The list is long - but is there a connection?

Reprinted from IsraelNationalNews.com.

There are Nazi grafts in Arab-Islamic terrorism.

At the top of the most wanted list of the Simon Wiesenthal Center there is a man who today would be one hundred years old. His name is Alois Brunner and he is responsible for the deaths of over 130,000 Jews. The Nazi hunters still place him in Syria, where he was last seen in 2001, protected by the regime of Bashar al-Assad.

Brunner was one of the most zealous ideologues and officials of the “Final Solution,” the plan for the extermination of the Jews. The idea haunted him to the point that in 1985 he said to the German magazine Bunte: “I regret that I didn’t finish the job.”

When the United Arab Republic of Syria was formed, Dr. Brunner took up residence at 7 George Haddad, in the embassy district of Damascus. In 1961, the year that Adolf Eichmann was captured by the Israelis in Buenos Aires, Brunner received a bomb-letter, probably from the Mossad and lost an eye.

Brunner, a personal friend of Hafez el Assad, took part in the construction of Syria’s secret services on the model of the Gestapo.

In November 1967, the neo-Nazi organization Bund Heimattreuer Jugend published in Esslingen Hegensberg, West Germany, the obituary of Karl van Kynast: “Lieutenant (res.) of the Bundeswehr, Captain in the army of the United Arab Republic, he felt at the Suez Canal on 12 September, 1967”.

Brunner is, in fact, only the best known of a number of Nazi officials who participated in the construction of of the Islamic regimes and who died in those lands after converting to Islam.

This alliance between the Nazi swastika and the Islamic Koran is well explained in a 1942 article written by Johann von Leers, the best known of Nazi converts to Islam. Published in the newspaper “Die Judenfrage”, the article presented Judaism and Islam in terms of Hegel’s thesis and antithesis: “The hostility of Muhammad towards the Jews had a consequence: the Oriental Jews were totally paralyzed. If the rest of the world had adopted a similar policy, we would not have the ‘Jewish question’. Islam has made an eternal service to the world by preventing the conquest of Arabia by the Jews.”

One of the leaders of the “Jewish Affairs” in Galicia, Altern Erich, converted to Islam and took the name of “Ali Bella” in Egypt, where he trained Palestinian terrorists.

Leopold Gleim was known through his original name as a head of the Gestapo in Poland, but became “Ali al- Nahar” at the service of the Egyptian dictator Nasser.

Oskar Dirlewanger, after killing tens of thousands of Jews in the Ukraine, became the bodyguard of the Egyptian dictator. Dr. Heinrich Willerman, famous for some of the most atrocious experiments at Dachau, and directed the terrorist “Camp Samarra” in Egypt.

After having “liquidated” the Warsaw ghetto, Kurt Baurnann joined the Ministry of War in Cairo and trained the Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

The head of the Gestapo in Düsseldorf, Joachim Daemling, went to work at the Egyptian prison system.

Even François Genoud, the famous banker of Nazism, testamentary heir of Adolf Hitler and Joseph Goebbels, used the war treasure of the Reich to finance the Arab- Muslim anti-Jewish causes, and in 1959, gave birth to “International Association of Friends of the Arab World”.

Walter Rauff, who invented the “gas vans” which killed at 97,000 Jews during the Holocaust, in 1948 tortured Jews in Damascus.

Boeckler Wilhelm became “Abd al Karim”, the SS Wilhelm Berner instructed Palestinian terrorists, the SS Gruppenführer Alois Moser became “Hassan Sulayman”.

In Cairo lived Hans Eisele, “Dr. Eisele”, who in Dachau became notorious for torturing prisoners with injections of cyanide. Even Otto Skorzeny, the SS commander who freed Mussolini from his prison on the Gran Sasso, lived in Cairo, where he perfected the Intelligence Services of Nasser’s regime.

Among the collaborators of Skorzeny there was also an official of the Goebbels Ministry of Propaganda, Franz Buensch, an “expert on the Jewish problem” who had worked with Adolf Eichmann on the “Final Solution” and had also written a book entitled “Sexual Habits of the Jews”, perhaps the most repugnant document produced by the Nazis.

In the Egyptian capital there was another infamous doctor, Aribert Heim, “Dr. Tod”, Dr. Death, so named because of the cruelty of his experiments in the camps of Buchenwald, Sachsenhausen and Mauthausen. Heim converted to Islam under the name of “Tarek Hussein Farid”. He sported an Islamic beard, he went to the al Azhar mosque every morning and read the Koran in the German translation.

The collaborator of Goebbels, Johann von Leers, was solemnly received in Cairo by the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al Husseini: “We thank you for having fought against the powers of darkness incarnated by world Jewry”. After converting to Islam, Von Leers assumed the name of “Omar Amin von Leers” and in Cairo occupied many posts in the administration of Nasser.

When Tom Cruise in 2008 produced the movie “Valkyrie”, Major Otto Ernst Remer, who in the film has the face of Thomas Kretschmann, was portrayed as a key figure in the bloody suppression of the conspiracy that tried to assassinate Adolf Hitler. In 1993, an Egyptian newspaper interviewed Remer, who hailed the Khomeini revolution, said that the gas chambers were “lies” and who compared the defeat of Nazi Germany to that of the Palestinian Arabs, “both victims of the Jews, both suffered under occupation”.

And how to forget that neo-Nazis helped Yasser Arafat in 1972′s Munich massacre?

This is not an exotic, distant story, it sheds a dramatic light on the existential war between political Islam and the Jews.

While reading these and other stories of Nazi officials who fought for Islam, I am reminded of the project of the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haji Amin al Hussein, who planned to install a gas chamber and a crematorium near Nablus/Shechem. That is the real “occupation,” that of a genocidal and totalitarian ideology at war with the Jews in their own land.

A Birkenau in the desert. A Mauthausen which would have liked to set foot on Mount Zion.

A war Israel can win -- with help from the West.

Back in the 1970s, law expert Yoram Dinstein argued that according to UN definitions, terrorism and incitement against Israelis constituted genocide. That’s why Israel, with the help of a few Western democracies, should set up a Nuremberg-type initiative for Palestinian terror leaders, who must be charged for inciting and committing genocide. In the name of the peremptory principle nullum crimen sine poena, “No crime without a punishment,” we should prosecute Palestinian terrorists, whether as individuals or entities. They are hostes humani generis, “common enemies of humankind.”

The initiative would be a powerful rebuke of the failed International Criminal Court in the Hague, which should have prosecuted these evil leaders and promoters of genocide. The Islamic regimes of the world succeeded in changing the Court’s statute to eliminate terrorism as an offense and, at the same time, to define the Jewish inhabitants of Judea and Samaria as “war criminals.”

If Israel has no right to defend itself from genocidal attacks and the Jews have no right to live in their historic land, then Israel has no right to exist.

The Palestinian Authority tried to submit criminal cases against individual Israeli soldiers and leaders, but the prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo said Palestine was not yet a state, and only states could file cases. With the UN General Assembly having upgraded the Palestinians’ status to that of a non-member state, the PA will try to re-file.

The Arab clerics, who describe the Jews as sub-humans with expressions like “pig,” “cancer,” “filth,” “microbes” and “vermin,” should be put on trial for fomenting lethal anti-Jewishness reminiscent of the 1930s. An example of this religious incitement is the fatwa issued by the Muslim Brotherhood’s guru, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, permitting the killing of Jewish fetuses, on the logic that when Jews grow up they might join the Israeli army. Unfortunately, Europe is freeing these clerics, like Abu Qatada, who was recently released by the UK.

The suicide vest costs only $150 for Palestinian terror groups. But it needs “software” to operate. This is the role of the clerics who put in motion the robots of death. It’s like the piper and the rats in the famous Hamelin fairy tale.

The same with the Arab media, which distribute hate material such as the Protocols of the Elders of Zion or maps without Israel. Western jurisprudence would find these media outlets guilty, like the Nazi war criminal Julius Streicher, who published the anti-Semitic Der Stuermer and was found guilty by the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg. Another example is the trial in which the Rwandan journalists were charged by the International Criminal Tribunal for inciting fellow Hutus to commit genocide against the Tutsis. At the very least, Europe must block the access to these malignant websites and include the journalists on a black list.

The legal basis for the campaign against this hatred is the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, ratified on January 12, 1951.

International tribunals have ruled that hate speech targeting a population based on discriminatory grounds constitutes crimes against humanity per Article 7 of the Rome Statute.

In 2004, three Arab intellectuals, Jawad Hashim, Shakir al-Nabulsi and Lakhdar Lafif, sent a request to the UN Security Council, urging the establishment of an international tribunal for the prosecution of Islamist incitement against Jews, Muslim “apostates” and Christians. Thanks to satellite channels, Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV can beam its incitement and hatred into European living rooms, radicalizing Muslim immigrants. Israel must ask Europe to turn off this terror offspring, which every evening repeats the same monstrous message: “The Jewish infidels are less than human, killing them is a meritorious act.” Words lead to mass murder.

Israel and its Western allies must launch a campaign to charge NGO leaders who commit incitement, enlisting the help of attorneys, journalists and writers to testify on the endless litanies of paranoia and genocidal perversion. Such people risk their careers and lives daily by denouncing the blood libels, and Israel should support them.

Hamas and other incitement leaders should be placed on a “watch list” by Western countries preventing their entrance as “inadmissible persons” (Qaradawi is already banned in the UK and US).

Brave groups, such as UN Watch, can support the battle in global forums. In 2009, a similar campaign prevented Farouk Hosni, the Egyptian minister who said that he “would burn Israeli books himself if found in Egyptian libraries,” from becoming UNESCO’s head.

Moreover, human rights groups should be flooded with the untold Israeli statistics: the 17,000 people wounded in terror attacks; the 2,000 civilians killed; the 15,000 rockets fired on southern Israeli cities; the fact that some 40% of wounded Israelis will remain with permanent disabilities.

There are wounded Israeli heroes who just want to tell their story. I can provide a list of these maimed fighters who should be invited to speak in the courts because they are the survivors of current-day genocide. In European faculties, there are still brave academicians who can denounce Hamas-supporting speakers among them. We must ask Europe to expel them.

This is an historic battle that Israel can win with the support of Westerners who still care about the fate of their civilization. To the Spanish fascists who were saying, “Viva la muerte!” the Republicans replied: “No pasarán.” We must offer the same response to contemporary death cultists.

No pasarán. They shall not pass.

Buying Eurabia -- one piece at a time.

Originally published at Arutz Sheva.

Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal maintains a residence in Qatar, while the Taliban opened their first representation in a foreign country in its capital, Doha.

A hateful wind emanating from the small Islamic emirate is now blowing toward Europe, a wind accompanied by an ocean of poisonous, oily, bloody money – all coming from the peninsula in the Persian Gulf which today is the world’s richest country.

Slowly, Qatar is buying Europe’s assets.

Qatar, not exactly or even the slightest bit French-speaking, has just joined the “International Organisation of la Francphonie” as an associate member. Qatar’s goal is clear: to change and manipulate French culture. For example, the Voltaire School in Doha banned a religious book that discussed Christianity in the Middle Ages.

Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, who has cultivated the image of a pro-Western reformist, vowed to “spare no effort” to spread the teachings of Wahhabi Islam across “the whole world”. Last December Qatari Emir inaugurated the “Imam Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab” Mosque in Doha, dedicated to the founder of the most virulent, anti-Jewish and totalitarian Islamic school of religion.

Qatar’s octopus is working on three fronts: overthrowing despotic Arab regimes and replace these with sharia-based countries; destroying Israel by financing the terror groups (the emir just visited Gaza) - and Islamizing the European continent through mosques and investments.

In Germany, Qatar’s sovereign fund, the Qatar Investment Authority, owns 17 percent of Volkswagen, 10 percent of Porsche and 9 percent of construction giant Hochtief.

In Italy, to mention just one well known firm, Qatar just bought Valentino’s fashion style company, while AC-Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi is also ready to sell the powerhouse to the ruling Emir of the State of Qatar.

In the UK, the Qatar Muslims own swathes of the Canary Wharf financial district in London. Qatar also owns 20 per cent of the London Stock Exchange.

Qatar invested in the Paris St. Germain soccer club and it is an investor in the French Total Oil group, as well as British Shell.

Qatar financed the 95% of the Shard tower in London, the highest skyscraper in Europe.

In Cannes, the emir bought an hotel famous for hosting celebrities during the film festival, but it’s also looking to buy a Jewish symbol like the Les Trois Rois hotel in Basel, Switzerland, scene of the iconic portrait of Theodor Herzl.

Qatar has also purchased, for 300 million euros, the building which hosts part of the US Embassy in Paris.

Qatar announced last February, when Nicolas Sarkozy was still the President of France, that it was willing to spend $65 million in the French banlieues, the suburbs home to the vast majority of the six million Muslims in France. Then Qatar doubled the sum to €100 million, which the extreme leftist French newspaper Libération describes as a “Qatari take over of the banlieues.”

Another newspaper, Le Figaro, seeing the handwriting on the wall (writing a check?, published an article recently, titled: “Will France become an Islamic Republique?”.

Gas-rich Qatar may invest up to 10 billion euros in big French firms, the ambassador of the Gulf state in France, Mohamed Jaham Al-Kuwari, announced this week.

In Switzerland, where Qatar is economically very important, famous firms such as Swatch, Tissot and Victorinox, have removed the cross of the Swiss flag from many advertisements, especially in Arab and Asian countries. In many cases the cross on the red background, a sign of identity of the Swiss cantons, has been replaced by the words “Swiss Made”. The Victorinox, the famous manufacturer of knives, replaced the cross with the letter “V”. The Swatch justified the removal by saying that “Muslim countries are not allowed to show the cross in public.”

Qatar in Spain funnels its donations through the Islamic League for Dialogue and Coexistence , a group linked to the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria and which controls the Catalan Islamic Cultural Center. Qatar just paid $450,000 to renovate that center based in Barcelona.

In Italy, the Qatari emir is financing the construction of many mega mosques, while in Ireland Qatar recently donated €800,000 to build a mega-mosque in Cork.

Donations helped also to secure Qatar a seat in the Unesco’s World Heritage Committee, used by the Palestinians to advance their Jüdenrein agenda in Judea and Samaria.

Qatar also has an ambitious project to build a mega mosque and Islamic institute in Munich, Germany, which they say would “build a bridge between Islam and Europe”. Munich – where Pope Joseph Ratzinger was archbishop from 1977 to 1981 – is the city in which the Muslim Brotherhood has gained control of most of the mosques and of active Islam in Germany and in Europe.

The European Council for Fatwa and Research is headed by imam Yusuf al Qaradawi, based in Doha, Qatar.

Qatar is a bastion of anti-Semitism, which goes around the world along with the investments. A Qatari television show, based on a book by late Palestinian author Ghassan Kanafani, shows a Holocaust survivor who resorts to prostitution and claims the Nazis did no wrong. “I didn’t see any gas chambers”, she is seen saying. An actor depicting former Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin calls on Jews to murder Arab civilians.

Qatar is also hosting many conferences which demonize the Jews.

Speaking at the International Conference for Defense of Jerusalem in Doha, Palestine Authority head Mahmoud Abbas recently said that “the Israeli occupation authorities are using the ugliest and most dangerous means to implement plans to erase and remove the Arab-Islamic and the Christian character of east Jerusalem”. The conference’s purpose, under the auspices of the Palestinian Islamic-Christian Committee, is to combat the “Judaization of Jerusalem”.

In Doha’s Friday sermons, Jews are called “parasites”. Back to the Nazis.

With an imperial flux of money and ideology, the former British protectorate of Qatar is discouraging Muslim integration in Europe in order to better dominate it, fomenting anti-Semitism and cultural separation, actively encouraging jihad against the State of Israel.

Qatar’s course of action is very practical: convincing Europe that the real name of Jerusalem is Al Quds, that the Koran replaced the Bible and that the Jewish Temple Mount is just a conspiracy.

Aiming for the destruction of Israel allows Europe, the new mercenary of Qatar, to free itself from its own identity and the memories of their complicity in the Holocaust that come with it.

Several hundred kippah-wearing Jews and non-Jews just marched in Sweden as a sign of solidarity with Malmo’s Jews. Malmö, Sweden’s third largest city, the capital of the prosperous province of Scania, has 270.000 inhabitants. But the city has a population that is almost 40 percent foreign and the Jews are leaving the city due to attacks and harassment. In 1990, 2.000 Jewish people lived in Malmö; now there are fewer than 700.

Earlier this year, a rabbi from Malmo was assaulted. In 2010, Malmo’s mayor, Ilmar Reepalu, said that a group of Jews who were attacked by local Muslims during a peaceful protest in support of Israel brought the attack upon themselves for not distancing themselves from Israel and Zionism.

Have a look at Scandinavia, the locals say: we have eradicated wars, nationalism and religion; we do not wage war, we negotiate; we are the moral continent and we all want to make the world a better place. But anti-Zionism is spreading like a virus all over North Europe. Sweden has become “a center of anti-Semitism,” the president of the European Jewish Congress, Moshe Kantor, told last winter.

Sweden is the ultra-secularized, ultra-liberal and anti-nationalistic beacon (the Danes are detested there as “chauvinists”), proud of its “lack of prejudice.” Sweden handled its Soviet neighbour with kid gloves and this is the country that the Guardian described as “the greatest success the world has known.” But anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism are the dark side of the “folkhemmet,” which in Swedish means “the house of all the people.” It’s the multicultural ideology on which Stockholm has built its model of integration.

Sweden is a country that liked to call herself a “moral superpower” and where the welfare state pays for equipment for women who decide to change gender. But Jews have no future there. Sweden not only ranked among the world’s handful of richest countries, but also provided the world’s most lavish welfare state. It married solidarity to prosperity. But in the suburbs of the largest cities there are now “intifada against the police.” The Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet has even suggested that Israeli soldiers are transplanting organs from dead Palestinians. And the Swedish Parliament debated how to regulate the Jewish circumcision, the first restriction placed on the rite in Europe since the Nazi era. It’s the same liberal Swedish Parliament that didn’t have any moral problem in promoting eugenics, sterilization of the disabled.

Norway is not better. During the Second World War, the German universities banned famous Jewish intellectuals such as T.W. Adorno and Albert Einstein. Last year, three universities in Norway turned down the Jewish lawyer and author Alan Dershowitz, who had offered free lectures on Israel and international law.

Jews in Norway are just 0.003 percent of the total population, but Oslo is a bulwark of anti-Semitism and Israel-slandering. Norway is the paradise of political correctness, multiculturalism and anti-war feelings. It’s the country that, according to the Global Peace Index, tops the list of the most “peaceful” places in the world. Oslo is a founding member of the United Nations and the first UN Secretary General, Trygve Lie, was a Norwegian. The hallucinatory Oslo Accords, in which the Palestinian terrorists got guns and land, germinated in faraway fairybook Oslo. The United Nations placed Norway at the top of women’s rights and the Norwegians like to exercise their influence through international activism predicated on a collective vision of the global good society.

But last year, Norway’s sovereign wealth fund (that administers the oil profits) divested from the Israeli company Elbit, because it has worked on the Israeli fence that blocked the suicide bombers. The author of the global literary phenomenon “Sophie’s World,” the national hero Jostein Gaarder, wished for the disappearance of Israel.

A tiny democracy faces down immense obstacles.

The Israel-Iran countdown has begun and with respect to Tehran’s nuclear race we are witnessing the greatest crisis in the US-Israel relations. Will America help the tiny Jewish State? Can Israel trust the word of a US administration that has treated Jerusalem like a banana republic?

A few days ago, Israeli officials told the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper that “the US’ stance is pushing the Iranians to become a country at the brink of nuclear capability.” Very few people in Israel believe that the US will ever launch another preemptive war against the ayatollahs. The US, especially if Barack Obama gets the re-election, will be tempted to reach a compromise with the Iranians.

Israel is dependent on the US for economic, military and diplomatic support. American taxpayers fund 20-25% of Israel’s defense budget, with the Jewish State being the largest recipient by far of American aid since World War II. Israel is required to use a portion of US aid to buy from the US defense establishment, but no other country — certainly not any European one — provides the weapons needed to protect Israeli lives. Moreover, the United States has cast 40 vetoes to protect Israel in the UN Security Council.

There is a quid pro quo for such support, but also a limit to what even that degree of dependence can buy. The current Iranian nuclear race made it very clear. And it made clear that the US can forsake, again, the Israelis.

Washington doesn’t support Israel because of the Jewish State’s democracy, the Holocaust or its respect for human rights. Israel’s strategic value has always been the primary motivation for US support. But it can change tomorrow, especially if Israel’s survival becomes a burden for Washington (France has been Israel’s most important ally after the war, but Paris suddenly abandoned the Jews for the Arab world). Israel must remember that she is America’s ally and client, not “friend.”

The first US presidents after Israel was established — Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson — gave nothing to the Jewish State. And we were in a time when the ashes of Auschwitz were still warm, while today the memory of the Holocaust is fading. Truman maintained a US embargo against arms sales to the Israeli and Arabs, which was effective only against Israel. In 1948, it was US pressure which forced Israel to withdraw from the Sinai where Israeli forces were pursuing the defeated Egyptians.

In 1960 the Nazi officer Adolf Eichmann was apprehended by Israeli agents in Argentina and flown to Jerusalem for trial. Argentina turned to the UN Security Council, asking it to condemn Israel and order Eichmann’s return. Washington intended to support the Argentinean complaint and only the furious reaction of Israel’s foreign minister, Golda Meir, dissuaded Washington to do that.

Prior to the Six Day War, Abba Eban approached Lyndon Johnson and all he got was an arms embargo on the Middle East. In 1970, at the height of the “War of Attrition,” the US turned down an urgent Israeli request for security assistance.

In 1992 the Bush-Baker Administration humiliated the Israelis by an ultimatum: “Settlements or loan guarantees” (the latter Israeli general and minister Rehavam Ze’evi dismissed Bush senior as being “anti-Semitic”). The US post-Gulf War’s settlement included American efforts to dislodge Israel from the territories by endangering Israel’s security and claim to the land. The former editor of The New York Times, A.M. Rosenthal, wrote that “the Bush administration has a spiritual affinity for Arab rulers and oilmen, but bares its teeth when Jerusalem shows independence.”

Why we should take seriously the fanatical rants of the Islamic Republic.

The late Ayatollah Khomeini reshaped Iran in a manner that was much more in tune with the Islamic character than the late Shah’s modernizing spirit, who was despised exactly because he tried to modernize Iranian society. Iran’s Revolution is both motivated by the establishment of a universal Islamic regime and by a genocidal and annihilationist anti-Semitism.

Iran today is a country where the perpetrators of the “lavat” (the “crime” of homosexuality) are going to the gallows, adulterers are stoned to death, “blasphemers” are hanged from trees and women who fight against the obligation of veiling are defaced with razors. But above all, the Islamic ayatollahs are planning a new Holocaust of the Jewish people and they will soon have enough enriched uranium to implement their “Final Solution of the Israeli question.”

The West is dismissing the Iranian obsession with plots, which resembles that of Joseph Stalin, who accused Jewish doctors of plotting to poison him. The doctors’ show trial was meant to cleanse the Soviet Union of “foreign,” “cosmopolitan” and “Zionist” (read: Jewish) threats. Adolf Hitler, too, believed that there was a Jewish plot to destroy Europe.

Khomeini declared a war against the Jews. The founder of Iran’s Islamic Republic recalled that the Persian King Cyrus had liberated the Jews from their Babylonian captivity in the sixth century B.C. as someone “preventing the natural disappearance of [those] who would never be satisfied with anything less than world domination.” According to Khomeini, the Jews plot to destroy Islam. “From the very beginning, the historical movement of Islam has had to contend with the Jews, for it was they who first established anti-Islamic propaganda. . . . They are wretched people who wish to establish Jewish domination throughout the world.”

According to this Iranian mad cult, the establishment of the State of Israel in an area historically Muslim represents a challenge to Islamic eschatology. No previously Muslim country should ever be able to become non-Muslim. Khomeini wrote that the Jews were “perverting Islam” and thus deserving of “divine retribution.” He regarded the Jews as an “embodiment of filth” and the contaminating source of ritual “impurity” — which gives another religious justification to Muslims to rid themselves of the Jews and their state.

Since October 25, 2005, when Tehran hosted an anti-Zionism conference, Iran’s president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, called for Israel to “be wiped off the face of the map,” the first in a long series of incendiary speeches advocating the liquidation of the Jewish State. Ahmadinejad then publicly warned Israeli Jews that their country “will one day vanish,” “will be gone, definitely” and that “they are nearing the last days of their lives.”

Foremost European conservative philosopher explains why he has hope Europeans will come to their senses.

“It’s inevitable that the European project should reach a crisis – as it was inevitable that Lenin’s project in 1917 should do the same.”

Roger Scruton has no doubt: the European Union will collapse as it happened with the Soviet Union. Hailed as “Britain’s foremost conservative philosopher” by the The Wall Street Journal, Professor at Oxford and St. Andrews, Scruton is author of twenty books, including, “The Meaning of Conservatism” and the latest “The Face of God.” He is one of the very few intellectuals who predicted the implosion of the European project.

“The European crisis has come about, in my view, for two reasons,” Scruton tells me. “First, there was the original project, to create a united states of Europe. This project was conceived without any Plan B. It seemed imperative to achieve it, and no provisions were made for failure, or for a change of direction. The machine lumbers forward without feedback, and can make no adjustments to a changing reality. Second, the project was entrusted to a bureaucracy, with extraordinary legislative and administrative powers. Those responsible for pushing things forward are neither elected by the people nor answerable to the people in any election. They proceed at uniform speed in a straight line until reaching the inevitable immovable obstacle. When that happens, it will all be over. But the damage will be enormous.”

Given those two features of the European project it is inevitable that it should reach a big crisis. “The failure also has two important causes. First, as everybody knows, there is a growing deficit of legitimacy in the European institutions. Once or twice the institutions have appealed through their political spokesmen to the people. But whenever given the chance to vote the people of Europe say ‘no’ to the project. The project continues as before, unaffected by this ‘no’. But the people draw their conclusions, and gradually withdraw their trust.”

The other cause has been the complete failure of the European political elite to consider the culture of Europe. “The culture of Europe is founded in the Judeo-Christian revelation, and our laws, institutions and educational traditions are unintelligible without reference to the lessons taught in the Bible. But the culture of Europe is also a secular culture, as I explain in my book ‘The West and the Rest’, based in territorial loyalty of a national kind. Both the religious and the national sources of our culture are repudiated by the European elites, who believe that culture is of no significance, and will change in obedience to the political and economic imperatives. Hence those who invented the Euro and imposed it unthinkingly on the people of Europe failed to see that the attitude of people to debt is profoundly affected by culture, and that the culture of Greece (for example) is totally different, in this respect, from the culture of Germany, and that of Italy of course different to both of them.”

How negotiations with the Islamic Republic have made the situation more dire.

If the Obama administration still vehemently opposes an Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities for fear of hampering his chances for reelection, the latest Debka report reveals that Tehran is closer than ever to an atomic bomb. “The months of negotiations with the six world powers were happily used by Iran for great strides toward bringing its nuclear weapon program to fruition,” explains Debka, a publication close to Israeli intelligence agencies.

We knew that Tehran produced low-enriched uranium for four nuclear warheads in the fortified bunker in Fordo. We knew that the centrifuges are enriching uranium to a fissile concentration of 20 percent. But according to Debka, uranium enrichment levels have crept past 20 percent in expanded quantities.

“The six powers are understandably reluctant to admit that in the time bought by negotiations, Iran was able to refine uranium up to 30-percent grade or even a higher and go into advanced preparations for 65 percent grade enrichment. Now the Iranians are well on the way to an 80-90 percent weapons grade.” This is the weaponization of the nuclear cycle.

That’s why Israel could launch a preemptive operation against Iran before the US presidential election in November. Or as the former Israeli Mossad director, Ephraim Halevi, just commented to the New York Times, “if I were an Iranian I would be very worried in the next 12 months.”

“The period before the US elections is the best for an Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities,” Israel’s leading analyst Efraim Inbar, head of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies and one of the informal advisors of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, told me this week. “The diplomatic talks failed, the sanctions are not working, only a military operation can stop Iran’s atomic program. We already stopped Iraq and Syria’s nuclear programs. We will take in consideration only our security and Jewish survival, because a nuclearized Iran would be an immense threat for the Jewish State.”

Few Israelis know about the strangers who ensure their survival.

Thousands of evangelical Christians descended on Washington for the annual Christians United for Israel conference. They showed enthusiastic support for the Jewish State, grounded in a deep attachment to the Bible. The horrific attacks of September 11 have reinforced their fatalistic sense of identification with the Israeli citizens. They are natural friends in a dangerous world.

In previous years, US Evangelicals invested million of dollars in school equipment, playgrounds, medical supplies and bulletproof buses to protect the Jews in Judea and Samaria, Israel’s first line of defense. Other groups, such as Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein’s International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, played a crucial role in protecting Sderot’s residents from Hamas’ rockets.

The group “Christian Friends of Israeli communities,” based in Samaria, is now appealing to Evangelicals to fund different security projects: binoculars and ambulances in Neve Tzuf ($ 7.500), night security guards in Bat Ayin ($12.500) and cameras and fences in Maaleh Shomron ($ 22.500).

Very few people know the Christian role in defending Israel against chemical threats (Syria just threatened to use lethal gas and germs against “external forces.”)

The Beit El’s (Hebrew for “House of God”) air filtration systems, installed in the Israeli hospitals, schools and homes, will protect Jews against chemical or biological attacks. Today, the Beit El Christian factory, based in Zichron Yaakov, is the country’s only producer of complete NBC (nuclear, biological and chemical) filtration systems for communal shelters.

These Christians work far from the glare of publicity, but are motivated by the haunting legacy of the Second World War. As self-styled “Christian Zionist,” the tiny community seeks to keep Israelis safe from harm to aid what they believe is the biblical prophecy of the ingathering of Jews in the Holy Land.

The first community members, under the leadership of Emma Berger, arrived in Israel in the 1960s, and some who have come are children of members of the German resistance against the Nazis. Berger wasn’t welcomed favorably by the local Israelis. It could not be otherwise, among those who survived the Holocaust, and among those fierce peasants who could not bear to see their land sold to the Germans. The Christians were also accused by ultra-Orthodox Jews, who even stoned them, of being missionaries.

Using European taxes to put cash into the pockets of jihadis.

While the U.S. is home to many Christian supporters of Israel, the Christian groups more closely linked to global public opinion, bureaucracy, media and legal forums are all violently anti-Israel and anti-Jewish. This month, for example, the Church of England voted to support the boycott movement against Israel.

A special report by the Israeli watchdog NGO Monitor, revealed the huge flux of money that is being provided by European governments for the Church-based efforts to destroy Israel. This development is paving the way for a new Jewish bloodbath through the vehicle of excluding Israel’s Jews from the family of nations.

The Dutch government, for example, grants millions of euros to organizations such as Kerk in Aktie and the Interchurch Organization for Development Cooperation, which support a “general boycott” of Israeli products as per the policy of the Protestant Church of the Netherlands. The Interchurch Organization also received money from the European Union (€5.3 million).

Diakonia, Sweden’s largest humanitarian NGO founded by five Swedish churches (the Alliance Mission, the Baptist Union, InterAct, the Methodist Church and Mission Covenant Church), financed programs “to commemorate the Nakba,” the Palestinian term for “catastrophe” which indicates Israel’s foundation in 1948.

The UK’s Christian Aid and Finland’s FinnChurchAid received millions from the EU to propagate the worst anti-Israel blood libels, including starving, torture, dispossession and siege. The World Council of Churches, which plays a pivotal role in mobilizing churches in the boycott against Israel, gets annually millions from European taxpayers.

European taxes are used in several ways to fund anti-Semitism of an intensity unseen since Nazi Germany.

Brussels is putting cash into the pockets also of Islamic terrorists.

The Palestinian Authority has reported that the EU (41.4 million euros), France (19 million euros) Ireland (5 million euros), Norway (53 million dollars) and the World Bank (40 million dollars) have all given funds to the Palestinian budget, used to pay the families of the “martyrs” (read: suicide bombers) and the 5.500 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails.

Europe is financing Israel’s destruction also by channeling millions of euros to secular and leftist NGOs. These are just some: Addameer (207.000 $ from Sweden), Al Haq (426.000 $ from Holland, 88.000 $ from bailout-needing Ireland and 156.000 $ from Norway), Al Mezan (105.000 $ from Sweden), Applied Research Institute (374.000 $ from the European Union and 98.000$ from bankrupt Spain), Coalition of Women for Peace (247.000 $ from the European Union) and Troicare (2.000.000 $ from Brussels and 640.000 $ from UK).

There is a fourth way Europe funds Palestinian terrorism and anti-Semitism: books, school textbooks, documentaries, tv channels. This is a kind of “software” of the holy war against the Jews.

The Western media's silence speaks volumes.

Sderot, Ashkelon, Ashdod, Beersheba….All major southern Israel cities are again under a heavy rocket offensive from Hamas-controlled Gaza. There are Jewish dead, babies wounded, schools and synagogues destroyed, cities and towns terrorized. The latest wave of rockets took place only last week. But Israel as the most heavily bombed nation in the world never makes the headlines. Why?

Sderot represents the siege on the Jewish people and the resistance of Israel, but it also reveals the rest of the world’s indifference to the genocidal hatred that is jihadism.

12,000 Palestinian rockets have fallen on Sderot and Ashkelon in the last ten years. The sense of death has pervaded the streets, the schools, the houses and the local clinic, where a wonderful and brave Romanian-born psychiatrist, Adriana Katz, takes care of these victims.

“There are people who take the taxi to reach our clinic, in case the alarm will sound,” Dr. Katz told me. “Many people lost hearing ability because they live close to the alarm. There are even those people who hear the alarm even when it’s silent. The heart is crying.” But the world is deaf. And the Western media is mute.

There is only one historical precedent of a modern democracy besieged under rocket attacks.

During the afternoon of Sept. 7, 1940, 348 Nazi bombers appeared over London. For the next 57 days, the city was bombed day and night. Fires consumed portions of the city. Residents sought shelter wherever they could find it — many fleeing to the underground that sheltered as many as 177,000 people during the night.

However, there is a big difference between the two situations: while the West backed the British resistance against the Nazi monster, Israel is alone in fighting a battle for all of us. And Sderot’s fate has become the fate of the whole of Israel.

Israeli reports indicate that warning time for a rocket attack on the greater Tel Aviv area has declined from two minutes to 90 seconds. From Gaza, a couple of years ago, the Islamic terrorists were able to strike at most of Sderot, which is just 3 kilometres from the Gaza Strip. Then they reached Ashkelon (20 km), Beersheba (40 km) and Ashdod (31 km), also hitting the outskirts of Rehovot (42) and Rishon Lezion (58 km). The Greater Tel Aviv area, where a quarter of the entire Israeli population lives, is the target of the next war. Nobody knows if and when it will begin.

There are estimated to be 200,000 missiles pointed at the country today. Tel Aviv could soon face Iran’s “judgment day.”

Many security drills are termed “NBC,” meaning nuclear, biological and chemical threats. In 1993, a Russian report indicated that Iran’s military industries were manufacturing two types of chemical weapons: mustard gas and the nerve agent Sarin. In addition to the chemical weapons industry, the report said “it is possible to speak confidently of the presence of a military-applied biological program.”

It's the new Europe. Who are the new Eichmanns?

After Toulouse, where three Jewish children and a rabbi were gunned down last March by a French Islamist, Europe witnesses another massacre of Jews.

At least 8 people were killed, 6 of them Israelis, and over 30 others were injured in a terror attack on a bus carrying Israelis in Burgas, east of the Bulgarian capital of Sofia.

We are waiting to know which Islamic hand is behind the new bloodbath of Israelis.

“Exactly 18 years after the terror attack at the Jewish community building in Argentina, the murderous Iranian terror continues to harm innocent people. This was an Iranian terror attack,” PM Benjamin Netanyahu stated. On July 18, 1994, Buenos Aires witnessed the most lethal anti-Semitic attack outside Israel since the Holocaust.

In Bulgaria, it’s already becoming certain that Islamism is proving to be more efficient than the Nazis.

On March 9, 1942, an order arrived from Berlin to deport the 50,000 Bulgarian Jews. Adolf Eichmann’s office was ready to “operate.”

In the morning, Czar Boris II flew to Berchtesgaden to ask Adolf Hitler why he needed the Jews. Reluctant to admit the fact of the gas chambers, Hitler answered that the Jews must build roads. “Roads are also needed in Bulgaria,” answered the king.

According to rumor, the Germans poisoned Boris II: the royal plane returned to Sofia with a dead king. His brother, Prince Cyril, a Germanophile, became regent, but Bulgaria arose, and the Parliament, the intellectuals, the ordinary people, everybody protested against the Jews’ deportation.

In some Bulgarian towns, the Jews were assembled to be put on trains. But the trains couldn’t be loaded until Czar Boris signed a proclamation authorizing the deportation.
In Plovdiv, the capital of South Bulgaria, the military governor was a sadistic anti-Semite.

He assembled all the Jews and locked them up in the Jewish school. But not a single Jew could be deported.

There are stories of human kindness, such as Christians who wore the yellowStar of David in solidarity with their Jewish friends. There are stories of courage, like that of the vice president of the Bulgarian parliament, who mobilized members of parliament to opposethe plan to deport Jews.

The salvation of the Bulgarian Jews was due to the refusal of Christian and Muslim Bulgarians to acquiesce in the killing of their Jewish brethren. It also raises the question of how many other Jews died because their fellow citizens stood silent.

At the end of World War II, the Jewish population of Bulgaria was larger than it had been in 1940. And 90 per cent of Bulgarian Jewry left for Israel in the early 1950s.

The Bulgarian people were the only people in Europe (apart from the Danes) who went out of their way to save the Jews.

Just as Toulouse’s recent slaughter is connected with Vichy’s France, which surrendered native Jews to the Nazis, using their own police force to organize and execute the task, the attack in Burgas has a historic meaning too.

Seventy years after the brave people of Bulgaria stopped the trains for Treblinka, 6 Israelis have been massacred there just because they are Jews. The Islamists have managed what the Nazis could not.

It’s the new Europe. A Jew-free continent.

Who are the new Eichmanns?

Forty years later, the Olympic games will again be stained with disgrace.

The International Olympic Committee will not hold an official minute of silence at the London Games for the 11 Israeli athletes butchered by the Palestinian terrorists at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

It was the worst terrorist attack in sports history, but the Olympic cupola capitulated to the Arabs’ terroristic ransom and has forsaken Israel, again.

The brave widows of two of the Israeli victims have campaigned to hold a commemoration, either through a moment of silence or a short mention in the Committee president’s opening remarks. Along with 89,000 other people, I signed their petition, but it was ineffective.

The widows and the people of Israel deserved a minute of silence, if only to ease the emotional pain. But the Committee choose infamy, disgrace and capitulation to jihadism.

“We want the Olympic Committee, with all 10,000 young athletes in front of them, to say, ‘Let us not forget what happened in Munich’”, said Ankie Spitzer, whose husband, Andre, was one of the Israeli athletes who had come in peace, to participate in the 20th Olympiad, not just to any country, but to Munich, the city that spawned Adolf Hitler, a mere 20 miles south of Dachau. When they left Germany, 11 were dead, 17 remained out of 28 – just about the same 40 percent.

There’s nothing like the Olympic Games to bring out collective feelings of peace and fair competition, and the memory of the Israelis had a chance of becoming a reality in London.

The massacre of the Israeli team is not just a tragedy for the Jewish State or even for the Olympics, but for the entire world. The building that housed the Israeli athletes was located less than 10 miles from the Dachau concentration camp. They were the first Jews killed in Germany for being Jewish since 1945. The Games lost their meaning that day, and by refusing to hold a memorial for the Israelis, the committee killed the games (and the memory of the eleven Israelis) for the second time. Since then, their murders have vanished from international memory.

If one is to identify a beginning of the slaughtering of Israeli civilians, one must return to 31 Connollystrasse in the Olympic Village of Munich. The apartment building today bears little resemblance to a place forever linked with the darkest hours in European post-Holocaust history.

The political objectives of the Games of 1972 were to bury the memory of the infamous 1936 Nazi Olympics, and to celebrate “the new Germany” as a member of the family of nations. The objective was evident in the color of the Games. Red and black, the colors of Communist and Nazi totalitarianism, were nowhere to be seen at Munich. In their place, the colors used were of “a may morning in Bavaria.” Friendly colors: grass green, sky blue, cloudlike silver and touches of “flowery orange.”

“Harbiya! Terroristen! Haverim, lehu maher!” The cry rang out in Hebrew at 4:30 a.m., Sept. 5, 1972, as Yossef Gutfreund, the Israeli wrestling coach, slammed against the door of Apartment 1, 31 Connollystrasse. ‘”Arabs! Terrorists! Comrades, get out fast!” For twenty seconds Gutfreund struggled, trying to buy time, one man against eight Arabs. Later the police would find the hinges twisted on the door.

Some Israelis slipped through a back door, but nine were seized and tied to furniture. The terrorists demanded 200 Palestinians jailed in Israel be freed.

The response of the Olympic organizers to the sullying of their games with violence was a series of shameful capitulations to terrorism.

On the day of the attack, the games at first continued, despite the knowledge that two Israelis were dead and nine remained hostage.

When the full tragedy became known, the games were halted for only part of one day. The German government, together with the Committee, rallied under the slogan “the Games must go on.” The shameful decision not to bring everything to a halt was morally bankrupt, and gave a green light for future massacres of innocent Jews.

What could have been more repugnant than the massacre of innocent athletes carried out at the Olympic Games? But the attack became a great media event that stressed the “occupation” of Palestine, and not a terrorist attack against the Jewish people on German soil after the Holocaust. The cowboy hats and the kefiyyehs of the Arab kidnappers, along with their long hair similar to libertarian university students, diverted attention from a simple reality: a band of Islamic terrorists slaughtered, one by one, eleven Jews.

Is the anti-Israel movement winning?

Last week I met Israel’s foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman, for a thirty-minute interview. We talked on many issues, like Iran, Egypt, the settlements, the Palestinians and also the European boycott of Israeli goods and companies. Lieberman said: “It’s nothing new.” True, the Jewish people have already been boycotted in the past. But I left Lieberman with the feeling that the Israeli diplomatic chief didn’t really understand the impact of the new economic warfare.

If in the past the orders came from Damascus, where the Arab League headquartered its operations, today the boycott obsession is spreading through Europe’s pension funds, supermarkets, firms and companies, labor unions and food co-ops.
The campaign is led by transnational groups, mainstream media, charities, pressure groups and campaigning networks. And it has already proven very successful.

Last week Norway’s finance ministry has excluded Shikun & Binui, Israel’s largest real estate company, from the Government Pension Fund Global (the largest in Europe) “over its construction of illegal Israeli colonies in East Jerusalem.” Norway’s oil fund already withdrew its investment from Africa-Israel and Danya Cebus, citing involvement in “settlement construction.”

Last month, South Africa instructed commercial importers not to use the label “Product of Israel” for goods manufactured in Judea and Samaria’s Jewish communities. Then the Danish government also announced the adoption of this policy. Irish Foreign Minister, Eamon Gilmore, proposed that the European Union consider banning products from the settlements. The move follows a British decision to allow retailers to distinguish whether goods are “Israeli settlement products” or “Palestinian products.”

If Europe labels goods as “Israeli settlements products” it will become impossible for the Israeli companies to reach sales points abroad. Other European countries will adopt this racist policy, according to a decision taken in 2010 by the EU high court: the “disputed areas” are not part of Israel, so Israeli goods made there are subject to EU import duties. The historic ruling stemmed from a German case filed by Brita GmbH, a German company that imports drink-makers for sparkling water from Soda Club, an Israeli company based in Mishor Adumim, one of Israel’s economic areas in the West Bank.

Agrexco, Israel’s leading flower exporter, has declared bankruptcy, partially due to the boycott of its produce, after more than 20 organizations in 13 countries endorsed a boycott of the company, partially owned by the Israeli government and which had farms in the Jordan Valley and in Tekoa, a settlement at the gates of the Judean desert.
The Swedish co-op terminated purchases of Soda carbonation devices.
The Dutch pension fund Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn, which has investments for 97 billion euros, has divested from almost all the Israeli companies in its portfolio (banks, telecommunication companies, construction companies and Elbit Systems). The British supermarket chain Co-Operative Group approved a boycott of goods from Judea and Samaria. A large Swedish pension fund also divested from Elbit over the latter’s role in building Israel’s security fence.

Elsewhere, the Ethical Council of four Swedish buffer pension funds urged Motorola “to pull out of the Israeli-occupied territories in the West Bank” or face divestment. Norway’s governmental pension and Germany’s Deutsche Bank divested from Elbit. The food manufacturing UK- and Dutch-owned multinational Unilever withdraw from Ariel, Israel’s largest settlement. Unilever, which makes household staples such as the Sunsilk shampoo and Vaseline, sold its 51% stake in the Beigel’s settlements factories.

The Church's increasingly disturbing ties and positions.

The Roman Catholic Church hailed UNESCO’s decision to grant the world heritage status to the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. According to the Vatican authorities, the UN decision is a “diplomatic victory” for the Palestinian Authority. Last Friday, the United Nations approved the Palestinian bid to place Jesus’ birthplace on its list of sites of World Heritage in danger. Israel called the decision “absurd” and “a sad day.”

The Palestinian agenda at UNESCO is the de-Judaization of the land of Israel by Islamicizing the holy sites. Oras Hamdan Taha, the Palestinian minister who deals with antiquities and gets funds from UNESCO, made clear, “it’s writing or rewriting the history of Palestine.” Less known is that the Vatican institutions are collaborating with the Palestinian autocracy.

The Vatican already declared its support of waving a Palestinian flag over the Temple Mount in the heart of ancient Jerusalem. Next in line is Rachel’s Tomb near Bethlehem, Judaism’s third most holy site, which for millennia has served as a place of longing, pilgrimage and prayer for the Jewish people. In 1996, Yasser Arafat’s Palestinian Authority began referring to the site as the “Bilal ibn Rabah Mosque,” and this is how UNESCO shamefully listed it in 2010.

Many Catholic groups worldwide already embraced the Palestinian myth. Pax Christi, one of the most famous Catholic organizations, on its website, repeatedly calls the Jewish site a “mosque.” Then there is the Bethlehem University of the Holy Land, the only Vatican-run educational institution in the area and whose founding can be traced back to the visit of Pope Paul VI in the holy land in 1964. The Catholic University recently launched a project about the Rachel’s Tomb. The document calls it “a historical religious site for followers of Christianity and Islam,” whose location is “on Palestinian lands.” The Vatican institution seems to ignore that all of Rachel’s Tomb belongs to Area C, which the Oslo Accords gave to Israeli jurisdiction. The very title of the Catholic project, “Rachel: An Alien in her Hometown,” suggests that the tomb is a spot hijacked by the Israelis. The tomb, the Catholic report says, “is also known by Muslims as the Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque.” According to the Vatican university, the Jewish shrines are Arab treasures stolen by the Zionists and the Israelis are no more than invading colonizers.

A few months ago, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Fouad Twal, welcomed enthusiastically the agreement reached between Hamas and Fatah, despite both the PLO and Hamas covenants’ call for the use of violence against the Jews. Last September, Patriarch Twal, named by Pope Benedict XVI, was at the White House for a meeting with the American administration — as well as for the purpose to support the PA statehood bid at the UN.

Last January eight Catholic bishops from Europe and North America, including UK Archbishop Patrick Kelly and French Archbishop Michel Dubost, visited Gaza under Hamas control. “I asked prisoners in the largest prison in Europe (in Evry) to pray for you,” Dubost told Gazans. The inference is clear: Palestinians are living in a big prison terrified by Israel. In the same period, Father Manuel Musalam, head of Gaza’s Catholics, met with Hamas leader, Mahmoud al Zahar, and declared that “Christians are not threatened by Muslims” but that everyone faces the same problem, that of Israel’s “humiliation.”

A few weeks earlier, the head of the Roman Catholic Church in England and Wales offered the Palestinians another piece of powerful propaganda: the comparison with Jesus’ passion. “We are to be freshly attentive to the needs of those who, like Jesus himself, are displaced and in discomfort,” Archbishop Vincent Nichols said during his last Christmas Mass sermon at Westminster Cathedral. “A shadow falls particularly heavily on the town of Bethlehem tonight … We pray for them tonight” It would have been more in keeping with Nicholas’ mission to mention hundreds of Christians losing their lives to Islamic terrorism and oppressed by Palestinian dictatorship.

Why Islamism if far more dangerous than Nazism or Communism.

It’s possible that in the coming years the Arab masses will revolt against their new Islamic rulers. But today, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Salafis, the Wahhabis and all the other followers of the Koran have the keys of the Arab world.

The new president of Egypt, Mohammed Morsi, is a pious revolutionary whose message has always been very simple: “Islam is the solution.” The real Egyptian people were not the secularists described by hypocritical Western journalists based in Tahrir Square. Instead, they are the people revealed in a recent Pew poll: 54% believe men and women should be segregated in the workplace; 82% believe adulterers should be stoned; 84% believe apostates from Islam should face the death penalty; 77% believe thieves should be flogged or have their hands cut off. That’s why the new Islamic rulers will try to impose the veil on women, ban alcohol and attack the cold peace with Israel. That’s why the most important Arab country will move toward a theocratic anti-Western scenario.

The Muslim Brotherhood isn’t seeking power; they want to change society and the individual in the name of a totalitarian ideology. They have waited 80 years to seize the power, while their worldview was forged in the Arabian desert 1,300 years ago. To become a “Brother,” an Ikhwan, one must pass through eight years of training. It’s like joining Heinrich Himmler’s SS. And like the Hitlerist special forces that were at war with Judaism, cosmopolitism, communism and democracy, the Islamic Brothers are at war with individualism, modernism, consumerism, materialism, tolerance, subjectivism, rationalism, paganism, Judaism and Christianity. Like the SS, the Brothers divide reality into light and darkness, spirit and matter, Islamic and non-Islamic. French philosopher Christian Godin wrote that Islamism is far more dangerous than either Nazism or Communism, since the latter, despite their genocidal follies, presupposed their own preservation. For the Hitlerists, the “inferior race” does not deserve to exist; for the Stalinist, the “enemy of the people” does not merit to continue living; for the Islamist, it is the world itself that does not deserve to exist.

Islamists will take into account tourism and jobs. But on top of their agenda is the Koran, not Egypt’s gross national product. They want to build a haven for Muslim bearded men, which will turn out to be a hell for women, Jews, Christians, unbelievers, atheists, converts and all the free men and women. More and more Copts will leave the country, walking in the streets of Cairo will become increasingly dangerous and the border with Israel will be open to rockets, salafism and beheaders.

One year ago the Muslim Brotherhood’s supreme guide, Mohammed Badie, proclaimed: “We will continue on the path of Qutb.” Few “experts” understood the deep meaning of this statement. The stories about the suffering of Qutb in Egyptian prisons are a kind of dark mythology of Islamism. Qutb was held for hours in a cell with dogs snarling while being beaten during rounds of questioning. Badie was his cellmate. Qutb managed to get his manifesto, “Milestones,” smuggled out of jail. It’s the “Mein Kampf of Islamism.” The text circulated clandestinely for years and was later banned.

The security walls that the futile hopes for peace built.

By the end of 2012, all of Israel’s borders, over a thousand kilometers, will be protected by walls, fences and barriers.

You can compare it to Hadrian’s Wall (the monumental border of the Roman Empire in Britain), the Maginot Line (the French fortifications built to protect the borders between the First and Second World War) or the medieval ghetto (the Jewish quarter surrounded by a wall and gates).

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu just instructed the army to work on a barrier at the border with Jordan. The Jewish State is building another fence of 240 km with Egypt, to protect the south of the country from terrorists, illegal immigrants, arms dealers. The fall of the regime of Hosni Mubarak, along with recent terrorist attacks, accelerated the construction. Every day, dozens of bulldozers and caterpillars are working feverishly in fifty yards along the border. The only unprotected area, running through the desert of Arava and reaching the tourist city of Eilat, will soon be encircled.

Israel began to build barriers in 1967, soon after the Six-Day War, when a fence was built in the valley of Beit Shean to prevent infiltrations from the Jordan Valley. In 1994, then-Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin built the barrier with the Gaza Strip. Netanyahu recently ordered the building of a new wall in Metulla, the northern city where the minions of Yasser Arafat killed lots of Jewish students and tourists. Metulla is now a shot from Hezbollah rockets. The army will build a barrier in the Golan, Israel’s strategic defense from Damascus, while the famous security barrier in Judea and Samaria should be completed later this year. This fence literally stopped the flow of Palestinian suicide bombers who killed hundreds of Jews inside the pre-1967 cities.

One of Israel’s founding fathers, Yigal Allon, once said that “no modern country can be surrounded by walls.” It’s true, but only Israel is literally strangled by terrorist groups and rogue states that are planning a new Holocaust. These fences are telling us more than anything else of the existential siege of the Jewish State.

But a tragic question still remains unsolved: is the Jewish State becoming a glorified and foredoomed ghetto, whetting the appetites of Islamic fundamentalists for its ultimate extinction? Is Israel reverting to the ghetto-like existence of 1948-1967, when Arab terrorism reigned and all population centers were within a few kilometers from a threatening border?

Trying to reconcile walls and fences with the idyllic peace the dovish architects of the Oslo agreements envisioned, Israeli leaders are now saying that “we must separate for a generation, until we learn to live together.”

In the mind of the “concessionists,” willing to give up all the land the Israeli army liberated and conquered in 1967, Israel must be turned into a Jewish ghetto in Falastin.

The new Jewish ghetto will be a truncated Israel, without the old Jerusalem, beleaguered by Arab refugees, a dependency of the UN Security Council which exchanges security borders for a paper peace. In the ghetto, land will be traded for tourism opportunities in other people’s countries. In the ghetto, “peace and money” will be the new leitmotif.

How leading Jewish personalities gain fame by trashing their own people.

Karl Marx died long before the State of Israel was created. But what made the founder of Communism an anti-Zionist before Zionism was his opposition to the very idea of a Jewish identity. The explanation can be found in his writings. In the second of his two early essays, together known by the title “On the Jewish Question,” Marx made many antisemitic assertions, such as: “Money is the jealous god of Israel, beside which no other god may exist.” “In the final analysis, the emancipation of the Jews is the emancipation of mankind from Judaism.”

If one believes that mankind has to be emancipated (read it: liberated) from Judaism, one then insists that Jews be powerless and assimilated. That’s why the new Jewish Marxists have turned anti-Zionism into one of their very highest priorities.

From the 1970s, Israel’s universities and Western intellectual circles had become home to a new generation of Jewish intellectuals who demonize and boycott Israel, and ultimately undermine the survival of the Jewish people after the Holocaust.

More than 90% of the allegations of “Israeli war crimes” cited in the shameful Goldstone Report were provided by 16 NGOs who received close to $8 million from the New Israel Fund, an organization headed by former Meretz MK and neo-Marxist Professor Naomi Chazan.

The list of “deranged Jew-haters which, if listened to, will do nothing other than pave the way to the next calamity” (as the brave Caroline Glick once called them), is long and very rich. Steve Plaut has drawn up a thorough list of them for the Middle East Quarterly and in his Freedom Center pamphlet, Jewish Enablers of the War Against Israel.

Tel Aviv University students and professors recently commemorated the “Nakba,” the “catastrophe,” as the Arabs call the date of the creation of the State of Israel in 1948. Ayal Nir, a lecturer at Ben-Gurion University, in his Facebook page, called to “break the necks of right-wing activists.” Israeli Professor Shlomo Sand achieved celebrity status in Europe by publishing a book denying the existence of the Jewish people, while Professor Oren Yiftachel called Israel “a white… pure settlement colonial society.” Larry Derfner, a former senior staff writer for The Jerusalem Post, publicly stated that the killing of Israeli citizens was a justifiable weapon for Palestinians in order to overcome the “occupation.”

At the Ben-Gurion University, Neve Gordon accused the IDF of being “war criminals” and promoted the boycott of Israel in a Los Angeles Times editorial.
Two days after two Jewish boys were murdered near their homes in Tekoa, Professor Ze’ev Sternhell published an article entitled “Against the lunatic government,” in which he wrote: “If the Palestinians had more sense they would direct their struggle against the settlements. They would also avoid placing explosive charges on the western side of the green line.” In other words, Sternhell, one of the most famous symbols of the defeatism of the lunatic Israeli Left, permits bombs to be exploded against Jews on the eastern side.

The new Hebrew publication “Tachlit Re’uya” by Ruti Eisikowitch sheds light on this “de-humanization of the settlers” committed by Israeli figures. Moshe Zimmerman of Hebrew University said he regards Jewish children in Hebron as Hitlerjugend. After Arabs sadistically bashed the skulls of two “settler kids” in the Judean desert, Israeli psychiatrist Ruchama Marton declared that “the settlers raise little monsters.” Anat Matar of Tel Aviv University openly supported boycotts of her own university, while University of Haifa professor Ilan Pappe accused the Jewish State of “ethnic cleansing.” Ran Hacohen from Tel Aviv University described “Israel as fulfilling Hitler’s dream” and referred to the assassination of Hamas leader Ahmed Yassin as “a milestone in the process of the barbarization of mankind.” Lev Grinberg of Ben-Gurion University accused the Israeli government, in a Belgian media, of “state terrorism.”

A vicious anti-Semitism that violates the dream of Martin Luther King Jr.

We are currently witnessing the sharp rise of a strong anti-Semitic movement among the Western black elite. The leaders of the American Jewish community, who embraced an ultra-liberal agenda, have in the past worked with the black leaders of the civil rights organizations, like the late Martin Luther King, who was very sympathetic to Jewish concerns and to Israel. But now there is a strong pro-Islamic movement among American blacks, sympathetic to the Arabs, whose participation in the slave trade is overlooked.

Alice Walker, author of “The Color Purple,” just recently refused to authorize a Hebrew translation of her prize-winning book, saying that “Israel is guilty of apartheid and persecution of the Palestinian people, both inside Israel and also in the Occupied Territories.” Not only did Walker support the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, but she also said that Israeli policies are “worse” than the segregation she suffered as an American youth and said South Africans had told her it was worse than Apartheid.

A complete list of the Afro-American personalities who have embraced an anti-Israel stance is long and exhaustive.

Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s pastor in Chicago, his spiritual father, his guide, his model, compared Israel to Nazi Germany and called the Jewish State a “deformed modern apartheid.” Andy Young and Jesse Jackson reached out to Yasser Arafat’s terrorists and Reverend Jesse Jackson even said that then-Senator Barack Obama, if elected president, would lessen the influence of, quote, “Zionists” on US foreign policy. Gerald Lenoir, executive director of the Black Alliance for Just Immigration, an education and advocacy group, declared that “as an African-American who was a leader in the U.S. anti-apartheid movement, I see the separate and unequal treatment of Palestinians as a form of apartheid and a crime against humanity.” An Afro-American icon like the writer Toni Morrison charged Israel with “the liquidation of the Palestinian nation,” while Archbishop Desmond Tutu repeatedly condemns “Israel’s apartheid” and recently penned an article in The Tampa Bay Times where he descended into rank anti-Semitism: “The Jews are a peculiar people. They can’t ever hope to be judged by the same standards which are used for other people.”

The new black anti-Semitism finds expression not only in the “Zionism is Racism” indictment, but the further indictment of the Jewish State as “the new apartheid.” In the hands of the black leaders, apartheid has become the most powerful term for demonizing Israel, since it evokes the precedent of sanctions against the white regime in South Africa.

Anyone who has lived in both apartheid South Africa and Israel knows that the analogy is immoral and wicked. Apartheid was a system of governance where a white minority subjugated the black population and the “superior” whites could not mingle with or even sit on a bench with the “inferior” black peoples. In Israel, Jews and Arabs share public spaces, buses and schools. In Israel all citizens – Jew and Arab alike – are equal before the law.

Israel has no Population Registration Act, no Group Areas Act, no Mixed Marriages and Immorality Act, no Separate Representation of Voters Act, no Separate Amenities Act. Israeli Arabs sit in the Supreme Court, even the most anti-Jewish Arab parties belong to the Israeli Parliament, there are Arab cabinet ministers. In all of Israel’s hospitals, Jewish and Arab doctors and nurses work side by side treating Arab and Jewish patients.

Why the authoritarian regime in the Palestinian areas yearns to eradicate Jewish past and life everywhere.

“I suggested to Amjad the idea that we would reach the fence of Itamar. I said, ‘let’s do something that will be special, so that in the future each one of us will grow older and tell his children about it’”. This is the transcript just released in Israel of the interrogations of Amjad and Hakim Awad, the Palestinian murderers of the Fogel family, slaughtered last year in Itamar.

Ruth Fogel was in the bathroom when Awad killed her husband Udi and their three-month-old daughter Hadas, slitting their throats as they lay in bed. Awad slaughtered the mother as she came out of the bathroom. He moved into a bedroom where Ruth and Udi’s sons Yoav (11) and Elad (4) were sleeping. He slit their throats. This is Awad describing the carnage: “I took the first boy to the bedroom and I murdered him with two blows to the neck. I slaughtered him.” Then he killed the infant Hadas: “The baby slept between the father and the mother and cried out loud. I stabbed him in the heart.”

In court, Awad smiled at the camera, he said he has “no regrets” and flashed the “V” sign for victory while he was leaving the courthouse. “I am a person like you, I have no mental condition,” Awad said to the judges. His smile was sincere, reminding the so called “Khmer Rouge’s smiling assassins”.

Kaing Guek Eav, the former commander in charge of S-21 prison in Phnom Penh where as many as 16,000 Cambodians were killed, revealed that the communist Khmer Rouge killed the babies of the regime’s victims by battering them against trees.

Like the Palestinian killers of the Fogels and the Palmers (a Jewish father and son killed by stones last autumn), the Khmer Rouge didn’t waste bullets, but cut their victims’ throats. By each Camdodian mass grave, where women and children were buried together, there was a banana tree nearby where the innocent babies were swung against the trunk.

Unlike the Palestinian criminal project, the Cambodian genocide was not perpetrated on an ethnic basis but on ideological grounds. Pol Pot wanted to create a new type of man, ideologically pure. Cambodia became a life-size agrarian laboratory. The Khmer Rouge turned what was once a smiling land into an arcipelago of gulags. An estimated 1.7 million people died under Pol Pot’s 1975-79 regime. The horrible enormity of what the Khmer Rouge was planning was apparent after the capture of Phnom Penh. Pol Pot’s men evacuated cities and towns into the countryside. They killed people just for wearing spectacles. Their victims were monks, students, farmers, vendors, teachers, children and retarded persons. People died for smoking “imperialist cigarettes.”
