Its largest employer is Wal-Mart. This is not what a recovery looks like. This is what a bad economy consolidating and adapting to a state of decline looks like.
And once ObamaCare fully kicks in, the temp agency may pass Wal-Mart considering how many businesses will be relying on temps.
Behind Wal-Mart, the second-largest employer in America is Kelly Services, a temporary work provider.
Friday’s disappointing jobs report showed that part-time jobs are at an all-time high, with 28 million Americans now working part-time. The report also showed another disturbing fact: There are now a record number of Americans with temporary jobs.
Approximately 2.7 million, in fact. And the trend has been growing.
And a large portion of that 2.7 million is likely under thirty or forty which means that we're seeing another shift in employment with permanent jobs declining and temp jobs on the rise as companies dump their employees onto the government.
This is actually the case in some parts of Europe where young people can only get temp jobs.
