Obama Says Putin is Weak, Agrees to Let Him Conquer Ukraine

Obama said the annexation of Crimea was an action taken “out of weakness.”

When Kerry declared that invading Eastern Ukraine would be a "hard line", it was as soft as the red line.

Obama doesn't have much bluffing power left, but announcing to Putin that whatever he does, we won't respond is stupid. At least maintaining ambiguity might have been a deterrent.

Now there is no deterrent except more empty talk about sanctions. The same sanctions that don't work and in this case can't work. It's as good as an announcement that Putin can do what he likes.

At this rate, why not just dismantle NATO and let Russia have its old empire back?

Obama said Wednesday that the U.S. would not take military action in Ukraine against Russia.

"We are not going to be getting into a military excursion in Ukraine,” Obama said in an interview Wednesday with KNSD, the NBC affiliate in San Diego.

"I think even the Ukrainians would acknowledge, for us to engage Russia militarily would not be appropriate and would not be good for Ukraine, either,” Obama added.

Yes, I'm sure they would absolutely hate to be saved from being conquered.

The Obama administration issued sanctions against 11 individuals from Russia and Ukraine on Monday in response to Russia’s military intervention, and Obama has indicated that further sanctions could be on the way.

And then we'll sanction 11 more. After a few million years, we'll have sanctioned everyone in Russia.

Obama dismissed the notion that Putin was acting “out of strength,” telling the San Diego station the annexation of Crimea was an action taken “out of weakness.”

Let's recap.

Putin conquers countries out of weakness. Obama is unable to stop him out of strength.

Peace is war. Slavery is freedom. Lies are truth.

Finally Obama has a new campaign song.
