As a Jewish person, I am more outraged that Obama has spoken at Sharpton events

I don’t claim to be a Duke buff, but unlike Sharpton, the Neo-Nazi leader does not appear to have a lot of bodies around him. I’m not even seeing him being linked to any race riots.

Meanwhile Sharpton was attached to racial violence across New York City. He didn’t just say hateful things, he led mobs whose members went on killing sprees. The worst Sharpton massacre occurred at Freddy’s whose owner Sharpton had denounced as a “White Interloper”.

1991: A Hasidic Jewish driver in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights section accidentally kills Gavin Cato, a 7-year-old black child, and antisemitic riots erupt. Sharpton races to pour gasoline on the fire. At Gavin’s funeral he rails against the “diamond merchants” — code for Jews — with “the blood of innocent babies” on their hands. He mobilizes hundreds of demonstrators to march through the Jewish neighborhood, chanting, “No justice, no peace.” A rabbinical student, Yankel Rosenbaum, is surrounded by a mob shouting “Kill the Jews!” and stabbed to death.

Can you remind me of the time David Duke led a lynch mob through a Jewish neighborhood? I’m sure he would have loved to, but unlike Sharpton, he doesn’t have the protection of Democratic politicians.

1995: When the United House of Prayer, a large black landlord in Harlem, raises the rent on Freddy’s Fashion Mart, Freddy’s white Jewish owner is forced to raise the rent on his subtenant, a black-owned music store. A landlord-tenant dispute ensues; Sharpton uses it to incite racial hatred. “We will not stand by,” he warns malignantly, “and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business.” Sharpton’s National Action Network sets up picket lines; customers going into Freddy’s are spat on and cursed as “traitors” and “Uncle Toms.” Some protesters shout, “Burn down the Jew store!” and simulate striking a match. “We’re going to see that this cracker suffers,” says Sharpton’s colleague Morris Powell. On Dec. 8, one of the protesters bursts into Freddy’s, shoots four employees point-blank, then sets the store on fire. Seven employees die in the inferno.

Maybe something like this happened around David Duke. I would love to hear about it. But as a New Yorker, I know about the time these things happened around Sharpton.

Sharpton is the David Duke of New York City except his hate isn’t theoretical. There are actual corpses. And he isn’t a pariah. Every Democratic presidential candidate comes down to kiss his ring.

Obama and Holder have both spoken at Sharpton events. As a Jewish person, I take that far more seriously than a GOP congressman appearing at a David Duke event.

I don’t believe Duke actually got around to fulfilling his dream of killing Jews. Al Sharpton has already lived the dream.

Ambush attacks increased the most, from 5 last year to 15 this year.

The #BlackLivesMatter crowd, when it isn’t killing cops, is screaming that the police are committing genocide. The reality however is that the police are the ones under fire.

Shooting deaths of members of the U.S. law-enforcement community spiked by 56 percent in 2014 over last year, including more than a dozen ambush attacks against officers, according to new data released Tuesday — on a week that will be bookended by funerals for slain cops.

The rise in police fatalities is marked by a year of nationwide protests after incidents of unarmed black men dying at the hands of white officers.

Overall, 126 officers — at “federal, state, local, tribal and territorial” levels — were killed in the line of duty, a 24 percent uptick from 102 deaths last year, according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

In the shooting deaths, so-called ambush attacks increased the most, from 5 last year to 15 this year.

A few things…

1. Ambush attacks are usually rare and a different species from normal cop killings. They are often political.

2. Until the murder of two New York cops this phenomenon got very little attention from the same media that was hard at work turning Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and Eric Garner into martyrs

3. A sizable upturn in police deaths is a grim statistic because it indicates a violent explosion happening underneath no matter what the crime rate stats say. It shows the rise of a different breed of criminal/terrorist.

“He was very unhappy with the censure and wanted to make sure it never happened again”

McCain is busy with two wars. He’s fighting to help Muslim terrorists in Syria and to hurt conservatives in Arizona. And he’s using some dubious methods to do it.

As the longtime Republican senator lays the groundwork for a likely 2016 reelection bid, his political team is engaging in an aggressive and systematic campaign to reshape the state GOP apparatus by ridding it of conservative firebrands and replacing them with steadfast allies…

The ambitious effort — detailed to POLITICO by nearly a dozen McCain operatives, donors, and friends — has stretched from office buildings in Alexandria, Virginia, where strategists plotted and fundraisers collected cash for a super PAC, to Vietnamese-American communities across Arizona, where recruiters sought out supporters eager to help the incumbent defeat the tea party.

If McCain had put in as much effort into running for president as he did in fighting conservatives, he would have been in the White House.

Until this year, however, McCain aides had never seriously considered a concerted effort to remake the state GOP apparatus, which has traditionally been dominated by his conservative antagonists. That changed after the January censure, which rapped the senator for having an insufficiently conservative record that was “harmful” to Arizona.

“He was very unhappy with the censure and wanted to make sure it never happened again,” said Mike Hellon, McCain’s deputy campaign manager in 2010.

In the days after the state party’s rebuke, a group of top McCain political hands, including Jon Seaton and Christian Ferry — who worked for McCain in his 2008 campaign and have remained with him since — hatched a plan to form a super PAC that would spend money to elect a more friendly slate of precinct committeemen.

The super PAC, which was based out of offices in the Washington, D.C., suburbs and Phoenix and given the generic name “Arizona Grassroots Action PAC,” raised nearly $300,000. The largest checks, according to contribution reports, came from Gregory Maffei, a Colorado businessman, and Gregory Wendt, a San Francisco-based financial adviser, both longtime McCain donors.

That’s part of the story. Here’s the rest of it.

Greg Wendt and Lisa Wendt of San Francisco, CA (generous benefactors of the Democrat Party and its candidates) gave over 40% of the funds for Grassroots Arizona; a PAC set up to target the Republican chairman of legislative district 11.

Greg and Lisa have been very generous to Democrats. Greg has donated to such people as Ron Wyden, Max Cleland, Barack Obama, Diane Feinstein, and Claire McCaskill, among many other Democrats.

This story dates back to 2006, because despite Politico’s McCain puff piece, he’s been at this for a while. Wendt’s donations are on the unusual side. He donated to Obama’s senate campaign and to Ted Cruz’s senate campaign. He donated to Barbara Feinstein and Kelly Ayotte. He donated to Act Blue and Freedom First. And he is a steady McCain donor. Presumably there is some kind of interest there.

McCain’s other big donor for remaking the Arizona GOP is also out of state. Greg Maffei is from Colorado and while he is a steadier Republican donor (though he also donated to Democrats like Maria Cantwell, Salazar and Jay Rockerfeller) and he’s also a pal of Colorado gun control governor Hickenlooper.

And responsible for $100K of McCain’s anti-Tea Party war chest. That was his biggest donation of the campaign cycle.

There’s something obviously slimy about a powerful senator using out of state money to try and purge local critics in his own party. It’s anti-democratic and exactly the kind of thing that McCain, who claimed to be for campaign finance reform, was expected to oppose.

Except he’s been doing it for a while.

This is the problem with McCain. He’s not only a liberal Republican, but he’s vindictive and ethically challenged. He doesn’t seem to represent Arizona. He represents a handful of wealthy out of state donors trying to manufacture voters still willing to blindly pull the lever for him.

Out in Arizona, the McCain forces, led by Seaton, set out to find would-be candidates for the precinct committee positions, many of them citizens with little or no political experience. They conferred with the establishment-aligned Chamber of Commerce and held recruitment house parties.

They also found a well of interest among Vietnamese-Americans, a small but politically active community which has long treated McCain, a Vietnam veteran who spent more than five years as a prisoner of war, as an ally; as a senator, he’s taken up the cause of the country’s refugees. More than 50 individuals of Vietnamese descent signed up to run for the precinct slots, and won.

One of the victors was Kevin Dang, the president of the Vietnamese Community of Arizona. Vietnamese-Americans had been motivated to run, Dang said, because of the attacks against McCain, which the community regarded as “disgraceful and discreditable.”

So they’re basically McCain’s Diem regime. Looks like he hasn’t learned anything from history.

ObamaCare contains provisions that punish smokers, but as usual the laws don’t apply to those who make them.

Unlike drug addicts, alcoholics, or the obese — all of whom represent higher-than-average medical costs — smokers are the only such group with a pre-existing condition that ObamaCare penalizes. It allows insurance companies to charge smokers up to 50 percent more than non-smokers for an identical policy, depending on the state and any subsidies the person might qualify for.

But Obama didn’t screen out his fellow smokers from high premiums, the way he screened out his fellow cocaine users. Still ObamaCare doesn’t apply to him. And he had so much contempt for the while topic that when plotting “healthcare reform” with Jonathan “Stupid Americans” Gruber, he was taking smoking breaks.

Then-Senator Barack Obama took a cigarette break during his first “educational” meeting with Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber on health care reform.

“And I just felt a more relaxed around — Obama was a little more relaxed,” Gruber said. “I think he took a cigarette break halfway through. That is back when he was smoking a lot. He would check his BlackBerry occasionally.”

It’s lucky for Obama that he doesn’t have ObamaCare.

The blue flu is starting to take off, but in a way that hits the city coffers, rather than crime victims.

With cops on edge following the assassination of two patrol officers on a Brooklyn street, many officers have started turning a blind eye to some minor crimes, sources told The Post, while a union mandate that two patrol cars respond to all police calls has led to slower response times to non-emergencies.

“I’m not writing any summonses. Do you think I’m going to stand there so someone can shoot me or hit me in the head with an ax?” One cop said Sunday, referring to the Dec. 20 slayings and another recent attack on the NYPD.

“I’m concerned about my safety,” the cop added. “I want to go to home to my wife and kids.”

An NYPD supervisor noted, “My guys are writing almost no summonses, and probably only making arrests when they have to — like when a store catches a shoplifter.”

Cops don’t much like writing them to begin with. But summons revenues brought in $9 million last year. A lot of these don’t come through the NYPD, but there’s no doubt that it hits the bottom line.

After getting hammered over “Broken Windows” policing, the NYPD is pulling out and costing De Blasio money that he needs to fulfill his big progressive plans. The main victims will be small business owners which means that the issue will be passed on to associations and will come to haunt De Blasio. In the long run, creeping blight will hurt the city and New Yorkers in general, but the NYPD is demonstrating what turning back the clock on the city would look like.

"An Israeli withdrawal from land will lead to the establishment of a terrorist state.”

Peace Now is one of the manifestations of the pro-terrorist left, wrapping its agenda in claims that it only wants to force Israel to make peace. Now one of its former figures has shot down the claim that Israel is refusing to make peace.

Dr. Anat Roth used to be an activist with the leftist Peace Now organization and an advisor to former Labor leaders Ehud Barak and Amram Mitzna, but now has had a “change of heart”.

According to Dr. Roth, “The Labor movement and the Israeli left have stocks in the creation of Israel and the Zionist enterprise, but the facts have changed and reality has set in, and the Labor party cannot handle them. The last decade shows us that the desire for peace was and remains a thing of the Israeli side only, and that the processes in the Palestinian Authority and around us show that an Israeli withdrawal from land will lead to the establishment of a terrorist state.”

“Jewish Home is the only party that is correctly reading the map and the processes that take place around us, and is not selling illusions to the public. It connects between secular and religious, and not just talks about unity, but works to strengthen our common ground, our connection to Israel and the Israeli and Jewish and Zionist identity among the people,” said Dr. Roth.

Anat Roth is a somewhat interesting figure. Her work is still cited by Peace Now and allied lefties looking to attack Jews living in ’67 Israel, but after the Disengagement she served as a major witness testifying about Olmert’s brutal violence in Amona.

And after extensively interviewing Jews living in ’67 Israel and experiencing the Disengagement, her views seem to have shifted.

“I saw things that I could not understand,” she said, recalling the fight against the disengagement. “I saw a stricken and humiliated population behaving with restraint, and instead of getting into conflict with the police officers who had been sent to harm all it held dear, it called them ‘my brothers.’ There was a 180-degree gap between the theories in the research literature produced since Rabin’s assassination and the reality. All the theories collapsed during the disengagement. No violence broke out.” The result was her book “Not At Any Price” (Hebrew; Yedioth Ahronoth Books) — a work that is fascinating, enriching and chilling.

Roth was raised on the ideology of the Labor Party. In the past she had worked for prominent Labor figures like Ehud Barak, Amram Mitzna and Matan Vilnai. During the protest, she was “captive” to the constant stream of media reports on the latest developments. At the time, she equated the situation to a standoff between two armies, just waiting for the opening salvo that would start the battle.

“The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife,” she said. “I was certain that the clash would erupt at any moment, but to my immense astonishment, I saw the battered, humiliated demonstrators hugging soldiers, displaying superhuman restraint and obeying their leadership, albeit in shock and pain. Two days later, everything dissipated. People went back home.”

“During those 48 hours in Kfar Maimon, it hit me like a bolt of lightning,” Roth says. “I promised myself that I would solve the riddle.”

A more prominent example would be Yuval Steinitz.

Finally Axelrod is putting to use the finely honed skills he used to defend the administration to defend cop killers and their enablers.

Former Obama adviser and MSNBC political analyst David Axelrod said on “Andrea Mitchell Reports” Monday that the “chief provocation” of cop killer Ismaaiyl Brinsley was a video of “an unarmed man being choked to death,” not protesters or New York Mayor Bill de Blasio.

“To suggest that it has been the protests or the mayor’s words and not a videotape of an unarmed man being choked to death by police officers, as the chief provocation for the protest and the act that we saw, is really unfair and untoward. We need to confront these issues. The police need us to confront these issues, the community need to confront these issues, which as I pointed out have been long standing. And to politicize them is unfortunate, I think.”

If you leave a trail of breadcrumbs to try and find your way through that forest of hypocrisy and lies, you come up with Axelrod claiming that it’s unfair to politicize the murder of cops by an anti-police #BlackLivesMatter protester even as he politicizes them to blame the police and to push Holder’s national conversation line.

Also by now everyone except David Axelrod and Ron Paul know that Eric Garner wasn’t choked to death. Just like Michael Brown didn’t have his hands up and Trayvon Martin wasn’t a sweet little boy going to visit grandma’s house while carrying a few snacks. Those myths are as dead as Rolling Stone’s UVA story but Axelrod’s kind never admit that their propaganda has fallen apart.

Not only is radical leftist mayor Bill de Blasio unpopular with current cops, but he’s even unpopular with the next generation of police officers.

New York’s Mayor Bill de Blasio was greeted with boos and catcalls at a graduation ceremony for new police officers today where he told the cadets they can be “part of the solution.”

At one point de Blasio told the cadets, “You didn’t create problems,” and someone in the crowd shouted audibly “No, you did!” The recruits were stoic.

There’s the solution. De Blasio created the problem. The problem will go away once he goes the way of his old boss David Dinkins.

This is what Obama's idea of immigration reform looks like and it's open borders with a vengeance.

Obama’s amnesty created a massive border surge of illegal aliens. While he claimed that they would be deported, they are, unsurprisingly, not being deported.

Of the 15,614 families caught crossing the border, but not detained, 4,197 have been ordered removed from the U.S. However, 96 percent of those removal orders were done “in absentia.”

The EOIR [Executive Office of Immigration Review] states an “in absentia” order is done when a person fails to show in immigration court.

Out of the 1,428 families caught crossing the border and detained, 21 have been ordered removed. Forty-three percent of these orders were done “in absentia.”

Of the 13,425 unaccompanied children caught crossing the border between July and October, 1,671 have been ordered removed from the U.S. Ninety-two percent of these orders were done “in absentia.”

Even the illegal border crossers that have deportation orders, since 92 percent of them were released the vast majority never even bothered to show up in court. The relatively low number of in absentia deportations for ‘families’ suggests that they have serious legal representation which means that these deportation orders are likely to end up coming to nothing once the lawyers have pressed hard enough.

So not even 1 percent of the border crossers will be deported. That’s a genuinely broken system and Obama broke it. Helping him break it were Republican amnesty promoters who sent the signal that the GOP was weak on the issue and wouldn’t stand up to Obama.

This is what Obama’s idea of immigration reform looks like and it’s open borders with a vengeance.

Good news. There’s a turning point in the war. Just like the last four times Obama pretended to withdraw from somewhere.

Marking what he called a “turning point” for the U.S. military, President Barack Obama on Monday saluted troops returning from Afghanistan and declared the United States is moving past the time for large deployments aimed at nation building.

Obama noted that nearly 180,000 troops were deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan when he took office, and that number will be down to less than 15,000 at the end of the month.

“The time of deploying large ground forces with big military footprints to engage in nation building overseas, that’s coming to an end,” the commander in chief said in a speech to 3,000 at New Jersey’s Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, a launching point for deployments to Afghanistan.

So US troops will be staying on in Afghanistan past Obama’s old deadline. US troops are coming back to Iraq after Al Qaeda got its own country after his last withdrawal.

And Obama is trying to spin all that as a victory.

It’s a turning point when you win. Losing more people in Afghanistan than Bush did and then trying to claim that your partial withdrawal is a great achievement is low even for Obama.

Having to go back into Iraq and then patting yourself on the back for having reached a turning point because your boots on the ground aren’t officially there is cynical even for Obama.

Staffers in the Washington bureau were under pressure to book minorities on their shows

Comcast is widely considered the worst company in America. Certainly the worst cable company in America. And yet its CEO golfs with Obama and NBC is willing to tell any lie to help his administration.

but just how low down did Comcast go when it was trying to merge with NBC? As low as the gutter.

Between 2008 and 2010, Comcast’s corporate foundation donated more than $3 million to 39 minority groups that wrote letters to federal regulators in support of the NBC deal. Comcast and NBC Universal also worked out an agreement with advocacy groups guaranteeing increased “minority participation in news and public affairs programming”—so long as the deal went through. And in 2009 and 2010, Comcast gave $155,000 to an organization founded by the Reverend Al Sharpton, who ended up endorsing the merger.

…At MSNBC, which Comcast also owns, Sharpton landed a talk show. A spokeswoman for Comcast says the company is a “long-standing supporter” of minority groups and had nothing to do with Sharpton’s hiring.

Because Sharpton got the gig on talent.

Staffers in the Washington bureau were under pressure to book minorities on their shows so Comcast and NBC could make good on their promises to civil-rights groups. Employees compiled data on the ethnic makeup of on-air guests to ensure they were in compliance, according to a person familiar with this research. While more diversity on television is, of course, a good thing, this corporate edict had less to do with making high-quality TV than with pleasing the institutions journalists are supposed to be out covering.

One of the dirty little secrets of the big communications mergers and buys is how they used minority groups to approve and support the deals, particularly the always-for-sale Congressional Black Caucus.

One such merger was behind the rise of America’s dumbest Congresswoman, Sheila Jackson Lee.

AT&T has poured money into Sheila Jackson Lee’s campaign chest and cut six figure checks to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation and the Congressional Black Caucus Political Education and Leadership Institute. In return the CBC endorsed the AT&T and T-Mobile merger, along with the Communications Workers of America, which is also a Jackson Lee donor. An added bonus to the merger will be AT&T’s unionization of T-Mobile’s workforce, with the dues kicked back to the campaigns of Democratic politicians.

Now that Comcast is trying to take over Time Warner, minority signatories are once again signing on to the creation of the worst cable company in the universe.

Obama golfs more than he does anything else so it’s only fitting that everyone should have to accommodate the emperor’s pastime.

Natalie Heimel and her fiancé, Edward Mallue Jr., a pair of captains in the Army, were walking from their wedding rehearsal on Saturday at the 16th tee box at Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course in Hawaii when they were informed they’d have to move their wedding, scheduled for the next day.

President Barack Obama wanted to play through.

“It was kind of ironic they got the letter from them and then, within hours, they were told they had to be moved due to him,” Jamie McCarthy, Mallue’s sister, said in an interview. “It was emotional, especially for her—she’s the bride and in less than 24 hours they had to change everything they had planned.”

Well this is what it’s like living in a monarchy. We all have to accommodate the ruler’s little pastimes. There’s no more equality. The rest of us are just peasants expected to knuckle our foreheads when the ruler rides through.

In 2011, a study claimed that losing weight could help save the planet from the Flying Global Warming Monster.

Being overweight is bad for the environment as well as your health, according to a study released today.

Researchers at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine found that overweight people were likely to be more responsible for carbon emissions than slim people because they consume more food and fuel.

We estimated that a 10 kg weight loss of all obese and overweight people would result in a decrease of 49.560 Mt of CO(2) per year, which would equal to 0.2% of the CO(2) emitted globally in 2007. This reduction could help meet the CO(2) emission reduction targets and unquestionably would be of a great benefit to the global health.

Science spoke. And only a bunch of ignorant mouth-breathing troglodytes who don’t follow Neil deGrasse Tyson on Twitter would dare to disagree.

But no wait. Apparently losing weight does cause Global Warming.

Despite a worldwide obsession with diets and fitness regimes, many health professionals cannot correctly answer the question of where body fat goes when people lose weight, a new study shows. The most common misconception among doctors, dieticians and personal trainers is that the missing mass has been converted into energy or heat. The correct answer is that most of the mass is breathed out as carbon dioxide and goes into thin air.

But wait. Obesity also causes Global Warming.

Expanding waistlines are not just tipping scales but may also push the mercury higher around the world, according to a new study.

As humanity becomes more rotund, more resources are needed to cool, nourish and transport the extra weight, a trend that can contribute to climate change by requiring the consumption of more fossil fuels and resulting in more greenhouse gas emissions.

Whether or not you lose weight, you’re destroying the planet… because you’ve alive. But let’s hear from other leading experts, like Hillary Clinton.

Speaking to State Department staff on Earth Day, Mrs Clinton said more must be done to reduce the department’s environmental footprint and conceded this was a big challenge, much like one of her personal battles.

“Often times when you face such an overwhelming challenge as global climate change, it can be somewhat daunting – it’s kind of like trying to lose weight, which I know something about,” she said to laughter.

But wait, Latino Fox News says Italian mountain goat-antelopes are losing weight because of Global Warming. So it’s all right then.

"As Ferguson burns, I hear the voice inside me chant, “Burn on...”

They want peace. No really. And the New York Times is just a dispassionate observer looking for reform and change. Not mass murder.

But Nicholas Kristof had one of his “Take the Mask Off Moments” when the radical left shows how ugly and unhinged it really is despite its facade of dinner parties and book clubs and that its media outlets promote violence.

And so he invited readers to send in poems about the usual stuff. Bunnies. Flowers. Killing all white people and burning America to the ground. And the emphasis was not on the bunnies and flowers.

Here’s a deranged screech of hate/incitement to violence that the leftist paper of record saw fit to run.

Angel Butts, a white woman married to a black man and the mother of “two beautiful brown babies,” said she hadn’t written a poem in 20 years.

Here’s what Angel Butts and Kristof had to offer.

And so, as Ferguson burns, I hear the voice inside me chant, “Burn on…”
Let the fires burn until every city, every town is on its knees.

Great plan. Why doesn’t Butts start with her house? Or the New York Times HQ. But of course it’s easy to cheer torching other people’s homes.

Kristof reminds us once again that the protests are as violent and bigoted as any Klan rally and that their supporters and cheerleaders are violent racists, thrilling to beating up convenience store workers and burning buildings.

That is what the left has always been. That is what it always is. That is why there is no living with the left. You can’t live with people whose idea of social justice is killing you and burning your house down.

Like so many of the violent leftists parading around with the #BlackLivesMatter gang, Angela Butts is a social sciences academic lecturing on Sociology at Rutgers and the College of State Island Is Rutgers aware of her support for violence and mass murder?

Samia Khan, said her brother is a devout Muslim.

A surprising amount of “Islamophobic” hate crimes, particularly those involving mosque vandalism, turn out to have been committed by Muslims.

A few days ago the media was trumpeting the latest Islamophobic hate crime. Even the FBI got involved.

Fresno police say a lone suspect vandalized the Islamic Cultural Center in Northeast Fresno on Christmas morning. Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer says it is clear the incident is a hate crime which is why the FBI is also investigating this case.

Seven doors and windows around the Islamic Cultural Center of Fresno are broken. Dyer says river rocks were tossed through them at 10 a.m. Christmas morning. Surveillance video shows the suspect pulling up in what appears to be a Toyota Prius and shattering the windows. Then he went inside.

I’m not sure why vandalism requires an FBI investigation, but Muslim privilege always comes first. And as in a number of previous cases, the perp turned out to be a member of the Religion of Peace.

The man who vandalized the Islamic Cultural Center on Christmas Day also vandalized and burglarized a business about two miles away because he thought he was getting back at the family of a girl who he believed had disrespected and bullied him, police said Saturday.

Asif Mohammad Khan, 28, who is Muslim, was arrested the day of the burglaries and vandalism at the Fresno Digestive Center, 7405 N. Fresno St., and the Islamic Cultural Center near Nees and Maple avenues.

Dyer said that in the days before the vandalism, Khan had posted on social media that Osama bin Laden was the “most inspirational person in his life.” He said Khan also made references to Adolf Hitler.

So obviously he’s crazy, is the story the cops and the media are going with. A Muslim who makes references to Osama bin Laden, pours bleach on an American flag, and thinks that a mosque isn’t Islamic enough… must be mentally ill. He can’t be a Jihadist.

Khan’s sister, Samia Khan, said her brother is a devout Muslim. He prays five times a day, but attends Friday prayers in a different mosque. She said her parents were “deeply sorry” for the damage.

So much for the hate crime and the FBI. But this will still be packaged into the total anti-Muslim hate crime stats to bulk them up.

Remember these are peaceful protesters who aren’t against the police, but just want more accountability. At least that’s what the media began telling us after two cops got shot.

Meanwhile here’s the real face of the violently racist #BlackLivesMatters crowd.

The most important part of the Sony story was never the identity of the hackers. It was how Sony, the media and major theater chains reacted.

If it turns out that the Sony hack was carried out by North Korea, Joe Biden in an Ambien daze, Koko the gorilla or a bored Sony employee, that will be significant to investigators, but it won’t change how major corporations allowed themselves to be bullied into pulling a movie from theaters based on some leaked emails and empty threats.

This isn’t a whodunit. It’s a whydidtheyreacthatway.

The Sony hack consisted of a typical media cycle in which the media first blew up a scandal, sourcing controversial material from the emails from clickhole sites like Buzzfeed and Gawker, taking private information that was illegally hacked and using it to accuse Sony execs of racism. This was behavior just as illegitimate as reprinting private celebrity photos in a previous Hollywood hack.

Once the mission had been accomplished, the media pivoted to calling Sony cowards for pulling The Interview and cheered its release.

This is a typical media scam in which the media creates a scandal and then creates a backlash to the scandal reporting.

But Sony did indeed allow itself to be bullied by a combination of viral stories and hacker threats. So did major theaters who are part of the ironically named NATO.

Paramount cut off attempts to screen Team America World Police.

The larger problem is that this was the tip of the iceberg. China had already bullied Hollywood into favorable portrayal in movies. North Korea was the only remaining safe enemy. Now that’s done too.

Hollywood acts tough when it comes to bashing America, but it’s afraid to take on any actual enemy nations. That’s what the Sony hack showed yet again.

America is less racially divided than ever. The economy is doing great. Unemployment is over. And we’re going to the moon. Any day now.

NPR released quote excerpts of an interview set to air on “Morning Edition” starting Monday, including one in which host Steve Inskeep asked if the country is more racially divided now compared to when Obama took office six years ago.

“No,” the president answered. “I actually think that it’s probably in its day-to-day interactions less racially divided.”

Polls show otherwise, but Obama trumps facts, polls and even the laws of physicists. Anyone who disagree is racist.

But Obama does face a paradox. His protectors have to blame racism for all the disagreement and criticism. But then Obama can’t actually concede that the country now polls more racially divided, so he instead has to claim that despite all the racism, it’s less racist than ever.

It’s kind of like how the Communists always insisted that things were getting and worse at the same time.

Obama whipped up racism for voter turnout. His administration has spent more time race baiting than doing just about anything else. It’s why the country polls as so racially divided. His Attorney General mocks Americans as a nation of cowards on race. But Obama has to avoid taking the blame by claiming that things are getting better while hedging on daily interactions so that his DOJ is still free to run its racist witch hunts.

The official paper of treason never rests.

Even by New York Times standards, Rukmini Callimachi’s article, “The Cost of the U.S. Ban on Paying for Hostages” is a mess, stumbling as it tries to somehow sell its completely unacceptable agenda.

Instead of coming right out and saying, “The US should pay ransom money to terrorists”, Rukmini dances around by claiming that the FBI and State Department didn’t pay much attention to information about hostage locations. This may or may not be true, but it’s irrelevant to his thesis.

It takes pages until the rotten thesis at the heart of the piece is reached.

Relatives of the victims, as well as retired law enforcement officials who oversaw hostage negotiations under previous administrations, say the post-9/11 policy has meant not just that the government will not pay cash to kidnappers, but that it will not participate in any negotiations. Critics argue that this runs counter to longstanding instructions in the F.B.I.’s operations manual, which provides guidance on how agents can help families pay private ransoms.

They say, moreover, that the way the policy is currently applied is at odds with a classified 2002 presidential directive that allows the government to pay ransoms in special cases, so long as the money is used as a lure to catch the perpetrators, according to two officials who were involved in drafting the order.

1. Conventional kidnappers are not enemy forces at war with the United States. Paying the money will not finance the next 9/11

2. The ransoms are paid in cases where it can be used to catch the terrorists

Retired officials with decades of experience in hostage negotiations said there were a number of tools short of paying ransoms that Washington could have tried. For example, officials could have asked a third country to intervene, a role that Qatar often plays, or used diplomatic channels to push for an exchange of prisoners held elsewhere. France successfully persuaded Mali this month to free four members of Al Qaeda’s North African branch in return for the French hostage Serge Lazarevic.

Pressing another country to release Al Qaeda terrorists is the equivalent of us releasing Al Qaeda terrorists. The only difference is plausible deniability.

Another possibility would have been to allow the hostages’ families to pay ransoms themselves, as was the norm through the early 2000s, according to two former F.B.I. officials. Instead, the family members of the four Americans say they were told they could be prosecuted if they paid.

Paying ransoms to terrorists endangers Americans by making them an even bigger kidnapping targets and finances terrorist operations.

You’re not allowed to send money to terrorists for really obvious reasons, no matter what the justification is.

The New York Times fails to acknowledge this obvious problem. Instead it continues acting as if the US is being irrationally stubborn by refusing to help fund terrorists.

Soon after the failed American raid in July, one fighter said, the Islamic State sent an envoy named Sheikh Abdullah al-Jarrah al-Nasir to Gaziantep over the summer with a letter authorizing him to negotiate on behalf of the group. The rebel, who asked not to be named, brought the sheikh here to see an American intelligence official whom he knew only as Darren. He said he was not sure if this was the official’s real name.

“I met Darren, and he came out, but he refused to meet Sheikh Abdullah,” the fighter said. “I told him, ‘The sheikh is here to negotiate.’ Darren blamed me and said, ‘We don’t meet with terrorists.’ I told him, ‘If you don’t meet with ISIS and deal with them as a state, this will end very badly.’ ”

The mistake here was letting the Sheikh leave.

The funeral for slain NYPD officer Rafael Ramos was big because it drew police officers from around the country who feel threatened and endangered by the endorsement of the racist Brown/Garner mobs by progressive politicians like Obama and De Blasio.

And for the same reason it attracted high ranking liberal politicians from Governor Andrew Cuomo to Joe Biden looking to wash off some of the blood from their political movement.

While some police officers applauded Commission Bratton, Biden and Cuomo, they weren’t willing to accept belated pandering from the man who had most directly put them in danger.

Officers outside chatted and generally ignored the eulogy until de Blasio began to speak in Spanish, which prompted snickers.

After the funeral, about a hundred police officers, firefighters and others who had stood vigil for Ramos made their way to Teedee’s Tavern, about two blocks from the church.

A firefighter hopped up onto at table, beer in one hand, and a camera in the other, taking pictures of the packed bar.

“Here’s to Ramos! Here’s to the NYPD!” he shouted, to the cheers of those assembled.

“And f- -k deB lasio!” he added, raising a raucous response from the crowd.

A block from the church, though, retired NYPD Officer John Mangan held a sign that read: “God Bless the NYPD. Dump de Blasio.”

The execution of Ramos and Liu as they sat in their patrol car in Brooklyn sparked a tidal wave of anger toward the mayor from the city’s cops, who turned their backs to him as he walked through a hospital corridor last Saturday night after visiting the officers’ grieving families.

Earlier that night, when de Blasio approached a group of NYPD’s Finest and said, “We’re all in this together,” a stone-faced officer replied, “No, we’re not.”

Things got so heated in the weeks leading up to the killings of Ramos and Liu, the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association’s demanded that de Blasio stay away from the funerals of officers cut down in the line of duty — a request the mayor did not oblige.
