develop an atomic bomb anytime soon.

In the past months, the nuclear talks became stagnant due to the fact that Iranian leaders, particularly Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the senior cadre of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, suggested that they will not give an inch or dismantle their nuclear infrastructure.

How did President Obama respond to Iranian leaders’ zero sum political game and uncompromising standpoint? Intriguingly, President Obama made a decision to secretly lower the international community’s demands to satisfy the Iranian nuclear team’s demands. It is key to point out that the decision he made highlights a significant shift in nuclear negotiations. The White House proposed that the Islamic Republic disconnect rather than dismantle its centrifuges, which can be used to enrich uranium and obtain a nuclear bomb. This is a critical shift in the American position towards Iran’s nuclear defiance.

President Obama’s proposal to the Islamic Republic would in fact leave Iranian leaders with all their nuclear infrastructure they have so far developed. Iranian leaders would also be capable of secretly continuing to enrich uranium through bypassing the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)’s rules. In addition, since the nuclear infrastructure and centrifuges would remain almost intact, the Islamic Republic would be capable of resuming its nuclear activities anytime they desire in the future; this can occur potentially after economic sanctions were removed and Iran’s objective achieved.

President Obama’s offer to the Iranian leaders was kept secret from the public and US Congress as well. The proposal was disclosed by the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif who held private conversations with U.S. experts in New York.

After President Obama’s proposal was revealed, Congress understandably raised a series of concerns. Senator Mark Steven Kirk (R-Ill.) initiated a letter, which included thirty other Senators, to Secretary of State John Kerry, pointing out that the Obama administration “may now be offering troubling nuclear concessions to Iran in the hopes of rapidly concluding negotiations for a ‘deal.’”

President Obama will be in office for a few more years, but if the final nuclear deal is signed based on President Obama’s proposal, it will pose an unprecedented danger and an irresolvable global issue with regard to the Islamic Republic’s nuclear threat as well as Tehran’s ideological and hegemonic ambitions.

Numerous reasons may be behind President Obama’s leniency, priority changes and determination to strike a final nuclear deal with Iran. First of all, Obama cannot run for reelection. As a result, a flimsy nuclear deal — which would leave the Islamic Republic with a path to develop a nuclear bomb — would not affect his political career. Secondly, President Obama can add another achievement to his political career and history for being the first US President to seal a final nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Third, President Obama’s leadership has always been weak when it comes to dealing with Iran’s Supreme Leader and Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps. Iranian leaders have masterfully taken advantage of his leaderless personality. The Islamic Republic is even attempting to get more concessions from the White House by linking its fight against the Islamic State with the nuclear negations as a trade off. Apparently, all odds are in favor of the Iranian leaders so far as they are cognizant of that fact that they are facing a lenient and weak US President and as they are increasingly and steadily increasing their leverage over the US.

President Obama’s proposal and leniency would grant Ayatollah Khamenei what he desires: removal of economic sanctions as well as maintaining the right the enrich uranium; build an atomic bomb.

There already is a nuclear deal in place and Iran is already a nuclear state. And Obama knows it. What’s left is how to sell it to Americans. That’s all. Iran has been, effectively, a nuclear state since mid 2012 and Obama and Iran quietly reached a detente for Iran not to advertise that fact in exchange for $30 billion dollars in sanctions relief.

“The White House proposed that the Islamic Republic disconnect rather than dismantle its centrifuges…” Reminiscent of the Huckster from Hype, er, Bill Clinoochio running around telling anyone who’d listen that Russian nuclear missiles were no longer aimed at the US. The Russian nukes could be retargeted in about 15 minutes. How long do you suppose it takes to plug those centrifuges back in? And on another note: this is essentially the reverse of the outcome of the last episode of season three of Homeland where Iran gave up their nukes.

I notice that most of my fellow Jews in the U.S. , with rare exceptions, remain in support of Obama. They have failed to demand real action on Iran’s nukes. Everything about Obama suggests that his deep animosity towards Israel includes enabling Iran to nuke Israel while he is already preparing his deniability. It is a pattern among enemies of the Jews that they will covertly support a Hitler or an Iran which is willing to do the actual killing. Roosevelt refused, for example, to bomb the rail lines to the death camps despite fighting an all out war against Germany. Obama also arms the ‘Palestinians’ while knowing they remain active enemies of Israel. Obama could also threaten Israel against disarming Iran or else face dire international punishment for wrecking his diplomacy for a ‘peaceful solution’. He wants to put Israel in a no-win position. The question is whether Israel will cooperate.

You would think post-Holocaust Jews would know better, but sadly they don’t. Israel’s only option is a preemptive strike.

And then Saudi Arabia will be nuclear and then the Middle East will go boom.

We do not have to do anything. Except explain to children where the Middle East went wrong and how the evil people preached hatred over there.

  • Sara

The main question was not addressed: why does Obama want Iran to have nukes as the US gains absolutely nothing from this deal?

    • Softly Bob

      Because he is a traitor.

      • Sara

I wish the author would spell that out, but it seems that no matter how much they criticize him there’s still a line that can’t be crossed. Not only has he sold out his own country (I would love to see his Swiss bank account), he’s also using Iran to target Israel.

“The Obama Doctrine can be described in just nine words: Embolden our enemies, undermine our friends, diminish our country.” Frank J. Gaffney Jr.

Comrade Obama IS the muslim Manchurian Candidate.

There’s a reason why,post-college,Comrade Hussein traveled to Pakistan,of all places. it’s not because he was a Christian. There’s a reason why Comrade Hussein was aided in getting into college by Saudi money and influence.

It’s all part of his efforts to weaken the US economically, politically, and militarily.
“once is accidental, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action.”

Because Ebama hates the U.S., and hates Israel even more. In his eyes, we and the Israelis deserve what he hopes we’re about to get.

      • Sara

Yes, he’s made it clear by giving Iran nukes, giving Hamas $414 mil, and gaining us ISIS and Ebola.

The nuclear deal with Iran is dead. The reason why doesn’t really lie with the P5+1, but instead lies with Supreme Leader Khamenei and his mouth. Yes, that little fleshy device of his just can’t help itself. It has a mind of its own. In a series of rants and talks he gave over the summer, he declared the West decadent and the US Iran’s supreme enemy. He not only doubled down on not giving up centrifuge capacity, but actually strongly endorsed greatly expanding it with next generation
models. He also forswore any relaxation in Iran’s development of long range
missile technology. Iran really doesn’t need any help from its opponents and critics to kill a nuclear deal. It’s perfectly capable of torpedoing itself and has done so…in spades. While John Kerry may be shuttling to keep flagging talks alive, Khamenei is already prepared for the end game of blame and has already pointed the finger at the West. We might as well move on and just keep hoping the mullahs get overthrown down the road because nothing else will change Iran.

Firstly, you obviously don’t know what the word ‘hypocrite’ means. It’s not hypocritical when the good guys have nukes but the bad guys don’t.
Secondly, why did you decide to name yourself after an infamous 7th Century pedophile?
Thirdly there’s the number 67 in your name. That was a good year. 1967 was the year when Israel completely humiliated three Muslim nations in just Six days!

  • USARetired

Of course Obama the devout Muslim will concede all to any Muslim Nation!

    Two “minor” points :

    1) Iran is a signatory to the NPT, they are allowed to have “nuclear infrastructure“. It is the “demand” to eliminate that infractucture that is illegal under international law.

    2) Iran is one of the few theological states in the world, which has issued a fatwa declaring nuclear weapons to be “contradictory to Islam”. Simply repeating “Ayatollah Khamenei wants to build nuclear bombs” a fixed number of times doesn’t suddenly make it “true”.

    • WhiteHunter

      1) There’s nothing “illegal” about preventing a snarling, rabid dog from biting you.

      2) Nuclear weapons are “Contradictory to Islam”? That’s about as blatantly dishonest as Ebama insisting that Islamic State “is not Islamic,” or that terrorists who cut off hostages’ heads “aren’t real moslems.” Or that the Sudetenland would be Hitler’s “last territorial demand.” Or that Ebama isn’t a baldfaced liar who hates America and will do anything in his power to destroy us, including flat-out lying about his intentions in order to get away with them while nobody’s looking.

  • DontMessWithAmerica

Israel could and should use everything they have to put Iran out of the nuclear business for now and forever. But then Israel could have finished off Hamas this year and quit when they got near the end. I am losing all respect for Israel. If Egypt were in Israel’s shoes, they would have dropped a few nukes on Iran by now and there would be no more discussion of an Iranian nuclear buildup. Israel and America could learn a lot from Egypt. The Egyptians wouldn’t answer the phone when Obama called. That’s the only way to deal with him.
