Libyan General: Muslim Brotherhood is the Driving Force Behind Extremists Arriving in Libya."

He called the Brotherhood a “malignant disease that is seeking to spread throughout the bones of the Arab world”.

General Khalifa Hifter, a Libyan general formerly aligned with the US, has taken control of much of Libya's military and is fighting Islamic militias, including Ansar Al-Sharia in Benghazi which was responsible for the attack on the US diplomatic mission.

He has also made it clear that he's not a fan of the Muslim Brotherhood, stating that he had arrested dozens of insurgents who had received fake passports from the Brotherhood.

A retired Libyan general has said he wants to cleanse Libya of the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist radicals.

Khalifa Haftar blamed them for widespread lawlessness in the country.

The operation, dubbed Al-Karama (dignity), was launched because the "Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is the driving forces behind extremists arriving in Libya."

"This opened the eyes of Libyans," he added.

He called the Brotherhood a “malignant disease that is seeking to spread throughout the bones of the Arab world”.

And the Muslim Brotherhood has been trying to take over Libya. The Brotherhood's ghoulish madman Yusuf al-Qaradawi and Al Qaeda have responded the expected way.

Qatar-based Egyptian Muslim cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi has called on the Libyan people to resist renegade general Khalifa Haftar as his growing strength threatens to topple the government and send the North African country into a new era of military rule.

An Al Qaeda-inspired group in Libya said Monday it will fight troops loyal to a renegade general behind an attack on the country's parliament the day before and join forces with Islamic militias who were targeted by the general's secular followers.

The announcement by the influential Lions of Monotheism Group further adds to the quagmire in Libya, three years after the overthrow of dictator Moammar Gadhafi.

You can't add to a quagmire.
