Bomb Goes Off at Egyptian Mission in Benghazi

Benghazi is notorious for attacks targeting diplomatic missions.

That certainly sounds familiar. Benghazi is notorious for attacks targeting diplomatic missions. One reason why Hillary's decision to deny the American mission there proper security was an act of criminal proportions.

Since Benghazi is run by Islamist militias, the rest follows. Some of those militias, like the one that was hired to protect the American mission, have Muslim Brotherhood ties.

Last year the Tunisian consulate was hit because of Islamic Artophobia. Now the Egyptians got hit for entirely obvious reasons.

A small explosion rocked the Egyptian consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi on Saturday, blowing out its windows and those of adjacent buildings, witnesses said.

A policeman at the scene said an Egyptian security guard was injured in the explosion, apparently caused by a small bomb hidden in a briefcase. At least five cars were damaged, a Reuters witness said.

Police closed off the area and were collecting evidence.

The impressive thing is that Benghazi actually got the police to show up and that the Egyptians, unlike Clinton's diplomats, had their own security.
