Who needs Obama when we have Republicans willing to do this?

Who needs Obama when we have Republicans willing to go even further than him.

House Speaker John Boehner’s top committee chairman says he wants an immigration bill that would allow millions of foreign migrants to stay and work jobs sought by Americans.

“I’m going to use my assets and resources in the new year to work with this Congress… to have a well-understood agreement about what the law should be, and how we as communities, and farm communities, and tech communities, create circumstances where we can have people be in this country and work, and where not one person is quote ‘thrown out’ or ‘deported,’” Rep. Pete Sessions, the chairman of the powerful House rules committee, told a group of Democratic legislators.

The committee has the power to kill or boost members’ bills because it decides how each bill will be considered in floor votes.

It’s the responsible thing to do.

“There is no one in responsible Republican leadership, elected officials, who has said we should deport 13 or 11 million people,” Sessions said.

13 percent of Americans say it’s okay to cheat on their taxes.

We aren’t going to lock up 39 million people. No one says we should. So it’s time for Tax Reform. We need to reform the IRS so it functions more like the border patrol. We need to provide amnesty for tax cheats.

We need to reform the law to say that it doesn’t matter if you pay your taxes or not and certainly no families should be broken up over it.

The same politicians who push that rhetoric when it comes to illegal aliens or legalizing drugs, draw the line at legalizing a much more minor offense because it hits them in the pocketbook.

Now they can understand how Americans losing jobs to illegal aliens feel.

Obamnesty, like ObamaCare, is a mess of dirty deals

Obamnesty, like ObamaCare, is really a messy complicated hodgepodge of dirty deals needed to keep a coalition between lefty corporations and radical activists happy. And like ObamaCare, Obamnesty is very vulnerable to being taken apart through its holes and weak points.

Facebook chief Mark Zuckerberg’s favorite part of amnesty that doesn’t involve more H1-B visas (Obama thus far hasn’t arrogated himself the power to legislate an expansion of visas, but probably will before too long) was OPT. But OPT is already in trouble.

A federal court gave a green light last week to a lawsuit by a union and IT workers challenging a student visa work program, known as Optional Practical Training (OPT).

The court denied a U.S. government motion to dismiss the case brought by the Washington Alliance of Technology Workers, or WashTech, and three IT workers. The lawsuit alleges that the OPT program is a conduit for low-wage labor and unfair job competition.

Students still in school or recent graduates can use their student F-1 visas to take jobs through the OPT program. Employers don’t have to pay them a prevailing wage, or Medicare and Social Security taxes. These tax breaks make OPT workers “inherently cheaper” to employ than U.S. workers, the lawsuit argues.

Obama promised to expand and extend OPT just as tech workers are pushing back against it. In the tech industry, as in all other jobs, amnesty is based on repeating the lie that Americans don’t want the jobs leading to a “shortage”.

During a time of high unemployment, there is no employee shortage. The tech industry is outsourcing jobs on American soil. And now it’s facing legal pushback.

Obama had already expanded OPT two years ago. This is an even bigger expansion. It’s a gift to corruptocrats like Mark Zuckerberg who has been pushing amnesty under the cover of pro-amnesty groups, including a fake conservative group. OPT is a little reminder of what this is about.

Cheap, cheap labor.

OPT rivals the H-1B program in size but has no protections for college- and STEM-educated U.S. workers, such as a requirement that employers demonstrate no qualified U.S. worker was available for the job or a prevailing wage rule. As a result, OPT workers are much cheaper to employ than an American. OPT workers don’t even have to be paid the minimum wage — they can work without pay if classified as interns or be paid a “stipend” — and employers aren’t required to pay unemployment, Medicare or Social Security taxes for them. That’s probably why tech wants Obama to extend the duration of OPT.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) warns that basic data collection in OPT is so bad that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) “cannot determine whether students with employment authorization are working in jobs related to their studies and not exceeding regulatory limits on unemployment.” Since ICE doesn’t know if the job requirement is being complied with, it’s unlikely a distinction that makes a difference. Moreover, OPT is missing the basic worker protections the pilot program included.

Because worker protections aren’t the point.

Obama’s illegal alien amnesty is just going to be an open door. It’s his DREAMER amnesty on a much bigger scale.

The infrastructure isn’t there to process and check all these applications. Congress won’t be allocating money for an illegal unilateral amnesty (which sets them up to be blamed for the consequences of Obama’s illegal actions) so the whole thing will be an open door for just about anyone trying to get through.

The political debate over Obama’s unilateral immigration actions is obscuring the more basic question of whether the federal government is actually up to the task of handling a flood of applications from as many as 5 million illegal aliens seeking quasi-legal status.

Among the potential problems: the agency that handles immigration paperwork may have to double its capacity for applications very quickly; critics say the potential for fraud increases with a high volume of immigrants in a short amount of time; the wait time for all kinds of immigration approvals could dramatically increase.

The new immigration effort is a similar high-wire act that needs to be carried out without legislative or financial help from Congress. And it involves two agencies with checkered reputations among immigrant rights advocates: U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and Immigration and Customs Enforcement. USCIS will have up to six months to get ready to accept applications, but will be pressured to process those requests quickly and could be tempted to cut corners.

A former federal immigration official involved with planning the 2012 program acknowledged that the new deferred action will be a test for the agency. “The modeling and the logistics are incredibly challenging,” said the ex-official, who asked not to be named. “USCIS processes about 4 million petitions a year already… So, we’re going to double that in a short period of time.”

And you can imagine how well that’s going to go.

“I do not see a need for a czar,” Pfeiffer said Friday at a breakfast organized by the Christian Science Monitor.

So that means we’ll have a czar by the end of the year.

There’s no such a thing as too much amnesty. Just ask Obama…

The Obama administration is granting temporary protected status to roughly 8,000 people living in the United States whose home countries are stricken with Ebola.

The move by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is intended to protect people from being deported back to places experiencing disaster conditions.

The government will allow people from Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone to apply for protection from deportation and for work permits that last 18 months, officials told Reuters.

Grants of protected status will be re-evaluated after that period based on the state of the Ebola epidemic.

That might sound defensible, but as Michelle Malkin has pointed out, Hotel Amnesty is like Hotel California.

Once you check in, you’re here for good.

In October, the White House extended TPS status and employment permits for an estimated 90,000 illegal alien Hondurans and Nicaraguans “for an additional 18 months, effective Jan. 6, 2015, through July 5, 2016.” Who are these TPS winners? Well, they’ve been here since 1998 — when Hurricane Mitch hit their homeland. That was 16 years ago. Their “temporary” status has been renewed a dozen times since the Clinton administration first bestowed it.

And they’ll have kids who are born here and be undeportable under Obama’s brand new amnesty.

How many billions in earned income credits will the 5 million illegal aliens be receiving?

Obama argued that we needed to legalize illegal aliens so they can pay taxes. This occasionally fools people who ought to know better because they forget that by “pay taxes” he means receive taxes.

Illegal immigrants will receive huge payments from American taxpayers under rules now being imposed by President Barack Obama’s unilateral amnesty.

The illegals will get work-permits and Social Security cards, and will be required to pay taxes, according to Cecilia Munoz, the former immigration lobbyist who is now a top Obama aide.

That means they’re part of the tax system, she said, when she was asked if the illegals would get annual payments under the Earned Income Tax Credit program.

“They are subject to our tax law,” she said, carefully.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, two parents with three or more children would receive up to $6,143 in 2014 if they earn less than $46,997.

A family with two kids, and an income of $20,000, would receive $14,590 in taxpayer funds this year alone.

That money will be coming out of the pockets of Americans whose jobs those same illegals will be taking. How many billions in earned income credits will the 5 million illegal aliens be receiving?

3. Amnesty for 5 million illegals isn't "mass amnesty"

1. Obama isn’t implementing amnesty. He’s fighting amnesty or something.

“I know some of the critics of this action call it amnesty. Well, it’s not. Amnesty is the immigration system we have today… That’s the real amnesty – leaving this broken system the way it is.”

In a speech filled with howlers and crazy lies, Obama’s claim that deporting illegal aliens is amnesty but giving them legal status isn’t, tops the list.

Somewhere George Orwell is climbing out of a grave and calling his lawyer. Really, we can now add “deportation is amnesty and legalization is deportation” to the old freedom and war list.

2. We are a nation of laws

“Even as we are a nation of immigrants, we are also a nation of laws. Undocumented workers broke our immigration laws, and I believe that they must be held accountable… “

The least appropriate time to namecheck America as a nation of laws is when you have to decided to…

A. Illegally usurp Congress

B. Provide sanction to lawbreakers

C. Disregard the very immigration laws you’re mentioning

When you use phone and pen to run everything, then the country isn’t a nation of laws. It’s a nation of executive orders.

3. Amnesty for 5 million illegals isn’t “mass amnesty”

“Mass amnesty would be unfair. Mass deportation would be both impossible and contrary to our character. What I’m describing is accountability – a commonsense, middle ground approach”

Obama has a bad habit of claiming to be the centrist because he’s standing between two strawmen extremes. But this is pathetic even by that measure.

Here he’s seriously claiming that amnesty for 5 million illegal aliens isn’t “mass amnesty”. If not every single illegal alien has been amnestied, then it’s not “mass amnesty”.

Is there anyone out there stupid enough to believe that?

4. Which part of illegal don’t you understand?

“But even as we focus on deporting criminals, the fact is, millions of immigrants – in every state, of every race and nationality – will still live here illegally…”

Illegally entering the US is a crime. Illegal aliens are criminals. Identity theft, routine among illegals, is also a crime.

5. No, seriously

“I know that some worry immigration will change the very fabric of who we are, or take our jobs, or stick it to middle-class families at a time when they already feel like they’ve gotten the raw end of the deal for over a decade. I hear these concerns. But that’s not what these steps would do.”

After summarizing some of the problems from his amnesty, Obama’s response is “no they won’t”. That’s it. Followed by using some kids as human shields.

Obama isn’t even bothering to have a debate. He falls back into his usual sanctimonious “I hear what you’re saying, now let me ignore it.”

According to Obama the border is super-secure. According to reality it’s as open as his mouth. And implementing amnesty is leading to more illegal aliens.

Or as Chicago calls them, Democratic voters.

An illegal immigrant woman at a border bus stop in Mission, Texas told CNN that she was inspired to cross into the United States now because of the impending amnesty being offered by President Obama.

“Did the possibility of immigration reform inspire you to come now?” CNN’s Alina Machado asked the Central American migrant waiting for a bus ticket on Thursday.

“Yes, that’s right,” the woman said. “That inspired us.”

“Now?” the reporter pressed.

“Yes, now,” the woman replied.

67 percent of jobs created under Obama already went to immigrants. Now Obama is set to cancel out whatever jobs were created, mostly low wage, in his miserable depressed economy with his illegal alien amnesty plan.

President Barack Obama’s unilateral amnesty will quickly add as many foreign workers to the nation’s legal labor force as the total number of new jobs created by his economy since 2009.

The plans, expected to be announced late Nov. 20, will distribute five million work permits to illegal immigrants, and also create a new inflow of foreign college graduates for prestigious salaried jobs, according to press reports.

Obama has already provided or promised almost one million extra work permits to foreigners, while his economy has only added six million jobs since 2009.

So Obama is effectively canceling out whatever job growth there was and there wasn’t much of it for Americans to begin with.

Food prices have risen sharply under his regime. ObamaCare is about to begin killing jobs on an epic scale. If Obama were doing this to another country, it would be considered a war crime.

It's the biggest distraction he can currently manage that doesn't involve starting a war.

Ever since the election Obama has been tossing out one shiny distraction after another.

There was a fake “climate pact” with China that didn’t obligate it to anything. Obama suddenly began beating the drum for net neutrality by sending progressive activists after his own FCC chair in one of the most hilarious Wag the Dog moments of his administration.

Amnesty was supposed to be his weapon of choice for sabotaging Republican legislative action. The Republicans propose X, Obama goes into amnesty mode.

For appearance’s sake, the amnesty rollout was supposed to follow a Republican “failure” to move forward allowing Obama to posture as the only serious guy in Washington who is just trying to get things done while Congress keeps obstructing and arguing.

Now Obama is jumping the gun.

Executive amnesty is not all that popular even among Democrats. Pulling that move ideally required blaming Republicans. Announcing his plans with a high profile speech before the GOP Senate is even in session makes it obvious that Obama is not responding to anything Congress did or did not do.

Sure there will be plenty of the same old “If Congress passes the bill that I want, it will supersede my illegal amnesty” nonsense, and “I’m ready to work with Congress anytime, but first I’m going to rule unilaterally like some mad emperor because they suck” stuff in there. And it’s going to look thinner and faker than it would have a little later.

So why is Obama doing it?

1. That boy needs attention – Obama simply can’t reconcile himself to being a lame duck and with Valerie Jarrett’s prompting, no doubt stung by the Politico story and pressure from the Dems to fire her, convinced him that he can establish a domineering role by shooting first.

That’s the kind of obnoxious arrogance that helped make Obama unpopular, not just with Republicans, but even with his own party.

2. The Gruber videos created an urgent need for a distraction. Phony climate pacts and phonier calls for net neutrality weren’t big enough. Gruber is leaking slowly into the mainstream consciousness. This is an emergency effort to suck up all the oxygen in the room, including that of Republicans, with the biggest distraction he can currently manage that doesn’t involve starting a war.

Obama is tripping over his own feet here. He’s sabotaging his own rationale for amnesty by not even pretending to work with a Republican Senate, many of whose members are quite amnesty friendly, but that’s nothing new for him.

In the great political equation, Obama always comes first. Before amnesty. Before anything else. He’ll risk a lot for a measure only because he doesn’t believe he can lose. That same arrogance leads him to toss it out as a distraction assuming that no one can stop him anyway and that he can always repair the damage to his popularity later if he uses it to distract from a major scandal now.

It’s a sad state of affairs when Joe Biden appears to have more patience and diplomatic skills than the guy who kept billing himself as a reasonable apolitical common sense guy.

President Obama and Vice President Biden might not see eye-to-eye on immigration strategy. A hint of an apparent disagreement was on display during Obama’s lunch with congressional leaders on Friday at the White House.

“The meeting was tense at times, according to a senior House Republican aide. The aide was not authorized to describe the back-and-forth publicly by name and spoke only on condition of anonymity,” the Associated Press reports.

“Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, about to lose his grip on the upper chamber, barely said a word. The aide said at one point as House Speaker John Boehner was making an argument on immigration, Obama responded that his patience was running out and Vice President Joe Biden interrupted to ask how long Republicans needed. Obama angrily cut Biden off, the aide said.”

Obama is making it clear that he’s not even going to bother playing out a GOP bill beyond a few basic formalities. He lost and now he has nothing to lose and is moving full speed ahead for amnesty.

Biden, for all his obnoxious habits, spent enough time in Congress that he understands negotiating with the other side. Obama spent very little time in Congress. He doesn’t know how to negotiate and doesn’t bother. He has only two modes. Appeasement and abuse. It’s very Middle Eastern in a way. He’s either appeasing you or stepping all over you.

All that’s missing is for Amnesty money to be used to promote Ebola and ISIS and the snake will have eaten its own tail.

In a letter to House Appropriations Chair Harold Rogers (R-Ky.) on Tuesday, Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas) called for defunding a provision in Obamacare that has been allowing taxpayer dollars set aside for public health initiatives to fund television ads for President Obama’s illegal alien amnesty programs.

Newsbusters (which like CNSNews.com is part of the Media Research Center), reported earlier this month that the California Endowment last year signed a $20 million deal with the Spanish-language TV outlet “Univision” to help promote Obamacare. Using federal tax dollars from the health fund, the foundation then sponsored ads on Univision reminding qualifying illegal aliens to renew their Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) permits before they expire.

Liberalism is a lot like organized crime. Money is funneled from one operation to another. Everything is tied up by syndicates. The entire system is totally intertwined and one dirty party of it goes to fund another dirty part of it.

There’s no end to it because it’s all the same thing. ObamaCare and Amnesty are both policy agendas. So money is moved around. Every individual liberal policy agenda helps push all the other ones.

Grants to a liberal organization are going to end up promoting the full spectrum of liberal causes from jailing fishermen to tranny rights. If you give to one, you give to all.

This is what helped build the octopus we’re dealing with now, but it also makes it extraordinary vulnerable. Shut off the flow of money and suddenly a lot of the infrastructure goes dark.

I have a simple approach to life. I always take advice from people who hate me and want to do me harm. And then I do the opposite.

On an unrelated topic, the lame duck president of the shrinking Obamamerica whose own party members don’t want to be seen with him has some advice for Republicans. We should probably do the opposite of what he says.

Barack Obama said that Republicans are committing political suicide by resisting comprehensive immigration reform and vowed to go ahead with his plans to loosen some migration rules on his own after Nov. 4 elections.

Speaking to tech startup executives at a town hall event at Cross Campus, an organization devoted to helping entrepreneurs create jobs for young Americans, Obama repeatedly attacked his political opponents as he tries to fend off a Republican takeover of the U.S. Senate in the upcoming elections.

On immigration, Obama said he would proceed with plans after the elections to do what he can within his constitutional power to help undocumented workers in the United States.

He said he would specifically make the H1B visa system more efficient “to encourage more folks to stay here.”

Let’s take advice about committing political suicide from a guy telling tech companies how they can take away more jobs from Americans. Losing the Senate? How strange. Apparently Americans without jobs can also vote.

“If they were thinking long-term politically, it is suicide for them not to do this, because the demographics of the country are such where you are going to lose an entire generation of immigrants” who feel that the Republican Party “does not care about me or my life,” Obama said.

Let’s commit political suicide now to avoid the risk of losing votes that we don’t have anyway. It’s a plan so great that it comes from a guy whose own Senators would rather be seen with shotguns than with him.

The only way to save the country from a Democratic Party hegemony is to bring it on a lot sooner. Seems like a plan. For Obama.

Or win the Senate.

I’m not sure there’s much of a difference since aside from guys like Sessions, Republican Senators like McCain, Graham, Rubio, Rand, etc tend to agree on the importance of amnesty for illegal aliens.

But Obama is willing to wait long enough for the dust to settle before he goes the unilateral amnesty route assuming that after the midterm election, either

1. The Democrats will have held on to the Senate and gain renewed confidence in their supremacy over the American people.

2. The Republicans will take the Senate and listen to the marching orders from their big donors to pass amnesty.

But at least we get a bit of a delay before the Emperor deploys the Amnesty Death Star.

Obama will postpone action on his promise to remake federal immigration policies through executive authority until after the midterm elections in November, the White House announced Saturday, acquiescing to Democrats’ fears that such a move would damage their prospects for maintaining control of the U.S. Senate.

“When I take executive action, I want to make sure that it’s sustainable,” Obama said in a clip released Saturday afternoon. “What I’m saying is that I’m going to act because it’s the right thing for the country. But it’s going to be more sustainable and more effective if the public understands what the facts are on immigration.”

The number of people believing this excuse is estimated to be zero. Even people who believe Obama can play for the NBA don’t buy it.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said Obama is playing “Washington politics at its worst.”

“What’s so cynical about today’s immigration announcement is that the president isn’t saying he’ll follow the law — he’s just saying he’ll go around the law once it’s too late for Americans to hold his party accountable in the November elections,” McConnell said. “President Obama should enforce the law, and if he would like changes, Republicans and Democrats alike have said he must work with Congress in a transparent, accountable way — not rewrite the laws on his own.”

Meanwhile in “Old man yells at cloud” news…

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said House Republicans are to blame because they “squandered the best chance in a generation to fix our broken immigration system.”

“I know that the president is determined to act, and when he does I support a broad use of his authority to fix as much of our broken immigration system as he can through executive action,” Reid said.

Reid also supports Obama wearing a crown and demanding that everyone call him, “Your Majesty”. But at least one GOP Senator is standing strong.

Sen. Jeff Sessions is dismissing news the White House will delay any executive action on immigration as nothing more than an effort to protect Congressional Democrats ahead of the November mid-term elections.

“President Obama has openly reaffirmed his unconstitutional plan to nullify our nation’s sovereign laws, issuing executive amnesty and work permits to millions of illegal immigrants,” Sessions, R-AL, said. The “announcement that this would come only after the midterm elections is of course an attempt to protect the Senate Democrat incumbents who have enabled President’s Obama lawless immigration decrees every step of the way.”

Apparently the national unemployment rate and Democratic Party votes just aren’t high enough.

As part of a legal settlement that will allow some illegal immigrants who deported themselves from Southern California to return to the United States, the federal government has agreed to advertise the settlement on various Mexican and Spanish-language media outlets.

The ACLU filed a class-action lawsuit last year on behalf of eleven illegal immigrants who deported themselves. The settlement reached on Wednesday will only cover “longtime California residents with relatives who are U.S. citizens and… young migrants whose parents brought them into the country illegally” who deported themselves between 2009 and 2013. An ACLU official has indicated that there were nearly 250,000 people who were “deported voluntarily from Southern California between 2009 and 2013″ and estimated to the Los Angeles Times that the “number of repatriations could reach into the hundreds or thousands.”

Or the hundreds of thousands. If no one counts or verifies, as was the case with the DREAMERS and the recent “unaccompanied minors” scam then it really doesn’t matter.

Advertising such a thing will act as a magnet to draw in a whole new group of illegal aliens testing out the system or misunderstanding the issue. This leads to a piecemeal illegal alien amnesty.

America is about to get a fresh supply of “unaccompanied minors”. They won’t however be coming for the free stuff.

Social media chatter shows Islamic State militants are keenly aware of the porous U.S.-Mexico border, and are “expressing an increased interest” in crossing over to carry out a terrorist attack, according to a Texas law enforcement bulletin sent out this week.

“A review of ISIS social media messaging during the week ending August 26 shows that militants are expressing an increased interest in the notion that they could clandestinely infiltrate the southwest border of US, for terror attack,” warns the Texas Department of Public Safety “situational awareness” bulletin, obtained by FoxNews.com.

The three-page bulletin, entitled “ISIS Interest on the US Southwest Border” and dated Aug. 28 was released to law enforcement on Thursday.

“Social media account holders believed to be ISIS militants and propagandists have called for unspecified border operations, or they have sought to raise awareness that illegal entry through Mexico is a viable option,” states the law enforcement bulletin, which is not classified.

Don’t worry, Obama will eventually have a strategy for this. Right after he works through his strategy for illegal alien amnesty.

Priorities are priorities.

Not an accident. Not incompetence. This is what lawless authoritarianism looks like.

The Department of Justice does not have receipts for more than half of the unaccompanied alien children apprehended at the southwest border by Border Patrol since the start of fiscal year 2013, government records show…

EOIR has recorded 20,814 receipts marked as juvenile in fiscal year 2014 as of June 30, but Border Patrol recorded 57,525 apprehensions of unaccompanied alien children during the same time frame. This means immigration courts have receipts for fewer than four out of every ten unaccompanied alien children apprehended by Border Patrol this fiscal year…

Immigration courts have completed only 9,630 cases marked as juvenile in fiscal year 2014, government data show, despite more than 20,000 juvenile receipts recorded and more than 57,000 UAC apprehensions made in fiscal year 2014 as of June 30, 2014. Mattingly tells NRO it’s important to remember that some of the juvenile cases completed this year may have been first brought in previous years. Not all of the cases completed in fiscal year 2014 were brought in fiscal year 2014.

So yes all those promises about them all being sent home were ridiculous lies. Not only is the system too backed up, but the entire game has been rigged to make that even more impossible than usual.

Any Republican who claims that the people behind this mess can be trusted to oversee border security in exchange for amnesty, when they are unilaterally running amnesty, is selling just as big of a lie as they are.

Welcome to Obama’s America. Come for the welfare. Stay for the outbreak.

At least 71 individuals from the three nations affected by the current Ebola outbreak have either turned themselves in or been caught attempting to illegally enter the U.S. by U.S. authorities between January 2014 and July 2014.

But that’s not all…

As of July 20, 2014, 1,443 individuals from China were caught sneaking across the porous U.S. border this year alone, with another 1,803 individuals either turning themselves in to U.S. authorities at official ports of entry, or being caught attempting to illegally enter at the ports of entry. This comes amid a massive crackdown by Chinese authorities of Islamic terrorists in the Communist nation.

Twenty-eight individuals from Pakistan were caught attempting to sneak into the U.S. this year alone, with another 211 individuals either turning themselves in or being caught at official ports of entry.

Thirteen Egyptians were caught trying to sneak into the U.S. this year alone, with another 168 either turning themselves in or being caught at official ports of entry.

Four individuals from Yemen were caught attempting to sneak into the U.S. by Border Patrol agents in 2014 alone, with another 34 individuals either turning themselves in or being caught attempting to sneak through official ports of entry. Yemen is not the only nation with individuals who pose terror risks to the U.S. that the report indicates travel from.

The failed nation of Somalia, known as a hotbed of Islamic terror activity, was also referenced in the report. Four individuals from Somalia were caught trying to sneak into the U.S. by Border Patrol agents in 2014. Another 290 either turned themselves in or were caught attempting to sneak in at official ports of entry.

So we don’t have to choose between Ebola and Islamic terrorism. We can have both.

Bush also favored amnesty. But unlike Obama, he wasn’t prepared to torch the Constitution to do it.

After a broad immigration bill failed in 2007, President George W. Bush ordered his staff to come up with every possible change he could make without the approval of Congress.

“Gregory Jacob, who worked on immigration issues with the president’s Domestic Policy Council, said the list included similarly broad protections from deportation as those implemented by Obama. But Bush’s staff concluded that the president didn’t have the legal authority to grant such “sweeping and categorical” protections, Jacob said.

Now Obama has gotten similar legal advice over his illegal actions, such as the Libyan War, and he rejected them.

Where Bush saw a Stop sign, Obama sees Forward sign.

Legal warnings from his own people telling him that he can’t do something are ignored.

I wrote about this attitude last month.

If you can do something, you do it. If your opponents can’t stop you, then you have the right to do it. The true radical, the man of destiny, will do anything he wants because that is what makes him great. Lies are constant and utterly shameless. No lie can ever be exposed because the liar moves on to the next lie and then the one after that. Truth is as meaningless in a Kto-Kovo world as law.

A Kto-Kovo leader, whether in the 7th century or the 21st century, operates by rallying his followers through bold acts that expand their power and humiliate and destroy the morale of their enemies.

This has been Obama’s lawless attitude all along. It’s what led to the border crisis. It is what is leading him to illegal alien amnesty.

You can fool some of the people some of the time. You can fool all of the people some of the time. But then you’re halfway through your second term and your approval rating is underwater and the guy running against you in 2012 would have won by a landslide if the election happened today.

And your fool skills have worn down to a nub.

Voters think President Obama is doing a poor job handling the latest immigration crisis and believe he wants to let most of the new illegal immigrants stay here despite majority support for their quick deportation.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 54% of Likely U.S. Voters want the U.S. government to send these new illegal immigrant children home as quickly as possible. Thirty-six percent (36%) think instead that the government should process them more slowly to determine whether any should be allowed to stay in the United States. Ten percent (10%) are undecided.

However, only 22% believe the president is interested in doing what most voters want – sending most of these new illegal immigrants home. Fifty-four percent (54%) believe he is more interested in letting most of them stay in the United States. One-in-four voters (24%) aren’t sure what Obama has in mind.

And most voters don’t buy the scam.

Most voters (52%) believe these illegal immigrants are coming here for economic reasons. Seventeen percent (17%) are not sure.

While 73% of Republicans and 53% of unaffiliated voters think the president wants most of these latest arrivals to stay here, only 40% of Democrats agree.

A plurality (44%) of Democrats believes the administration is doing a good or excellent job handling the latest immigration situation. Eighty-one percent (81%) of GOP voters and 61% of unaffiliateds think the administration is doing a poor job.

Those aren’t good numbers even among Dems.

In Obama’s America, illegal alien invaders live better than Americans do.

The feds said the rooms will be referred to as “suites.” The suites are furnished with bunk beds, play tables for children, flat-screen television sets and landline telephones.

“I will refer to everyone in this facility as a resident. ICE generally refers to people in custody as detainees,” ICE San Antonio Field Office Director Enrique Lucero said.

The center has a soccer field covered with artificial turf, basketball courts, ping pong tables and a weight room

There is a room where the immigrants will get to pick new clothes. Every illegal immigrant will be able to choose six sets of clothes, including shoes and socks.

The feds estimate it will cost approximately $74,000 a day to house 532 immigrants at the center.

A questioner asked, “Why is the Federal government accommodating people who are crossing illegally with activities like ping-pong, basketball and flat screen TVs in their rooms. And how does the Federal government expect folks back in Central America to see these images through national news and think it’s dangerous to cross.”

The answer is obvious.

Obama is encouraging them to come and making the magnet as big as possible.

“I am pretty sure you will agree this is nothing like we have seen before,” said ICE field office director Enrique Lucero during Thursday’s media tour of the facility.

Previously, the people being held at the facility were called detainees. Now they will be called residents. Guards are now called resident advisors. Even the facility itself will be referred to as a resident center rather than a detention center.

Other amenities include recreational fi

elds, a library, internet access, and a cafeteria which will serve three all-you-can-eat meals a day.
