Apparently stirring up a lynch mob leads to murder. Who knew that?

Who but the people who lived in the city during Sharpton’s reign of terror, who remember innocent men murdered in Crown Heights and at Freddy’s because Obama’s new best friend and Bill de Blasio’s unofficial Chief of Staff was trying to get rich and famous.

Now two cops are dead and the former commissioner is putting the blame exactly where it belongs.

Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik told Newsmax that Saturday’s execution-style shooting of two uniformed police officers was ultimately encouraged by Mayor Bill De Blasio and the Rev. Al Sharpton — and “they have blood on their hands.”

“De Blasio, Sharpton and all those who encouraged this anti-cop, racist mentality all have blood on their hands,” he said. “They have blood on their hands.”

“This guy’s intent — based on that Instagram post — was retribution for Eric Garner and Michael Brown,” he told Newsmax. “The people who encouraged these protests — you had peaceful protesters who were screaming ‘kill the cops’ — the so-called peaceful protesters.

“Who was encouraging these protesters? De Blasio, Sharpton and other elected officials and community leaders. They encouraged this mentality. They encouraged this behavior.

“They encouraged it — and these two cops are dead because of people like them,” Kerik said. “They don’t owe the cops an apology.

“An apology isn’t good enough. They have blood on their hands.”

I would add to that all the fake conservatives who cheered on the Garner mob on Twitter and in articles. I spoke out against these people from Day 1, most of whom have don’t live in urban area and have absolutely no clue of the real dynamics of a situation like this.

I don’t expect Sharpton or De Blasio to examine their consciences. They don’t have them. But it would be nice if some of the people on the right who jumped on the Garner case without having Clue 1 about it would consider the role they played in blowing it up.

That always works.

Sony’s film division was hit by a major hack, probably carried out by Chinese hackers on behalf of North Korea over an upcoming movie mocking the Communist dictatorship. The hack included large amounts of personal emails, including some of Sony boss Amy Pascal and producer Scott Rudin, both liberals and Dem donors, joking about which black movies Obama would like.

In real life this is about as offensive as gravy. In liberalville though this is a huge outrage because you can’t suggest that a black person might like black movies. It’s in some unclear way racist.

So now comes the mandatory apology tour beginning with a meeting (and probably payoffs) to an actual violent racist.

Embattled Sony chief Amy Pascal is due to meet with the Rev. Al Sharpton in person in New York…

Pascal made a call to Sharpton late last week after racist e-mails between herself and producer Scott Rudin about President Obama and what movies he might like were revealed as part of sensitive information released by hackers.

Sharpton said to Page Six exclusively:

‘“I told her how offended I was, I felt it was outrageous. She said it didn’t reflect her [true feelings]. I told her when you look at the lack of diversity in Hollywood, and her own company and the context and language [of the e-mails], how could I not feel offended?”’

Let’s compare the dreaded racist emails to Sharpton’s words.

Pascal wrote Rudin: “What should I ask the president at this stupid Jeffrey breakfast?” She was referring to a breakfast hosted by DreamWorks Animation head and major Democratic donor Jeffrey Katzenberg.

Rudin, a top film producer responsible for films like No Country for Old Men and Moneyball, responded, “Would he like to finance some movies.”

Pascal replied, “I doubt it. Should I ask him if he liked DJANGO?” Rudin responded: “12 YEARS.” Pascal quickly continued down the path of guessing Obama preferred movies by or starring African Americans. “Or the butler. Or think like a man? [sic]”

Rudin’s response: “Ride-along. I bet he likes Kevin Hart.”

Here’s a sample of Sharpton’s genuinely racist rhetoric.

White folks was [sic] in caves while we were building empires…. We taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and those Greek homos ever got around to it.

“We will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business.”

“If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.”

So Sony wants to whitewash offensive comments by meeting and probably funding a real racist. This is liberalism in a nutshell.

Rioting. Slander. The wanton personal destruction of people known by their accusers to be innocent.
TRANSCRIPT:

THE NEW BARBARISM

Hi everybody. I’m Bill Whittle and this is the Firewall.

In the aftermath of the acquittal of the police officer involved in the Michael Brown shooting, the town of Ferguson erupted into riots. Hardly surprising when the former Attorney General, Eric Holder – presumably fully informed of the same evidence that the Grand Jury saw before declining to press any charges against the officer – went all in and decided to literally make a Federal Case out of the incident. President Obama, prior to the decision, met with leaders of the so-called protest movement, telling them to stay the course – he too, needless to say, was fully informed about what actually happened that day on the streets of Ferguson and knew that an officer of the law was innocent. Lawlessness is nothing to these two reprehensible individuals. But power – power is everything. We’ll come back to them in a minute.

This case was manufactured from the ground up, by Holder, Obama, and other evil people, to hold political power. Stealing a television set does not undo injustice – not even a trumped-up one; walking out of a looted store is not a civil rights act. It’s lawlessness, it’s violence, it’s chaos and it’s brutality, and that’s all it is. It’s Barbarism. None of those peaceful protestors on that bridge in Selma Alabama were caught doing this:

((SURVVEILLANCE VIDEO))

shoving a small, innocent shopkeeper for having the impertinence to challenge Michael Brown’s casual barbarism, his theft of cigars; his wanton lawlessness. This isn’t Civil Rights. This is strong arm robbery.

And Michael Brown wasn’t shot for being black. He was shot because he attacked a police officer investigating that crime, tried to take his gun, and then charged him, head down, after being warned.

But the Barbarism and Lawlessness we saw on the streets of Ferguson, and all around the country, do not exist in a vacuum. They are not only tolerated by the by the left-wing leaders of the Democratic Party and the media-entertainment complex… they are encouraged by them.

Let’s start with Al Sharpton, one of the most vocal of those calling this a civil rights issue. Sharpton rose to national fame for his defense of Tawana Brawley, a 15 year old black woman who in 1987 accused law enforcement officials of raping her and stuffing her in a trash bag covered with racial slurs. Serial Rapist Bill Cosby helped raise money for her legal defense. Despite numerous inconsistencies, Al Sharpton made this an indictment of white America and law enforcements targeting of blacks.

Which would, indeed, be horrible. If it were… you know… actually true. But it wasn’t true. Brawley made up the story to avoid a beating from her mother. Despite the fact that she named and slandered an innocent man, Assistant DA Steven Pagones (who eventually was awarded $345,000 for defamation), in 1991Legal scholar Patricia j. Williams wrote that Brawley “has been the victim of some unspeakable crime. No matter how she got there. No matter who did it to her—and even if she did it to herself.”

We clear on that? Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School and current law professor at Columbia University, said that Tawana Brawley – who slandered an innocent man with the most vile charges imaginable to avoid a beating from her own mother – was not the perpetrator of an unspeakable crime, but the victim of one.

These are the new barbarians. Truth doesn’t matter. Law doesn’t matter. Individual lives do not matter. All that matters is Progressive politics, Progressive intimidation and Progressive power.

Just a few days ago, Brietbart reporter John Nolte traveled to Oberlin college to look into widely-read rape allegations on the part of Progressive darling Lena Dunham. Dunham, you may remember, was called on by Barack Obama personally to help get out the youth vote. Truth Revolt’s own Ben Shapiro published a withering critique of what is nothing but infant sexual molestation which Dunham brags about in her best-seller, “Not That Kind of Girl” – allegations utterly unremarked upon by Dunham’s admirers on the Left.

Nolte went to her Alma Mater, Oberlin College — which I can tell you from personal experience is where reason and logic go to die – to investigate Dunham’s claim that she was raped by a prominent Republican, the “campus’ resident Conservative,” a mustachioed man named “Barry” who wore purple cowboy boots, had a Barry White low voice, and hosted a radio show called Real Talk With Jimbo.

A search of school records showed only one person named Barry who was self-described as a Republican. He never wore a moustache, he never wore purple cowboy boots, he spoke in a normal voice, he was not the host of a talk show, he has never met Lena Dunham, but, like Steve Pagones, he feels he has been slandered in the most vicious way by a barbaric, cruel, deeply disturbed attention junkie.

How did Dunham, and Brawley, and millions of other New Barbarians get this way? They were taught, that’s how. While trying to find the identity of this famed mustachioed, purple-boot wearing, Conservative Republican Racist named Barry, John Nolte spoke with Sophie Hess, manager of the on-campus radio station, about searching the records for Real Talk with Jimbo.

When he explained that he was only searching for the truth, this college administrator suddenly turned cold and said, “Asking whether or not a victim is telling the truth is irrelevant. It’s just not important if they are telling the truth.” When Nolte explained he was simply trying to clear the name of an innocent man, this Progressive Barbarian retracted her offer to search the archives and asked him to leave.

George Santayana wrote, “In every generation we face a barbarian threat in our own children.” Not a threat TO our children. A threat FROM our children.

From the rioters on the street stealing car rims under the Progressively-sanctioned cover of so-called social justice; to inhuman attention-junkies who are perfectly happy to ruin the lives of people they perceive as political enemies, knowing full well they are innocent; through Leftist college professors who teach them that the truth and the law do not matter so long as the Progressive goals of identity politics are advanced; and right on up to the President and Attorney General, who use IRS intimidation of political enemies and simply dictate laws they cannot get passed – Progressivism is a philosophy of lawlessness, disregard for truth, contempt for individual lives and individual freedom. It is utter, total barbarism.

In this special episode, our politically correct host, Andrew Klavan, takes a look at the disturbing history of the Reverend Al Sharpton – called reverend because he is revered, by Al Sharpton. See the video and transcript below.

TRANSCRIPT:

I’m Andrew Klavan and this is the Revolting Truth.

Everywhere you look these days, there’s Al Sharpton… it’s strange, even after you wake up screaming, he’s still there. It’s like one of those Blumhouse movies. If he’s not in some city calling for protests because a cop killed a thug who was resisting arrest, he’s in some other city calling for protests because another cop killed another thug who was also resisting arrest. He’s even been meeting with Barack Obama as if the president of the United States were just some hapless loser who can’t find anyone else to talk to. So it’s about time we asked ourselves: who is Al Sharpton… and why?

Al Sharpton has dedicated his life to the improvement of the black man Al Sharpton.

He first flushed himself to fame in 1987, when a 15-year-old black girl named Tawana Brawley concocted a lie about being raped by a group of white men. Reverend Al Sharpton — called Reverend Al Sharpton because he’s revered by Al Sharpton — became one of Tawana’s so-called advisors. He falsely accused a young police officer of participating in the alleged rape, and after the already troubled officer committed suicide, Sharpton accused another man of murdering him to cover up the crime. Sharpton and his cronies organized daily protests using viciously inflammatory language – even though one of Sharpton’s top aides says Sharpton suspected all along Tawana’s story was false. Finally a Grand Jury investigation exposed the girl’s hoax, leaving Sharpton looking almost exactly like a race baiting charlatan.

Unless you happened to be a leftist or a journalist or some other sort of gullible buffoon. In that case, Al Sharpton was now a “black leader.” And sure enough, wherever a tragedy could be misconstrued as a case of racism, black leader Al was there leading blacks to false conclusions and violence.

There was Crown Heights Brooklyn for instance. When a black child was accidentally killed by a car driven by a Hassidic Jew there in 1991, a small gang of local blacks responded by murdering an innocent Jewish man. But that wasn’t good enough for Al. His furious rhetoric helped stir days of anti-Jewish riots in what’s been called one of the worst anti-semitic incidents in American history.

And Al wasn’t done. In 1995, he helped incite a vicious name-calling boycott of a Jewish storeowner in Harlem — and inspire protests that only ended when one of the protestors shot four whites in the man’s store and set the place on fire, killing seven workers, most of them Hispanic.

More recently, Sharpton has accused three white LaCrosse players from Duke University of raping a black girl, which they didn’t; made out that Trayvon Martin was the victim of a racist murder, which he wasn’t; and suggested Michael Brown was a gentle innocent shot dead by an evil cop — wrong again — and he managed to do it all while owing the government 4.5 million dollars in taxes.

Which brings us back to our original question: Why do corrupt, opportunistic knuckleheads get elevated to black leadership? Maybe that wasn’t our original question. I can’t remember. But I mean, you don’t see white people accepting leaders like this. If someone like Hillary Clinton had been shown to lie outright again and again about everything from her husband’s infidelities to being shot at in a war zone to the reasons behind the terrorist attack in Benghazi, would white people accept her as a leader? Okay, maybe that’s not a good example. Well, then, if Teddy Kennedy left his mistress to drown so he could fashion an alibi… Okay, wait. If fools like Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi…

Okay. Look, black people, the point is: don’t elevate demagogic flim-flammers to leadership in your community. Don’t be like white people. You’re better than that.

I’m Andrew Klavan with the Revolting Truth.

There’s a perception that Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are leaders of the black community. The reality is that nobody appointed them to be anything. They just come around when there’s a crisis and hog the spotlight.

Brown and Garner should have been Sharpton’s golden hour, but instead he was booed. Now he’s being booted from a funeral. (Warning: TMZ link)

The family of the man who was shot to death in Brooklyn by the NYPD wants Al Sharpton to mind his own business and stay away from the upcoming wake and funeral.

Gurley’s aunt, Hertenceia Peterson — who is speaking for his mom — tells TMZ, “Al Sharpton came in, put his name on the situation, but has not even made one single call to the parents to Akai.”

Peterson says all Sharpton sees “is money and political gain and that he is turning the tragedy into a circus.”

She says the family does NOT want Sharpton at Friday night’s wake, where the Rev has promised to deliver a eulogy. She also says he’s persona non grata at the funeral.

That isn’t going to stop Sharpton from going anywhere. The most dangerous place to be is between Sharpton and a camera. And yet it’s hard not to notice that Sharpton bought his legitimacy in the Democratic Party by becoming irrelevant.

Sharpton has no credibility with the violent protesters he used to control. Family members know that he’s in it for himself. His Cato eulogy helped lead to violent attacks on Jews. Whatever eulogy he gives now will lead to nothing because his relevance is gone.

Obama uses Sharpton but doesn’t let him call the shots. Bill de Blasio did and is starting to regret it.

Sharpton has become the new Jesse Jackson, he has cashed in and is seen as having sold out. Like Jackson, he’s stuck trying to gain relevance by becoming more inflammatory. But Sharpton can no more regain credibility in the black community than Jackson could.

Stoking the race riot flames.

A week after grand jurors in Ferguson, Mo., did their civic duty and resisted pressure from President Obama on down to lynch an innocent police officer, Al Sharpton and Ferguson riot leaders gathered at the White House yesterday to make plans to further exacerbate the racial tensions they created in order to cripple the economy and attack civil society.

These domestic subversives refuse to accept the official finding Nov. 24 that no probable cause existed to charge police officer Darren Wilson, who is white, in the Aug. 9 death of Michael Brown, who was black.

The finding of “no true bill” contradicts the Left’s preferred narrative that racist white cops are gunning down innocent blacks with impunity. The failure to indict Wilson, who has since resigned from the Ferguson police department, has driven left-wingers and racial grievance mongers into an exquisite state of apoplexy. They refuse to accept that the evidence considered by the grand jury overwhelmingly, indisputably demonstrated that Brown tried to seize Wilson’s gun in an attempt to do the officer harm. To put it more bluntly, there is proof that in their fateful 90-second encounter Brown tried to kill Wilson, even though the media has consistently identified Wilson as the aggressor.

But facts are rarely obstacles when left-wingers set their minds on something.

At the initial White House meeting of the Michael Brown truther brigade, Obama proceeded from the demonstrably false assumption that a tragic injustice was done to the late teenaged thug. The president said:

As I said last week in the wake of the grand jury decision, I think Ferguson laid bare a problem that is not unique to St. Louis or that area, and is not unique to our time, and that is a simmering distrust that exists between too many police departments and too many communities of color. The sense that in a country where one of our basic principles, perhaps the most important principle, is equality under the law, that too many individuals, particularly young people of color, do not feel as if they are being treated fairly.

To remedy this problem that was far less of a problem before Obama was inaugurated, the president announced he was appointing two left-wing establishment puppets to head a useless task force

to reach out and listen to law enforcement, and community activists and other stakeholders, but is going to report to me specifically in 90 days with concrete recommendations, including best practices for communities where law enforcement and neighborhoods are working well together — how do they create accountability; how do they create transparency; how do they create trust; and how can we at the federal level work with state and local communities to make sure that some of those best practices get institutionalized.

Even though there is no evidence of wrongdoing on the part of Darren Wilson, police officers are going to receive stricter scrutiny. Obama also proposed spending $263 million to put body cameras on cops.

Much of this soothing, focus group-tested Washington-speak sounds fairly innocuous until the guest list for the event is revealed. The same people who instigated the riots and looting in Ferguson were in attendance listening to the Community Organizer in Chief. Among the attendees were: Ashley Yates, Millennial Activists United; Rasheen Aldridge, Young Activists St. Louis; Brittany Packnett, St. Louis educator and activist; T-Dubb-O, St. Louis hip-hop artist; James Hayes, Ohio Students Association; Phillip Agnew, Dream Defenders; and Jose Lopez, Make the Road New York.

These people are the problem, not the solution. They had no business being at the table (but then again, neither does Obama).

Yates went so far as to go on record the month before the grand jury decision as saying violence would be a legitimate response to a non-indictment in the Darren Wilson case.

“If they can’t serve justice in this, the people have every right to go out and express their rage in a manner that is equal to what we have suffered,” Yates said at the time.

“We’re going to take our anger out on the people who have failed us, and if they are prepared to deal with that, then let them have at it,” he said.

New York’s radical mayor Bill de Blasio and Al Sharpton, whose racist, hate-filled rants have gotten Americans killed on more than one occasion, were also in attendance at the White House yesterday.

The day before, Sharpton was in Ferguson pledging more violent protests. “You won the first round, Mr. Prosecutor, but don’t take your gloves off,” Sharpton said. “Justice will come to Ferguson.”

“We’re not gonna stop marching and protesting until we do,” he said.

Sharpton isn’t even the most radical member of the leftist lynch mob screaming for Wilson’s blood.

The most explicit of the fire-breathing racist filth-purveyors in the Brown saga has to be professional white-hater and anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan. Before an audience at Baltimore’s Morgan State University he promised a violent uprising. If the demands of demonstrators who want Wilson dead are not met, “we’ll tear this goddamn country apart!”

Peaceful protests are only in the interest of “white folks,” said Farrakhan, who himself ought to be under constant FBI surveillance. “We going to die anyway,” he said. “Let’s die for something,” the Nation of Islam (NOI) head said to enthusiastic applause.

The parents of teenaged children need to show their kids how to lob Molotov cocktails, said Farrakhan, who is essentially the Islamic version of Obama’s longtime preacher Jeremiah Wright. “Teach your baby how to throw the bottle if they can. Fight,” he said, gesturing as if throwing an incendiary device.

Farrakhan said there is a “law of retaliation” in both the Bible and the Koran that demands the use of deadly force. “A law for retaliation,” he repeated while holding what appeared to be the NOI version of the Koran.

White Americans will only start taking black concerns seriously if blacks begin killing them, he said.

“As long as they [whites] kill us [blacks] and go to Wendy’s and have a burger and go to sleep, they’ll keep killing us,” said Farrakhan, who openly supports Islamic terrorist regimes abroad. “But when we die and they die, then soon we’re going to sit at a table and talk about it! We’re tired! We want some of this earth or we’ll tear this goddamn country up!”

Although President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder and their confederates in the media set the stage for the Ferguson-related civil unrest, publicly urging restraint and nonviolent protest on the one hand while claiming that police departments are hotbeds of racism that need to be reformed, Farrakhan attacked the two men for their perceived willingness to compromise.

Obama, Holder, and other black leaders show how out of touch they are with young blacks when they embrace what Farrakhan called “compromise.” By urging calm these leaders are betraying blacks and doing the bidding of “white people.”

“Tonight in Ferguson everybody is on edge,” Farrakhan said, implying the terror innocent citizens feel at the prospect of mob violence is a wonderful, useful thing.

In a way his comments echo those made a century earlier by Felix Dzerzhinsky, the founder of the Soviet secret police. “We stand for organized terror — this should be frankly admitted. Terror is an absolute necessity during times of revolution.”

Whatever makes whites nervous furthers the fundamental transformation of the United States, as the Left sees it.

“White folks have never been on edge after they killed a black man. Tonight they’re on edge; so on edge that our president has come out from behind the curtain to ask young black people: ‘Cool it. That’s not our way.’” Farrakhan said. “I heard you, Mr. President; and I asked myself a question: What brings you out of the shadows?”

Anyone who has followed Farrakhan knows he is dangerously mental unstable even on a good day but his lack of sound mind has never prevented him from spreading his gospel of hate or from winning fans on the Left. Anyone who is honest will acknowledge that the American activist Left has a long history of embracing deranged cult leaders from Rev. Jim Jones of the Peoples Temple in Guyana and Charles Manson to Revs. Jeremiah Wright and Al Sharpton.

Insanity is not in short supply on the topic of Michael Brown. Following the announcement of the non-indictment a week ago, Michael Brown’s stepfather urged an angry mob consisting of several hundred protesters to “Burn this bitch down!” This incitement to riot committed by Louis Head was captured on video.

Head, by the way, is a member of the notorious criminal street gang known as the Bloods. This may help to explain why photos exist showing Brown flashing Blood gang signals and why Brown’s family wore red, the Bloods’ color, to his funeral. Head has two felony narcotics convictions. When released on parole, he violated probation and was remanded to state prison.

Strong-arm robbery is apparently a favorite crime in Brown’s family. Both Head and Brown’s mother Lesley McSpadden are themselves being investigated by Ferguson police for the Oct. 18 robbery and assault of three vendors who were selling “Justice for Mike Brown” merchandise. A police report indicated 20 to 30 people rushed the sellers, taking $400 in cash and $1,500 in goods. McSpadden herself reportedly punched one of the vendors, Brown’s grandmother Pearlie Gordon.

The night of the announcement a minimum of 10 businesses and two police cars were destroyed or damaged by fire in Ferguson, and police arrested 61 individuals. Inexplicably on Nov. 24 Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon ordered the Missouri National Guard to stand down. Nixon had mobilized the Guard to deal with potential post-announcement unrest. Perhaps Obama’s people, who believe that blacks are entitled to riot at perceived injustices, got to him.

On the evening of the announcement, a 20-year-old man named Deandre Joshua was killed and set on fire in his car, mere feet from where Brown died months before. Joshua, a friend of Brown’s robbery accomplice Dorian Johnson, may have been a grand jury witness who corroborated Wilson’s story. One theory is he was killed in retaliation for his testimony.

Johnson is the recidivist lowlife who gave birth to the Big Lie that Brown tried to surrender to Wilson and was then gunned down by the police officer in cold blood. Even though Johnson’s false testimony was ultimately demolished by the evidence, scientific and otherwise, it helped to spur the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” protest movement.

It could be argued that Johnson is at least as morally culpable of attempting to murder Wilson as Brown was because Johnson tried to frame Wilson. If Wilson had been convicted of murder he could have faced the death penalty for murder. Supporters of Wilson are trying to obtain a least a small measure of justice by having Johnson indicted for perjury but these efforts seem pointless in the current political climate.

Meanwhile, the Left is now trying to inflict as much pain as possible on black Americans in order to drive them to open revolt. The more black businesses are burnt to the ground, the better, in their view. Anyone killed in the process can be celebrated as a martyr for the cause.

Citing the purchasing power of black Americans, activists have been urging blacks and others to boycott retailers. Those involved in the Black Friday protests at big-box stores and sophomoric “die-ins” in major cities across the country four days ago are the same people who show up at Occupy Wall Street protests and demonstrations supporting minimum wage increases. The Left excels at recycling its activists. More actions were scheduled for yesterday, informally dubbed Cyber Monday, supposedly the biggest e-commerce sales day of the year.

Profit-generating businesses that communities need in order to survive are fair game in this effort to stamp out the parts of civil society that the Obama junta hasn’t gotten around to obliterating yet. This sick vengeance directed against people who had nothing to do with the demise of Michael Brown is justified because, as a Sixties radical once wrote, “The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.” To left-wing sociopaths, innocent people are mere pieces on a chessboard.

Saul Alinsky-inspired groups have been busy agitating this holiday season.

As this writer previously reported, the remnants of the ACORN activist empire have been deeply involved in the unrest in Ferguson. Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE), a nonprofit group, is the rebranded Missouri branch of the former Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). President Obama used to work for ACORN, and he represented it in court as a lawyer.

MORE has been active in the protests and in efforts to free jailed demonstrators so they can continue vandalizing businesses, intimidating perceived adversaries, setting fires, throwing projectiles and urine at cops, and engaging in the left’s usual modes of so-called nonviolent protest. MORE believes that protesters should be given a blank check to inflict whatever harm they wish on the community in pursuit of social justice.

We now learn that an ACORN successor group was involved in recent post-grand jury decision unrest in Brooklyn, N.Y. New York Communities for Change (NYCC), another offspring of ACORN, was involved in disruptive demonstrations alongside Al Sharpton’s group, National Action Network. The Working Families Party, founded in New York State in the 1990s by ACORN members, is also involved in Ferguson-related actions.

But there is some good news.

There is evidence that ordinary Americans are beginning to fight back against all this mindless, destructive activism by left-wingers who want to hurt blacks and the American system as a whole.

An Internet video that has gone viral shows angry employees trying to get to work last Wednesday giving activists blocking a highway a major dressing-down.

“I gotta go to Ross right now, homie,” Tyree Landrum said on Interstate 5 near San Diego. “If I don’t get there, I’m gonna get fired. I got six f***ing kids to feed, I gotta get this car off the… Day goes on homie. M*****f***ers get shot every f***ing day. Deal with it the right f***ing way, not like this.”

Landrum appears in the video yelling at a road-blocking protester. “I’m about to lose my f***ing job, and you guys are f***ing out here protesting?”

A woman wearing medical scrubs was shown leaving her vehicle and joining in the yelling. “Arrest them!” the nurse shouted. “We have doctors and nurses that have to save lives here.”

Landrum told reporters he works three jobs. When an activist put a megaphone in his face, Landrum fought back.

“I’m like get this bullhorn out of my face,” he said. “At that point I was confused, frustrated, and completely angry.”

“I’m nobody special,” Landrum said. “Just doing what I thought was right.”

Tyree Landrum’s expletive-laden protest against demonstrators trying to deprive black men like him of a living is eloquent testimony to the desperation that normal Americans feel in the face of the crazy race-hatred and chaos that the Left has unleashed in this country.

If righteous explosions like Landrum’s start breaking out more regularly on the fruited plain, the Left won’t have a chance.

Does Sharpton still have what it takes to make life bad for Hillary?

During the 2008 primaries, Sharpton broke ranks with a lot of the Dem political establishment by dumping Hillary and backing Obama.

“I said, ‘I’m gonna do whatever I gotta do to help you. Hillary Clinton has never done nothing for us,’” said Sharpton, recounting a conversation with Obama for his followers at his group’s weekly rally.

Obama rewarded Sharpton by effectively making him his spokesman to the Black community.

Now it appears that Sharpton is still at war with Hillary.

On Friday’s Morning Joe program on what remains of MSNBC, Al Sharpton, completely ignoring how late appearances in Maryland and Illinois by President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle coincided with significant deterioration in the situations of Democratic Party gubernatorial candidates in Maryland and Illinois, blamed Bill and Hillary Clinton, and not the Obamas, for Tuesday’s Democratic debacle.

The idea of a news network inviting political analysis on national elections from Al Sharpton is ridiculous enough, but it’s MSNBC and they gave Racist Al his own show.

It’s not just that Sharpton is defending Obama. That’s his job. But he’s also attacking the Clintons. That’s a risky move since he loses his ties to the Dem establishment if she wins.

But then again he probably lost them anyway.

The Clintons, especially Hillary, go long on grudges. They have enemies lists and they never really forget being sold out. Sharpton could have done what some Obama endorsees did and try to broker a truce, but instead he’s going for broke.

His old strategy was to make so much trouble for a politician that they would have to cut a deal with him. That’s probably his plan for Hillary. The question is does Sharpton, who has become a joke even in the Black community under Obama, still have what it takes to make life bad for Hillary

Two sets of tax rules for those inside and outside the Democratic Party power structure.

In America and in New York City – much like anywhere else with law and order, there must be boundaries and rules. There can’t be two sets of rules.

Reverend Al Sharpton is a fixture for New Yorkers, and in the last few years, left-leaning cable news viewers have come to rely on his political and social commentary. Love him or hate him, he has been around forever and his brand has matured since the Tawana Brawley days. Particularly in the current de Blasio administration, Sharpton has grown quite powerful; so powerful, that, as the New York Post says, he dictates policy to the police commissioner. He is also very close with President Barack Obama, the United States Commander-in-chief.

Leaving aside Sharpton’s “colorful” history, how is it possible that powerful elected officials in this nation associate with and take advice from a national leader who does not pay his taxes? Politicians avoid shady characters, and taxes are a matter of fact issue (which in fact pays the salaries of these folks.)

As the uber-liberal New York Times reported today, in records they reviewed it was apparent that Sharpton owes, “more than $4.5 million in current state and federal tax liens against him and his for-profit businesses.” While Sharpton’s friends de Blasio and Obama have been in power, his tax bills have grown – and the organization which he runs, the National Action Network, has not paid federal payroll taxes.

Maybe the IRS has been too busy harassing the Tea Party to look at people on their own side of the political fence.

During the 2012 election cycle, billionaire Sheldon Adelson, an outspoken Republican donor, said a second Obama term would bring government “vilification of people that were against him [Obama].” In 2013 his words came true when the IRS admitted that conservative organizations were unfairly targeted and audited during the 2012 election.

Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice said the IRS’s activity was “McCarthyism” – and, in fact, the Obama Administration targets and harasses conservatives while allowing Obama allies to openly cheat the system. During the 2012 election billionaire Frank VanderSloot raised up to $5 million for Romney’s campaign. He was labeled by Obama election propaganda as a “presidential enemy;” and soon after, this American businessman – who had never before had legal issues — was audited by the Labor Department and IRS.

In this tale of two cities – or of two countries, where some of us pay taxes, and some do not — right-wingers have been harassed unfairly by the IRS, while left-wingers who evade taxes are giving counsel and setting policy. Are these American tactics or is Obama learning from Putin?

Do Obama and de Blasio ask Sharpton about taxes when he whispers in their ears? Does anyone in their offices even care that he is in violation of American law?

It is ridiculous that Reverend Al Sharpton has a different set of rules than the rest of America. Reverend Al: Pay your taxes.

Some people go to jail for tax fraud. Others get jobs badly misreading teleprompters on MSNBC. I’m not sure which is the worse fate. But Al Sharpton, with more than a little blood on his pricey suits, sniffs at such petty things as paying taxes, because look at who his pals are.

Mayor Bill de Blasio and Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo hailed him as a civil rights icon. President Obama sent an aide to read a message commending Mr. Sharpton’s “dedication to the righteous cause of perfecting our union.” Major corporations sponsored the lavish affair.

One minor detail.

Today, Mr. Sharpton still faces personal federal tax liens of more than $3 million, and state tax liens of $777,657, according to records. Raw Talent and Revals Communications owe another $717,329 on state and federal tax liens.

What’s $4 million and change between pals? Obama hands out more than that in petty cash to Green Energy companies run by his donors.

Records reviewed by The New York Times show more than $4.5 million in current state and federal tax liens against him and his for-profit businesses. And though he said in recent interviews that he was paying both down, his balance with the state, at least, has actually grown in recent years. His National Action Network appears to have been sustained for years by not paying federal payroll taxes on its employees.

That would be the same National Action Network at which his buddy Eric Holder appeared to complain about how mean Congress was being to him by asking him to turn over subpoena material.

That’s the corrupt country we’re living in which a dirty Attorney General goes to the forum of a man who decided to not pay taxes to complain that following the law is racist.

With the tax liability outstanding, Mr. Sharpton traveled first class and collected a sizable salary, the kind of practice by nonprofit groups that the United States Treasury’s inspector general for tax administration recently characterized as “abusive,” or “potentially criminal” if the failure to turn over or collect taxes is willful.

It’s okay. Al isn’t a Tea Party member. So there’s nothing criminal here.

We marvel at the kind of crazy corruption reported in places like Russia or Brazil, but these days we seem to be almost as bad.

Eleven disturbing voter fraud facts leftists pretend not to know.

With a perfectly straight face, Barack Obama recently told Al Sharpton’s National Action Network that “the real voter fraud is the people who try to deny our [voting] rights by making bogus arguments about voter fraud.” Eric Holder likewise contends, without even a hint of a grin, that voter ID laws are merely “political efforts” designed to make it “more difficult” for nonwhite minorities to “have access to the ballot.” And Hillary Clinton, too, casually dismisses voter fraud as a “phantom epidemic” that exists chiefly in the imagination of conservatives. Democrat consultant Donna Brazile puts it more colorfully, calling charges of voter fraud “a big ass lie.”

As they twist their faces into pained and pious countenances to give the appearance of passion and sincerity, these four individuals—along with all the other leading Democrats who invariably spout the same tripe—have only one significant thing in common: None of them actually believe even a word that they say about the rarity of voter fraud or the alleged injustice of voter ID requirements. In the privacy of their hearts, their efforts are devoted chiefly to refraining from laughing out loud at the absurd stupidities that they parrot ceaselessly—like Eric Holder’s claim that voter ID requirements are the equivalent of “poll taxes.” If the Democrats were honest, they would simply say the following:

We are moral crusaders who believe that the conservative vision of the world is evil beyond measure, and that our vision of an ever-expanding central government that controls the economy, regulates every aspect of people’s lives, and redistributes everyone’s wealth and property as we deem appropriate, is by far the better course. And because our objectives are so much better for humankind as a whole, we are resolutely committed to using any means at our disposal to achieve them. Thus we will deceive, lie, cheat, and steal anything—including elections. That’s why we’re not at all ashamed of playing the role of imbeciles when we promote the vapid idiocies that we cite as reasons to oppose voter ID laws.

But instead of making honest declarations like these, the Democrats instead pretend to be unaware of very well-known facts like the following:

•A 2012 report by the Pew Center on the States found that 24 million voter registrations—an incredible one-eighth of all registrations nationwide—were either invalid or inaccurate, including almost 3 million people who were registered in more than one state, and more than 1.8 million dead people who were still registered.

•A 2014 study found that two years earlier, some 155,692 registered voters in North Carolina alone had first and last names, birth dates, and final four Social Security number digits that matched those of voters who were registered in other states.

•The same study also found that 35,570 people who had actually voted in North Carolina, had first names, last names, and birth dates dates that matched those of voters who had cast ballots in other states.

•On election day 2013, undercover agents from New York City’s Department of Investigations (DOI) went to 63 different polling places and assumed the names of individuals who were ineligible to vote because they had either died, moved out of town, or been incarcerated. In 61 of the 63 instances, or 97% of the time, the agents were allowed to vote.

•In 2008, Democrat Al Franken won a highly controversial U.S. Senate race in Minnesota by just 312 votes. It was later discovered that 1,099 felons—all legally ineligible to vote—had nonetheless cast ballots in the election, almost exclusively for Franken. Consider this: Without Franken, the Democrats would not have had the 60 Senate votes they needed in order to pass Obamacare in 2010.

•A 2006 study found 77,000 dead people listed on New York’s statewide database of registered voters, and many of them had somehow managed to cast ballots from the grave. One Bronx address in particular was identified as the home of as many as 191 of these registered voter-corpses.

•In Milwaukee in 2004, approximately 5,300 more ballots were cast than voters who were recorded as having shown up at the polls.

•In 2008, election officials nationwide had to discard at least 400,000 bogus voter registrations submitted by ACORN, the infamous, Obama-affiliated criminal operation masquerading as a “community organization.” No one knows how many other invalid registrations were never detected.

•In 2011, a Colorado study found that of the nearly 12,000 non-citizens who were registered to vote in that state, about 5,000 had taken part in the 2010 general election.

•In ten Colorado counties in 2012, voter registrations outnumbered the total voting-age population by between 4% and 40%.

•In a forthcoming article in the journal Electoral Studies, university professors Jesse Richman and David Earnest conclude that a significant number of non-citizens—who support Democrats about 80% of the time—vote in U.S. elections, and that “their participation can change the outcome of close races.”

These examples represent only the barest tip of a colossal iceberg. And Obama, Holder, Hillary, and the rest of the Democrats know all about it, just like you and I know all about it. They really aren’t dumb enough to believe any of the things they say about voter fraud and voter ID. They’re just counting on voters being dumb enough to believe them. It’s that simple.

It may not be making the national news, but Bill de Blasio, the New York City mayor who was supposed to usher in a new and more radical progressive wave, is floundering badly.

Even his allies think that Al Sharpton has too much power at City Hall.

The first article is from the New York Post’s Michael Goodwin.

“Associations with unsavory characters, favoritism, high-handed behavior he condemns in others,” he writes. “This $170,000-a-year aide (and Al Sharpton spy) withholds or distorts info on her ex-con boyfriend and son, and also hides that, like Sharpton, she’s a tax deadbeat.

“She’s cleared by the head of the mayor’s Department of Investigation — who used to be his chief fund-raiser! Add the call to the precinct to get a supporter out of jail, the sweetheart deal for school bus drivers represented by another campaign bundler, and you’ve got a corrupt mayoralty with a lefty flair.”

Oddly enough it’s the Daily News’ Mike Lupica, a usually reliable liberal, who delivers the knockout punch.

The problem for Bill de Blasio, one that only he can solve, is the perception now that when voters elected him, and by a lot over Joe Lhota, they apparently elected the Rev. Al Sharpton and de Blasio’s wife, Chirlane, at the same time…

We know by now about de Blasio’s progressive beliefs, and his ideology. When he was swept into office the way he was, beating Lhota like a rented mule, he clearly thought he had become the leader of a progressive movement that would sweep the city and the state and maybe make him governor someday. Only he was not hired to be the leader of a movement, or an ideologue, certainly not in a place as diverse as this city. He was hired to run the city. Only there are times, in the nine months or so, when he has looked as overmatched as an actual manager as another progressive, President Obama, has.

And, worse, like others are running him…

Who’s really acting more like a chief of staff these days, Rachel Noerdlinger or the mayor of New York? One used to work for Sharpton, one needs to convince New Yorkers he’s not.

This is damning stuff. Former De Blasio supporters are waiting for him to break with Sharpton, but they’re going to have to keep on waiting. Bill de Blasio is another community organizer and unlike Obama, he doesn’t have a competent team around him, which is something that Obama did passingly have early on.

There’s no David Axelrod. No Rahm Emanuel. Bill de Blasio skipped right to Obama Term 2, but managed to make it even worse. He’s unfit for the job and his old charm offensive is wearing thin fast.

Final entry.

The city’s five district attorneys have been desperately trying to get a sit down with Mayor de Blasio for months but hizzoner has blown them off while holding multiple meetings with Al Sharpton, The Post has learned.

Bronx DA Robert Johnson sent an email to the mayor’s office on behalf of the group and urged him to meet with them to discuss issues involving their budgets and public safety, sources said.

“I ask that, at your convenience, you meet with me and my colleagues from Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan and Brooklyn,” reads the email sent from Johnson on March 11. “We feel that we are an important part of the City’s efforts to provide public safety.”

During this time the mayor held a number of meeting for civil rights activist Al Sharpton, including a roundtable discussion concerning police brutality in August.

De Blasio also attended Sharpton’s star-studded 60th birthday party last week where he called Rev. Al “a blessing for this city.”

For once there's a crime involving Al Sharpton that does not involve Sharpton.

For once there’s a crime involving Al Sharpton that does not actually involve Sharpton. This is a real step up.

Sanford Rubenstein needs a lawyer. The high-powered attorney has been accused of raping a woman at his Manhattan home following the Rev. Al Sharpton’s 60th birthday bash Wednesday, the Daily News has learned.

The alleged incident took place at Rubenstein’s swanky E. 64th St. apartment hours after Sharpton’s star-studded party at the Four Seasons restaurant in Manhattan, law enforcement sources told The News.

The alleged victim is a 42-year-old executive who has ties to Sharpton, sources said.

Sanford would be the 3rd most popular arrest target for the NYPD after Al Sharpton and Bill de Blasio. He’s basically the law half of the Sharpton team jumping in with a lawsuit.

If there’s a racially aggravated case involving the NYPD, e.g. Abner Louima, Amadou Diallo, you can bet that Sanford was there. He had just fastened his teeth into the Eric Garner case.

Known for his dapper suits and frequent press conferences, Rubenstein has been front and center on many of the city’s most shocking police brutality cases.

He represented police-torture victim Abner Louima in his civil suit against the city. The case was settled in July 2001 for a stunning $7.1 million, the largest police brutality payout in city history at the time.

The Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association paid Louima an additional $1.6 million as part of the settlement.

There’s a lot of drinks being passed around in cop bars. Meanwhile Sharpton has already announced that he knows nothing.

“National Action Network and Rev. Al Sharpton was made aware by media that a NAN top official made allegations against Sanford Rubenstein. National Action Network and Rev. Al Sharpton has not been notified or advised by any official investigating authorities. The allegations as reported occurred at a private residence after a NAN event and had nothing to do with NAN nor Rev. Al Sharpton, therefore we have no comment at this time.”

Another profile in courage. As a bonus, here’s Ron Kuby screaming at Sanford as they try to decide which of them is the bigger slimeball.

This story just somehow keeps getting worse and worse.

Daniele Watts, an actress from the violent racist flick Django Unchained, claimed that the LAPD accused her of being a prostitute because she was black and her boyfriend is white.

As it turned out the problem was that a complaint call had come in over public indecency involving Watts.

Now civil rights leaders, and by that I mean hucksters desperate to get their name in the headlines, want her to apologize, not to the LAPD, but to them.

Civil rights leaders Friday called for a “Django Unchained” actress to apologize after claiming Los Angeles Police Department officers racially profiled her.

Project Islamic Hope President Najee Ali, Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson and other civil rights leaders held a meeting at 9:30 a.m. denouncing Daniele Watts after a recent incident.

“We have nothing to be embarrassed about. She should be embarrassed. She’s the one that told the lie. She came and stated she’s a victim of racial profiling. We found out later on based on new information that she wasn’t,” activist Najee Ali said. “We didn’t make a rush to judgment. We can to aid a victim who we thought was victimized. For us, she’s wrong. That’s why we’re demanding Daniele Watts apologize not to LAPD but to our community.”

Besides being with Project Islamic Hope, Ali also appears to be the LA political director for Sharpton’s National Action Network. When you work for Sharpton, you ought to take false accusations about police racism as a badge of honor.

I don’t see his boss making good on damages to the accused. Tellingly Ali doesn’t want an apology for the LAPD which actually was the victim here.

But you can see why Ali might not be a big fan of the LAPD.

Najee Ali, known as an outspoken critic of law enforcement, was sentenced to four years in state prison Monday after pleading guilty to trying to bribe a witness in his daughter’s criminal case.

The 45-year-old former gang member turned community activist tried to tamper with a witness in January outside his daughter’s preliminary hearing in Alhambra, said Sandi Gibbons, spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

He was charged March 11 with attempting to intimidate and bribe a witness. But prosecutors later dismissed the intimidation charge.

Jasmin Eskew, Ali’s daughter, is awaiting trial on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of leaving the scene of an accident stemming from an incident in July 2007 involving her vehicle and a group of motorcyclists on the San Bernardino Freeway, Gibbons said.

Ali would have received two years in prison, but a prior robbery conviction in 1992 doubled his time to four years, Gibbons said. The judge also found that Ali had violated his probation in a 2004 case in which he was convicted of felony hit-and-run and perjury.

“Mr. Ali has still not paid $29,240 in restitution in that case,” Gibbons said.

Ali, born Ronald Todd Eskew, spent two years in prison for armed robbery before coming to prominence in 1998 when he led public protests over the case of Sherrice Iverson, a 7-year-old girl from South Central Los Angeles who was sexually attacked and strangled in a Nevada casino bathroom.

Ali splits his time between an apartment in Baldwin Hills and a home in Chicago, where he lives with his wife, Ngzina Muhammad, the granddaughter of Nation of Islam founder Elijah Muhammad. Ali’s organization, Project Islamic Hope, is funded by private benefactors, he says.

Somebody needs to give this guy a gig on MSNBC next to Sharpton.

The Ferguson mob sets its sights on Officer Wilson’s head.

An Al Sharpton-led memorial service yesterday for Michael Brown, the black 18-year-old thug who gave a white Ferguson, Mo. police officer a severe head injury while trying to seize his handgun, became the grotesque political rally some observers feared it would be.

The distinctly anti-police tone of the service was proof that the lie that Brown tried to surrender to white police officer Darren Wilson, rather than trying to beat the life out of him, won’t die. The racial-grievance industry, egged on by President Obama, won’t let it go.

The Left’s narrative that the nearly 300-lbs. Brown, who had just robbed a convenience store on Aug. 9 mere minutes before encountering decorated policeman Wilson, is under withering evidentiary assault every day. As federal officials scour the riot-torn St. Louis suburb in a desperate search for material to justify federal civil rights charges, Sharpton is pressing on with his campaign to foment race-based hatred.

The funeral sets the stage for the mob-led lynching of Officer Wilson, an outcome eagerly sought by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Missouri’s governor, Jay Nixon (D). Nixon has been covering his left flank in recent days, terrified because activists noticed that he seemed to support law and order and oppose mobocracy, rioting, and looting in the early hours of the crisis that followed Brown’s death. But after criticism from the Left, Nixon, like the Democratic members of the local congressional delegation, wants Wilson indicted, evidence or not.

Brown was remembered at a star-studded Baptist church funeral choreographed by racial grievance profiteer Sharpton. From Hollywood, movie director Spike Lee and actor Wesley Snipes attended the service, along with purported civil rights leader Martin Luther King III, U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.), and U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), a left-wing extremist who believes urban riots constitute legitimate political activism. Lee is on record praying that Ferguson would explode in racial violence. Also in attendance were three officials from the Obama White House — a greater number of representatives than Obama sent to the recent funeral for a murdered brigadier general, the highest-ranking U.S. officer to be killed in a war in decades.

But despite growing evidence suggesting Brown wasn’t such a good kid, Sharpton pontificated that the decedent was a gentle giant who only wanted the best for his fellow human beings.

“Michael Brown does not want to be remembered for a riot. He wants to be remembered as the one that made American[s] deal with how we gonna police in the United States,” Sharpton thundered before a crowd estimated at 4,500, in a eulogy that was more like a spirited pep talk before the Left’s planned lynching of Officer Wilson.

Given that the decedent’s rap music recordings focused on the joys of illicit drug use, criminal violence including rape, and “hos” it is hard to imagine Brown gave much thought to law enforcement best practices.

Sharpton howled that Brown’s body laid out in the street for a whole 90 minutes before a police detective arrived to begin an investigation into the shooting, as if it had been an intentional insult to Brown on the part of racist police:

And when I saw Michael lying there, I thought about how many of us were just considered nothing. How we were just so marginalized and ignored. Whatever the circumstance an investigation leads to, to have that boy lying there, like nobody cared about him. Like he didn’t have any loved ones, like his life value didn’t matter … I told his grandfather, I don’t care what happened, but whatever we can do I’ll be there to do it.

And if the corpse had been scooped up from the ground right away Sharpton and his ilk would now be screaming that the evidence hadn’t been properly preserved by bungling Keystone Kops who didn’t care if a dead black man got justice.

Sharpton also showed his paranoid side, ranting that people were coming after African-Americans because of their “blackness”:

So that they are justifying trying to come at us because some of us act like the definition of blackness is how low you can go. Blackness has never been about being a gangster or thug. Blackness was no matter how low we was pushed down, we rose up anyhow. Blackness was never surrendering our pursuit of excellence. It was when it was against the law to go to some schools, we built black colleges and learned anyhow.

At one point in the address, Sharpton shouted:

America, it’s time to deal with policing! We are not the haters, we’re the healers!

What does it require of us? We can’t have a fit; we’ve got to have a movement. A fit you get mad and run out for a couple of nights. A movement means we’ve got to be here for the long haul, and turn our chants into change, our demonstration into legislation, we have got to stay on this so we can stop this.

After Brown died violence erupted in Ferguson, Sharpton said, pretending not to approve of said violence. With no obvious oratorical segue, Sharpton screamed:

This is not about you! This is about justice! This is about fairness! And America is going to have to come to terms when there’s something wrong that we have money to give military equipment to police forces, but we don’t have money for training, and money for public education, and money to train our children!

Which is what it is all about for Sharpton: the money.

Shakedowns are the name of the game for Sharpton and his group, National Action Network, whose motto is the cry of the rioter, “No justice, no peace.”

Every time a black person dies tragically, especially when it happens in a newsworthy way, Sharpton sees dollar signs — and his business partner, Barack Obama, sees votes.

How politicians' police-bashing empowers criminals.

New York City could not have a more polarizing figure sit upon its doorstep than Rev. Al Sharpton coming from a glitzy, gated community in New Jersey. As “stalker in chief,” Sharpton pours his acid upon the busy streets of NYC and elsewhere in what used to be the safest big city in America. Sharpton’s history of tearing communities apart is now legendary across the nation, as residents are left to pick up the pieces, put out the flames and replenish inventories of stolen goods.

Yet here in Queens County in a quiet cutout called home by hard working residents, NYC Councilman Rory Lancman seems to want to align himself with Mayor de Blasio’s Al Sharpton, and continue to debase the historic successes of the NYPD. How Lancman’s constituents benefit from his unwarranted attack on the police is questionable at best. His actions as a city councilman are irresponsible to be sure.

Lancman has no horse in the race of the racially divisive overtones and temper tantrums of race baiter Al Sharpton. But Lancman nevertheless seeks to align himself with the harsh rhetoric of this community trouble maker and professional agitator. The councilman cites a 40-year-old study written up in The Atlantic as evidence to back up his shallow claim that the “broken windows” theory doesn’t work. While Lancman ties the knot with Sharpton, one can only wonder how this is sitting with the taxpayers of Lancman’s district, which includes Fresh Meadows, Briarwood, Hillcrest, Jamaica Hills, Jamaica Estates, and Kew Garden Hills. What about the ongoing related criminal justice costs we all have to shoulder because of Sharpton and company’s antics to disrupt New York City and the nation?

We invite the community to take a look and see how the crime numbers in your community are silently and quietly creeping up. We invite you to see how in “key” communities (some of the poorest areas of the city), where violence has historically been raw and uncontrolled, we now have deadly, dangerous shooting incidents and shooting victims climbing upwards. In some cases a 1500% increase, and overall, citywide incidents of shootings are up 12%. Grand Larceny Auto was once the defining downward force for substantial decreases for years — not so much anymore. Check what’s happening in your part of town.

Signs of the past coming back are all in place with de Blasio and Lancman trashing the police at every opportunity they get. What do we the community get? We get historic increases of police officers being injured in the line of duty; the likes of which we have not seen in almost 20 years. An emboldened criminal element, more violent streets and communities wondering when is it going to hit us next?

How did we become the safest big city in America today? Well, Police Commissioner Bill Bratton could tell you: It’s all about addressing the minor problems in a community. Bratton would say it’s by not letting things get out of hand. The Commissioner would talk about dampening the appetite for committing a crime within the criminal element in our society and how they used to count on the police looking the other way, not addressing those little things. You could hear Bratton’s words echo and ring as he sat at a table this past month with Mayor de Blasio and Rev. Al Sharpton. The only problem was that at that meeting de Blasio was twisting and turning Bratton’s words 180 degrees with a decade of police executives shaking their heads in utter disbelief.

What is the “broken windows” theory and why should you, as a resident of the community, care? Broken windows is a theory that says if you pay attention to small things such as petty crime, it will not grow into a larger problem such as serious violent crime. This includes addressing community plagues like graffiti on stores, walls and our parkways, low level street trading, the selling of pirated movies and software, panhandlers, squeegee men, street narcotics, vagrants, untaxed cigarettes and alcohol, prostitution, broken car windows, stolen auto tires and rims, auto computer systems, repairing cars in the street, double parking, disorderly conduct, street fighting, and a whole lot more. These are the things that eat away at our civil order and stable society — order maintenance in the community.

Lancman would apparently like to see a return of petty crime. We wonder how this would play out in Glen Oaks where stealing tires, rims and more is getting to be a common experience. On 73rd Avenue, 188th Street, Utopia Blvd, Union Turnpike and other areas in not only Lancman’s district but others as well, cars are being “keyed,” tires slashed and windows broken and noise out of control. His constituents should let him know about their “quality of life” and just how important it may be to them, our senior citizens, our residents attending religious services as we go from dusk to dark, as we board trains and buses during all hours of the day and night. New York residents need to remember what life in the city was like when crime was out of control, in order to really appreciate where we need to be both today and in the future.

We can’t yet call this Bill de Blasio’s “2014 Summer of Death.” But as shootings and shooting victims skyrocket out of control, we can cite escalating violence on the streets of NYC, in taxicabs, NYC housing developments, and compare that with the overall success of crime strategies employed in NYC for the past 20 years wherein over 7,700 human lives were saved because of the hard work of the men and women of the NYPD.

No discussion of crime in NYC would be complete without addressing NYC Local Law 71, which was better known last year as the Community Safety Act. This law sought to address alleged constitutional violations by NYPD in the now totally misunderstood stop, question and frisk policy which originates from the NYS Criminal Procedure Law.

The Community Safety Act uniquely puts NYC police officers in the crosshairs of professional agitators such as Al Sharpton. Prior to the implementation of this law, Sharpton and his ilk had to deal with the NYC Law Department to settle what some would call “dialing for dollars” as they brought suit and filed claims against police officers in the City of New York. The Law Department was well known for settling cases and setting up a cash cow for plaintiffs. Now because of Local Law 71, police officers have to represent themselves with privately hired lawyers. Police officers who are fighting to keep their homes, pay the education for their children and put food on the table, now have to weigh how to respond to street criminals and thugs because anyone can now file suit against a police officer as an individual. It should come as no surprise that the number of stop, question and frisks in the entire City of New York have collapsed from hundreds of thousands a year to less than 20,000. Likewise, the numbers of guns taken off the streets have been drastically reduced. The stop, question and frisks were an important component of the city’s nationally acclaimed CompStat program. CompStat is a statistical program which puts the data of crime and subsequent actions of police officers on an electronic pin map. Police executives are held to account for their crime fighting strategies’ effectiveness and overall crime reduction.

CompStat is a National Institute of Justice award-winning program to fight crime in communities near and far. The program works, and its successes can be seen all over the nation as well as right here in NYC where it was developed. The program places performance demands and measurement of activities taken by police personnel. This program “properly managed” can work, but it requires resources and intensive training by all ranks within any policing agency.

If NYC could be found at fault for anything, it would be the lack of training and professional development of its personnel in properly carrying out this aspect of police operations. The NYC Council can be found equally at fault for its failure in oversight. The Council has the duty and the obligation to correct these legal violations. However, by design they sought to limit and handcuff the police rather than improve the professional development which these hard-working men and women need and for the subsequent delivery of services to the visitors, residents and citizens of New York City.

While City Councilman Lancman may take some comfort in bashing the police, the NYPD as a whole or in part, he would do well to educate himself and his constituents to obey the law and encourage others to do the same, to engage with local police commanders and personnel. The police need the community in order to be effective and the community expects that police officers solve crimes, expedite the flow of traffic and bring “order” to our civilized society. Police operations are imperfect and at best sometimes the absolute last thing anyone wants. But it’s all in a day’s work.

The NYPD is the agency of last resort and when everything else isn’t working people like you and I call for the police. When hearing the harshness of any politician’s rhetoric, remember it is a police officer who will defend your right to speak your mind. It is a police officer who will protect you from unwanted intrusions; it is a police officer who will guide you into safety when no one else seems to care. Councilman Lancman, there are 7,700 New Yorkers alive and walking the face of this earth today because a New York City Police Officer cared enough for those they don’t even know to uphold the law and civility in our society.

The honeymoon is over.

If there was any Mayor of New York City that Al Sharpton should have been able to get along with it should have been Bill de Blasio, but then again Sharpton also couldn’t get along with De Blasio’s boss, David Dinkins.

Despite Sharpton’s lucrative career of not paying taxes and misreading teleprompters for MSNBC while hosting racist rants by Attorney General Eric Holder, he still can’t resist the siren song of a black man being killed by the NYPD.

Meanwhile Red Bill is just as radical as Sharpton, he just doesn’t want New York voters to realize it. Sharpton isn’t really all that radical, but has built a career out of doing a fake “Black Power” thing.

And so an idiotic object collided with a radical force leading to this…

Mayor Bill de Blasio was furious when the Rev. Al Sharpton lectured and threatened him from the dais at last week’s City Hall meeting over the police chokehold death of Eric Garner, The Post has learned.

De Blasio thought the activist preacher publicly humiliated him by spouting off from a seat of honor directly to the mayor’s left, sources said Thursday.

“He was really pissed at what Sharpton did,” one source said.

“He felt [Sharpton] embarrassed him, and he regrets now that he let the press in and that he moved Sharpton up [to the dais].”

Sharpton was initially supposed to be seated away from de Blasio with other community leaders, the source said.

…

During statements to reporters before their closed-door, roundtable discussion July 31, Sharpton told de Blasio that if teenage offspring “Dante wasn’t your son, he’d be a candidate for a chokehold.”

Sharpton also demanded the mayor “go from hope to actuality” and warned: “If we’re going to play spin games, I’ll be your worst enemy.”

Sharpton being your worst enemy means that he will put on a purple jumpsuit and lead a small mob of ex-conts to chant racist threats outside your store, before one of them burns it down.

Gracie Mansion can probably handle it.

The only question is, in this divorce, who gets custody of the Race Card?

Meet the Left's white race hustlers.

I’m old enough to remember when only black people called black people “Uncle Tom.” Democrats, however, long expanded the category of who can play the race card and on whom. Call them equal opportunity race-card players.

As with black race-card hustlers — say the Revs. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton or any given host on MSNB-Hee-Haw — white race-card players label others “racist” for the crime of disagreement. As with black race-card hustlers, white race-card hustlers need not name names when accusing someone of “racism.” And, as with black race-card hustlers, the mainscream media will not bother to ask the white race-card hustler to identify said racists.

Some examples:

Rep. Steve Israel, D-N.Y.: When recently asked if his Republican colleagues were racist, Israel responded, “Not all of them, no. Of course not. But to a significant extent, the Republican base does have elements that are animated by racism.” “Not all” implies one or more is “animated by racism.” He never bothered to name names, let alone what “animated” the racist(s). The host did not ask.

Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va.: Only days ago, the soon-to-retire senator said that he can now speak out about the number of Republicans who oppose President Barack Obama because of his race: “It’s an American characteristic that you don’t do anything which displeases the voters, because you always have to get reelected here. I understand part of it. It has to do with — for some, it’s just we don’t want anything good to happen under this president, because he’s the wrong color.”

Former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist, now a Democrat: Crist recently said that “a big reason” he switched parties was because of the way “some” people in his former party — Republican — treated Obama: “I couldn’t be consistent with myself and my core beliefs, and stay with a party that was so unfriendly toward the African-American president.”

Feminist attorney Gloria Allred, Democrat: After the election of George W. Bush in 2000, Colin Powell and Condi Rice, formerly with the Reagan administration, were considered likely to join the new administration. Allred, who then hosted a Los Angeles radio show, referred to them (not by name) as “Uncle Tom types.”

Former President Jimmy Carter, Democrat: He attributed opposition to Obamamcare and other Obama policies to racism. “I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama,” said Carter, “is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he’s African-American.

Racism … still exists, and I think it’s bubbled up to the surface because of a belief among many white people, not just in the South but around the country, that African-Americans are not qualified to lead this great country.”

CNN’s Anderson Cooper: When asked by embattled Clippers’ owner Donald Sterling whether there’s much prejudice in America, CNN’s Anderson Cooper replied, “Yes. … There’s institutional prejudice” in addition to the kind “that people have in their hearts.” In fairness to Cooper, Sterling did not ask him to name any “institution” — but it would have been helpful.

The Republicans-hate-blacks narrative remains crucial to maintaining the monolithic 95 percent Democratic black vote, without which the Democratic Party cannot succeed. Economist Thomas Sowell writes, “If Republicans can get just a fourth or a fifth of the black vote nationwide, that can shift the balance of power decisively in their favor.” As recently as 1956, nearly 39 percent of blacks voted Republican in the presidential election.

The next time a Democrat or member of media speaks darkly about these anonymous Republican “racists,” ask this question: Don’t Israel and Rockefeller, currently in office, have a duty to “out” these racists? Why allow known bigots to remain in government? Doesn’t morality require Crist, running as a Democrat for his old job as governor of Florida, to identify and help remove these racist elected officials? Aren’t these Republican “racists” — whose IDs are being protected by their Democratic colleagues — detrimental to the interests of the nation and serving in violation of their oath to protect and defend the U.S. Constitution? Doesn’t this oath mean protecting and defending the rights of all constituents irrespective of race — and exposing the “racists” who refuse to do so?

Why protect them? Why conceal their identities? Out the SOBs!

But, no. Democrats would rather just brand unnamed Republicans as “racist,” no matter how absurd or outlandish the charge. Given this tepid five-year-old “recovery,” the Obama-loving/leftist media/academia/Hollywood crowd cannot, during this off-year election cycle, brag about economic growth. So look for more topic-changers like “income inequality,” climate change and the eternal struggle against the unknown “racist” obstructionists who sit across the aisle.

Sigh.

The real reason the MSNBC host "cooperated" with the FBI.

If the Rev. Al Sharpton, the bigoted, anti-Semitic, non-tax paying race-hustling poverty pimp, had any credibility left, it just vanished.

The beneficiary of a lifetime of passes from our race-conscious mainscream media, Sharpton ran into an outlet not afraid of him — The Smoking Gun. They obtained material that exposed Sharpton as an FBI “informant.” Sharpton, of course, denies that this constitutes “snitching.” No, he says he “volunteered” to “cooperate” with the FBI — and for the most honorable of motives.

Why would the government-hating “civil rights” leader cooperate with the feds? Sharpton told Joe Scarborough, co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” that he did so to root out “mob influence” in the record business. To this, the suppliant Joe Scarborough actually praised Sharpton, calling him “a great example.”

Here’s the problem. The “great example” apparently cooperated to avoid going to prison for dealing drugs.

A “60 Minutes” outtake from CBS’ 2011 Sharpton profile shows correspondent Leslie Stahl aggressively questioning him about being an FBI “informant.” Sharpton admits “cooperating,” but says he did so to expose “crack houses” and corruption in boxing. They show the lying, shifty, obviously uncomfortable Sharpton dodging and deflecting — clearly unhappy with the line of questioning. He told Stahl that the FBI asked him “what I know about (boxing promoter) Don King, but said nothing about the mob in the record business, the reason he gave to Scarborough.

In 2002, HBO aired 19-year-old FBI hidden camera video of Sharpton with a self-described mobster and an undercover FBI agent posing as a Latin-American “businessman.” The three discussed promoting boxing matches and musical events. It also shows the undercover agent trying to convince Sharpton to play a middleman in a big cocaine buy. They discuss “4 million” in “coke,” a “six week” time frame, a price tag of “$35,000 a kilo” with “$3,500″ to Sharpton for “every kilogram” brought in.

Sharpton, on tape, was agreeable to all terms.

Sharpton later said he agreed because he was scared. But, according to the New York Post, a former Sharpton aide said: “It was greed. (Sharpton) just wanted money.” Sharpton cut a deal. The ex-aide said: “Sharpton moved on it, and they sprung the trap on him right away. They got him. Al told me himself. He bit and took the bait. … Sharpton said they could do whatever they wanted with him after that.

… Either he worked for them or they put that news out there that he was into coke.” The “civil rights” leader who condemned drugs while attempting to deal them snitched to save his hide — nothing more, nothing less, nothing noble.

Days after CBS released its 2011 outtakes, late-night host Arsenio Hall welcomed Sharpton with a flattering introduction. Only days earlier, Hall admitted to another guest that Sharpton suckered him with the fraudulent Tawana Brawley affair. Yet, in talking to Sharpton, Hall never mentioned the drug tape, never asked about the shifting reasons for “informing.” This, of course, is precisely why Sharpton chooses venues like that where he’ll be licked to death.

The “civil rights” leader became famous by falsely accusing a man of raping Tawana Brawley, only to be held liable for defamation. Since then, Sharpton has compiled an impressive and lengthy rap sheet of race-card hustles. This includes Crown Heights, to take just one.

Sharpton turned a tragic auto accident into a racial incident after a 7-year-old black child was killed in Crown Heights (in Brooklyn) when a car driven by a Hasidic Jew went out of control. Sharpton derided Jews as “diamond merchants” and led 400 protesters through the Jewish section of Crown Heights, with one protester holding a sign that read, “The White Man Is the Devil.” There were four nights of rock- and bottle-throwing. A young Talmudic scholar was surrounded by a mob shouting, “Kill the Jew,” and was stabbed to death. A hundred others were injured. Sharpton bellowed, “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.”

The “civil rights leader” has also managed to avoid jail despite being millions of dollars light in federal and state income taxes. The New York Post reported in 2011 that Sharpton “owe(d) the IRS $2.6 million in income tax and nearly $900,000 in state tax.” Sharpton’s money-losing non-profit “civil rights organization,” called the National Action Network, has failed to pay payroll taxes. Last year’s state and federal filings showed NAN had more than $1 million in deficits and owed $871,688 in unpaid payroll taxes, including penalties and interest.

Sharpton’s busy life includes a daily hour-long show on MSNBC and a three-hour daily radio show. Plus, he claims to put in a 40-hour workweek at NAN, still manages multiple TV, radio and live guest appearances around the country.

The IRS, should it turn its attention away from tea party applications, might be curious. How does Sharpton manage to do all this andstill put in 40 hours per week to justify his $250K CEO salary? Celebritynetworth.com clocks him in at $5 million, plus.

Not bad for “no justice, no peace.”

The deeply religious drug dealer and racist reverend who specializes in hating people and misreading teleprompters does occasionally have something to say about religion.

Sadly to Al Sharpton, religion involves attending the Church of the Race Card and ceremonially worshiping at the altar of Obama.

Wednesday on the “Tom Joyner Morning Show,” Al Sharpton offered a curious explanation involving President Barack Obama for the meaning of Easter:

“The story of Jesus on the cross. no matter what they humiliated him with. no matter how they mocked him he took it, because he knew he could rise… As I looked at President Obama at our convention last Friday where all he took he’s been able to rise politically again…”

“I’m not comparing him to Jesus, but I am saying that to every crucifixion there is a resurrection for those who believe…”

So long as they believe in Obama.

Has Obama in fact risen from the political dead at Sharpton’s convention? Not exactly.

About six in ten American voters think Barack Obama lies to the country on important matters some or most of the time, according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday.

Thirty-seven percent think Obama lies “most of the time,” while another 24 percent say he lies “some of the time.” Twenty percent of voters say “only now and then” and 15 percent “never.”

Meanwhile his disapproval rating has hit a high point. Maybe appearing with a notorious racist and hatemonger doesn’t do much for approval ratings.

The attorney general's gambit of distraction.

U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder played the race card in front a friendly audience at the annual convention of Reverend Al Sharpton’s National Action Network, held in New York on April 9th. He complained that members of Congress seeking to hold him accountable for his gross dereliction of duty were engaging in “unprecedented, unwarranted, ugly and divisive” attacks on him and the Obama administration. He delivered this poppycock a day after he sparred with Republican congressmen over his truth-challenged behavior.

“The last five years have been defined by significant strides and by lasting reforms even in the face, even in the face of unprecedented, unwarranted, ugly and divisive adversity,” Holder said. “If you don’t believe that, you look at the way — forget about me, forget about me. You look at the way the attorney general of the United States was treated yesterday by a House committee — has nothing to do with me, forget that. What attorney general has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment? What president has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment?”

Holder has only himself and the president whom he serves to blame. Their stonewalling makes Richard Nixon look like an amateur.

Holder wears a chip on his shoulder, using the excuse of race that he thinks entitles him and his boss to be insulated from any accountability. Indeed, Holder set his race-baiting tone very early in President Obama’s first term when he accused the American people of being “essentially a nation of cowards” in dealing with the race issue – just three months after the American people elected the nation’s first black president.

In 2011, during a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing on the voting rights case involving members of the New Black Panther Party who had intimidated voters at a polling location in Philadelphia, Holder justified the decision not to pursue their prosecution in racially charged terms: “When you compare what people endured in the South in the ‘60s to try to get the right to vote for African-Americans, to compare what people subjected to that with what happened in Philadelphia … to describe it in those terms I think does a great disservice to people who put their lives on the line for my people,” Holder said. (Emphasis added.) Silly us for thinking that Holder was supposed to serve all of the American people as their Attorney General.

Holder has stonewalled any inquiries into what led to this decision, including refusing to address allegations that his Deputy Assistant Attorney General had instructed her subordinates to focus their civil rights investigations on black victims while ignoring white victims of racist acts.

Holder’s pattern of stonewalling has extended beyond just race-related cases. Operation Fast and Furious, the botched Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives operation which had put guns into the hands of members of drug cartels in Mexico, is a case in point. It was conducted in the hope that the ultimate destination of the guns could be traced. Instead, the guns were turned loose, resulting in the death of at least one U.S. federal agent, Brian Terry.

Holder first denied in 2011 that he or other senior staffers at the Justice Department had any prior knowledge of the operation. However, when evidence began to surface that he had in fact received memos about the operation as early as 2010, Holder began his evasive tactics that impeded a full-scale congressional investigation as to what exactly happened and at what levels of authority the operation had been sanctioned.

Holder was cited for contempt of Congress in 2012 for failing to turn over subpoenaed Justice Department internal emails relevant to a possible cover up of its knowledge of the Fast and Furious operation. Nearly two years later, he still nurses bitterness on how he was treated. During a testy exchange with Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) at a House Judiciary Committee oversight hearing on April 8th, after Gohmert alluded to Holder’s seeming dismissal of the significance of a contempt citation as his Justice Department continues to hinder congressional investigations, Holder angrily protested.

“You don’t want to go there, buddy,” Holder said with contempt of his own directed at a sitting congressman fulfilling Congress’s responsibility for legislative oversight of the Executive Branch. “You don’t want to go there, OK? You should not assume that that is not a big deal to me. I think it was inappropriate. I think it was unjust. But never think that was not a big deal to me. Don’t ever think that.”

Gohmert reminded Holder that his Justice Department “has still not been forthcoming in producing the documents that were the subject of the contempt.” Holder could not hold back his derision, sarcastically referring to a trivial gaffe that Gohmert had made at a hearing nearly a year ago rather than deal with the substance of his own continued failure to come clean about what he and his senior staff knew and when they knew it about the Fast and Furious operation and other matters.

“The American people have not been told the truth about what happened in Fast and Furious,” House Speaker John Boehner said on Thursday, denying that race had anything to do with Holder’s frosty reception at House hearings. He noted that the Obama administration has also not been “forthcoming” about other scandals. “We’ve been going through all of these hearings, having to hold people in contempt because they’ve made it impossible to get to the documents. They owe the American people the truth.”

To add insult to injury, Holder has been sitting on a supposed criminal investigation into the IRS scandal involving the alleged unfair targeting of conservative groups for special scrutiny of their applications for tax exempt status. Following the playbook of his decision not to appoint a special counsel to scrutinize what happened with regards to Benghazi, including the alleged “talking points” cover-up, Holder has refused to appoint an independent special counsel to investigate the IRS’s shenanigans. Holder continues to claim that the investigation of former IRS Exempt Organizations Division Director Lois Lerner and others, who may have been involved in the decision-making behind the targeting, is still on-going. He refuses to comment on any aspect of the investigation, including possible discussions between the Department of Justice and Lerner’s attorney regarding the grant of immunity for her testimony. Noting the criminal referral letter regarding Lerner that the House Ways and Means Committee decided to send Holder, Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) advised Holder: “If you want to be taken seriously as a top law enforcement official in the country, you better handle this investigation in a way that generates public confidence.”

The problem with Representative Gowdy’s advice is that Holder’s boss, President Obama, had no such concern about an honest investigation of the IRS when he told Bill O’Reilly, during an interview held on Super Bowl Sunday, that there was “not even a smidgen of corruption.” Had Obama already been briefed on the conclusions of the Department of Justice investigation or, alternatively, was he sending a message to his subordinate as to how he wanted the investigation to come out? Either way, Holder’s refusal to appoint an independent special prosecutor is almost as scandalous as the IRS scandal itself.

Eric Holder has long gone past the date when he should have left office. This isn’t at all about race. It is about integrity and competence, applying the same high standard to all attorneys general, no matter what his or her race may happen to be. Holder has failed this test miserably and is a disgrace to the office of U.S. Attorney General.
