"The legitimate president is Dr. Mohamed Morsi, and anyone who goes out [to protest]... their killing is permissible. If some of you are killed by them, you will go to Paradise."
When Obama visited Cairo, in the speech that would come to be seen as a prelude for overthrowing Mubarak and replacing him with the Islamist Anti-American dictatorship of Mohammed Morsi, he said in his speech, "As a student of history, I also know civilization's debt to Islam. It was Islam – at places like Al-Azhar University – that carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe's Renaissance and Enlightenment."
No doubt Barack Hussein Obama, Caliph of the Al-Amiriki tribe, will be thrilled to know that Al-Azhar, famous for its infamous fatwas, will now effectively be acting as Egypt's Islamic Supreme Court.
A new article states that Egypt's most respected Islamic institution, Al-Azhar, must be consulted on any matters related to Shariah, a measure critics fear will lead to oversight of legislation by clerics.
This is one step away from a full-on, Guardianship of the Clerics, in the Iranian style. Since Sharia encompasses nearly every area of life, Al-Azhar's mad clerics are now in charge of Egypt's laws.
And here are some of the fatwas from the wacky Al-Azhar gang who are still carrying "the light of learning" that the Dog-Eater-in-Chief has found so enlightening.
the Egyptian Parliament is now discussing a fatwa from an Al-Azhar cleric that aims to circumvent the prohibition on a male and a female who are not married to each other from working together in private. All she has to do, you see, is suckle him. Then he becomes her foster child, and they can be together without a chaperone.
In 2012, Dr. Abdul Hamid al-Atrash, the head of the Fatwa Committee of Al Azhar in Egypt, which issues rulings of Islamic law, declared that Jews could be banned from going to pray in a synagogue.
But there's one Al Azhar Fatwa that is bound to be especially popular with Obama's newly minted pharaoh, Mohammed Morsi.
Egyptian cleric Hashem Islam, a member of the Al-Azhar Fatwa Committee, issued a fatwa against potential demonstrators
The legitimate president is Dr. Mohamed Morsi, and anyone who goes out [to protest] on August 24 will be revolution against the January 25 Revolution, and will be committing the crimes of hiraba and high treason against the country, against Allah, against his messenger, and against the believers.
Therefore, I convey the following fatwa to the Egyptian people: Confront these people, and if they fight you, fight them. Oh people of Egypt, confront these people, and if they fight you, fight them. If some of you are killed by them, you will go to Paradise, and if you kill them, no "blood money" will be warranted, because their killing is permissible.
You can see why Morsi would want these guys in charge of the legal system. The question is what is Obama's justification for wanting Morsi in charge of Egypt?
