And good riddance
And good riddance. It's bizarre that we have election monitors from countries with no legal elections that use the opportunity to lecture the United States on its elections.
The left specifically brings them in so that it can then have reports on hand about how racist and unfair American elections are from such noteworthy champions of fair elections as Russia, China and Syria.
Remember when the U.N. sent election monitors to 44 of our states to monitor our elections? They didn’t send the monitors to Iran or Russia or El Salvador, they sent them to the U.S. thanks in large part to hard left civil rights groups like the N.A.A.C.P. That group isn’t about “colored people” as much as it’s about the hard left.
Tennessee is fighting back according to the Knox Blogs. They have a bill – HB2410 – before the governor that is one sentence long: ”Any representative of the United Nations appearing without a treaty ratified by the United States Senate stating that the United Nations can monitor elections in this state, shall not monitor elections in this state.”
It was co-sponsored by Sen. Frank Niceley, R-Strawberry Plains and approved without debate 23-2. It has been sent to Gov. Bill Haslam for approval.
The bill is written so that Obama Inc. can't claim that it interferes with Federal authority. Let's see if the Federal courts leave this one alone.
