Immigration from Somalia just got even more horrifying
The unnamed girl was brought to the UK from Somalia with the intention of removing her organs and selling them on to those desperate for a transplant.
Child protection charities warned that the case was unlikely to be an isolated incident as traffickers were likely to have smuggled a group of children into the country.
The case emerged in a government report which showed that the number of human trafficking victims in the UK has risen by more than 50 per cent last year and reached record levels.
That's one of the "benefits" of an immigration policy oriented toward parts of the world where human slavery still exists. Am I exaggerating? No.
The details were published on Anti-Slavery Day, as the government announced tough new sentencing plans for traffickers, under which offenders who already have a conviction for a serious sexual or violent offence will get an automatic life sentence.
The measure will be included in the Modern Slavery Bill, which was unveiled by Home Secretary Theresa May at the Conservative Party conference last month.
It's not Modern Slavery. The only modern thing about it is that people from the non-modern world are entering the modern world and bringing slavery with them.
