The troubling story of what goes unreported and why.

Syria’s ongoing atrocities have led to multiple discoveries revealing unprecedented amounts of covert activities. An array of international players exist in Syria, however, most observers solely focus on the Assad regime or his opposition comprising of the Free Syrian Army (FSA). There is so much more to the situation in Syria going unreported and it constitutes internationally led covert activities and the illegal incorporation of journalists possibly serving as spies.

After several days of deductive reasoning then a quick follow up with an undisclosed source that is incredibly active with the Syrian conflict, some points of covert activities have been confirmed. At least one US media network, and possibly more, has been involved in covering up some of the activities.

More interesting is the fact that some of these media networks have a history of chastising such intelligence practices especially when it comes to the incorporation of intelligence contractors.

Richard Engel, NBC News chief foreign correspondent, and his crew recently escaped from pro-Assad militants after being held for five days. Mixed reporting initially aired claiming he and his crew were abducted by the Free Syrian Army. NBC requested a temporary media blackout on this situation.

Engel and his crew miraculously freed themselves yet the escape was not as miraculous as he or NBC would like people to believe. There was an orchestrated attempt to see Engel and his team freed by international players many of whom have no government affiliation—i.e. independent contractors.

These international players worked closely with the Free Syrian Army formulating a plan of action, and that plan came to fruition.

With sound intelligence, an ambush was orchestrated on Engel’s capturers. The pro-Assad capturers were caught in a “dead zone” forced to return fire and engage the FSA opposition.

During this action, some of Engel’s captors were severely injured prompting Engel and his team to flee. Everything Engel revealed came to light, but a lot of missing points are still left unanswered.

Temporarily freed, Engel was still in a hostile region deep inside Syria. Who assisted him and his team to physically move out of that hostile region? Who assisted in his transportation needs to reach the border of Turkey?

The same people who engaged Engel’s captors were the same people who assisted in his travels to Turkey—the Free Syrian Army. This information has been confirmed by undisclosed Western sources intimately familiar with Engel’s escape as these sources were part of the planning process.

The same sources revealed a botched rescue mission conducted by the Free Syrian Army, which unfolded in September. It was a rescue mission to free US journalist Austin Tice. The former Marine Corp veteran was abducted in mid-August by pro-Assad militants.

The former Marine’s family recently begged for information pertaining to their son’s whereabouts. While no one can confirm his current whereabouts, it is known that in September, Mr. Tice was being held on an undisclosed airfield in Syria.

The airfield, which shall not be named due to intelligence security, was attacked by the FSA. The attack was a multi-pronged operation intended to destroy vital infrastructure, which included gas storage facilities, air traffic control, and even aircraft. The attack was also intended to free at least one Western journalist.

Operational security is vital in these types of missions. Leaks of information can get people killed. Unfortunately, the Free Syrian Army had a leak in their operation’s planning, which placed ground forces in a grueling situation, leaving some killed.

During this time in September, at least three air fields were attacked by the Free Syrian Army. Some of the attacks could be deemed successful while others were a complete nightmare. Needless to say, Austin Tice remains in pro-Assad militants’ captivity.

Another international journalist has been abducted, however most reporting claims the abduction was enacted by the Free Syrian Army. Ankhar Kotchneva, a Ukrainian journalist with Russian citizenship, has been missing since October.

The case of Ankhar Kotchneva is interesting. A few questions must be asked to determine her actual status. Some reports claim when Kotchneva was abducted, she was actually carrying a weapon.

Anti-Assad elements have stated that Kotchneva “was carrying a gun and was an interpreter for Russian officers.” Real journalists do not make it a habit to carry weapons while on assignment. Why was she carrying a weapon? Was she using journalism as a cover story for intelligence activities?

According to the kyivpost.com, “Her coverage of the Syrian conflict for several Russian media, including NTV, RenTV and RT channels favored Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. She voiced support for the Syrian president in interviews she gave to other news outlets as an expert on the region. When she was abducted, Kotchneva was employed as an interpreter.”

At least one Eastern European media outlet acknowledges Kotchneva was not in Syria working as a journalist. Instead, she was serving as an interpreter. But who was she interpreting for? That question remains unknown. But what is known is this—no one is coming to her rescue any time soon.

Journalists have been rightly outraged over the ongoing crisis dealing with Ankhar Kotchneva. For many journalists, she is one of them. But emotions need to be taken out of the cognitive process to understand the life Ankhar Kotchneva could possibly have been living.

Remember Anna Chapman? How many American’s who were close to her refused to accept the fact that she was an actual spy for Russia? If Ankhar Kotchneva is actually found to be a spy for Russia, many journalists will likely go into denial as well.

Russia is playing a very dangerous game in Syria, and they have recently acknowledged that it appears Bashar Assad will likely lose the war. Russia backed the wrong team in Syria. Now they have one of their own citizens held against her will potentially facing execution for crimes of espionage.

When it comes to Syria, there is a difference between Russia’s activities and the West. Russia is physically placing its citizens in harm’s way on the ground in Syria. Some of those citizens may or may not be acting as journalists while they serve as spies.

Col. Stanislav Lunev has once revealed that many journalists from Russia and other countries are, in reality, intelligence gatherers. He also stated that many Russian journalists have recruited leading American reporters to engage in espionage as well. Col. Lunev should know exactly how Russian covert operatives execute their missions. He was the highest-ranking spy ever to defect from the Russia’s top spy organization, the GRU.

The United States has strict laws against using journalists as spies. This does not mean it never happens, however. More often than not, journalists serve as sources for the US intelligence community. OSINT, Open Source Intelligence, is the lead in utilizing media for its intelligence activities.

50 USC § 403–7 titled, Prohibition on using journalists as agents or assets, specifically states that “the Intelligence Community may not use as an agent or asset for the purposes of collecting intelligence any individual who is authorized by contract or by the issuance of press credentials to represent himself or herself, either in the United States or abroad, as a correspondent of a United States news media organization.”

With more than 28 journalists killed in Syria just in 2012 alone, the war torn nation has become uniquely complex. Many of these journalists have been killed by pro-Assad forces while some have been killed by anti-Assad opposition.

Both sides have enacted the practice of targeting journalists and both sides may have good reason. Today, we learn that while most journalists are serving in ethical roles, some are not. Some, like Ankhar Kotchneva, may be serving in unique covert activities working as spies.

Terrorism is a tactic used by individuals with specific ideologies. Killing an ideology is nearly impossible. The war on terror is a complete misnomer. A war cannot be waged against a tactic. And proving to be an ideological war, evidence demonstrates that today, the tactic of terrorism is actually growing world-wide.

Since 2001, the United States and our allies have been engaged in a complex war fighting against an ideology. Many people have been killed while many more have been maimed. Today, it is known via the University of Maryland’s Global Terrorism Database, deaths caused by terror have decreased yet attacks have actually quadrupled world-wide since 2001.

The leading ideological culprit behind the growing terror dilemma is Islam. The Global Terrorism Database proves unequivocally that those who embrace a very twisted religious ideology are leading the world today in terrorist activities — i.e. Islamists.

Terrorists have varied their tactics with advanced unconventional tools. Today, we learn that Syria is threatening to incorporate chemical weapons against its opposition. The Free Syrian Army (FSA) has already ransacked at least three Syrian military bases procuring Manual Portable Air Defense (MANPAD) systems shooting down a Syrian military helicopter just last week. Do we know whether they obtained any chemical weapons during the raids as well?

What happens if the opposition obtains these chemical weapons? What happens if Al Qaeda elements fighting alongside Free Syrian Army rebels transfer these weapon systems elsewhere later, incorporating them into the streets of a European or North American nation? Terrorist and their movements strengthen.

Four credible arguments can be made explaining why terrorist incidents have increased over the years—weak US foreign policy, internal fighting between conventional and unconventional military wisdom, technical intelligence dependency, and decapitated US human intelligence.

A weak US foreign policy could be partially blamed for the spike in world-wide terrorist incidents. Since the start of the Arab Spring, the United States has actually emboldened terrorist groups through “behind closed doors” diplomacy, weapons procurement, and other logistical needs. Simply put, the very people we often assist frequently become the very people we fight.

The Department of Defense incorporated conventional war fighting into an unconventional global battle. Terrorism is a tactic incorporating small cellular units which can only be destroyed by opposing cellular force structures. Special operations are the viable assets capable of defeating terrorist networks, yet conventional wisdom found its way into the fight, marginalizing the unconventional battle.

The United States intelligence community has become technologically dependent. The enemy has learned to incorporate technology into their arsenal, but quickly realized dependency on that technology would lead to their deaths due to Western intercept capabilities. More and more terrorists are, today, utilizing a very old communications concept known as “runners.”

It is virtually impossible to intercept terrorists who incorporate communication runners if technical intelligence tools dominate the intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) platform. Human intelligence is critical in today’s asymmetric war.

Unfortunately, the United States’ human intelligence (HUMINT) capabilities were severely crippled during the Carter era, never making the comeback needed for national security advancements. Even with a newly formed clandestine service founded by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the program is in its infancy. These operators are being forced to sprint into a game without having the experience.

Human Intelligence success depends on sound trade-craft. Trade-craft cannot be learned in just a few short months in a classroom or in a field training exercise. It takes years to not only learn the tricks of the trade but to gain the confidence needed to enter a non-permissive environment and build a vetted source network. The Defense Clandestine Service is light years behind the curve.

Evidence proves that while some administrators and elected officials would like us to believe the war on terror is over, it is not. The world-wide terror calamity is actually growing. This is a growing threat which jeopardizes national security. And yet, we have failed in learning how to best manage the situation.

With a fiscal cliff looming and national security funding threatened with sequestration, the terrorists are gaining momentum. The next four years will be trying times for the Western free world. Will terror continue to flourish or will we learn from past mistakes allowing us to incorporate sound and executable plans of counter-actions that coincide with one another on all fronts?

In a new era of terrorism, divided enemies merge.

Osama Bin Laden, the presumed mastermind behind the creation of Al Qaeda, originally formalized a global network of militants mostly comprised of Muslim Brotherhood members. These Brotherhood members, like Ayman al-Zawahiri, tapped into their own personal networks which later socially conditioned and recruited a mass movement of followers. Many were active militant fighters while many more were passive supporters to a newly established global terror network. Interestingly enough, many have argued that the original Al Qaeda Network no longer exists.

As Al Qaeda grew long after the Russian-Afghan war, many of its leaders became empowered. They split off moving into strategically positioned bases around the world. Their mission was to embolden Al Qaeda’s radicalized views of Islam in an attempt to create a “World Caliphate.” Needless to say, many leaders in this movement sought to achieve this strategic objective through government infiltration, passive social conditioning, and even through means of violent terror activities.

With time, an internal struggle existed within the original Al Qaeda network. Some members believed joining forces with non-Sunni Islamic persons would only strengthen their ultimate goals. Others believed working with such persons was off limits. Still, additional non-Sunni terror groups aligned with former Al Qaeda elements. Examples of these non-Sunni factions include Hezbollah, Colombia’s FARC, and even cartels such as Los Zetas in Mexico. Of course, many times these newly “joined forces” are not always direct. Many times, the joining of forces comes through third party initiatives.

Like most mass movements, they are formed by a handful of individuals simply seeking power. These individuals groom members, yet, like street gangs, when certain members feel they have enough power, they move onto their own initiatives. These initiatives often involve the creation of their own groups. These groups are separate from their original mother group, yet at times maintain some allegiance, as seen in several Outlaw Motorcycle Clubs. Such a move has been seen between Ayman al-Zawahiri and the Muslim Brotherhood recently.

US to deploy a record level of troops to Israel -- will their stay be permanent?

On January 19th 1991, during the first Gulf War, the United States sent Patriot Missiles and a contingent of U.S. service members into Israel on temporary assignment. This was the least we could have done for Israel as they vowed not to respond to Saddam’s SCUD attacks which reached deep inside Tel Aviv. Never have U.S. forces found a permanent home inside the Holy Land—until today.

Twenty years later, the United States committed to a permanent presence in Israel. According to Defense News, as of September 21st 2011, the United States deployed a high-powered, high-frequency, transportable X-band radar system to Israel along with a small contingent of support personnel. Designed to detect and track ballistic missiles soon after launch, the AN/TPY-2 Transportable Radar Surveillance/Forward Based X-band Transportable (FBX-T), its ancillary components, and some 120 EUCOM personnel are prepared to defeat any Iranian missile attack. Today, these service members make home at Israel’s Nevatim Air Base.

In an attempt to comfort those who may feel alarmed by this news, rest assured that a U.S. military presence in Israel has been planned for some time now. In fact, since 2007, the U.S. Army solicited contractual opportunities for Israel’s Nevatim Air Base. Solicitation number W912GB-07-R-0013 was released in April 2007 specifically designed for the new construction of two aircraft hangars, hazardous material storage buildings, hangar annex buildings, a dining facility, a utility building, a boom treatment station, part washing and storage facilities, a laboratory and workshop building, as well as site development to include roads, parking, taxiways and landscaping.

The Iranian-backed terror plot targeting the Saudi Arabian Ambassador to the United States, along with multiple targets throughout South and Central America, should come as no surprise. Iran has always sought measures to jeopardize U.S., Israeli, and Saudi interests. U.S. authorities should be praised for their interdiction of this activity. This was not the first, nor will it be the last, attempt that the Iranians undertake to kill Americans and our allies through terrorism.

Below are just a handful of the more significant atrocities perpetrated by Iran against the U.S. and our allies:

1979—U.S. diplomats were taken hostage in Tehran held for more than one year.

1983–Iranian supported Hezbollah detonated a VBIED killing over 241 U.S. service members in Lebanon.

1984—William Buckley was taken hostage by Iranian terrorists and was later killed by the Revolutionary Guard Corp.

1985—U.S. Navy Underwater Diver Robert Stethem was brutally murdered on TWA flight 727.

1992—Israeli embassy in Argentina was attacked by Iranian operatives leaving more than 250 injured and 20 killed.

1995—The Amia Jewish Center was targeted with an explosive killing 85 leaving over 230 injured—Al Quds force commander Vahidi was behind the execution of the attack.

1996—Iranian supported Hezbollah in Hijaz detonated a VBIED at Khobar Towers killing 19 service members.

2003—Reports that Al Qaeda was operating in Iran through protection of Al Quds forces to engage in operations throughout Iraq and Afghanistan against U.S. service members.

20010—Substantial signs of Iranian infiltration into the United States were identified on the U.S. southern border—Congresswoman Sue Myrick cried for investigations with no resolve.

2011—Iran threatens U.S. coastal waters through articulating its desires to send its naval vessels on patrol around North America.

Evidence proves Iran’s hatred towards the United States, Israel, and its Sunni rival Saudi Arabia. U.S. politicians have known for several years that Iran has engaged in a very unique proxy war in Iraq. Such activities fuels Iraqi Shiite insurgents threatening U.S. forces with advanced shape charged IED’s yet very little has been done against the Shiite nation state.

Sanctions have been enforced on Iran due to its nuclear program yet they continue to laugh in our face. Today, the threat has become a reality on our own U.S. soil. Arrests have been made but that does not mean the threat has vanished. Iran’s behavior has a pattern—a pattern that can only change with austere corrective measures.

Why is the Vatican silent about this atrocity?

The 11th branch of Iran’s Gilan Provincial Court upheld the apostasy conviction and execution sentencing of Christian Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani this week. Social media accounts like Twitter have swarmed support for Pastor Nadarkhani. But where is the critically needed support from nation states—let alone, from where the Vatican?

The Vatican is an internationally recognized sovereign state with full diplomatic status. The Holy See has a legal personality under international law, giving it recognition as a sovereign state, which allows it to enter into treaties and to send and receive diplomatic representation. Knowing the Vatican has these powers, why hasn’t it spoken up on behalf of the Christian minister?

It is understood that the Vatican does not have its own military. However, history exemplifies the power of the Vatican to bring nations together to defeat its arch enemies through either diplomatic means or military might. This does not imply cause for a militant exhibition. However, it does imply, in a historical sense, the power of the Vatican. Has that power been lost today?

At the Council of Clermont, Pope Urban II addressed the world to aid the Greeks and recover Palestine from Muslim rule. It was here that Pope Urban II requested aid from the West to fight against the Seljuq Turks. Nation states listened to the Pope and launched armies to engage battle against the Muslims, which lasted approximately 175 years. Some believe the ninth crusade was initiated by Muslims ten years ago on that horrific and tragic September day often referred to as 9-11.

Assyrian-born Chaldean Catholic Tariq Aziz served as deputy prime minister to Iraq until 2003. During his tenure and immediately prior to the 2003 U.S.-led invasion, Saddam Hussein repeatedly sent Aziz to the Vatican in an attempt to delay and or resolve military confrontation against the United States. Needless to say, when you commit crimes against humanity as Aziz had, it’s extremely tough for the Vatican to assist you.

Iran constantly commits crimes against humanity. War crimes have been committed, relentless killings of innocent people, torture, and so much more comes directly out of this Shiite-dominated state—yet they sit on the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. The Vatican failed in delivering any statement opposing this newly appointed Iranian UN position.

Lately, instead of fighting for the morale and values bestowed before a loving and peaceful Christian faith, Pope Benedict seems to have embraced Iran. In 2008, Pope Benedict actually conferred that the two entities agreed with one another on faith-based principles. Pope Urban II must be rolling in his grave.

Since 2001 alone, there have been well over 2,000 innocent Christians brutally murdered by Muslims. None of these people were military members engaged in any of the wars fought in Iraq or Afghanistan. They were faith-based community members or missionaries, some of which were actual clergy. Not once in any of the aforementioned atrocities did the Vatican make a global outcry for the victims. Yes, some statements can be found in Vatican records, but they failed to saturate international media news as they should have.

If anyone believes that the Vatican will step up today in safeguarding one of their own practitioners who preaches the word of God to fellow Christians, they will likely be let down. As a practicing Roman Catholic, I am at times ashamed of my own religious denomination, yet for whatever reason, I maintain my faith.

There are currently numerous prayer calls for Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani. Numerous petitions exist requesting the United States Department of State intervene. While fully recognizing the power of prayer, maybe it’s time to simply do more about Iran and follow the war cry of Pope Urban II not just for the sake of Pastor Nadarkhani but for all of those who have faced the horrors of Iran’s evil.

Proxy warfare throughout the Middle East.

We all know about Iran’s nuclear desires. To what extent, some may still question–do they want a nuclear weapon or are they simply seeking nuclear power to support their energy complex? GOP candidates have debated the Iranian nuclear topic, yet no GOP candidate has been asked the very real question about Iran’s current proxy war taking place throughout the Middle East—let alone, how they will deal with the rogue regime.

At a time when Senator Lindsey Graham, Admiral Mike Mullen, and many others see the reality of Pakistan’s involvement in aiding enemies like the Haqqani network, very few accept or comprehend the magnitude which Iran plays into this mix supporting Pakistan’s ISI. Yes, Iran supports Pakistan’s ISI and yes, Iranian agents have been known to operate in the region.

Iran has also been a major contributor to the ongoing violence in Iraq. In fact, a great majority of the weapons used against U.S. forces comes directly out of Iran. The Shiite nation patiently awaits the departure of U.S. forces so it can pursue its goal of taking over.

Not only does Iran support the ISI and patiently await a U.S. withdrawal from Iraq, it has also supported numerous Shiite and non-Shiite terrorist groups like Al Qaeda, Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, Hezbollah, and Hamas. Since the release of the 9-11 Commission Report, U.S. policy makers have understood Iran’s involvement with terrorism yet very few politicians have been willing to deal with the threat they pose.

Today, Iran has been heavily involved in numerous secret activities across the Arabian Peninsula and Africa. And, yet again, Iran’s involvement across such lands is not discussed. With Yemen facing an austere civil crisis, Dr. Roby Barret, who in May 2011 published a Joint Special Operations University publication titled Yemen: A Different Political Paradigm in Context, exemplified his expertise of the region by specifically mentioning at least one major Iranian supported factor leading Yemen’s insurrection—the Huthi tribe.

Dr. Barret describes the Huthi tribe as “a small ideologically motivated group that is anti-Western and embraces Iran.” What he failed to mention is the fact that the Huthi are 100% aided by Iran with logistics, finances, and intelligence—activities which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia fears considering a small part of the Huthi tribe rests in south west Saudi Arabia.

Yemen is a haven for terrorists and if a new Iranian-backed regime takes over, the world will witness the birth of a new Shiite dominated terror producing machine in the Arabian Peninsula. Yemen has its issues fueled by Iran but so do other Arab nation states.

Remembering Hezbollah's hijacking of TWA Flight 847.

Twenty-six years ago today, on June 15, 1985, the world watched one of the most horrific atrocities taken against innocent civilians—this event was aired live on televisions around the world. TWA Flight 847 was hijacked, held its captives for seventeen day, and brutally murdered 23-year old Robert Stethem, a proud American and a U.S. Navy diver. This terrorist attack was conducted by the Iranian supported terrorist group Hezbollah.

Hezbollah remains one of the world’s most threatening Islamist terrorist organizations. It often goes unmentioned in traditional media due to the current wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Al Qaeda has appeared to supersede it like a global pandemic as we continue to fight this war against terror but make no mistake: Hezbollah has been and remains a deadly threat to Israel, the United States and all free peoples .

Hezbollah was founded in 1983 by numerous individuals including Sheik Abbas Moussawi who was later killed in February 1992 by Israel. According to Jane’s World Insurgency and Terrorism (pg. 270), “The main objectives Hezbollah has is to establish a revolutionary Shi’a Islamic State in Lebanon, eliminate non-Islamic influences, and force Western interests out of the region.” They are a hate induced religiously fanatic terrorist group.

There is no question that Hezbollah is anti-American and anti-Israeli. They have conducted hundreds of terrorist attacks against both nation states. One of the most notorious acts of terrorism conducted by Hezbollah against the Western world was in the year 1983.

The “Beirut Bombings” occurred on October 23rd 1983 at the Beirut International AirPort which was the staging location for headquarters elements of a U.S. Marine Corp Battalion Landing Team. The method of operation involved a yellow in color Mercedes Benz truck that was filled with explosives roughly equivalent to 12,000 pounds of TNT. The vehicle ran through two entry control points that were manned by highly trained Marine Corp guards. The vehicle detonated as it ran into the housing complex of the Marines killing 241 of its estimated 350 occupants.

Approximately two years later, Hezbollah decided to make another terrorizing impact instilling fear around the globe. They targeted another U.S. owned and operated asset—TWA Flight 847. Their objectives against the Marines in 1983 were strictly to kill as many U.S. service members as possible. In 1985, their objective was to gain the release of fellow “Party of God” terrorists from prison.

Some point in the 1985 hijacking, Robert Stethem was identified as a U.S. service member. Like any service member, Robert had the strength and courage to fight relentlessly to stay alive. Overwhelmed by his assailants, he was brutally beaten and then shot in the head. His body was then dumped on the tarmac—all because he was part of one of America’s greatest assets, an active U.S. military service member.

Today, many continue to fight the asymmetric and unconventional war we face. These are our brave men and women willing to sacrifice their friends, families, and even self if need be. Our nation’s service members will not tire, they shall not quit, and they shall seek victory no matter who threatens our nation be it Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, or any other identified threat. They do this for the love of this great nation and what it stands for, something our enemies hate—Freedom.

Many of our best and brightest have paid the ultimate sacrifice fighting today’s war. As a nation, this is a debt that cannot be repaid. We can only honor them and we do this best by remembering that is it because of these fallen heroes, like U.S. Master Chief Robert Dean Stethem, that America is the land of the free and the home of the brave.

The suicidal element of our asylum program.

Many media outlets have covered the crisis in Libya, but few have identified how the crisis can profoundly jeopardize our homeland security. But make no mistake about it: our engagement in Libya opens our nation up to various threats and risks of destabilization. Are we prepared?

Looking back at the 1970’s, we witness that anytime civil unrest occurs abroad, the U.S. State Department implements a very unique program: mass asylum initiatives. Designed to help relieve the burden of conflict and provide some needed respite for those deserving of humanitarian and political sanctuary, the mass asylum initiatives were established with the best of intentions. However, the assumption of responsibility on our part to provide support has also led to naivete and oversight of what is now a severely crippled program.

Central America witnessed great atrocities throughout the 1970’s and 80’s. Approximately 75,000 persons were killed in El Salvador, 60,000 or more killed in Nicaragua, and 100,000 deaths resulted in Guatemala – all due to civil uprisings fueled by political corruption. The U.S. State Department granted mass asylum to thousands of individuals from these nations. Interestingly enough, some of those who were granted privileges to reside in the U.S. turned to gang life, which created the world’s largest street gang known as Mara Salvatrucha (MS 13). MS 13 formed in Los Angles, California due to “street persecution” amongst rival Mexican street gangs like 18th Street.

Outnumbered, lack of weapons, and due to a need for survival, MS 13 recruited more and more Central American natives to the United States by recognizing and beating the corrupted U.S. asylum process. To date, they have built the world’s largest street gang, which is now transitioning into a fully functioning terrorist organization. Not only does MS 13 work alongside narco terrorists, some of their foot soldiers have been known to collaborate with Hezbollah and Hamas cells located in Mexican border cities like Tijuana.

Central America is not alone. Hundreds of thousands of people, many of whom are Albanian, entered the United States during President Clinton’s Bosnian War. Many were initially airlifted out of Bosnia/Kosovo on U.S. military cargo aircraft, taken to Fort Dix for processing, and then later released to integrate into the free and prosperous domains of America.

While the majority fulfilled peaceful livelihoods, some eventually left the United States to fulfill their Jihad, in places like Afghanistan, Pakistan, and even Uzbekistan as foreign terrorist fighters operating within Al Qaeda. Three of the Duka brothers along with Agron Abdullahu from the infamous “Fort Dix Six” were actual Albanian Muslims whose families at one time manipulated and abused the United States asylum process.

What the administration's catch phrases are really meant to achieve.

“Language and words are how we encapsulate meaning. Hence, if you control language, you control thought.” (Changingminds.org)

Time and again, “catch phrases” are used amongst national security leaders. This includes military, political appointees, and even our own President. Key terms are used to control our own thoughts. More and more are popping up and most recently, the greatest catch phrase of all is beginning to circulate the internet: “Kinetic Military Action Promoting Humanitarianism.”

In one way or another, numerous members within the current administration have stated that the actions occurring in Libya are “Kinetic Military Actions Promoting Humanitarianism.” They have all stressed that fulfilling such activity is not to be construed as a declaration of war. Only a political appointee with a legal background could justify this statement.

Kinetic normally refers to motion. In a military sense, the term has moved to a new meaning: lethal. Today, U.S. troops engage in kinetic (lethal) and non-kinetic (non-lethal) operations. In Afghanistan, one could observe both types of operations through kill and capture of High Valued Targets or the building of schools and medical clinics in an attempt to “win hearts and minds.” Hmm, another catch phrase used too often to dupe the masses.

The actions taking place in Libya are lethal activities by our very own military-kinetic in nature. One must question though how any activity involving the killing of another can be construed as humanitarian in nature. Dissecting catch phrases to understand true meaning is essential today for anyone interested in better understanding what our own administration is really up to: controlling thoughts of the people.

Some of the more frequently used catch phrases to control thoughts are more than amusing:

Social Justice – originally refers to the principle of equality and solidarity for greater economic egalitarianism through increased taxation, income and property redistribution. Seems more like a one way streak for those that are too lazy to capitalize on the never ending opportunities for success; not truly social or just at all.

Battle Rhythm — describes those events that a unit conducts on a recurring basis that facilitates setting the conditions for success. Question: doesn’t a unit need to be engaged in tactical “battle” to determine the rhythm if this is the case? The average “battle” in Afghanistan lasts only a few short minutes. So, why do military leaders to include even those in the Pentagon talk about the “battle rhythm” on a daily bases when they aren’t even involved in the tactical battle? Maybe it should be referred to as the “war rhythm.”

Freedom of Information — is legislation pertaining rules that guarantee access to data held by the state. If access to such information is presumably free and guaranteed, why does it take so long to obtain if it can be obtained at all? Oftentimes, replies from inquiries of such data come back “confidential” meaning, it’s not publicly accessible.

And the most frequent that is likely to be used by President Obama when he addresses the nation is “let me be clear.” Barrack, you could not be so cluttered if you tried. Yes, many can see right through you though so maybe you are clear but that clarity is not free from flaw.

Who knows, maybe in due time, another leader will take over a significant position of authority and decide to bring back carpet bombings. To win the hearts and minds of Al Gore and his environmentalist, along with many other American people, this activity should be referred to as “Expeditionary Green Cultivation Activities.” It can’t be any worse than Kinetic Military Action Promoting Humanitarianism.
