Chris Matthews Accuses Ted Cruz of Racism Against "Brown People"

Matthews not only made up a racism accusation out of thin air, but accused a Latino senator of being racist against "Browns".

Why does this man hate Latinos? Why does this man hate Latinos?

Chris Matthews is a fat white man who is an expert on racism. Like an 1880s gold prospector, Matthews can find racism anywhere. Sometimes he just spends hours in the frozen foods aisle randomly pointing at things and screaming "Racism!"

Now, fat, white Chris Matthews has discovered that Ted Cruz is racist against "Brown people". It would be unfair to point out that Ted Cruz is browner than Chris Matthews. Chalk is browner than Chris Matthews. Also smarter. And more capable of doing his job.

Still Matthews has once again achieved a critical triumph in critical race theory by not only manufacturing a racism accusation out of thin air, but accusing a Latino senator of being racist against "Brown people".

SENATOR TED CRUZ (R-TEXAS): Having spent the past month up in D.C., it is really great to be back in America. [Laughter and applause]

MATTHEWS: Howard Fineman’s editorial director of the Huffington Post, and David Corn is Washington Bureau chief for Mother Jones. Both are of course MSNBC political analysts.

Howard, this isn’t a casual reference. This “We’re Americans, we white people out here in Texas, as opposed to people who live in the big cities: the ethnics, the blacks, the browns. Those people in Washington, those liberals, they’re not Americans.”

Let's start with the obvious. Chris Matthews is insane.

At this point, he could just roll a clip of a Republican sneezing and launch into a five minute explanation of how racist the sneeze was.

Ted Cruz gave a usual opening remark that probably a hundred members of Congress from both parties gave when back in their home district. Hating on Washington is pretty standard, especially if you're trying to distinguish yourself from other politicians.

Chris Matthews, channeling a full barrel of crazy, announces that what Ted Cruz is really saying is that he hates black and brown people. Matthews appears to have forgotten that Ted Cruz is kinda "ethnic" himself and that Texas is probably more racially diverse than Matthews' neighborhood, but being a liberal who cries racism means never having to say you're sorry.

Cruz delivered his remarks in San Antonio. The 7th largest city in America with a population of 1.3 million. It's twice as big as Washington D.C. and more diverse. Matthews could have found that out in 2 seconds, but aside from being a crazy liar, he's also a plain old liar.

And then, to win the award for least self-awareness in all of human history, Matthews says, "This is McCarthyism writ large. Disagree with this guy and be prepared for the accusations."

Imagine that.
Disagree with Ted Cruz and he'll probably make some crazy McCarthyite accusation like calling you a racist for announcing that you hate Washington politics.
