After Harry Reid's Racist Jokes, Asian Chamber of Commerce Endorses Republican

He added he has problems "keeping my Wongs straight."

The Asian Chamber of Commerce should be happy that Biden or Hillary didn't come down there to make convenience store jokes. It could have been worse.

"The Asian population is so productive," Reid told the group. "I don't think you're smarter than anybody else, but you've convinced a lot of us you are."

He added after his remarks that he has problems "keeping my Wongs straight."

Harry Reid later apologized after it was explained to him that the Koch Brothers aren't Asian, but the damage was done.

The Asian Chamber of Commerce on Thursday endorsed Republican Mark Hutchison for lieutenant governor, spurning U.S. Sen. Harry Reid’s Democratic choice, Lucy Flores, after the senator spoke to the group.

Oddly racist jokes are not as endearing as Reid seems to think.
