Left-wing chronies strike up a new strategy as Obama's smiling, pop-star image wears out fast.

The “Palin-Fox-Beck-Breitbart bomb throwers,” that’s how a New York Times columnist described the scary ranks of republican ‘radicalism’ in an attempt to build Republicanphobia before midterm elections.

[T]he conservative establishment in both Washington and the press has been relentless in its effort to separate the G.O.P. from the excesses of the Palin-Fox-Beck-Breitbart bomb throwers and from wacky Tea Party senatorial candidates …..

….what we can discern of the Republican “ideas” lying in wait almost makes Bush’s conservatism actually seem compassionate. N.Y. Times

While it was pointed out that Obama is unstrategically using the passé anti-Bush smear campaign against Republicans by asserting that nothing has changed in the Republican camp since Bush, one logical piece of advice emerged: that Obama will do well to pay attention to the staggering unemployement rate. Now throw in the suggestion of creating a ruthless Republicanphobia drive, Democrats may shore up their chances on November 2nd, at least in the eyes of Leftist strategists.

It’s no secret that Obama is sliding in the polls, so formulating a viable election platform necessitates doing more than appearing on The View and berating Bush. Even Rosie O’Donnell slammed his appearance, insisting the show is too “fluffy” for a world leader, while commending her former co-hosts for a “good booking”.

What is it that the burqa is really saying about women?

Dr. Jamie Glazov had justifiable reason to state that Bill O’Reilly had “publicly promoted submitting to Sharia Law” in his recent article, O’Reilly’s Burqa Betrayal. He was referring to a debate that O’Reilly had with Laura Ingraham over the French ban of the burqa. In it O’Reilly portrayed himself as being tolerant and asserted that most Muslim women want to veil themselves. In doing so he demonstrated a flippant and appalling disregard for his own culture, women’s rights globally, and the threat of increasing Islamic Fundamentalism.

O’Reilly’s comments were reminiscent of what Ahmed Rehab of CAIR told Megyn Kelly back in Dec, 2007 concerning the honor killing of 16-year-old Aqsa Pervez: Islam gives women the choice of wearing or not wearing the hijab.

Following the announcement of the French ban, it didn’t take long for Islamic Fundamentalism to rear its menacing head: Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb issued a statement vowing to “seek vengeance against France.”

Let’s get this straight. Vengeance against France? A democratic sovereign nation? All the more reason why this insanity must be challenged with a call for all Western nations to issue such a ban in protection of its cherished values, and in defense of women’s human rights everywhere. It is this fundamental zeal that led to the murder of 16-year old Aqsa Parvez for her refusal to wear the burqa.

France has more than ample reason to view the veil as a gateway to extremism, along with Belgium and Spain which are working on similar bans. How could Bill O’Reilly have missed the implications of the deep symbolism of the burqa, which is forced upon women globally to keep them in subjugation?

Why is a Jew-hating gay group being allowed to join the 2010 parade?

Gay Pride Toronto organizers have caved in to pressure from Queers Against Israeli Apartheid (QuAIA), allowing this inflammatory group to join the 2010 parade once again. Only a month ago, Pride Toronto’s Board of Directors had voted to ban the term “Apartheid” from all Pride-related events. But that decision was met by resistance from QuAIA which successfully framed opposition to its presence as a free speech and censorship issue. After QuAIA garnered enough support, Pride Toronto surrendered.

In a disturbing sub-standard report in support of QuAIA, propaganda and outright lies against Israel are brazenly displayed. The reporter falsely states that reception to QuAIA was mostly positive with the exception to a couple of people. Not true, it created a furor.

Click here to watch this appalling video.

Despite the deceptive portrayal of this event as being well received, it has stirred up considerable controversy. Traditionally, gay pride has been widely noted as a boisterous, yet peaceful parade. When QuAIA entered the scene, it immediately became a divisive, and fear-inducing event. From a National Post report:

Pride’s reputation will suffer, with material losses to the city.

It’s no good pretending the vicious anti-Zionism of the apartheid crowd is free of anti-Semitism. Many Jews do feel threatened by it, and rightly so. Some will no longer attend the parade out of discomfort. Typically of others I interviewed, lesbian Denise Alexander told me that the 2009 parade was “the first time I’ve ever felt unsafe as a Jew in Toronto.” It wasn’t only the words, “Down with Israel” or “The end of Israel”: “It’s the tone … and the veins sticking out in their necks, like in Nazi Germany.”

Quebec courageously introduces a bill that says no to the niqab. Will other Canadian provinces follow?

Visit Newsreal

Multiculturalism is threatening to ruin Canada by purporting that all cultures are equal. How this definition reconciles those cultures that practice and affirm Sharia Law with that of our democratic system of human rights is beyond reason.

The niqab is a sticky point in Canada. It is the ultimate symbol of female oppression. It also denies the rest of society the right to see what could be hidden under that garb, translating into potential safety and security issues. As for the importance of body language, it is the primary way we communicate and a critical factor in law enforcement and in our courts.

Last year in Ontario:

A judge has ordered a Toronto woman to testify without her niqab at a sexual assault trial – raising the thorny issue of whether Muslim women should be allowed to appear as witnesses wearing a veil that covers everything but the eyes.

A relative of the woman said it’s distressing the judge has exceeded his “jurisdiction and ventured into the interpretation of religious laws concerning the veil, not to mention the fact that … (she) has observed the veil for many years in accordance with her” beliefs.

Full Story here.

Though a sensitive issue and any fair thinking person can sympathize with the pain of this victim, her relative needs to wake up and realize that she is not in a country governed by Sharia. Witnesses are routinely scrutinized and body language is revealing.

So now, sparks are flying in Quebec over the niqab. Traditionally Liberal Quebec has ironically introduced Bill 94 which requires people to show their faces in order to receive government services, for reasons of identification, security and communication.

There is nothing unreasonable about this. In fact 95 percent of Quebecers support the bill according to an Angus Reid poll, while 80% of Canada as a whole supports it, yet there are those radically opposed to the bill, branding it as discriminatory and even racist. In fact, a day of Action was even planned by the Non/No Bill 94 Coalition Press, comprised largely of far left feminists.

Day of Action on May 18 that will demonstrate national opposition to Bill 94, the sweeping legislation proposed in Quebec that would deny government services to people who wear face coverings such as the niqab (or face veil) worn by some Muslim women, and to demand that this legislation be immediately withdrawn. The Non/No Bill 94 Coalition Press Release

For a list of supporters for the subjugation of women through the niqab click here.

These feminists have a twisted understanding of what human rights means. They are supporting the subjugation of women under the multicultural pretext, disregarding the relentless warnings from moderate Muslims who accurately understand what enslavement means. While these feminists continue to fiercely oppose Western women who embrace their femininity–and even scoff at the choice to stay home and raise children–they fight for the “rights” of Muslim women to be stripped of their personhood. Moderate Muslims rail against the niqab:

There is no requirement in Islam for Muslim women to cover their face. Rather, the practice reflects a mode of male control over women. Its association with Islam originates in Saudi Arabia, which seeks to export the practice of veiling — along with other elements of its extremist Wahhabist brand of Islam.

If readers have any doubt about this issue, they should take a look at the holiest place for Muslims — the grand mosque in Mecca. For over 1,400 years, Muslim men and women have prayed in what we believe is the House of God. And for all these centuries, female visitors have been explicitly prohibited from covering their faces. (Tarek Fatah, National Post)

How about if the husbands or boyfriends of these radical feminists shoved them under a black burka, even in scorching summer heat? Another missed factor by these misguided feminist cads: physical abuse can be easily hidden under masses of black cloth.

This insanity is driven and propelled by special interests bent on stirring up trouble. Salam Elmenyawi, head of the Muslim Council of Montreal called Bill 94 “very troubling and serious” since the government has allegedly tailored legislation that “points a finger” at the Muslim community.

He predicted that if the bill becomes law, it will be challenged as an infringement of the freedom of religion guaranteed under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. (National Post)

Canada continues to be torn apart under a multicultural banner, cheered on by Leftist ideologues and agenda driven fundamentalists. The forces of Islamism are insidious and determined. Bill 94 represents a critical positive step that hopefully other Canadian provinces will follow.

How much does the Left care about what would happen to Rima Fakih under Sharia Law?

The explosion in the blogosphere about the crowning of a Muslim Miss USA comes at a time when Americans have been tested to the limit, at least for the many patriots who recognize the threats to the American way of life since the declaration of the War on Terror.

Some pressing issues: Questions about Barack Obama’s Muslim sympathies are still unresolved, complicated by his pitiful bowing to American enemies and plans to build a mosque on ground zero, a site of grief and trauma for New Yorkers and fellow empathizers. So now with the crowning of a Muslim Miss America, it should come as no surprise that questions will be raised. Rima Fakih has become more than a beauty queen. She has become the battle ground between those critical of her crown (branded as racists) and politically correct appeasers.

From the moment he took office, Obama’s posture has served to divide America, racially and otherwise: he took to insulting long-standing American allies while apologizing for America’s sins among the country’s worst enemies. Obama snubbed British Prime Minister Gordon Brown on a visit to the White House right after he took office. More recently his deplorable treatment of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has left Israel aghast. Then there was his reading of the riot act to Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai, and his promise to unveil a detailed strategy on nuclear nonproliferation in the middle of a War on Terror. To top it off, the Obama administration’s support for illegal immigration at the expense of hard-working American citizens and the president bowing to foreign tyrants:

President Obama has disgraced the United States – again. During this week’s nuclear summit in Washington, he bowed when greeting Chinese President Hu Jintao.

The act was not only shocking but revealing. Mr. Obama has come under intense criticism for bowing to leaders in the past – the king of Saudi Arabia, the emperor of Japan. But never before has America’s commander in chief prostrated himself to a foreign tyrant on U.S. soil.

By bowing, Mr. Obama degraded and cheapened the office of the presidency; as commander in chief, he represents every American when meeting with other heads of state. He is supposed to embody the dignity of the Oval Office, reflecting our collective heritage as a self-governing, constitutional republic.

Sadly, the crowning of Rima Fakih as Miss America comes at a bad time and has raised questions among the political Right. Among them, conservative scholar Daniel Pipes who asserted in his blog that this and five other recent Muslim beauty pageant winners in the West indicate “an odd form of affirmative action.”

For even posing this question, Pipes was branded a racist:

That rate of wins is enough to send Daniel Pipes to the moon. This is a perfect example of how some people are brainwashed to think one person who’s white and female should be a beauty standard, and someone of color like Rima Fakih could only win a contest due to affirmative action. His view is so sick it makes me sick.

And let’s not forget, this not the first time that politics has run rough shod over the Miss USA pageant. Carrie Prejean—despite the scandal surrounding her that followed—faced a grilling by openly gay blogger Perez Hilton about her conservative views regarding gay marriage. Did the left come to her rescue? No, she was then taken to the woodshed.

Keith Lewis, who runs the Miss California competition, tells FOXNews.com that he was “saddened” by Prejean’s statement. Associated Press.

So could it be true that Rima Fakih’s win represented affirmative action in action? She is undeniably beautiful and the countdown of any beauty pageant is a close one, so who could prove either way? At least we can still entertain discourse in our superior way of life: democracy.

There is a win-win to this for all those who support freedom: Rima Fakih is an icon of a liberated Muslim. She would be brutally murdered under strict Shariah law—yes under those inferior cultures—for not wearing a head covering, let alone baring skin for a swimsuit competition. Leftists can meditate on that as they contemplate how to berate America — and make excuses for Islamic gender apartheid — the next time around.

A new promising frontier emerges in Canada in the terror war.

Visit Newsreal

Canada is adopting a new bill (Bill S-7) that will allow victims of terrorism to sue for terrorist acts in Canadian court, putting an onus of responsibility and accountability on terrorist states and/or organizations. Albeit a complicated task, it is a step in the right direction, targeting the pocketbooks of these reprobates.

For too long innocent taxpayers have been exploited by the Islamic fringe and although Bill S-7 won’t significantly benefit taxpayers directly, theoretically it balances the books a trifle in offsetting the reprehensible monetary endowments enjoyed by this fringe. Some examples: Hundreds of polygamous men who have brought their wives from abroad into Ontario are now being supported by state welfare; Mohamed Omary—on welfare for two decades—has alleged links to terrorism and toured Europe; and Mahr Arar, still listed as a U.S. terrorist, successfully sued Ottawa for 10.5 million dollars (on taxpayers’ backs) due to an RCMP investigative “injustice.”

To a lesser degree, yet still examples of the frittering away of taxpayer dollars, are the indiscriminate sums doled out to informants. For example, Shaher Elsohemy, the Muslim businessman who was paid $4 million by the RCMP to infiltrate a core group of “Toronto 18” suspects, plotting bomb attacks in southern Ontario:

The lucrative deal between the Mounties and their prized informant included cash, cars and homes for him, his wife, his daughter, his parents and his two brothers …

There is also Mubin Shaikh who successfully negotiated a tax free 2.7 million dollars after going back to the RCMP Oliver Twist style.

In the early stages of the investigation, he happily accepted $77,000 to infiltrate the group … Shaikh went back to the RCMP and asked them to boost his reward to an even $300,000. They agreed.

Two years later… Shaikh is proving to be as much of a Crown liability as an asset. As star witnesses go, he has become more star than witness. Since the arrests, he has outed himself on national TV, proclaimed the innocence of some of the accused, snorted cocaine on the taxpayers’ dime, and pleaded guilty to threatening two 12-year-old girls. During his recent testimony at the youth trial, the Crown accused its own hired mole of fudging facts to protect the defendant.
….
And now, after all that, Mubin Shaikh wants more cash — more than 30 times the dollar figure he originally agreed to.

There are those who argue that these millions are well spent, given the catastrophic outcome of what could have occurred without their help. Pelting huge sums of money at informants for their service is inarguably the simplest route. Yet the unfriendly portrayal of Shaikh in Macleans provides a menacing inside scoop and provokes a need for scrutiny of the methodologies used by the RCMP, calling into question its level of investigative expertise. Its sloppiness in the Arar case is no less sobering.

Now, a new frontier in Canada has emerged in this war on terror which could offer some promise, even though tricky to enforce: Bill S-7—the Justice for Victims of Terrorism Act. The bill allows lawsuits against any person, group or country that supports or abets attacks, to be filed through Canadian courts.

The bill is nothing new. One precendent lawsuit involves the Libyan government’s role in the disastrous 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. Libya subsequently agreed to compensate Lockerbie relatives to avoid a diplomatic row, and retire the issue through a peaceful settlement to normalize its relations with the United Nations (UN) and the U.S., a key point.

Meanwhile in a separate legal action through a Manhattan federal court, families of victims of the 9-11 terror attacks and a 1983 bombing of U.S. Marines in Lebanon have filed a lawsuit against Iran for $2.6 billion, citing its involvement as a state supporter of terrorism. But, given Iran’s history of calling 9-11 a “big lie” and its irrational anti-Semitic ramblings about obliterating Israel, it’s doubtable Iran will pay up.

Yet such legal suits are still promising beyond the compensatory factor. They serve as one critical part of a multifaceted strategy in the War on Terror: to isolate, marginalize, embarrass and hopefully shed light on the heinous crimes of terrorists and their impact on innocent victims. Sadly enough, there are still too many ignoramuses among us branding the West as evil and Israel as an Apartheid State while Islamist lunatics vehemently spread their Salafi ideologies within our very borders.

Forcing terrorist organizations and States into a position of public accountability before the international community is a welcome strategy that Canada has wisely endorsed through Bill S-7. Hopefully we will see more of this in the West.

View Newsreal

Seven years after its application, Al Jazeera English has been launched in Canada. The three largest cable providers (Bell TV, Rogers and Videotron) are carrying the digital channel. Al Jazeera (AJ), a.k.a. the “CNN of the Arab World” was given its approval papers by the Canadian broadcast regulator—the CRTC (Canadian Television and Telecommunications Commission).

Not surprisingly, the Managing Director of Al Jazeera English is Tony Burman, former Editor in Chief of the CBC—the leftist network propped up by its infinite bank payroll—taxpayer dollars. Yet the publicly funded CRTC has blocked several applications by Fox News, which by the way is in demand in Canada, but not Liberal and politically correct enough for a country long dominated by leftist media ideologues.

Oh, and there’s something else funded by Canadian taxpayers: Harems! Hundreds of GTA (Greater Toronto Area) Muslim men in polygamous marriages are receiving welfare and social benefits for each of their spouses.

Mumtaz Ali, president of the Canadian Society of Muslims, said wives in polygamous marriages are recognized as spouses under the Ontario Family Law Act, providing they were legally married under Muslim laws abroad. – Toronto Sun

So here we “stand on guard” in Canada incorporating foreign Muslim laws into our provincial social benefits system. This is possible because, while polygamy is officially outlawed in Canada, there is a loophole in the law which is, it goes without saying, being capitalized upon by fundamentalist Muslims.

Canada is a very liberal-minded country, Ali said…way ahead of Britain in this respect. – Toronto Sun

It’s a troubling statement given that Canada shares its borders with the United States – the leader on the terrorist war front. And let’s not even mention the fact that Britain has actually gone so far as to sanction Sharia law to rule to replace common law in civil cases between Muslims.

That’s bad, but it becomes even worse. A Montreal man, Mohamed Omary, has been collecting welfare cheques for nearly two decades, crisscrossing ‘ Europe to meet with six other men who have since been killed, convicted or linked to global terrorism.

Lawyers for RCMP and CSIS have filed documents, alleging Omary has been living off taxpayers ever since he arrived from Morocco, yet finding cash to fund his escapades throughout Europe.

Some advice: if Canadian taxpayers’ dollars aren’t lucrative enough, then go the Arar route, which means: sue, big time. Maher Arar originally had the audacity to demand $400-million, but settled for a meager 10.5 million. He’s still on a U.S. terrorist list, yet received an apology from Prime Minister Stephen Harper and 10.5 million dollars in a legal settlement from the government (read: taxpayers) because of a s0-called injustice. Arar– with dual Syrian and Canadian citizenship– was detained by American authorities in New York on terrorism suspicions, sent back to his country of origin (Syria), where he was imprisoned and tortured. A judicial inquiry subsequently found that the Canadian RCMP mislabeled him as an Islamic extremist with suspected ties to al Qaeda (al Qaida) (AQ) and shared that “misinformation” with U.S. authorities which led to his deportation to Syria.

Down the road, Omar Kadhr, the Canadian kid raising all kinds of controversy among naïve, bleeding hearts because he’s stuck in Guantanamo, said he saw Arar in safe houses and Al Qaeda training camps in Afghanistan. Well, 10.5 million dollars later, who cares? Arar is happy with his new found wealth and personal apology from the Prime Minister’s Office. It takes little imagination to predict what he’ll do with these millions.

Conclusion: with its lucrative potentials and its strategic location so close to the United States, dhimmi Canada has made itself the ideal place to live for extremist Muslims.

The America Obama wants to build is a counterfeit to what Dr. Martin Luther King envisioned.

Visit Newsreal

The word illegal means forbidden by law, so why the heat in Arizona over its crackdown on illegal immigration? The real problem is that Arizona’s enforcement measures came too late. Allow a stranger with no fixed address to get comfy in your house, he’s there to stay unless you take measures to remove him. You let a swarm in, you’re trounced, like what happened in Arizona, now stuck with nearly a half a million illegal immigrants. Many of them are responsible for violent crime, while the ‘race-card jockeys’ manipulate this sensitive political rally point, screaming racial profiling and discrimination. But who cares about the innocent victims? Not agenda-driven Democrats, willing to pave their path to power with the life blood of hardworking Americans.

President Barack Obama recently made an explicit appeal for race-based support saying he wanted to,

“reconnect with young people, African-Americans, Latinos and women who powered our victory in 2008 to stand together once again.”

Where’s inclusivity here? The pendulum has swung and the line in the sand drawn. America is becoming more racially divided and the Obama administration is deepening the wedge. Obama has called the new Arizona law “misguided”, while Democratic Congressman Raul Grijalva has shockingly appealed to the federal government to not co-operate when local police pick up illegal immigrants. Tempting for opponents of the new immigration bill to see this as a brand of justified civil disobedience. Hardly. So let’s turn a blind eye to illegal immigration. Fling the doors wide open to illegal immigrants–not only in Mexico–but everywhere. Why discriminate and racially profile people. Just allow racial preference instead.

America wake up. All eyes are watching. If Arizona gives in now, it will send a loud message that it’s party time for all potential illegal immigrants everywhere. Given economic constraints and the war on terror, this makes no sense. This must not be about appeasement in the short term, but what’s best for honest, hard-working citizens and their children in the long term.

From CBS:

Two decades ago, when Arizona voters rejected a Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, the NFL yanked the Super Bowl from suburban Phoenix. The boycott marked a major turning point in the journey to nationwide acceptance of the King holiday.

Today, Arizona, a state full of travelers from across the Americas, is being boycotted again over a new immigration law said to encourage racial profiling. Yet just as the King debate changed hearts from average people to a president, Arizona’s troubles are positioned to again play a critical role in the twisting evolution of American race relations. AP

The America we’re seeing today is a counterfeit to what Dr. Martin Luther King envisioned when he gave his awe-inspiring “I have a Dream” speech, envisioning racial harmony for America. This is not about racism, it’s about illegal immigration, period.
