Does anyone even watch CNN anymore?
After the RNC threatened to boycott NBC and CNN over their Hillary propaganda projects, CNN replied in the most predictable way possible.
CNN Films, a division of CNN Worldwide, commissioned a documentary about Hillary Clinton earlier this year. It is expected to premiere in 2014 with a theatrical run prior to airing on CNN. This documentary will be a non-fiction look at the life of a former First Lady and Secretary of State.
...who happens to be running for president.
It's also CNN's first film about a political candidate.
Instead of making premature decisions about a project that is in the very early stages of development and months from completion, we would encourage the members of the Republican National Committee to reserve judgment until they know more.
Reserve judgement about what?
CNN is making a movie about a 2016 presidential candidate. It doesn't appear to be doing that favor for any of the other candidates.
The project is being produced by a Hillary backer from a family close to the Clintons.
How much judgement is left to reserve? Unless this thing turns out to be an animated cartoon about field mice, we're done here.
Should they decide not to participate in debates on CNN, we would find it curious, as limiting their debate participation seems to be the ultimate disservice to voters.
What's so curious about it?
Do voters really need another 15 minutes of John King coughing? And does anyone even watch CNN anymore? Maybe if the debate was on HLN and was moderated by Nancy Grace shrieking bizarre accusations at the candidates, people would watch. And if instead of a debate, it was a murder trial.
CNN needs a debate more than any debate needs CNN.
